Restaurant Khan in Buitenveldert-Oost

All the dishes were deliciously seasoned. The sauce for the yukhoe was exquisitely sweet. The stone-grilled bibimbap was piping hot. The waiter told me that I could add lettuce and miso sauce for the samgyeopsal, so I ordered more twice. This is definitely a restaurant I'd like to visit again.

One of the best Korean restaurants in the Netherlands. Nothing over the top modern design or blasting k-pop but just really good food. Would definitely recommend. 😁

Il you come alone for diner, you will not be accepted even if there is room in the restaurant. I was in business travel and I wanted to eat Korean food for reminder my last holidays in south Korea. I was very disappointed by the host of this restaurant and the boss mindset. That changed my opinion about the south Korean careness. That's life🙇‍♂️

Korean BBQ is always a treat, and so are all the other dishes. Grilled mackerel is a favorite. Side dishes are deliciously varied, and kimchi is always delicious. The interior is anything but hyper-modern, but it's cozy and so pleasant! And the food is amazing! I've been coming here since 2007. I've seen many different Korean restaurants over the years, and this one remains a favorite. Because I no longer live in Amsterdam, I haven't been there as much in the last few years, but luckily I've been back a few times recently, and it remains fantastic! The lady is in the kitchen. The gentleman is at the front. Reservations are recommended. On busy days, I often see people unfortunately having to eat elsewhere because they're fully booked, and that's understandable! Always such a wonderful experience!

If you are Korean, I recommand to try SEA FOOD CHIGE & CHUNG KUK JANG. Chung kuk jang tastes real original one!!

My favourite Korean restaurant in the Netherlands! The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Last thursday I came here with my mom, who had never tried korean food, and she enjoyed it as well!! I love coming back whenever I can :)

These days, Korean food is popular, so I think it was better because it was a traditional European Korean restaurant than the many global fusion Korean restaurants that have opened up. And the pork belly and kimchi stew were really delicious…

This place is located in a block of Korean restaurants, I think around 5, one of them is all you can eat. This one tho looks like a family-run business. Modest, small, not loud, the menu was quite extensive and most importantly, the taste was authentic! We ordered the kimchi chigae and rib soup, freshly made and yum! Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely come back. Please reserve in advance.

Both the inside of the restaurant and the kitchen were clean, so I was able to eat with peace of mind about cleanliness. The owner and staff were very friendly. I ate fried chicken, sea bream, and soft tofu stew, and the food tasted better than the taste I get in Korea. It was a dish that showed the chef's sincerity in making it. For alcohol, I had a Dutch ale instead of Heineken, and it was really delicious.

Erg smakelijk bereid allemaal, porties zijn prima, bediening is vriendelijk maar erg nonchalant. De prijzen op de website zijn niet accuraat, alles is fiks duurder. De huidige prijzen vind ik buiten verhouding hoog, hoe smakelijk bereid ook, de ingrediënten zijn niet van hoge kwaliteit (diepvries seafood, ongefermenteerde "kimchi", taai rundvlees verwerkt tot flinterdunne reepjes, en zo meer), daar mag je niet de hoofdprijs voor vragen. En de vijftien procent fooi die we contant gaven verdween na een snelle blik of er een collega keek, snel diep in de broekzak. Leuk om eens kennis te maken met deze keuken, niet iets om naar terug te keren.

Authentic Korean dishes. But a bit pricy.

Finally we are able to dine here as it was always fully booked when we called for reservations. The bossam are really good especially when we eat with those sauces, side dish and fresh salad. The pork bbq set is quite satisfying as meat is coming in good quality and no strong smell (that I usually smell it with the pork in NL). The kimchi chige tastes standard good and it will never go wrong in any Korean restaurant if they know how to cook it. The octopus stir fried comes in big portion but we find it’s too sweet for us when you keep eating. The staffs are serviced mind, attentive and willing to assist you.

I packed an egg bun fried noodles with a lot of pickles. It’s kinder than the Korean food next door. I love it😍

fantastic restaurant. Real Korean food. This restaurant was recommended to us by a Korean acquaintance. We can certainly recommend it. You can also order vegetarian dumplings, which are delicious. The service is Korean and very friendly. It's better to make a reservation in advance, because it was completely full. We would love to come back again.

Good restaurant for Korean food! We had the soondubu jjigae and the yuk ke jang. Both were really good. The soondubu jjigae was really filling and it had a a lot of tofu! The yuk ke jang with its tender beef was great too. We finished the day with some Melona ice creams. I will be back to try out the other type of dishes!👋

The best traditional Korean in the Netherlands for years. Owners are extremely friendly and always try to make you happy.

The food is extremely good. High quality and affordable. The atmosphere is cafe-ish, but you also want to eat this kind of comfort food in a more “simple” setting.

Don’t come here. Staff start to avoid customer at 9:10pm even they are operating until 10pm.

Three good Korean restaurants that have been close to each other for over 20 years. At Khan you can enjoy authentic Korean food. If you want to get acquainted with REAL Korean cuisine, skip the all-you-eat barns and come here to enjoy authentic dishes.

I went on a Friday evening without a reservation, and even though it was full, they let me sit down and eat there. The staff were all very friendly, and they kept apologizing for the delay in cooking due to a backlog of orders as the restaurant was fully booked, so it felt like a burden. The food is delicious.

Really nice Korean restaurant! Food was really good and we will definitely visit the restaurant again. Staff was super friendly. We had done some grocery shopping before having our dinner and staff was kind enough to store some of our cold products in their fridge.

Best Korean restaurant in town!

When I was watching a Korean drama, I suddenly wanted to eat tteokbokki. Sweet and spicy tteokbokki!! I was satisfied. The spiciness was a bit too much for someone like me, but it was very delicious. I finished a bottle of makgeolli for the first time in a while. The street parking in front of the store was full, but when I entered the alley in the residential area, there was a space and I was able to park right away. Next time, I would like to come with a large group and order this and that.

We are regulars here and this place has some amazing Korean food and the staff are really lovely! Very cosy little place with a nice ambience:) it’s usually pretty booked on weekends so you need to book it in advance!

We visited this restaurant 3 weeks ago, the food is fresh, typical korean dish. Recommended their Seafood pancake & Meat BBQ. Not many options for deserts. Inside there are few tables and seats, make sure you made an reservation, normally drop by doesn't get a table.

We reserved a table a day before—and thankfully did that because on the day we arrived, they were fully booked. So it’s better to reserve. We ordered pork bulgogi, kimchi pancake, yukkejang and fried chicken. The first three were delicious and flavorful, but the fried chicken wasn’t up to the standard of the other dishes. It was a bit bland and not crispy. However the other dishes we ordered were so delicious, and were so satisfying.

This area has a lot of Korean restaurants. We just walked in this one without plan or reservation. It is a small and cozy place with not many seats. We ordered the Korean hot pot and Japanese style fried chicken. The hot pot has instant noodles, tofu, kimchi, pork slices, and is served with 2 bowls of rice. Very good and warm food for a cold weather.

Very small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation! Boiled dumplings were ok, nothing special. Samgyupsal had to be ordered per person, with a minimum of 2 persons. It was grilled at the table, very good! Loved the jjajiangmyun! Tasted exactly how it should be.

Beste Koreaans restaurant waar ik heb gegeten in Nederland !! Heerlijk eten, goede bediening en aangename sfeer. Het restaurant oogt een beetje als een huiskamer qua formaat en is minimalistisch ingericht; niet te druk en een beetje franje van wat schilderijen. Bediening is netjes, correct en kan met je meedenken over de menukeuze. De keuken is superbe! We hebben wel eens Koreaans gegeten, maar in Nederland stelde het toch altijd wel wat teleur. Nou, hier niet!! Bij Khan moet je reserveren, er komen veel Aziaten (altijd een teken dat het goed is en niet te duur) en dat merk je aan het eten 😋😋😋😋. Een AANRADER ‼️‼️
