A truly authentic Korean food restaurant run by real Koreans!! It tastes exactly like Korea and is so delicious! The owner is also super friendly haha. It was so much fun chatting in Korean for the first time in a while 😊😊

I'm Korean here. Every time I visit The Hague, I only eat at this restaurant. The Korean food here is amazing: especially bibimbap, stir-fried pork (jae-yuk-bokkum), bulgogi, and gimbap. Not to mention how attentive and friendly the owner is to every customer. I am a Korean living in the Netherlands. K-bunsik serves not only Korean food but also a variety of other Asian dishes, and the staff consists of people from diverse backgrounds. The owner has also experienced various cultures. Since this is a very natural sight in The Hague, a multicultural city, I hope you do not have any prejudices just because the restaurant looks different from those in Korea. Jeyuk-bokkum, bulgogi, and bibimbap are my absolute favorites, seriously!

Absolutely delicious Korean food The food tastes just like the Korean cuisine we used to enjoy when we lived in Korea. Some my favorite food tastes authentic and comforting, with that real Korean flavor that instantly brings back memories. The owner is also incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. She made us feel so comfortable, almost like we were back at a little local restaurant in Korea. We’ll definitely be coming back. 😋🇰🇷❤️

I heard Chinese coming from the kitchen, so I just left. It seems like the restaurant mainly serves Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food.

It's perfect for when you're traveling and craving Korean food. A place with delicious side dishes is the real deal, and all the side dishes here are tasty.

I went into this restaurant because I was cold and windy while traveling. When I greeted them in Korean, they recognized that I was Korean and even gave me extra side dishes, taking really good care of me. I scraped every last bit of the kimchi stew and side dishes from the bowl. I'm full now, and my heart feels warm too!

The food was good, but the air conditioning was not working.

It was so delicious that I took the photo after finishing everything. It is more hearty and tastier than the Budae Jjigae I've had in Korea. My child had the shrimp tempura udon and really enjoyed it.

After my first visit, I basically already knew I would be back. The first time, the experience was truly a 10/10, so I was curious if it would be just as good again. And it was! It was an extremely hot day, and as a surprise, everyone received a free piece of watermelon to cool off. Such a small gesture, but incredibly thoughtful and hospitable. This time I chose the bulgogi beef set, and it was delicious. The eggplant, in particular, was a surprise; I never thought eggplant could be prepared so well. The grapefruit soju is also highly recommended, by the way! Oh, I ordered the kimchi pancakes too. Those were tasty as well. Moreover, there is free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to work quietly while enjoying my food. The combination of good food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere ensures that I will definitely be coming back here more often. Highly recommended!

I ordered the kim chi soup...it wasnt that good. I had much better before. The side dish were good but the main dish is a disappointment 😞

I really missed Korean food while studying abroad, and I had such a delicious meal of Budae Jjigae and Rabokki! The side dishes were tasty too! I'll definitely be coming back often haha.

Everything here is a 10/10. I had the kimchi soup with 4 side dishes with pork and kimbab with bulgogi. For drinks, I had the watermelon bubble tea. Nice and refreshing. Normally I don't like tofu, but it was super tasty in the kimchi. The atmosphere is nice. I love their playlist, because I could sing along to the soundtracks of my favorite Kdrama 🤩. I would also recommend this as a workplace. Additionally, the staff were very sweet and helpful! I will definitely be back!

The North Korean female owner welcomed us warmly, and the stone pot bibimbap was so delicious. It tasted exactly like the real thing, complete with sesame oil~ They gave us soybean paste stew and coffee as a complimentary service, and that was amazing too!!! Wow, I definitely have to order the soybean paste stew next time. Owner!! I wish you great success and good health. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was that the sign wasn't in Korean, though that's just my personal opinion.

If you are studying abroad or traveling and craving Korean food, I highly recommend this place! I had the spicy stir-fried pork, and the accompanying seasoned vegetable side dishes were delicious as well. The owner is a true Korean who even uses "Gwangcheon seaweed" for the gimbap. The meal came out, and it was so delicious that I ate it all before I even had time to take a picture. Make sure to grab a coffee after your meal!

The Hague's Best Korean-Owned Restaurant The cooking time, taste, and ingredients are the most authentically Korean. The earthenware pot bibimbap, aluminum pot ramen, and Gwangcheon seaweed are all faithful to the basics of Korean cuisine. It is also easily accessible as it is located right in front of the Central Station :)

Delicious Korean food, good value for money, rather simple atmosphere.

I haven't seen a Korean restaurant abroad as good as this one. My middle schooler said that after eating the budae jjigae and tuna gimbap, they feel energized for the trip. It is a hearty and filling meal.

The restaurant is very nice, I highly recommend it. It was my birthday and they gave me a lovely little gift.

You guys really have to go here. If you mention you're Korean, they take extra care of you because they feel bad about the students working so hard. I'm seriously going to go often. I had such a great meal there. Everyone is so kind, and I want to go eat there every day. It's the best. Look at that spicy pork! It's already lingering in my mind.

Had a super delicious meal at K-Bunsik!

Had some Korean food multiple times, but the portions are getting smaller and smaller and the prices go up like every month. The sandwich Bulgogi is made out of minced beef, never saw that. The bibimbap used to be really good, but now it contains soggy lettuce?? It’s a shame, because in the beginning the Korean dishes were really good. Maybe business is going too well and they don’t care anymore…

The experience was quite average. My biggest issue was the service，the staff completely forgot my order, and I had to remind them after waiting for over an hour. As for the food, it lacked authenticity. The Tteokbokki tasted like a quick supermarket kit. It felt like they just boiled the rice cakes and poured in a pre-packaged sauce. It was just flatly sweet and spicy without any depth of flavor. Given the long wait and the mediocre quality, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The Koran Fried Chicken had more breading than chicken, was extremely overpriced at €11.49 for 8 pieces, and seemed to be a bit old as the breading was partially hard. A real shame, only worth one star.

A waste of money, the food isn't authentic, nor tasty nor good value for money. Even the bubble tea tasted really bad 😔. Please do better, a lot of the korean dishes are so watered down 👎🏽.

You can skip the Vis Soep at the store, but you absolutely must treat your friend to it.

I went there because I really wanted to eat Korean food during my 3-week trip, and it was really delicious. The stir-fried pork and soybean paste stew were delicious, and the seasoning of the side dishes was also very tasty.

The boss always welcomes you warmly and the food is so delicious. I was surprised that the side dishes were tastier than the ones I eat in Korea, and I was surprised again by the seasoning. I think I go there at least once a day whenever I miss Korean food in a foreign country. If you want Korean food in The Hague, you should all go to K Bunsik!!

They sell a lot of food, which did look good. It was not bad but my chasiu was cold. The glass noodles were really nice. They call out your number of the order but it's barely audible. Atmosphere, bit like a snack corner..

DELICIOUS!! I want to keep coming back till I've tried the whole menu 🫠 I had the bbq pork with a side of rice and pickled vegetables. The pork was tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The pickled sides were fresh, crunchy, and had the perfect acidity to balance the fatty pork. The rice was warm and well cooked.

It's a type of asian fast food with lot's of choices (mostly japanese + korean). We went for a quick dinner and ordered Budae Jjigae (korean army stew) for two. This came with rice and a few side dishes (including kimchi of course). Portion was big so we left with out tummies filled. Paid about 38E for the stew. Will come back another time to try the other stews/hotpots :)

This is my fourth time trying their pork rib soup. On a winter's day, watching a steaming pot of tender, flavorful pork rib soup, paired with a few delicate Korean side dishes, fills me with warmth and happiness. The Korean auntie is as warm and welcoming as ever, always explaining things carefully and treating me with utmost hospitality, making me feel right at home. This place is definitely worth coming back to again and again. Don't miss their fried chicken—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it's simply irresistible!

Not sure why this is rated so highly. The food was mediocre at best. Our bibimbap did not have any gochujang, the tapioca in the bubble tea was nasty and our fried chicken was nearly cold because they forgot to deliver it to us. The chicken-mu was not really authentic either

A canteen of sorts that sells all sorts of Asian food and well made. The beef in the soup was melt in your mouth and you get a lot of side dishes! The bbq set menu is also great we had the pork one. Was very saucy.

Most Korean restaurants are run by Chinese people, but this one is run by a Korean-Chinese who is very kind. We ordered bibimbap and kimchi stew, and it tasted just like in Korea. It was delicious. I asked for more cucumber salad and finished it all. We chatted for almost an hour. He said he was almost 60, but he didn't look like it. Haha. He said it's been 27 years since he came to the Netherlands. He seemed to be working too hard, so I told him to take care of his health and take it easy. Five minutes after we left the restaurant, he came running back carrying the eco bag I had forgotten. Haha. I'm a retired person in my 60s.

When you're tired of European food, Korean food is beyond imagination. The kimchi stew is amazing. I ate two bowls of rice in no time. And I was hungry, so I bought an extra bowl of rice. They asked why I didn't ask, and said they would have just given me another bowl of rice. I was so disappointed. ㅜ I'll stop by again next time I'm there. Good luck!!

I had a really hard time in France and the Netherlands because the food didn't suit me, but coming here made me feel like I could really live🥹 I didn't know Korean food would be this precious. The owner was so kind and gave me a lot of rice, so I was happy. You especially have to try the budaejjigae! It's really the best🔥 Highly recommended!!

Visited on Monday, September 8, 2025. During my trip to the Benelux countries, I visited several Korean restaurants (perhaps due to Korea's popularity in this region, unlike other European countries, most of them were strangely Korean. Searching for "Korean restaurants" and finding Korean owners, let alone servers, was a bit of a letdown. I was worried that these restaurants were anything but Korean, wondering if this was what Korean food tasted like. I was worried I'd be criticized by foreigners.) Disappointed and angry at the poor quality of these restaurants, I visited K-Bunshik in The Hague, and my anger was largely alleviated. The friendly welcome from the owner was heartwarming, but the bibimbap that was served shortly after was generous and full of various vegetables, and the stir-fried squid was also hearty and delicious. The food was impeccable, rivaling even the most famous Korean restaurants. The side dishes were also delicious, and the wide selection was even more impressive. The owner was attentive, coming to our table every so often to ask if we needed anything or felt uncomfortable. Since her accent sounded North Korean, I asked her where she was from. She told me her parents were from North Korea, but she was born and raised in China, which made me even more delighted and touched :) :D She also brought us more side dishes and coffee after the meal. I asked her if she had an apron, and she must have needed a replacement. She gave me a new one, which I was pleasantly surprised to find! It was a proper apron with the "K-Bunsik" logo on it. It was the first time in countless European and other countries that we'd ever experienced a restaurant offering free water. And that was Korean! Thanks to her warm hospitality, my husband and I were deeply moved by the taste of Korea we'd experienced in Europe for the first time in a long time. We hadn't even looked at the reviews, but later, reading them, we saw how much the owner's dedication truly reflected them, which made us feel even more genuine. She wasn't just kind to us. We realized she truly has a passion for her work and loves what she does. Please take care of your health and continue to provide food that gives strength to our fellow Koreans visiting The Hague. You, who work hard to promote and protect Korean food there, are no less than martyr Lee Jun.

I've been to this restaurant several times in the last few days. The ambiance and the staff are simply fantastic. It doesn't feel crowded, but rather a homey atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious, the portions are large and very filling. Everything you order is fresh and delicious. The owner is a wonderful and very polite person. I would love to come back. Unfortunately, tomorrow is my last day. If you love Korean cuisine, this is the place to be and you'll definitely get your money's worth. I definitely recommend it.

Please... this isn't Korean food... I ordered dumpling soup and tuna mayo samgyetang... As soon as I took a bite of the dumpling soup, it tasted faintly like samgyetang, but then all I could taste was garlic. I couldn't even tell what kind of base they used. And wow, there's a lot of cabbage in it? The sudden sweetness of the cabbage made me dizzy... The dumplings were so empty, I was disappointed again... (No rice included with the dumpling soup) The samgyetang was made with warm rice, so the seaweed was soggy. The rice grains fell apart. It would be better to make it in advance, keep it cold, and reheat it when needed! Some of the kiosks didn't accept travel cards... They need separate instructions!

The food tasted okay overall, but the mushrooms in my japchae were spoiled, and one of the banchan dishes tasted moldy.

When I lived in The Hague, I would pass by and say hello, and when I had a problem, I would go to the owner and tell him, and he would listen. Now, I don't go to the language school there, so I haven't seen him. Haha, if you want Korean food, eat here. It's delicious.

It's perfect for a heart-warming soup on a cold day. The fried chicken is delicious, the Korean side dishes are authentic, and the Korean barbecued pork and kimchi rolls are so satisfying. I'm so grateful to the owner for always giving me free extra dishes, rice, and drinks when I see I'm eating too much. Not only does she offer the most authentic Korean food, but more importantly, her attentive and caring service makes this restaurant a must-try in The Hague. ❤️

This Korean restaurant is popular with locals. The kimchi stew, made with perfectly fermented kimchi and served at home, is the epitome of Korean cuisine. The side dishes are all delicious, and the owner's kindness in offering me a bowl of rice because I'm Korean was truly exceptional!

Way too expensive and not traditional food. Food was ok but not really tasty. Payed like 17€ für glass noodles with a little bit of vegetables?? The ladies were really nice but couldn‘t really speak englisch. Had to pay extra money for a take away box for the left overs.

I had delicious tteokbokki and budaejjigae!!! The tteokbokki was sweet soup tteokbokki, and the tteok was chewy and delicious!! The side dishes were also so delicious, probably because they made them themselves. The budaejjigae had a rich broth, so I couldn't stop eating!!! The budaejjigae was a large portion for 3-4 people, so I think it would be good to share. The owner was especially kind, so I felt good the whole time I was eating 😊 I'll come again next time!!!

We were very satisfied. We (three people) ordered tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, and bibimbap. We also had two bao buns and three drinks, and the total came to about €60. The dishes seemed a bit small at first, but they were perfectly sufficient and filled us up. It's more like a cafeteria/fast food restaurant, but the food was delicious. We would come again 👍

Nice and clean place. It is a mixture of cuisines; Chinese-Suriname, and Korean. Some of the dishes stood out, like to Korean chicken, but not all of them. Folks are helpful and food was prepared pretty quickly.

After visiting Pearl Earrings, I was looking for a restaurant when I saw a touching review and decided to visit. It was better than any restaurant I've ever eaten at in Europe.

It was not a Korean restaurant I expected, they had many other foods, like a snack bar. So I had my doubt. Then it was delicious, especially side dishes were fresh and tasty. The lady refilled one of dish I liked particularly, so friendly and generous. Recommend!
