Delicious, good quality of ingredients and amazing service!

Today I was able to experience the early bird menu. Fantastic flavors and delicious combinations. An extensive drinks menu with authentic Japanese delicacies. Highly recommended!

This wasn't a traditional omakase experience I was expecting, and I am glad I chose Kyatcha for it nonetheless. The attention to details, the freshness of the food, the masterful performance of the chefs and the staff was immaculate. This is a place to bring someone when you want to leave a lasting impression. Can't recommend enough. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Nice food, but charged 8 euros for a green tea, which is a tea bag in a pot.

Absolutely wonderful experience here, I ordered the Omakase (5 courses selected by the chefs) and absolutely loved it. You can definitely tell a lot of effort & thought went into all the dishes. The staff is also very helpful, friendly and professional. 10/10!

We made a reservation and received multiple confirmations, but they hadn't gotten through. It seems this is because we got a €50 discount. The kitchen closes at 9:30 PM, but we had an 8:00 PM reservation. So, we need to eat quickly.

Okay. It's understandable that everyone in this expat enclave only speaks English. But it's strange that you're already being asked for your order when you're barely seated. The main course follows the appetizer in rapid succession. The dishes are excellent. However, the prices are steep. The cheapest bottle of wine, nothing special, is €39. Lots of attention, little hospitality. But that doesn't seem like an insurmountable problem for an alert restaurateur.

I asked for take away. The web site is very good, with relistic pictures and description of the dishes. Super nice staff when picking up. The food is great, different to almost all the other sushi/Japanese take away options.

Loved the vibe of the restaurant. We were greeted at entrance and seated right away. From start to finish we were well taken care of. The omakase set was quite a journey. Also nice to hear that they switch it up from time to time. We had a great experience. That wasabi ice was amazing.

The location is okay. The service is good. The price is way too high for the quality. You'd expect much more for 100 per person.

After hearing very positive things about Kyatcha from friends, I was excited to visit and try their food but unfortunately left disappointed. The food was okay, but nothing special and it was extremely expensive. When we arrived, we ordered the Crispy Rice Tuna Tartar and Gyozas to have with a cocktail, the Wagu Old Fashioned and Lychee on a Cloud. The Crispy Rice Tuna Tartar was nice (the best thing I ate) and the Gyozas were okay, however, we finished these long before our drinks arrived as they took around half an hour to get to us. The Wagu Old Fashioned just tasted like a glass of Whiskey, not at all what I was expecting from the menu description and is in no way worth the 19 euros that it cost. The Lychee on a Cloud, on the other hand, was very nice. For our main set of sushi we started with Toro Tuna Sashimi, which is meant to be fatty and luxurious, but was just three pieces of normal thickly cut Tuna (this was extremely disappointing, as Toro is one of my favourite things). We also had Hamachi Triadito Shashimi, which was good with the interesting combination of other ingredients. For our main set of sushi we had the flambéed Salmon Nigiri which were the smallest Nigiri I've ever had, the King Oyster Mushroom Roll (which was my partners favourite), the Tempura Scallops and Spicy Tuna both of which were fine. We ordered the least expensive bottle of Sake, which was okay but I was expecting a larger bottle for 33 euro and it was served in wine glasses instead of Sake cups. Finally, we had the Yuzu Creme Brulee with Passion fruit sorbet. This was nice and refreshing, but the Brulee wasn't thick or cooked enough to have the snap you expect. The service overall was quite poor it. I feel like they were one or two staff short for how busy they were. Overall, for the prices Kyatcha are charging everything should be exceptional, however, my experience was average at best. I've been lucky enough to eat at 2 one Michelin starred restaurants this year and both cost less than my meal here, with some of the best things I've ever eaten. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Kyatcha, instead, go to one of many great sushi restaurants in The Hague, spend half as much money and eat just as good food.

We had dinner for two. I noted an allergy when making the reservation, which was communicated to the staff. It wasn't a very busy night. Service felt chaotic — we were asked for drinks and orders before even seeing a menu and had to request one ourselves. One of our first dishes seemed to be forgotten and arrived only after asking for it. The female staff were friendly, especially a new waitress from Japan who was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, several male staff members were loudly joking to each other, sometimes rudely and even about customers. After overhearing a joke about my allergy, I checked in with the staff/kitchen and was told they were just “being stupid.” No apology was offered, and as I walked away, I heard the two of them say to each other “je moet je bek houden” ("shut your face"). This made me feel uncomfortable and unsure whether my allergy was being taken seriously. Later, staff continued making silly voices and comments about guests after they had left. We felt sorry for the ladies and other staff members that didn't participate in this, since the loud ones seemed to have the upper hand. The food was tasty, but the portions were small and very expensive. We paid nearly 200 euro's and were still a bit hungry. For these prices you would expect much more.

We absolutely love coming to Kyatcha The Hague — the vibes are always spot on and the food is consistently amazing! Our go-to starters are the chili garlic oyster, beef tataki, and mixed sashimi — super fresh and full of flavor. For sushi, we always order the spicy tuna and the incredible wagyu beef sushi. When it comes to mains, we’re huge fans of the wagyu ribeye and miso black cod — both are must-tries! Service is truly 100/100, and we want to give a big shoutout to Ndeborah and Evelin for their warm and outstanding hospitality. You two make the experience extra special every time! Highly recommend for anyone who loves great Japanese food with a premium touch. 🌸🍣

We really enjoyed the fresh products, the hospitality and the delicious cocktails. The oysters, the gyoza shrimp and the accompanying garnishes were our fave. As a main course we ordered salmon which was cooked perfectly for the price could have had a bit more garnish. For dessert we ordered the crème brulee, very tasty not too sweet only the lemon ice cream was not a good combination. Next time we will try the location in Rotterdam.

Upon entering, I was welcomed by the host, who immediately said after checking my name: “You have until 8:30 PM.” When I indicated that this was correct, he added: “A lot of people overlook it, so that’s why I mentioned it.” I thought that was a somewhat strange way to start the first contact with a guest; it felt quite businesslike and rushed. For a restaurant in this higher segment, where you consciously pay a bit more for the total experience, the atmosphere, the service, the details, you don’t really expect to be tied to a strict time slot. Precisely because so much attention is paid to the service, such as changing plates per course and continuously refilling water, it feels strange that you have to finish everything within 90 minutes. Furthermore, the evening was really great: the atmosphere was pleasant, the service friendly and the food of high quality. Only I noticed that I looked at my phone a few times to check how much time we had left and whether we could order something. That took away a bit of the peace from the experience for me. Hopefully something can be done about that in the future, because otherwise it was really enjoyable!

This restaurant has been one of my favorite sushi experiences while traveling abroad. The fish was fresh and did not tasty fishy. The staff was friendly, welcoming ans professional. The drinks were also delicious. I think the star of our dinner was the king oyster roll. We had to order it more than once because it was incredibly tasty and rich in flavor. I have never tried a sushi roll with mushroom in it before, so this was a new experience. Do yourself a favor and order it. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting the area and are craving a good sushi.

After a pregnancy I couldn't eat sushi for a long time and I really wanted something tasty. This was fan-tas-tic..!! Unfortunately it wasn't possible to come and eat physically so we had to take away but even that was really an experience. Thank you for the beautiful food there was real love in it. This was our first time next time we will eat in the restaurant :)

The food and service are good overall, but the reason I have given 2 is their attitude towards allergies: 1) They don't have an allergy list. I asked for the gluten-free items on the menu, and they said, "Just tell us what you want to eat, and we will confirm with the kitchen if it can be made gluten-free or not." While many of the dishes could be made GF, it was annoying to have this back and forth with the kitchen. An allergy list is quite standard now, and it would help so many customers! 2) This is a more serious issue - they did not inform me in time that the wasabi they are using in the restaurant contains gluten. It's a shame, because while they were careful about getting me gluten-free soy sauce, they still put the wasabi on our sushi plate, and did not inform me that I should avoid it. In many places, wasabi is gluten-free, so I ate it, and much later, one of the staff members came and told me that this wasabi has gluten. The kitchen staff's reaction here was very arrogant. They did not apologise and implied that I should have known that wasabi contains gluten. I found this quite rude. No remorse on their part, even though I told them that celiac disease is a medical condition. This makes me concerned if they were taking any precautions for preventing contamination or not..

I order a box, it was very tasty. I would love if they have a box with toro and sake hara aburi in it!

Food allergy reported 5 times, before and after each round. Still, 4 out of 5 courses went wrong. Unique achievement.

Very friendly service and the atmosphere is also nice but it is very expensive. 4 pieces of sushi for €15 is simply out of proportion. It is beautifully served and it is tasty, but the main price is what you pay. The drinks also very pricey. I had a gift card for €100 and had to pay an additional €100 for the total bill. This is for two people and we have kept it very limited. It is not recommended to come here, but keep the high prices in mind.

Lunch. Very tasty, mostly. Price-quality not quite right, details could be better. But also surprising. Bring a full wallet.

Ended up here with the new American Express menu. Nice neighborhood, friendly welcome and given a table. Explanation of the menu, the purpose of the restaurant, etc. Nice menu, interesting things. Good food, good whisky, good service. Definitely come back here again.

Plaats tafel slecht uitgelicht. Advies bediende: Gebruik je telefoon maar om de menu kaart te lezen. Bediening spreekt geen Nederlands en de taal (welke?) die ze wel sprak was voor ons niet te verstaan. Hier rekening mee houdend was onze ervaring qua gerechten dusdanig dat we hier zeker terugkomen. Hulde aan de keuken brigade. Mooie verse gerechten. Dus de mindere punten zijn bestemd voor het restaurant maar moet niemand tegenhouden bij Kyatcha te gaan dineren.

Very good meal. The salmon gruyere and the gyu truffle sushi were favorites, but actually everything was fantastic. Only the iberico honey soy was a little less. I will definitely come back here!

We had wanted to eat here for a long time and tonight the time had come. We had a delicious meal. Surprising flavor combinations and food worthy of a Michelin star. And we were amazed at how big the portions were compared to similar restaurants! The slightly more informal atmosphere suits us perfectly and this also ensured that we had a lot of laughs with the staff. See you soon!

What a dinner experience, starting with a Maguro Sashimi, it was delicious, I ordered two rolls, my favorite was the shrimp tempura, highly recommended. Had also a plumb wine, sweet and tasty. Will definitely come back. Thank you for the service and the token of appreciation.

The warm greeting of 2 foreigners to what I would describe as mainly an upper end local restaurant started the night off with a bang. The gentleman that takes care of the customers helped us through the menu, he did not force a thing on us, but did spark our curiosity about the Waygu from their farm in Japan. I have enjoyed American Waygu, but the flavor of their Waygu was a cut above all that I have had in the past. Then there was the magical oysters in a panko like covering. The flavor was spectacular. My wife does not enjoy raw fish, so we defaulted to the cooked eel plus foir gras. Even the wine by the glass was enjoyable.

Had a great meal at Kyatcha! Very high quality, and every dish a fantastic taste experience. The staff is dedicated, with a lot of knowledge of the dishes that are served, and they do their work with great enthusiasm! We really enjoyed the fantastic food and the enormous hospitality of the staff. Every course was a party, and it was great that the staff also took the time to explain what we were eating and they could even explain to us how certain dishes or parts of them were made. This only made the experience better for us. We will definitely come back again!

Wir waren schon recht häufig im Kyatcha in Den Haag und bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Auch wenn das Sushi wirklich sehr lecker ist, nehmen wir doch regelmäßig das Omakase Menü. Auch an diesem Abend haben wir uns für das Menü entschieden. Leider haben uns dieses Mal die meisten Gänge nicht überzeugen können. Was aber deutlich mehr Einfluss auf das Erlebnis hatte, war das Chaos, welches im Service herrschte. Es wurde ein Gang vergessen, leere Gläser weitgehend ignoriert. Es war zwar reichlich Personal im Restaurant aber irgendwie fehlte jegliche Ordnung. Wir hoffen, es war nur ein Ausrutscher.

Everything is perfect, reception, atmosphere and of course the Japanese food. Top!

The service could be better, you end up getting three different waiters/waitresses which gets confusing. The omakase dishes weren't all that great either. Definitely not worth the money. Cocktails are deceiving, they all sound very fancy but in the end it wasn't all that good

Op 11 februari een couples box besteld om af te halen. Gelijk dezelfde avond ziek van geworden! Netjes een e-mail gestuurd op 12 februari toen daarom gevraagd werd (en deze herhaalt). Nooit een antwoord ontvangen. Geen aanrader dus. (Een van de) sushi was bedorven.

Excellent food with surprising mix of flavors and ingredients, a bit pricey, excellent service from the boss. The only suggestion from improvement would be to get the drinks a bit faster.

We were always big fans of the Kyatcha Couple Box and always looked forward to it. When we heard that this was no longer available, we were briefly disappointed. But after our dinner with you we completely understand! What a culinary experience – the flavors were unique and unparalleled. We enjoyed every bite and can say with certainty that we have not tasted this anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Had a delicious meal in this cozy little Japanese restaurant on Fred. The tables are not too close together, which is a real relief these days. Delicious dishes, wide choice and also a good drinks/concktail menu.

Kapsones restaurant with bad food and ridiculous service. Never before have I received such an unfriendly welcome and such bad food.

This restaurant plays games with reservations. I booked a month in advance, and they still messed up the date in their confirmation. I had to correct it, then they reconfirmed the day before—only to find they’d changed our seating upon arrival. Despite my email proving we reserved a regular table, they stuck us at the sushi bar and claimed nothing else was available. We walked out and had to find another place for our Valentine’s dinner. Completely unreliable. Avoid.

It was our first time and certainly not the last. The service was excellent. Upon arrival we were asked to wait a little longer until the table was free, but we were immediately offered a drink on the house for the wait. Furthermore, excellent advice was given in pairing our dishes with the right sake. The food was delicious and you didn't have to wait long for it. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. All in all an excellent evening and definitely worth coming back for.

Very tasty meal again. The service is friendly. Despite the open kitchen, you don't get the feeling that 6 people are walking around there. The only downside is the occasional extraction.

I know this place for years but the quality of the service and taste of the sushi’s are getting worse and worse. Time to find a new sushi place in The Hague.

I love this restaurant, both the ine in the Hague and in Rotterdam. They have great food, fresh ingredients, really tasty and very nice ambiance. I go there whenever I can and it’s definitely recommended if you are a fan of good Japanese food.

Such high hopes but the place is style over substance. The service was good, not great. If we didn't flag the server down they would never come by. It was the same for the table next to us, that table got louder and louder to for service. Also, the timing was completely off, 4 plates came by quickly (or rather too quickly) then there was a lull of 30 mins before the next plate. They also forgot one plate. My biggest complaint was the food was sweet, yes sweet. Everything had some sweet sauce on top. It's definitely an interpretation of Japanese food by a Dutch person and not authentic or even close to. If you want decent or good Japanese food, this is not it. If you want sweet "fancy" food that is more style over substance, this is your place.

General good and tasty. And the grill dish carries the fire taste very well. Just can't give full marks as the sushi is too too too small. No warning that the osyter is hard to share for two. Rice came also very late.

We are regular guests in Kyatcha. Food is great as usual, nice atmosphere but the service this time was below the usual level. It took almost 30 mins to take the first order and then again the same for the follow up one. It seems one of the staff was either completely new and/or untrained for the job.

Had dinner with my wife yesterday for our anniversary. Out of curiosity we opted for the omakase menu, six courses. This is a choice that we regret afterwards and that we would advise others against in the future. On the one hand, you get dishes that are not on the menu, with a unique flavor profile. The duck liver, with tufts and a soft kind of sugar bread, was the absolute highlight. On the other hand, despite the luxurious products used, the dishes are really on the small side. This is not entirely in proportion to the hefty price you pay for this. In the end we had to order two extra dishes, even though we are not big eaters. The most annoying thing was actually the waiting time. For six courses, we ended up sitting for three and a half hours. By the time the next course was finally on the table, the portion could not outweigh the already built-up appetite. The kitchen should really respond better to this. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for our dessert. While in the kitchen behind us we heard the head chef several times asking his staff to start this All in all a disappointing experience, which, despite the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, put a damper on the evening.

After many rave reviews about Kyacha in Rotterdam, we decided to try the restaurant in The Hague. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. Disappointment. The atmosphere and interior were ok (small, far from cozy). The service was seriously incredibly slow and not particularly attentive, which didn't really make us feel welcome. What really disappointed was the food. For the price they ask, I expected much more. The dishes were not bad, but I certainly expected more for the price you pay. The flavors were nothing special and the portions were small. Sushi 4 small pieces for 15 euros?! It felt like the food was out of proportion to what was charged. In short, a disappointing experience for 260 euros. Given the positive reports about the Rotterdam branch, we hope that this was an exception, but no reason for us to come back to Kyacha The Hague.

We ended up by accident in this restaurant because we had en event close by and we had to eat before. We had 30 min to eat, we assumed it was too tight for them, however, they told us in completely fine for us to make sushi for you. We order edamame as well. They were incredible fast but the most incredible delicious!!!!!!!!! It has been ones of the best exótico sushies I have eaten in my life. The edame with salt and butter was incredible too. The service was excellent! Now, we want to go back to try the real dishes that looked amazing. In summary, I would recommend this restaurant for their quality and service. Thank you for our great dishes in record time! We appreciated it and surely we will go back soon.

The service staff was pleasant and professional, but perhaps due to the busy kitchen, there were moments when the serving of dishes felt slow. Additionally, it seemed less enjoyable for children, likely because the dishes contained too many vegetables and flavors catered to adult tastes. Next time we visit this restaurant with kids, we plan to order à la carte, opting for simpler items like nigiri sushi or fried chicken.

To our surprise, we are told at 9:30 PM that the kitchen will close soon, the famous last round. We hurriedly order four dishes because we are still hungry. 15 minutes later they are told that two of the four dishes are no longer coming because the fryer has already been cleaned. No replacement is offered. It later turned out that the order had not been passed on to the kitchen. Too bad the payment has just not been paid. Also no compensation on the bill. Sloppy and this needs to be improved in this price range.

The four of us were recently at Kyatcha. All the food was good, but nothing was really great. The service wasn't very good either. Our drinks did not arrive until we had ordered the second round of food and that too after asking several times. We were helped by 3 people. One of the employees did not want to admit that one of our dishes had not been served correctly. She just didn't feel like asking, but once she did, she found out they were wrong and barely offered a solution. The bill was €400 and this restaurant is not worth that at all. Such a price requires top service and super tasty and beautifully served food and this is not that. We won't be coming back here.

Wij komen zelf uit Rotterdam en zijn intussen al een keer of 6 bij Kyatcha Rotterdam geweest. Een van de weinige restaurants die het hoge niveau van service, ambiance en goed eten in stand kunnen houden. Voor de verandering dachten we eens Den Haag te proberen. Locatie is prima, maar niet zo geweldig als het uitzicht op de Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam. Ook zeker de helft, als het niet meer is kleiner. Maar goed, in een soort dependance stijl waren we enorm benieuwd. Binnenkomst is wat lastig, als er ook maar 1 stel Voor je staat wordt je nagenoeg in de garderobe geduwd of moet je buiten (en in januari vrij koud) wachten. Tafel was ondanks reservering niet vrij om 8 uur, en werden we gevraagd aan een bar opstelling bij de keuken te gaan zitten en gevraagd of we niet daar wilde eten. Na 20 minuten werden we een beetje zenuwachtig omdat andere gasten van de 2e zitting binnenkwamen en neergezet. Gelukkig kwam de bijzonder vriendelijke gastheer aan om ons neer te zetten. Echter vanaf daar duurde het veel te lang voor we een menu hadden en na 50 minuten hadden we nog geen eten en geen drankje. Een cocktail off menu, pornstar martini, die in Rotterdam verkrijgbaar is konden ze niet maken. Voordat je denkt moet je ook niet vragen, dit wordt in het menu aangeboden ‘please inquire for any off menu cocktails with our staf’ Mede omdat het daadwerkelijke menu ook vrij klein is. Een stuk kleiner dan we gewend waren, maar bij navragen kunnen ze vaak toch wel weer wat meer zoals b.v. Edamame boontjes. Service is vriendelijk maar komt erg chaotisch en random over. Je ziet dat men nog zijn draai moet vinden in het runnen van deze zaak. Als voorbeeld kan je denken aan een willekeurige volgorde met het opnemen van bestellingen, uitleveren van bestelde gerechten en ook dat bij de ene tafel wel Soya wordt geschonken en andere tafels leeg blijven. Het eten is goed, lekker maar niet geweldig terwijl de prijzen doen vermoeden dat je een geweldige ervaring mag verwachten. Uiteindelijk 3 rondes besteld en dessert overgeslagen. Met korting van wat drankjes vanwege het lange wachten waren we 175 euro kwijt. De korting; cocktail, wijn en water moet je zeker 35-40 euro optellen. Het personeel doet zijn best, maar ze moeten hun draai nog vinden. Wellicht een bezoek bij de collega’s in Rotterdam zou ze helpen de ruwe kantjes eraf te halen. Wij blijven voortaan in Rotterdam.

The sushi in this restaurant tasted impeccably and was quite convincing. The ingredients seemed fresh and the preparation was appealing. But unfortunately my joy was quickly dampened when I saw the prices: 17 euros for just 4 small pieces of sushi is really beyond good and bad. In other restaurants you can easily get three times as much for the same price - and with comparable quality. The service was fine, neither particularly positive nor negative. However, with such high prices, I would have at least expected that more effort would be made in customer service to somehow justify the price. Overall, I can only recommend the restaurant to a limited extent: If you are prepared to pay a lot of money for little, you might be satisfied. For anyone looking for a fair price-performance ratio, there are definitely better alternatives

Great food and very stylish atmosphere, but the service was lacking. The staff seemed too inexperienced and had no idea how to treat guests. One of the waiters didn't know the cocktail menu. Another took our plates before we finished one of the meals. And when we were leaving, he opened a door for us BEFORE I put my coat on. It was strange and unpleasant. The food is fantastic though. We will definitely visit again in a couple months to see if the service improved, so the review might change.

We've been to this restaurant couple times and it's always an amazing experience! Exceptional service and great food choices! I love that the place is not too big so it's really cozy. The food were all tasty and can't compare to any other Japanese restaurant we've tried. They have changing dessert menu and I've always love it! Hope they bring back the matcha crème brûlée! 😋

Taste design experience high Standard All in One. Went with me family, Son of 12 and father and mother in law. They really appreciated the ambiance, food and Hospitality. Non foodies.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant in the Hague…

Heel wat punten voor een restaurant welke een beleving belooft. 1) Jasmijn thee, erg duur Euro 6,50 en veel te veel jasmijn toegevoegd waardoir de thee heel bitter was. 2) Een fles water Euro 6,50 hoe bestaat dit, kraanwater smaakt beter en is zo te tapoen 2) Omasaki menu gekozen, helaas werden een aantal ingredienten in meerdere gerechtjes gebruikt waardoor de snaken vaak op elkaar leken. 3) Voor Euro 89,00 pp verwacht je genoeg te eten, echter weet zelfs het personeel dat je te weinig krijgt, ze vragen voor het desert of je nog iets van de kaart wil bestellen. 4) Wij hebben gemuddeld 30 minuten moeten wachten tussen de steeds veel te kleine gerechten door. Al met al een zeer teleurstellende ervaring, die ook nog eens veel te veel geld koste.

It's very little food for a lot of money and strangely enough the staff knows this. We had the 6 course menu for 89 Euro per person and after the 5th course we were asked if we wanted desert or if we wanted to order something from the menu. And although the food was very good, I felt slightly disappointed afterwards.

Esta experiencia se refiere al menú sorpresa del chef de 5 platos y a la experiencia general. En resumen, los sabores de la cocina de fusión japonesa son refinados y sorprendentes. También, claramente, se pone un esfuerzo en la elaboración y presentación de platos con un ojo para los detalles. Esto no son las habilidades de cocina que no hicieron nuestra experiencia grande. los platos en el menú son generalmente ‘’micro platos”: muy pequeños y hechos con habilidad y composición compleja detallada, pero son tan pequeños que los gustos no se pegan. Un bocado y ido, las cantidades de ingredientes principales, condimento, detalles de los ingredientes de la salsa que acompañan son poco son difíciles de probar en absoluto, el tamaño pequeño no permite que nada complejo se desarrolle bien en la degustación. Hasta el cuarto plato pensamos que todavía estábamos recibiendo diversión o entradas. El quinto era un filete de pechuga de pato de dos cucharas de tamaño. Justo antes del cuarto plato nos preguntaron si queríamos pedir algo de sushi después de terminar con el menú, ya que la cocina cerraría. Bueno, una pregunta bastante peculiar para hacerle a un invitado que está en medio de un menú, pero después entendimos la relevancia: altas probabilidades de que no esté satisfecho con haber consumido el menú. Micro platos, micro cantidades. Decoraciones poco sorprendentes: remolacha, zanahoria, un poco de calabaza o pastinak / crema de coliflor que todos los restaurantes sirven en estos días. experiencia: el personal de camareros explica los platos con demasiados detalles, no deja tiempo para traducir a un huésped que no habla holandés o inglés, demasiado para traducirnos después. Los platos se quitan de la mesa sin una palabra, sin comprobar si nos ha gustado o no, sin interesarnos por los comentarios. Dimos dos señales de insatisfacción pero no pasó nada, ningún supervisor vino a vernos. Pasamos los dos últimos cursos a partir de las 22 h, y cenamos entre el personal de limpieza, traqueteo de sartenes y cajas, vientos helados de corriente fría en el restaurante ya que el personal había abierto puertas para ventilar la cocina y el restaurante, el personal que se reúne en el mostrador ocupado hablando entre sí como si se hiciera trabajo, espaldas a los clientes, absolutamente no comprobar si alguien quería una bebida, etc. no hay desierto o café ofrecido, . Pedimos el menú de vinos, pero nadie hizo un seguimiento para tomar un pedido. Enfoque de este restaurante es en la cocina, presentación de los platos (hermoso) , y no en la comodidad de los huéspedes y hacer algo especial de la experiencia. Después de 22 h ya no nos sentimos bienvenidos y más bien una molestia interfiriendo con el personal se centran en la limpieza y llegar a casa. Para la experiencia total, 80 euros por el menú no son proporcionales a lo que se obtiene, hay mucho más y mejor experiencia que se puede tener para eso en muchos lugares de DH. Consejo para el restaurante: deja de imitar el estilo El Bulli, sirve más comida y más sabor usando menos ingredientes pero porciones más grandes que llevan más sabor, y deshazte de la forma demasiado compleja de servir comida japonesa. Más bien concéntrate en más con menos sabores sorprendentes que se queden. Y poner un poco de carne y pescado en ella que son lo suficientemente grandes para dar sabor.

This is Japanese food as it should be. Hospitality, attention, excellent cuisine, nice atmosphere. Really a 10!

Modern Japanese restaurant. With an open kitchen and dining directly at the bar so you have a clear view of the kitchen. Nice contact with the chef and heard their story about Japanese cuisine and their vision on it. All dishes were a walk through the woods. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a dinner at Kyatcha Den Haag. Love the atmosphere, good quality food, smaller portions. Sashimi platter 16 pieces/slices for 43 euro, orange cauliflower starter for 13 euro, yakiniku (1 strip) for 22 euro. Nice presentation and very attentive service.

Unfortunately I had a bad take away experience. We have been coming here for several years but it was more than disappointing... sushi was not tasty, too much mayonnaise and small pieces, half of which fell apart. After returning home and finding out, I immediately called, thinking it might have been an error regarding the quantity, no answer. I received an automatic email asking if everything was satisfactory, I responded to this, but I still received a response to my telephone message or email. Very bad and not worth repeating.. €66 for 2p take away

We had a lovely diner. The atmosphere and styling really fit with the concept. We enjoyed the ala carte menu and tried a bit of everything. My personal favorite dish was the chicken. We also loved the sushi tempura! Every dish is presented with detail en care. The personnel is very friendly and take the time to advise us about the food and drinks. We are defenitelly coming back to try the waygu beef from the grill.

Surprisingly great! Was craving Japanese after traveling there and nothing was tasting good in NL. This is the closest I felt to eating in Japan :) very nice staff and wine too

Lady w shorter brown hair was quite not nice? Compared to the lovely japanese server who was taking our food orders. Moreover, food nothing wow, in fact pretty mid. There are better places for same prices in the Hague. Also the fake plants in the restaurant look quite kitschy

Absolutely fantastic, we had a brilliant lunch with delicious food and excellent service, I even got a pearl in my scallops! The scallops were perfectly cooked, tempura shrimp to die for and steak tartar beautifully seasoned. Looking forward to going back for the BBQ and dinner. Highly recommended.
