Really blody delicious! The staff kind of lost parts of the order, but as soon as we asked it was there. The food is really tasty!!! Maybe a bit more spicy, but oeffffffd that chicken is sooooo crunchy and tasty.

The atmosphere is nice and the service is fast. But I didn't taste anything.

The tteokbokki and fried chicken were just average. The sauce seemed to be taken directly from the jar and mixed in with the rice cakes and fried chicken, so it tasted separately and was not as delicious as I expected. The spicy beef soup was pretty good, though, japchae was also okay.

Small and cosy Korean restaurant. I had dinner here yesterday and ordered the Gimbab (Korean rice roll), which surprised me in the most incredible way. The portion was generous and packed with flavour. I also tried the Korean honey & garlic fried chicken, super tender and creamy, with amazing flavours. A little spicy, but nothing I couldn’t handle. The service was quick and friendly, and I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Had a cold Cass beer to go with it, perfect combo!

Really nice place for Korean style fried chicken! Came here for some takeaway, we both ordered a portion of the fried chicken. The Chicken was juicy, the batter perfectly crispy, the sauce was delicious and for the price, we got a lot of chicken. While waiting we saw some of the other dishes they offer come by, They also looked very good, definitely check this place out!

I went with a group of friends, and everyone, young and old, was satisfied with the meal. Since it's a Korean-run place, the food was delicious, and everyone was satisfied with the variety of textures. My friends all said it was delicious, so I was proud of myself. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Korean food! 🥰 I'll be back again next time❣️

edit: update 2025. they had a lunch set menu and some new dishes (soups)! I ordered the non spicy soup and definitely different from what I normally have in Korea (but it might just be because I've never had the same soup before). The amount of meat was very generous but the soup was quite sweet. edit: came back in july 2022 (after covid), place was pretty much same as before and I believe you can make reservations. Ordered a bibimbap - it was nice but I felt like it wasnt hot enough. great authentic korean food. most were snack type foods (fried chicken, toppokki, kimbap etc.) but they also serve bibimbap and japchae. Food was good but restaurant is a bit small and busy so sometimes there might be a short wait.

Yesterday i did a pickup of sweet chicken, rice and tofu roll and kimchi. Kimchi was not tasty, chilli flakes in excess and no good taste. Tastes only like vinegar. Chicken was good but quantity keeps getting less. Also we found 2 short hair in our rice. Seems like hair of a man. Very disappointing. I paid €40.

So delicious, authentic, and filling! The best Korean food. Highly recommended. Not an over-the-top restaurant, but more of a snack bar atmosphere with folding tables outside. However, it's very family-friendly, and the quality of the food is highly recommended.

Very pleasant place for good Korean food. I like ordering in but you can also take out. I highly enjoy the dolsot bibimbap and their fried chicken. Prices are aberrant for Amsterdam.

It says they are open until 20:30 on Sunday went all the way there to arrive at 20:10 for take away to be told they actually close at 20:00 so be aware.

Absolutely delicious food! We got the fried chicken with rice, Bibimbab, Taedbokkis and more, it was really tasty. Very good service too and great location :)

The crispy chicken is well-seasoned. The bibimbap tastes fresh. Unfortunately, the kimbap is no longer served with sauce (a vinegar dressing?).

The Bibimbap unfortunately was very disappointing. No Kimchi, you have to order that on the side…very bland, and such a small portion of meat! I don’t see the hype, sorry

OK after leaving from the hotel we didn’t realize it was 45 minutes to walk to this place, but it was worth every bit. The food is unbelievable. We ordered the classic fried chicken and I don’t know what the sauce was but the best I’ve ever had.

Ordered the bibimbab on Uber Eats and the portions were a joke. 80% boiled rice, 18% veggies and 2% meat. Packed into a teeny tiny bowl. The fried chicken was the wrong order and icky sweet. We won't make the mistake of ordering from here again.

Best Kimchi Fried Rice I’ve ever had — and I lived in Korea for two years! The heat (spice) is just right, and the addition of bacon (optional) is genius.

We ordered the beef soups. It was okay but I wondered how they made the broth as it tasted like from ready-made powder stock. The proportion of beef meat, mushrooms and noodles could be better (too much noodles plus a bowl of rice, little protein and veggie. It's a carb party). The restaurant space is full of cartons and boxes and whatnot. It looks like they are still in the process of moving in and setting up the business. Messy atmosphere. The staff there were kind. The chef was a kind-hearted lady. I truly appreciate their genuine kindness and personality. Perhaps I visit again and try a different dish next time!

If you can’t finish your food, you need to pack by yourself the food for take away, even the staff not busy , they will just give you box and pack your own food.

With a lot of sadness I take one star off my previous review as the Amsterdam money-grubbing disease has arrived here too. Charging 3.90 for 3.5 pieces of (just ok) kimchi, without free refills, is just so anti-Korean it spoiled my mood completely. The ddukbegi was good but now comes in a smaller bowl, very oily, few veggies, and way more noodles to try and fool you into fullness. What used to leave us with leftovers now juust covered it. At 40 bucks each that's a ripoff. I hope they come back to their senses, but for now I don't feel like going back or recommending it as I did anymore. I'm sad.

I ordered stir-fried rice cakes and classic fried chicken, which I personally think are quite delicious (a little sweet at the end if you eat alone). But the chairs at the bar are not very comfortable to sit on.

Took an age to come despite restaurant being empty and staff feeding themselves during my wait. I was a lone diner, so was particularly annoying. The fried chicken was very dry and stringy, I couldn’t bite through some sections. Felt like it was old or something. Staff very inattentive - infact I’m still sat here with unfinished food on my plate with cutlery in the finished position and they haven’t said anything. Apologised for it being late before they served but that’s it. I hadn’t brought it to their attention it was late but still . Didn’t even top my water up and you couldn’t self fill. Flavours were good though. Kimichi pancake was both soggy and crispy at the same time - not sure if it’s meant to be like that though. Server finally came to me after I got their attention. Told them it wasn’t great. They asked if they could give me a soft drink - they did this when it was first late too bit didn’t say anything about it being compensation. They weren’t that sympathetic either. I declined and left. Probably should have asked for the cost of a drink to be removed from my bill…

Food options are much less than before Only very simple snacks The spicy fried rice cake doesn't taste very good and is hard. The huge seafood pancakes that we used to have are gone. And the menu is not friendly to people who don’t understand Korean. The name of the dish only has the English spelling in Korean but no English explanation. People who don’t understand can’t tell which bibimbap is beef and which is vegetarian (the words used in the explanation of the ingredients under the dish name are still in Korean)

Delicious Korean food. We had the hot Bibimbab and the Korean Fried Chicken. Both were really great. The chicken is highly recommended, the tastiest chicken I have eaten in a long time. It's also nice that they have cans of coke instead of those mini bottles. We regularly come back here because it is great.

The allergy symbols indicated on the card do not correspond to reality. When ordering a gluten free dish, the response was that there were no gluten free options. The waiter said that there was 1 option, by omitting many ingredients in a dish, but he actually does not recommend that. Which means I couldn't eat anything while I was going to eat there with my friends. I asked if they could put something together, but there was no such flexibility. Too bad, because there were many options to incorporate alternatives into the dish, which were on the menu and could certainly be made with a little flexibility. I then wonder how fresh everything is made if gluten is already included in everything...

I had the Korean chicken, the kimchi, gimbap and some beer. The food was extraordinarily good, and the waitress was extraordinarily beautiful. Although of course I was too shy to tell her that.

The food was delicious I went for the chicken and it was the nicest Korean food I've ever had. It wasn't too busy at lunch time but you hsve to queue for dinner it is well worth the wait though.

Lovely food and lovely staff. It's definitely a great place to try some Korean dishes. There is not a huge choice of dishes but enough to get you to fall in love.

The restaurant is situated in a relatively quiet area so it was nice to get out of the bustle of the city. Overall the entrance and aroma is really welcoming. The scent of their fried chicken was overwhelmingly good. So that enticed me to order their classic fried chicken with a bowl of rice. About 12 mins later I was served, I was extremely hungry so I went straight in for it however unfortunately I noticed not 1 but 2 strands of hair in my fried chicken. (Main reason for me giving 3/5 for the food) I informed my friendly waitress about it and she without hesitation offered me a new order. I definitely think I was unlucky with this and I was very satisfied with the concern and attentiveness to my issue from the staff. Within 10 mins, I was served a fresh batch of fried chicken and a bowl of rice and it was delicious. I am sharing my experience not to undermine this restaurant but to show that they took full accountability for the issue and swiftly dealt with it. They even at the end offered me a discount for the inconvenience. So in conclusion, I enjoyed my overall experience, just hope that this doesn’t happen to any other customers again.

Crampy restaurant with very bad extractor hood. because of this the restaurant is very humid. Seats on the side are fixed and not made for tall Dutch. Service is limited as they have a lunch meny with a soft drink you cannot exchange the softdrink for a tea or coffee. Sorry my boss ... They are very friendly though. The food is good, but not too special for the price.

Love the food here. I’m not very familiar with the Korean cuisine, but I know the food here tastes really good. The spicy Japchae had the perfect level of spice for me and was very tasty. The dumplings were also delicious.

How would Dutches be surprised if they visit South Korea and eat the real better quality Korean food at more than half price. This was low quality Korean food at high price to me as a Korean.

The fried chicken was a bit too sweet and fattier than expected. The bibimbap and chicken mantu were good. Service was friendly and good. Prices are slightly high.

I really like their lunch deal with a deep fried Korean chicken. I also tried the glass noodles soup that is their limited addition. The flavors are nice and rich. The stuff was attentive. This place is always busy. One drawback from this location is most probably you going to smell like garlic and oil.

Food tasted good, but vegetarian just means they don't add the meat and nothing instead, but let you pay the same price.

Def not what it used to be. The quality of the food has gotten worse over time. The chicken was super chewy and not even covered in the sauce. The pancake was barely fried and mushy. The chapchae was OK. Rice was OK, but the portions are smaller now. To be fair, for the price I expected more.

It's fine for what it is, but for the love of God, don't be so stingy with the sauces for your fried chicken. Sometimes the chicken is only slightly coated by the sauce, which is really a shame in my opinion. With more sauce it's easily 4.5 stars. This way, it's only 3.5

Restaurant is a bit small and can feel very uncomfortable especially at busy times. Parking is also difficult as it is located in the heart of Amsterdam. But the food compensates for this enormously. I came all the way from Haarlem to eat here. Definitely worth 6 stars!

The atmosphere was very nice, clean, and the service was very friendly, but the food was disappointing. I ordered three dishes: japchae, fried chicken, and kimchi fried rice. The fried chicken was okay, but what happened to the japchae? It was so salty that it was hard to eat. Even when I got home, my mouth hurt; It was even more disappointing that my Dutch friend who went with me said he couldn't eat it because it was too salty. I don't think I'll ever go back, but everything is good except the food, so I hope the food improves.

Good little place in East to satisfy your craving for Korean (fast) food - their Korean sweet fried chicken is really good, but make sure to take a side of coleslaw with it - the sauce and the crunch on that is a great compliment to the savory fried chicken!

Overall good experience, wouldn’t recommend ordering the gimbap if you’re on first date. Those giant rolls are not easy to eat in one bite, looks barbaric lol.

The vegan Bibimbap (which I asked) was the same price as the one with meat but it didn't had anything that was a version for the meat or that have anything different than the other one. Same price for the same taking out the meat.

Had a good time here. ordered bibimbap with bulgogi and japchae with veg. Both are good. Friendly staff who helped use adjust to mild spicy which was a plus!
