KFC in Wijk 00 Schipluiden

I visited this KFC branch for the first time with a friend; we ordered a Boneless Bucket. This includes 10 Crispy Tenders, 2 medium Popcorn Chicken, 2 medium fries, and 2 dipping sauces. We also indicated that we wanted extra fry sauce, but they forgot, and we had to pay extra for it after waiting 10 to 15 minutes. The quality of the food is generally good, and it is a fairly new branch in a new location, with plenty of parking, trash cans, and other facilities.

The meat is not halal. There are nearly 2 billion Muslims, and the fact that this has not been taken into account to date is something I find reprehensible. Furthermore, I asked the lady working at the checkout if I could ask a question. I was told to wait a moment in an unfriendly manner. Not recommended!

Ordered and paid for 8 wings, received 6. Unforgivable.

Beware of fake reviews!!! This branch must be closed. They don't know what hygiene is here, and what does "work" even mean? The average waiting time for your food is 30 minutes if you are the only customer. Raw chicken, stale fries.

Went today with our kids. Our little daughter is a picky eater, but no problem; the manager, staff member, and chef knew exactly what to do with her request, really super sweet!! The rest of the food was fresh, nice and hot, and tasty. The chicken was nice and crunchy! All in all, a solid 10!

Employees are genuinely incapable

Very poor quality hot wines and too little of them! You are being ripped off and discriminated against. Completely uninterested staff who, moreover, do not work cleanly! They handle dirty items and then touch your food with dirty hands! Worthy of an NVWA investigation! The phone is not answered either, so there is disrespect for the customer. I am taking action against this!

Ordered at 6, waited 45 minutes, only to be kicked out in the least friendly way I have experienced in years because they were closing in fifteen minutes. Fortunately, they came up with the good solution: we were allowed to eat it outside in the cold and drizzle.

Jesty is good worker and good personality

Employees often close the place earlier than intended. I've made a fool of myself a few times already by standing in front of a closed door.

I was craving KFC at 10:00 PM. It said everywhere (website and Google) that it was open, but it turned out to be closed by 7:00 PM. Normal opening hours are until midnight.

Was closed when it was supposed to be open

The restaurant had been closed for quite some time before it actually closed. It closed 2 hours earlier than the time indicated online, for both the restaurant and the drive-thru.

Every time I arrive here in the evening, it is always closed.

The restaurant was closed, even though Google said they were still open. It said they were open until 2:00 AM, but both the inside and the drive-thru were closed. Very bad. I called the location afterwards; the call was answered, but no one spoke and I only heard a murmur.

They close 3 hours before closing time every time. There are never any strips. Something wrong with the order every time. Seriously, something is wrong every single time.

22.13 closing chairs in front of the door takes an awfully long time. They really could do a lot about the staff here.

Well, great experience, walked around the Made for about an hour, waited for my food. If you want to get sick, come here; the people hardly speak Dutch.

It says that they’re open until 2 but I just got there and they said they’re closed. If you are closed at this hour (11pm) please fix your details and don’t put 2am as closing time.

Looks more like a haunted house

Waiting way too long for your order at KFC. Why can other fast food chains do it right?

This place needs proper management. On a Hot day the AC is broken. ordered online and order number is on The schreen.... Been waiting and waiting than they ask me what's your number.... Seems you need to report you arrived even after payment... not like McDonald's where products are made. My zinger burger was all Sauce, tiny chicken piece, Fries without Salt. Very poor performance. KFC needs management like McDonald's.

While the food at this KFC was good, the dining experience yesterday was highly uncomfortable. It was a hot day, and the air conditioning wasn't turned on. Between the crowd and the heat coming from the kitchen, the dining area became incredibly hot and suffocating.

They basically didn't have anything I wanted. They didn't have the original piece and the corn was out of stock too. Just nothing in stock. The staff was also really grumpy; I didn't like the tone they used at all. I also had to wait 10 minutes by the window just to pay, really abnormally slow. The service was bad and the person by the window just kept sighing and saying how tired she was. No smile, nothing at all.

I placed my order 20 minutes ago. 2 drinks, 2 burgers, 6 hot wings, and filet bites. Now I'm being told I have to wait at least another 10 minutes. For what? Service is SLOW, hygiene is substandard, and the staff, including the manager, are incompetent.

Man, what a pathetic place this is. It takes ages, everything is filthy. Never again.

The fries taste seriously terrible: lukewarm, limp, and chemical, and the salads? You should be utterly ashamed if you call this a salad!

It's not normal what kind of people work there. Money and going home is all they do for them. And their food, wow, it looks like people prepare it with hate.

Fast service coz not many guests

Truly a worthless place, rude drive-in attendant, extremely long wait for a small order, and then three-quarters of the order is incorrect as well. The food looks terrible too. If you want to leave feedback via QR code, you need a receipt. Guess what I didn't get from the staff? The receipt… Absolutely scandalous. Feel free to drive to another KFC if you have the time, because this branch is absolutely nothing…

They are structurally understocked. So this time I just went for a bucket of hot wings. There was something bad in it, because I felt pretty awful the night after. I just threw the rest of the bucket away, because I'm afraid of getting food poisoning again.

Even 1 star is too much for this KFC at the asylum seeker center. I can back up this statement: the staff speaks neither Dutch nor English. They look at you as if you’ve pooped on their heads. Furthermore, their opening and closing times are a complete myth, because the restaurant (if you can even call it that) is often simply closed an hour and a half to two hours before closing time. You then wait half an hour for 3 pieces of chicken, and even then you get the wrong order. You clearly indicate no bacon, and instead of extra cheese, you get extra bacon on your Zinger burger. They don't know what hygiene is; hairnets are useless because their hair sticks out—you can just barely see the dandruff falling. Best of all, this KFC has NO chicken more often than it DOES. The toilet stinks and looks even worse than a festival train coming from Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena on a Friday night. The staff acts super tough while they can't even speak standard Dutch or English. I think this staff was hired based on writing feedback. Instead of 6 free hot wings for feedback, they got a job. It is awful beyond words that a KFC like this exists. This is absolutely the last time I will come here. Instead of going to the drive-in 3 meters away, I’d rather catch fish in the ditch and cook myself; then I know the stench is even less than when you sit there and the toilet has just been used by a customer, because cleaning is a profession for them too (not).

Even if there were no food on earth, I still refuse to come and eat here. You can't even call the people walking around there staff. When you arrive, you have to hope they don't literally close an hour in advance. If you survive obstacle number 1, you have to hope that thing behind the counter can take an order properly. Forget speaking Dutch, and even my dog ​​speaks better English. Sign language is also an option. Survived obstacle number 2, and then you have to hope they have chicken at all. I've waited here longer than 20 minutes more often than not, and there isn't even any chicken. One thing is clear: you really shouldn't come here. You can't call this a restaurant or fast food. This is just trash. The toilets are always filthy and look like 20 people have pooped in them at the same time. Even a cemetery is a nicer place to go to the toilet than here. The stench comes straight out the door as soon as someone opens the communal toilet door. Lovely. Free dessert included. I get it, though, because if you’ve eaten here, you’ll fill your entire sewer. Instantly completely clogged. And I haven't even started talking about the tables yet. They don't know what cleaning up is. I think they’d rather you eat amidst other people's crumbs. I have never come across such a bad KFC. I’ve been to KFCs all over the world, and in third-world countries, it’s better than this branch. Employees scream at each other like chickens right in front of customers. By the way, hairnets are just a joke if half your hair is hanging out. The managers here work with their eyes closed, or they are just as bad, because this is a restaurant that’s a ten-times-puff-out mess.

This was the worst KFC I've ever experienced. The guy taking orders at the drive-thru claimed he didn't speak English, and nobody else was available to assist. I couldn’t believe it, so I went inside and was helped by a lovely lady who spoke perfect English. It turns out the order taker and the drive-thru cashier were the manager! I can't understand why someone with such poor skills would be a customer service employee at an international company! 😱 The lady was 5 stars service, but KFC should consider who is working at the cashier areas of the restaurant! And this isn't the first time buying here and witnessing these terrible aptitudes from him!

What a terrible fast food restaurant; our food took an hour to arrive, it was cold, and the sauce packets were impossible to open. And expensive too. We won't be coming back!

I placed an online order and paid in advance so I could pick it up quickly. The email stated that my order was ready for pickup. When I arrived, there was no one at the checkout and no one at the pickup counter. I even had to call out “hello” for someone to come and help. When someone finally arrived, it turned out that my order still needed to be prepared and I had to wait another 10 minutes. The whole point of ordering online is precisely that you don't have to wait. Very poor service.

I ordered but received 2 out of 5 items from my order. The man behind the counter got angry and thought I was lying, even though I had proof. Several people had this problem. I am definitely not coming back here.

We hadn't been for a long time due to bad service… and dry chicken. I finally enjoyed myself again after a long time. We will definitely come back when she is working.

3-week-old dog snack, not human food.

This is the place to go for a banana republic experience. After ordering, you wait an hour, ask multiple times without getting an understandable answer, and ultimately don't receive a complete order... It's great if you order as a group and only realize later that you're missing chicken, and dream about missing chicken. I'll keep an eye on the opening hours to know when to avoid this place.

I ordered online and picked up my order. At the location we waited more than an hour. When we checked our order we saw many items missing: 6 hotwings, fries and 2 drinks. The fries were dry, hard and not fresh at all. Worst KFC experience ever.

Incredibly slow staff waiting 15 minutes for my order even though there were hardly any people there. Orders placed later were suddenly placed earlier. It seems like the staff just don't feel like doing anything. Even in the barely-stocked store. I saw the uncleaned Coke on the floor. Definitely not recommended.

A friendly Polish young lady helped me politely and spoke politely. The food was good. But as is the case everywhere, a bit more expensive, €1 more than last time. So it tastes all the better 😉 I do have to drive half an hour each way. Because unfortunately, there's no KFC in my holiday village. It's so busy with holidaymakers, you'd expect a KFC in Hoek van Holland too. But alas. That's why I don't go to KFC often, maybe once a month. Otherwise, as a KFC chicken fan, I would have been at KFC every day if they had a restaurant in Hoek van Holland. So now I go once a month, half an hour there and half an hour back.

Good food. Didn't have to wait too long. I think KFC doesn't motivate their employees enough as they seem to go outside for breaks all the time. Also when I was ordering at the till an employee asked for some food for himself, the person serving me then told me to wait while she put the employees order in first...what?? Every time I've been here they've forgotten something on my order and then seem surprised when I ask for it... seems like the staff just can't be bothered. They also dont clean tables/floor here. You have to do this yourself. What makes it cringe is the manager going round asking people to give a good review. I even saw her helping someone make a review. Seriously. Just focus on giving the staff clear KPI's and the reviews will come themselves. I like the food just service and attitude sucks...
