We had a delicious meal at Uno Zwolle. We aren't from around here, but it is definitely highly recommended. Danny helped us the whole evening, and everyone on the staff was cheerful. Thanks.

We had a delicious meal. Upon arrival, we asked for a different spot instead of near the entrance, and this was arranged immediately. I have been there 4 times in a year, which indicates that this is a nice restaurant.

In itself a fine concept with many variations in what you can eat, but the quality is not high; for example, the meatballs in tomato sauce – the minced meat is factory-made and comparable to a frikandel.

Two questions determine your experience here: does the concept suit you, and how high do you set the bar within this concept? Food quality: was generally very mediocre and quite salty, with a few positive but certainly negative outliers. The microwave and steamer are working overtime in this kitchen. This works fine for certain dishes, but for others, you can easily miss the mark. Everything tastes a bit the same and is, where possible, smothered in a thick layer of sauce. The sushi is acceptable, and the pizza stands head and shoulders above the rest. The grill marks on our steak had an overpowering bitter taste. Service: The service is fast, actually too fast to expect good quality. We were genuinely annoyed by the number of people who came to our table. You are allowed to order every 10 minutes, so it is to be expected that someone will come to your table regularly. But in between, empty plates are constantly being cleared away. Not all at once, no: as soon as a plate is empty, someone is already standing at your table asking 'can we take this? Can we take that?' Additionally, the hosts asked quite frequently if everything was to our liking, and one specific waiter kept serving us dishes that were not meant for us. All in all, there were quite a lot of interruptions in 2.5 hours. As far as we are concerned, this could be much more efficient. Atmosphere: The location and the beautiful building have enormous potential, but the decor does not match it. The tables are fine to sit at, but simply too small for this concept. Because dishes landed on the table at a rapid pace, we had to constantly help the staff move things around to make enough room. We went home with full stomachs. But to say that we really enjoyed our meal is going a bit too far. It isn't really bad either. It has to suit you, and this clearly doesn't suit us.

We had a super delicious meal. The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor, the soup was so tasty, and the pancakes were wonderfully fluffy. The only downside was that you were only allowed to choose two desserts, but otherwise, it was better than expected. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. For us, restaurant UNO in Zwolle's city center was a one-off. Taking stock, the evening comes out as satisfactory. There are certainly strong points, but for this price, we expect just a bit more of an experience. **The plus points** What immediately stood out positively is the staff. The service is fast, they make good contact, and are incredibly friendly; they absolutely deserve a compliment for that. The location in Zwolle's historic city center is also a major plus and very easily accessible. Moreover, the quality of the food was consistent, which is pleasant in itself. **What was less good** Unfortunately, the restaurant fell short in other areas. We were disappointed by the atmosphere: the space is very large and lacks atmospheric elements, causing it to quickly feel soulless and somewhat massive. Additionally, the toilet was partially broken and looked messy, which detracts from the overall impression. Furthermore, the food was consistent in quality, but not surprising. **Price and comparison** The biggest stumbling block lies in the bill. When comparing UNO to Eten & Zo – a concept that is fairly similar in setup – the price difference is quite significant for us. We spent €200 at UNO, whereas at Eten & Zo, the all-you-can-eat experience came to €170.

It was a mixed bag. Most staff was very friendly, and one was especially kind. However, one of the young staff was quite rude, no smile, seemingly annoyed about everything you asked (and this simply brings down the experience as a whole). We had to pay 8 euros for a bottle of water. Drinks were on top of the fixed food price. The old building was lovely. Most food tasted good, but nothing very special, especially for the price (30-40 euro pp). Even if it’s all you can eat, there is a limit on certain items like all desserts. Would say there are better places to go to when in Zwolle.

Fantastic service and delicious tapas. Everything tasted great and we were served quickly. Even free coffee at the end.

What an incredibly nice place! The food is truly delicious and is served surprisingly quickly. But what really makes this restaurant unique to me is the staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell in everything that they enjoy their work. That creates a cozy and relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. And okay... I was told that you get coffee or tea with a review. I ordered a cappuccino, which apparently wasn't included in the promotion. But with the promise that I would write a *very* nice review, that was fortunately no problem. 🤭😜 Danny, here it is: promise kept! We will definitely be coming back here again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal at Restaurant Uno. From the moment we entered, we were received with extreme friendliness by enthusiastic and hospitable staff. The service was attentive, efficient, and they really took the time for a chat, making us feel welcome immediately. The food was flavorful, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. Everything was well-seasoned and the portions were generous. The cozy atmosphere in the restaurant also made the evening complete. All in all, we had a wonderful experience. Compliments to both the kitchen and the staff. We will certainly return here again and can wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Uno!

There is a very beautiful mural in the restaurant and it is beautifully situated in the old post office. When it is busy, you hardly notice it due to the spacious layout and the high ceiling.

We had dinner at Uno tonight; unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The food lacked flavor and was just not quite right. The drinks, on the other hand, were very tasty, but unfortunately, we wouldn't go back.

We ate here when outside temperatures were hitting nearly 40°. The food was tasty, the service was fine, but I found it very strange, annoying, and actually quite odd that with these incredibly high temperatures, pitchers of tap water weren't being offered continuously, but instead you had to buy a bottle of spring water with a capacity of only 0.75 liters for €7.95. Only if you had ordered a glass of wine or had to take medication did you get a measly glass of tap water with it. And this while a code red was issued in almost the entire Netherlands, schools closed, people were advised to stay indoors, and free water was being offered in many places. Sorry, but I found that very disappointing.

Everything is incredibly well organized, fast service. On weekends, two time slots: 17:00-19:30 and 20:00-closing. Plenty of time for delicious tapas. Delivered quickly. Perfect temperature and yet immediately edible, but could be a bit hotter. Flavors are excellent!

A wide variety of dishes to choose from. Not all the wait staff were equally friendly, but that didn't spoil the fun. We had a delicious meal.

Last Sunday, I dined here with a business friend. Uno is very well organized. The service is prompt (sometimes a bit too much so), but overall very friendly and certainly hospitable. The gentleman with the ginger curl/mustache deserves a special mention here, as he was 100% cooperative and played his role as host very well. The food is very diverse, which makes it extra interesting, but the quality is also varied. Everything is good; some dishes stand out because they are clearly homemade, while others are clearly wholesale standard (for example, the Spekkoek cake). There's room for improvement there. I usually give 4 stars for very good (there's always room for improvement, and we don't live in a utopia. So, rarely, if ever, 5). As a skilled reviewer and taste expert, I'm giving you 3 stars, which in my opinion equates to a 7.9 in your case. THAT IS VERY GOOD! Thanks for the lovely evening, and we'll definitely see you again! :)
