Loved it. So many flavors. The only downside was that the non spicy option didn't have enough flavor for our tastes. Our server Sem was great and he made the soju tasting fun. ( We got five out of six right!!)

I went to the restaurant last Friday and the atmosphere was amazing, staff very friendly and food was delicious. We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky enough that there was a table available.I recommend visiting Soju bar. They have variety of options and it's totally worth the price!

Excellent experience at Sojubar Amsterdam! Everything was truly delicious: flavorful, well-prepared, and high-quality dishes. The restaurant is very clean, beautiful, and superbly decorated. The atmosphere is pleasant, and since it wasn't too crowded when we visited, it was even more enjoyable. The staff is lovely, smiling, and attentive. The Korean fried chicken is excellent (we tried three different kinds), as are the bibimbap, the chicken salad, and even the fries (which is worth mentioning!). They provide disposable gloves so we don't get dirty, which is great. The chicken is Halal! It's not the cheapest restaurant, but the value for money is definitely there, and it's well worth it. I highly recommend it!

A fantastic meal! This is the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had 🤤 The rice with vegetables and beef is also very good.

The food was very good. What I didn't like was being in the bathroom and seeing a kitchen employee come out without having removed his latex gloves to use the restroom, and only washing his hands with a little water while still wearing them. Those gloves are supposed to be for hygiene. Are they really that expensive that you have to take them off and put on clean ones after using the restroom?

They had a good crowd but we were fortunate that a table was available. Service was amazingly quick. Food was great. Reminded us of a favorite place in Incheon. Nice place for our last dinner in Amsterdam before flying out.

We found this gem while walking to another restaurant and decided to take a detour inside. We split the honey butter chicken and the Beef Bimibop. Everything was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was ultra busy but we still didn’t have to wait more than 5 mins for a table. A good choice of protein dishes. We went with a selection of drumsticks, bipimap and kimbap. Portions are huge. We couldn’t finish. Beer and cocktails were also good.

Food was great , soju bucket was so worth it, and Yuria was absolutely amazing and so sweet! She deserve all the love! She treated our group with such care and grace, definitely an amazing asset to this restaurant! Will definitely come back with my flight crew again and look for Yuria! We got more bottles of Soju from her light and energy.

The place had great energy! The Korean Fried Chicken, Yum Yum Yum! Best decision to try this restaurant! Was so excited, forgot to take pictures. Three persons, 3 servings of wings, 1 fries, 1 beverage each, 68 Euros! For the taste, a bargain! Service was excellent! Friendly staff! Food took a short while to be served. They are well organized with waiting list and keep you informed on wait time.

If you're looking for an average chicken restaurant, Sojubar is for you. However, if you're looking for a restaurant that respects you, doesn't forget your order, and doesn't force you to pay the bill all at once, then Sojubar is the place to go!!!! The least pleasant restaurant in Amsterdam.

We were seated very quickly and ordering was very easy. There was a very short wait for food and staff were very attentive despite it being busy. There was a nice and comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely be back again!

Very nice food , kind staff , fast service

Generous portions and everything is delicious. We ordered chicken with soy sauce, chicken with cheese, and honey chicken. The fries with cheese are also very tasty. If you like fried chicken or Korean food, you absolutely must stop by when you're in Amsterdam.

The place and environment is really really nice, also the crew is really polite and let you feel welcome. My personal opinion about the chicken: Chemical chicken and sauces too present, at the end when you eat it you only feel the taste of the sauces that almost disgust you from how much they put, seems like “ chicken sauce” not chicken in sauce. Chemical chicken to say that the wings are huge, they almost look like turkey. Overall I was positive about the place and the vibe but disappointed with the food. Also proves to expensive, 12 wings 22€…

The best Korean fried chicken spot! The place is an absolute vibe, it’s like a bar restaurant with really cool lights. And of course the fried chicken itself is just superb, especially the soy garlic sauce one highly recommend!

Delicious food. Beautifully presented. Friendly service. Best chicken ever!! And all at a very reasonable price.

Plenty of options for flavors and dips. Also delicious side dishes. The fries with cheese and onion powder are especially recommended! Service is fast and friendly. It's a good idea to make a reservation, as it can get very busy. They're also wheelchair-friendly. Plastic gloves are available so you can eat the chicken without getting your hands dirty.

We really enjoyed the soju shot. Unfortunately, the main course was sorely lacking in flavor. For a restaurant specializing in chicken, that's a shame. I discovered soju thanks to this restaurant, and it's become my favorite spirit.

The food was great, our table was still quite greasy and some of the server were not the friendliest. We are not from Europe and my wife had asked about the Cassis soft drink - server just raised an eyebrow instead of explaining what kind of softdrink it was and said "It's Cassis.."

Friend chicken and beer. That's exactly what you should go there for. No special dishes, just well-prepared crispy chicken. The go-to version is really spicy, while the sauce itself is quite good. The rice cake sticks are highly recommended. Nice place that delivers what it promises.

It says online that the kitchen is open until 10 but they close earlier so don't come because they won't give you any food.

The team here is super friendly and genuinely cares about every single person who walks through the door — you can feel it instantly. And the wings? Unbelievable. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with pride. If you love great food and great people, this place is a must-visit.

Came for an early lunch while visiting in Amsterdam. Wowza what a fantastic little spot. If you're a lover of chicken wings this is the place to come. Korean style chicken were absolutely amazing possibly some of the best I've had. On top the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend! I will be returning again when visiting.

So disappointed about this place. At first we thought the fried chicken was pretty good (but expensive, you can find better for a cheaper price). But then we went home and both got sick. Also, when we were there we had some food left and wanted a doggy back, they gave us a small carton box and charged us 5,50 euros for it, without informing us. All of that for nothing since the food made us sick, we didn't want any more of it. I do not recommend.

We've always had a great meal here, but on November 22nd, it was truly awful. The amount of sauce was excessive, the chicken was swimming in it, and the cold chicken was truly awful! My daughter's ice cream was tasteless. It tasted like shavings of ice.

After having a wonderful meal last year, we thought we'd go again. What happened here? There were four of us, and we were immediately served cheeseballs (a starter), fries, and two main courses, one of which was simply cold. We returned them, of course. The other two main courses were on their way, the now irritated staff said. Finally, when three of us had finished our main courses, the reheated dish was returned. With extra sauce on top, you couldn't even get it out of the bowl with your glove. What a mess. Three desserts, people, believe me, don't do it. A bowl of shaved ice and something that was supposed to resemble mango. The mango looked like uncooked sweet potato or something, rock hard. It had no flavor, it was completely useless. Rarely worth the price of an Oreo; it was tasteless. The Coke Zero and the beer were good, though.

I unfortunately need to take my previous review back. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over a year now, and while the food is still great, I can’t say the same about the service anymore. The last three times I visited, I noticed several recurring issues. Since it’s a chain, the speed difference between dishes is very noticeable. The chicken comes out within minutes, but the rice and other sides always arrive extremely late. Two times I even received my sides after I had already finished my chicken. Even when I asked multiple times, some sides never arrived at all, or parts of my order were simply missing. The staff also seems a bit lost and not very welcoming. Even when I come with my family, a simple smile or friendly attitude would go a long way. The food is amazing, but the overall structure and service definitely need improvement. With better coordination and friendlier service, this place could be perfect again.

The chicken was excellent, especially the soy garlic version. The rice was also very good. However, they stop serving at 10 PM, so don't rely on the opening hours. Furthermore, the service was mediocre: the waiter was pushy, and they only offered tiny glasses of water if you asked for it.

Came here with a group of ten — which usually means chaos, noise, and someone forgetting their order. But SojuBar handled us like pros. The place is super spacious (rare in Amsterdam, where most restaurants panic when you say “table for four, please”). The fried chicken? Absolute star of the show. Crispy, juicy, and available in more flavors than my group could agree on — so naturally, we ordered all of them. Every sauce was a banger, from sweet to spicy to “why did I think I could handle this?” levels. Prices were reasonable too, which is dangerous because now I have no excuse not to come back. Great food, great space, and great chaos — the ideal group dinner combo. 🍗🍶

A superb spot in Amsterdam. The kitchen closes at 10 pm, so don't be late. The servers are excellent and attentive. The chicken is delicious, as is the small salad. Highly recommended!

Super fast service. We went there without a reservation, but after we left we saw a very long queue. We tried sweet chilly which was 10/10. The cheese ones were not so good though.

Food there is genuinely so good. There are only a couple of places that get me hyped about food and this is one of them. Service was also soo nice. One of the workers there, Joey, brings such a nice presence to the place. Actual legend Deffo would recommend
