They sell a lot of food, which did look good. It was not bad but my chasiu was cold. The glass noodles were really nice. They call out your number of the order but it's barely audible. Atmosphere, bit like a snack corner..

DELICIOUS!! I want to keep coming back till I've tried the whole menu 🫠 I had the bbq pork with a side of rice and pickled vegetables. The pork was tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The pickled sides were fresh, crunchy, and had the perfect acidity to balance the fatty pork. The rice was warm and well cooked.

It's a type of asian fast food with lot's of choices (mostly japanese + korean). We went for a quick dinner and ordered Budae Jjigae (korean army stew) for two. This came with rice and a few side dishes (including kimchi of course). Portion was big so we left with out tummies filled. Paid about 38E for the stew. Will come back another time to try the other stews/hotpots :)

This is my fourth time trying their pork rib soup. On a winter's day, watching a steaming pot of tender, flavorful pork rib soup, paired with a few delicate Korean side dishes, fills me with warmth and happiness. The Korean auntie is as warm and welcoming as ever, always explaining things carefully and treating me with utmost hospitality, making me feel right at home. This place is definitely worth coming back to again and again. Don't miss their fried chicken—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it's simply irresistible!

Not sure why this is rated so highly. The food was mediocre at best. Our bibimbap did not have any gochujang, the tapioca in the bubble tea was nasty and our fried chicken was nearly cold because they forgot to deliver it to us. The chicken-mu was not really authentic either

A canteen of sorts that sells all sorts of Asian food and well made. The beef in the soup was melt in your mouth and you get a lot of side dishes! The bbq set menu is also great we had the pork one. Was very saucy.

When you're tired of European food, Korean food is beyond imagination. The kimchi stew is amazing. I ate two bowls of rice in no time. And I was hungry, so I bought an extra bowl of rice. They asked why I didn't ask, and said they would have just given me another bowl of rice. I was so disappointed. ㅜ I'll stop by again next time I'm there. Good luck!!

Most Korean restaurants are run by Chinese people, but this one is run by a Korean-Chinese who is very kind. We ordered bibimbap and kimchi stew, and it tasted just like in Korea. It was delicious. I asked for more cucumber salad and finished it all. We chatted for almost an hour. He said he was almost 60, but he didn't look like it. Haha. He said it's been 27 years since he came to the Netherlands. He seemed to be working too hard, so I told him to take care of his health and take it easy. Five minutes after we left the restaurant, he came running back carrying the eco bag I had forgotten. Haha. I'm a retired person in my 60s.

The food was delicious! I really appreciated that the spicy sauce was served on the side, so I could adjust the heat to my liking 😉

I had a really hard time in France and the Netherlands because the food didn't suit me, but coming here made me feel like I could really live🥹 I didn't know Korean food would be this precious. Visited on Monday, September 8, 2025. During my trip to the Benelux countries, I visited several Korean restaurants (perhaps due to Korea's popularity in this region, unlike other European countries, most of them were strangely Korean. Searching for "Korean restaurants" and finding Korean owners, let alone servers, was a bit of a letdown. I was worried that these restaurants were anything but Korean, wondering if this was what Korean food tasted like. I was worried I'd be criticized by foreigners.) Disappointed and angry at the poor quality of these restaurants, I visited K-Bunshik in The Hague, and my anger was largely alleviated. The friendly welcome from the owner was heartwarming, but the bibimbap that was served shortly after was generous and full of various vegetables, and the stir-fried squid was also hearty and delicious. The food was impeccable, rivaling even the most famous Korean restaurants. The side dishes were also delicious, and the wide selection was even more impressive. The owner was attentive, coming to our table every so often to ask if we needed anything or felt uncomfortable. Since her accent sounded North Korean, I asked her where she was from. She told me her parents were from North Korea, but she was born and raised in China, which made me even more delighted and touched :) :D She also brought us more side dishes and coffee after the meal. I asked her if she had an apron, and she must have needed a replacement. She gave me a new one, which I was pleasantly surprised to find! It was a proper apron with the "K-Bunsik" logo on it. It was the first time in countless European and other countries that we'd ever experienced a restaurant offering free water. And that was Korean! Thanks to her warm hospitality, my husband and I were deeply moved by the taste of Korea we'd experienced in Europe for the first time in a long time. We hadn't even looked at the reviews, but later, reading them, we saw how much the owner's dedication truly reflected them, which made us feel even more genuine. She wasn't just kind to us. We realized she truly has a passion for her work and loves what she does. Please take care of your health and continue to provide food that gives strength to our fellow Koreans visiting The Hague. You, who work hard to promote and protect Korean food there, are no less than martyr Lee Jun.

I've been to this restaurant several times in the last few days. The ambiance and the staff are simply fantastic. It doesn't feel crowded, but rather a homey atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious, the portions are large and very filling. Everything you order is fresh and delicious. The owner is a wonderful and very polite person. I would love to come back. Unfortunately, tomorrow is my last day. If you love Korean cuisine, this is the place to be and you'll definitely get your money's worth. I definitely recommend it.

Please... this isn't Korean food... I ordered dumpling soup and tuna mayo samgyetang... As soon as I took a bite of the dumpling soup, it tasted faintly like samgyetang, but then all I could taste was garlic. I couldn't even tell what kind of base they used. And wow, there's a lot of cabbage in it? The sudden sweetness of the cabbage made me dizzy... The dumplings were so empty, I was disappointed again... (No rice included with the dumpling soup) The samgyetang was made with warm rice, so the seaweed was soggy. The rice grains fell apart. It would be better to make it in advance, keep it cold, and reheat it when needed! Some of the kiosks didn't accept travel cards... They need separate instructions!

The food tasted okay overall, but the mushrooms in my japchae were spoiled, and one of the banchan dishes tasted moldy.

When I lived in The Hague, I would pass by and say hello, and when I had a problem, I would go to the owner and tell him, and he would listen. Now, I don't go to the language school there, so I haven't seen him. Haha, if you want Korean food, eat here. It's delicious.

It's perfect for a heart-warming soup on a cold day. The fried chicken is delicious, the Korean side dishes are authentic, and the Korean barbecued pork and kimchi rolls are so satisfying. I'm so grateful to the owner for always giving me free extra dishes, rice, and drinks when I see I'm eating too much. Not only does she offer the most authentic Korean food, but more importantly, her attentive and caring service makes this restaurant a must-try in The Hague. ❤️

This Korean restaurant is popular with locals. The kimchi stew, made with perfectly fermented kimchi and served at home, is the epitome of Korean cuisine. The side dishes are all delicious, and the owner's kindness in offering me a bowl of rice because I'm Korean was truly exceptional!

We were very satisfied. We (three people) ordered tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, and bibimbap. We also had two bao buns and three drinks, and the total came to about €60. The dishes seemed a bit small at first, but they were perfectly sufficient and filled us up. It's more like a cafeteria/fast food restaurant, but the food was delicious. We would come again 👍

I had delicious tteokbokki and budaejjigae!!! The tteokbokki was sweet soup tteokbokki, and the tteok was chewy and delicious!! The side dishes were also so delicious, probably because they made them themselves. The budaejjigae had a rich broth, so I couldn't stop eating!!! The budaejjigae was a large portion for 3-4 people, so I think it would be good to share. The owner was especially kind, so I felt good the whole time I was eating 😊 I'll come again next time!!!

Nice and clean place. It is a mixture of cuisines; Chinese-Suriname, and Korean. Some of the dishes stood out, like to Korean chicken, but not all of them. Folks are helpful and food was prepared pretty quickly.

After visiting Pearl Earrings, I was looking for a restaurant when I saw a touching review and decided to visit. It was better than any restaurant I've ever eaten at in Europe.

It was not a Korean restaurant I expected, they had many other foods, like a snack bar. So I had my doubt. Then it was delicious, especially side dishes were fresh and tasty. The lady refilled one of dish I liked particularly, so friendly and generous. Recommend!

This morning, as soon as they opened, I rushed over and had the doenjang jjigae. It was so delicious, I danced while eating it. ㅠㅠ I stayed in The Hague for three days, and I should've just gone from day one and just eaten all the Korean food I could. Excluding the soybean paste specialty store and the handmade doenjang shop, the food wasn't all that different. The tofu was a bit dry compared to the ones in Korea, but I couldn't even find tofu in my neighborhood, so I was grateful for the food. The owner was so kind. 😭😭 He kept talking to me as we passed by, so it was fun to finally speak Korean for the first time in a while!!

I ate 60,000 won worth by myself. It's truly amazing. I had a lunch box, japchae, and a cola. The side dishes were delicious. The kimchi, which resembled radish kimchi, was especially delicious. I had a chicken lunch box, and the seasoned chicken was good. However, the soybean paste stew didn't really suit my taste. I remembered having delicious japchae somewhere else, so I ordered it, but it was too oily and greasy. I should have never ordered the japchae.

On our way back from the Mauritshuis Museum with my sister, we stopped by this restaurant, craving Korean food. It's very close to the museum. Upon learning we were Korean, the owner greeted us warmly. We ordered kimchi stew, and it was surprisingly refreshing and delicious, even better than the one we had in Korea. We asked for more plain rice, and he gave us a free bowl of rice. He also mentioned that he'd just made grilled eggplant for us to try. It was so delicious, we were curious how he made it. He refilled our side dishes several times, saying we enjoyed our meal together, and even refilled the grilled eggplant he'd just made. He even gave us a water bottle to take home with us, so we didn't have to buy it. I'd been craving Korean food, but this restaurant's hearty meal gave me the energy to travel again. This restaurant is truly special, with all the side dishes bringing out the natural flavors of the food without any seasoning. I spoke with the owner, and he was a very kind person who greeted each and every customer individually and had a great impression. I hope you stay healthy and share more Korean food with us there.

It's so delicious!!! It's run by a real Korean person. They even make the side dishes themselves, which is delicious. This is a restaurant you can trust!!!! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. Our group had kimbap, stir-fried pork, tteokbokki, jajangmyeon, chicken, hot dogs, and japchae!!! It was so delicious that we ordered more and ended up eating quite a bit!!!!!! My corndog didnt have any cheese and i did tell them i wanted some, small bowl of rice for 4€? Also they didnt speak properly English. Btw one of my friends corndog was cold and then my other friends corndog was forgotten.

This is a great place to take your friend, that friend who's curious about Korean food but doesn't know what to order. I went to K-bunsik regularly last year when I got homesick :) Very friendly owner who's keen to chat in Korean, ask what items you'd like to see on the menu (I think she had plans to add more soups), and to ask if the white friend you brought with is your boyfriend for the extra Korean aunty experience ;-) The only downside is there are few vegetarian/vegan options. fyi: they used to operate in the Amazing Oriental in Amsterdam Noord, but moved here, and that apparently is a tragedy for a dear friend of mine living there. Now she has to slum it down all the way to den haag.

I stopped by because I was craving Korean food. The restaurant was spacious and nice. I ordered bulgogi, which was a bit pricey but delicious. It was similar to Korean bulgogi, but a bit saltier. It went well with rice. The side dishes were also decent.

If you're in The Hague and craving Korean food, I highly recommend coming here. The owner is Korean. Of course, there are other Korean-run restaurants, but I highly recommend coming here to avoid the disappointment of going to a foreigner-run restaurant and finding out the food isn't quite what you expected. My girlfriend and I heard good reviews from locals, so we went to a nearby Korean restaurant, thinking it was delicious. But my girlfriend left. That's why we came here. The owner is a true Korean, and the food is so similar to what we used to eat in Korea that it made us happy again. If you're craving authentic Korean food like we did, I highly recommend coming here. The owner is a man with a lion's head, and when you say hello, he's always happy to meet you. He'll make your meal spicier, tastier, or even give you extra side dishes, so I highly recommend saying hello!

It was my birthday while traveling in Europe, so I wanted to eat a lot of Korean food to celebrate, so I went to a different Korean restaurant, but I went wrong and I thought it couldn't go on like this, so I came to a snack restaurant. The moment I ate the kimchi that the owner made, I felt like I was going to die. It really tastes like Korea. If you want to taste an oasis of hope while traveling in Europe, come here~

Tasty food and friendly service, but portions were small for the price. Sides that are usually included at other Korean spots had to be paid for separately. On the other hand: A clean interior, nice decor, power outlets at every table and clean toilets.

If you are bored of eating only bread and want rice, come to K-Bunshik! The kimchi stew in particular tastes exactly like Korean food 👍👍 The owner welcomes you kindly, and after the meal, he gives you coffee, so you can eat well and stay well. If I come to Den Haag again, I will definitely go to this Korean restaurant again ㅎㅎ

I had kimchi stew, and the kimchi was a little undercooked, so it tasted more like kimchi stew at home. I wanted to try tteokbokki and kimbap, but I couldn't even finish the plain rice ㅠㅠ

Located in a food court-like interior, K-bunsik shares their space with a chinese-surinamese toko from the amazing oriental chain. Ordering can be done at either the counter, self service kiosks or by QR-code at the tables. There is a wide variety of menu options and customisable when possible. e.g. add pork with your kimchi stew, choose bibimbap topping. The kimchi stew(€17,99) comes out piping hot, steamy and bubbling in a stone pot bowl, with lots of tofu. Rice and side dishes(banchan) are included. It’s proper spicy and perfect on cold days. Add pork and it’s a hearty meal of good portions. The kimchi tastes like the manufactured jonga brand which reminded me of the korean comfort food franchise “kimbab heaven”, so that’s not a bad thing per se. The soybean stew tastes decent. I added tofu. It has lots of tasty mushrooms but also some baby paksoi which is usually not used in this dish, it added a slight fresh taste to the soup. The teokbokki(€15,99) is nicely chewy and sweet. Tastes similar to home made style. Served with an hard boiled egg and some fish cakes. Recommended to eat with kimbap to dip it in the sauce. At its price point not that worth it though. Should be more fairly priced at €11-12. The seafood pancake(haemul jeon) is pan-fried thinly and crispy. Barely contains any seafood as far as I can notice so it’s closer to a buchimgae(vegetable pancake). Thus the pricing should be lowered from €13,45. The kimchi pancake is proper crispy and on the thinner side which I prefer. A pleasant slight sour taste in the batter from the kimchi . Slightly more kimchi may be added to have it a bit more of a bite and crunch. The stir fried spicy pork set(€17,99) has more of a sweet tone relative to the spicy tone. The taste and soupy meat juice reminds me of jumulleok. I advise to please store the pork hygienically, because the meat had a noticeable gamey smell to it. The kimchi fried rice surprised me. Proper sour and aged kimchi is used and each rice grain stir fried perfectly, and no lumping together of rice grains. With a nice fried egg topping. Good portion of rice. The jajangmyeon(black bean noodles) properly surprised me. It has a nice smokey taste to the creamy sauce which contains pork and the sweetness is just right with the onions. The tuna kimbap is averagely decent. It should taste more creamy, rich and smooth, so I advise to use more mayo and tuna in the filling, can’t go wrong with that. The big surprise is the fried chicken quality they have here. It’s actually proper korean style fried chicken. Crispy and crunchy with various sweet glaze options. And they do the radish sides right which is not always the case elsewhere! The rabokki is a miss. I expected teokbokki with chewy noodles but this buldak fire noodle based version has sweet corn, iceberg lettuce and wakame salad, ingredients that are not used in this dish. The banchan that comes with some main dishes tasted very vinegary during my first visit. This has improved and there is no overwhelming vinegar taste to it anymore. The portions and variety are great. All in all, k-bunsik is a place that offers a broad variety of korean comfort food that are mostly fairly priced in a laid back setting and low entry atmosphere and I will definitely keep visiting to try the rest of the menu. P.S. The owner is so kind and friendly. Often apologising for the wait and thanking for our patience even though the food is always served in a timely manner. Also, at each visit she has given me free complimentary drinks such as; bottled water, sodas and even beer and bubble tea!

The lady boss was very friendly, enthusiastic and talkative. My husband and son ordered beef and pork bulgogi, which were delicious and highly recommended. I ordered pork bibibum, which was also good, but I added too much Korean hot sauce, which was a little spicy. I am so lucky to be able to eat delicious Asian food in The Hague!

I ate Korean food in a Chinese restaurant. They even greeted me in Chinese, but they gave me a Chinese ladle instead of a Chinese spoon. I thought it was a Korean restaurant.

The food is delicious, just like what you eat in Korea! It is really a very cost-effective Korean food in the Netherlands, and different new menus will be introduced after a while. You can also buy soju, beer, rice wine, etc. at the cashier. The boss is also very enthusiastic. It is very comfortable to get together with friends here.

You can taste Korean food that is more delicious and authentic than any other restaurant in Korea. In terms of the quantity and quality of the food, it seems to be the best among Korean home-style restaurants I've seen abroad. Five side dishes in soybean paste stew... What's more, in Europe... And the owner makes it all himself. If you're Korean, the owner is very welcoming and provides great service. I chose tofu soybean paste stew, and they added beef, gave me a side dish of radish, and even served me coffee for dessert. (I didn't get a picture of the radish and coffee that came out later.) The bibimbap is on a whole different level from the original bibimbap in Korea. ^^ Above all, I recommend this place because it's a place where you can feel the warmth of Koreans with delicious food!! These days, when you meet Koreans in Europe, you're usually shy, but I was so grateful that they welcomed me so warmly. Most of the restaurant's customers are foreigners, and it was impressive to see them all enjoying Korean food. I hope you continue to prosper in the future~

Tonight I ordered a Laksa soup with shrimps. Wow, what a feast!! Tasty but well-filled meal soup. When I was halfway through, I got a top-up from the very friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

Long wait (35 minutes). The food wasn't bad, but nothing special, and it was expensive. I ordered the meat bowl. It was busy that day, though...

Fast food-style canteen with on-screen ordering (relatively simple). Really average service, although the staff is friendly: you have to ask again to get cutlery, a bit messy. The worst part is really the food: industrial noodles immersed in a bath of soy or spicy sauce, few or no vegetables, no protein, too dirty, too sweet, too greasy. All this for 15/20 euros per dish. In short, avoid! Rarely have you eaten so badly.

I’ve been coming here since it first opened, and it’s still my favorite Korean restaurant! The food is super authentic, and it always feels like home. The owner and staff are always so warm and welcoming—the vibe is great. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10! ! Full marks!

Had a nice, not too heavy lunch (lightly spiced Korean ramen with an egg and tuna kimbap roll). Friends had beef/pork set; the meat is served on a hot (not sizzling) plate, bowl of rice and a variety of vegetables. A bit pricey but luckily someone else paid. Enjoyed the food so no complaints.

Not only the Korean people's affection, but the taste is also excellent, and I heard that they made the kimchi themselves, and it was the best kimchi I had in the Netherlands... It's a very nice shop. Orders are placed at the entrance using touchscreens, giving you a good overview. The food itself is then prepared very quickly and is ready to pick up in no time. There's plenty of space in the shop, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The service is excellent overall. We opted for the takeout option and were very impressed. I'm considering driving into town again tomorrow just for this shop.

I always come here to eat, but I didn't expect the boss to be too picky. The stone pot bibimbap didn't come with soup, and the beef was changed from slices to minced meat. The beef noodles ordered by the children were not as good as before. I will definitely not come here again.

Korean instant noodles are surprisingly delicious! Spicy rice cakes and BBQ are also good~~ If you want to eat hot food, you can go to this place

The chicken was delicious, but the kimchi stew was as expected.

Not only the main dish but also the side dishes are all delicious. I visit when I want to eat my mom’s food abroad. When I had a cold, I ate soybean paste stew and the cold went away. The quantity is large and the price is very good in the Netherlands. Be sure to try Korean food instead of the snacks on the left side of the counter. I highly recommend this clean and friendly restaurant!!

Don't order the ebi fry miso ramen, it doesn't taste like miso. And when you are eating, there will be flies

I guess this is the most hidden gem in the Netherlands. The Korean food is amazing and the owner Kim makes the food really authentic. They serve other dishes as well but their Korean section is the best :)

The food does not match expectations of Korean food, the beef bulgogi contained barely a strand of beef! The other food did not taste good.
