This wasn’t our first time visiting The BAB Oud West, and once again, it did not disappoint. We had an amazing dinner that truly felt like being back in Korea for a little while. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Due to a misunderstanding, we accidentally ordered a dish that was too spicy for us, but the staff were very kind and offered to switch it for a milder one without any hesitation. That level of service really made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back again!

Not ashamed to say, I went there one rainy evening as I was waiting for an emergency appointment at the next door's emergency psychiatrist. The restaurant is small, but the staff was friendly and the food is good and filling. It will sound cliché, but it was a nice out of time moment while I was waiting for that stressful appointment ❤️

Amazing Korean food. I loved how fast the service was and yet the taste was top notch.

The service was incredible and the food even better.

I’ve had better food court Korean food by non Koreans but I understand this is Amsterdam and I should lower my expectations. The fried mandu came out quickly but was flavorless. The filling was a bit of gray chicken and not much else. And the dolsot bibimbap required repeated rounds of bibim sauce to make it taste like anything at all. Perhaps this food has been adjusted to suit local taste, but I didn’t taste any Korean flavor at all, no hit of garlic or roasted sesame oil in the banchans or meat topping the rice. Not even some green onions to top the bowl.

Very, very delicious and authentic food

The Bibimbap is very tasty, albeit mostly cold until you add the rice. You order via a QR, that takes you to a site that asks for all your personal info. Don't understand why this is needed.

This is an authentic Korean restaurant in Amsterdam run by Koreans. I visited twice during my trip~~ I stopped by for some kimchi stew and a glass of makgeolli before heading back to Korea~ I highly recommend this place!!!

The food was okay during dinner, but after an hour and a half things went completely wrong with vomiting and illness. I will contact you tomorrow for my money.

Delicious and in a great location

Ordered the best selling Bibimbap with bulgogi and the Korean fried chicken (classic) and it was bomb !!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a taste of delicious and authentic Korean cuisine in the middle of Amsterdam

Waited for an hour for the order, which was cancelled without notice. Now I have no food and won't get my money back for another 5 days.

Korean food eaten abroad, Satisfied with dishes like Kimchi Jjigae and Kimchi Fried Rice. However, I do not recommend the Kimchi Jeon. Excellent value for money.

The chicken is amazing. I’ve eaten at the bab for almost 6 years now and the sweet spicy combo is so far the best. Only negative is that they stopped doing two sizes of chicken. Back in the days you could choose from around 230grams and 450grams boneless which was perfect.

The other locations are better this one the toilet stinks and the entire restaurant stinks from the toilet.

I had dinner twice in The Bab, once alone and another one with my boyfriend. Real korean street food. We tried literally everything: fried chicken (korean classic and creamy), bulgogi on rice, bibimbap, deep fried chicken mandu and dudbegi bulgogi soup with rice. The food was really spicy, highly recommended if you want a traditional korean meal!

The fried chicken was not that good. Neither was their spicy japchae. Loved the beef stew though.

The food was very good overall ! But when my bibimbap arrived, the dolsot was unfortunately not hot enough, so I had to send it back ! A bit disappointing at first, to be honest ! But once it came back, it was extra hot, just how it should be ! The rice was perfectly crispy at the bottom, full of texture and flavor, and it completely changed the experience ! In the end, it was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely worth the wait ! The corn silk tea was good , i recommend it !

This is the best soup I've ever had, and the taste is almost the same as when I was in Korea.Very warm.

We tried BAB Oost years ago and this time we dined at BAB Oud-West. You order and pay online after scanning a QR code. Then the food is quickly brought to your table. The soup was a special and it was absolutely delicious. The rest of the food was also excellent. All in all, we had a delicious lunch.

The heating was very weak in December, ordering and payment was done electronically, the food was excellent, the portion size was adequate, the flavors were spicy but harmonious. I would go back.

Restaurant with great value for money. It's a great place to satisfy your craving for Korean food. I thought the portion of rice could be bigger and the food could be hotter.

I ate here this Saturday for dinner, the food was delicious especially the stir-fried noodles with vegetables, I can say that the chicken is one of the best I've ever eaten! Even though it was quite crowded, everything arrived very quickly!

I stumbled across this place randomly while walking on the street but I gotta say I have had the best bibimbap and classic chicken at this restaurant. It was very delicious! Will definitely consider coming back.

Very casual setting, not loud but still lively. Had super good experience with their food. We were group of 3 and tried different things. I absolutely loved my bimbimbap and had a bite of japchae which was absolutely amazing!

We enjoyed our food: a kimchi-jeon starter and two dolsot bibimbaps, one vegetarian and one with meat. The starter was delicious. The bibimbap was nice: personally I missed some spinach and/or some leafy greens on my veggie bibimbap and I wished the gochujang had been a little spicier.

Korean fried chicken was fireeeee (would have appreciated the basic white rice already included with the chicken seen the price but it's ok)

Halal korean fried chicken (KFC) restaurant. I love the japchae more than the KFC though. It's nice, boneless, huge portion of KFC, and the price is more on the pricier side compared to other KFCs in NL that I have been to. Not sure if it is because of Amsterdam price. It was pretty empty during lunchtime on Saturday, they have a lot of available seats.

The food is just ok in Amsterdam standard. First you need to use the qr code to order food, it seems there are no other options. The price is not too high. But the food is not as good as other Korean restaurants. The pot rice is just a little dried but not crispy, I mean the edge of the rice should be a little crispy. There are not enough fresh vegetables or Kimchi as toppings. And the sauce is not spicy at all. The rice roll is not good either.

The Classic Fried Chicken was very tough and strong. Too much garlic and soy clashed with the sweetness. The Kimchi Bokumbab fried rice with a fried egg looked better than it tasted. A bit overhyped and overpriced. I won't be returning to these dishes.

I liked the overall experience. I had never tried Korean food, and I realized that it has its own particularity. It is different from other Asian cuisines and very delicious too. We ate plenty and didn't feel heavy afterwards, super healthy and light, plus a good flavor. Excellent attention too.

First of all food the food is good. I went with my wife this morning since it was our day off trying to relax from our stressful week. Really nice place fast serving but the only complaint I have is. As we were ordering i was asking g a few questions about the since it was our first time food any recommendations etc but the waitress had an attitude and sometimes didn't answer and it seemed like she was having a rough time.

The bulgogi had barely any meat in it and it was 70% rice and the place was so cold inside two weeks ago when I visited. They don't have heating. The food was tasty though.

Service was nice and quick. The ambiance was okay. The food is not the best but not the worst.

I had a very good meal here, this is highly recommended for picky eaters. I asked for less vegetables in my noodles and they listened very carefully. I have rarely eaten such tasty chicken as theirs. I will definitely come here more often.
