A small, secluded bistro, found by chance while looking for a place to have a good drink and a bite to eat. Karolina was wonderful! She gave me so many options and sat down to explain them to me one by one, always managing to find the right glass (even managing to get me to try Italian wines I wasn't familiar with). I was also lucky enough to meet a couple who make artisanal kombucha, which they sell at Dilettante (a really great option for those who want to drink alcohol-free while still having company). A truly wonderful discovery ♡

LOVE this wine bar! Almost didn’t even wanna leave a review so that too many people wouldn’t discover it. They have a great selection of wines and are super friendly and generous with trying wines to help you find the best one for you. The space is small, but cozy. I think this is my favorite wine bar in Amsterdam and they have a good menu of small bites to snack on.

Really good non alcoholic options their organic kombucha is next level , a little loud inside but the space and people are great! Terrace is fantastic and neighborly!

Walking around the neighborhood De Pijp we find La Dilettante 🍷 a gorgeous Bar à Vin 💫 super cozy wine bar 🌬️ the girls working there were really available, kind and professional! In fact Laura gave us to try some superbe ‘funky’ orange wine that we adore from the first taste 🧡 as a tourist, I recommend going there at least to spend a lovely evening, tasting good natural wine in a wonderful setting.

Some people on the staff are amazing, and some are not. We visited on the evening of the 21st. I first came with my friend, and my husband decided to join us 15 minutes later—it wasn’t planned. There was space for a third person, but the lady with short black hair started accusing us of lying, saying we told her we were two and then suddenly became three. We left immediately. This is not what you expect on a Saturday evening. It used to be my favorite wine place in the neighborhood—never coming back.

Last time that I came here I gave this place a fiver star review. Wouldn't even give it a one star this time, but that is the minimum rating that you can give. Make absolutely attempt to accommodate you and can't even serve you a drink whilst you wait for a free spot. Won't be returning again. Shame as last time that I was there it was great. Not sure what has changed since then, but it certainly isn't for the better.

This place truly made our trip to Amsterdam. We found ourselves coming back multiple times. We’ve visited natural wine bars all over the world, and this one really stands out the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and effortlessly cool. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about their wines, and you can tell they care deeply about what they’re pouring. They go above and beyond to create an experience, not just serve a glass. We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who loves great wine and great people.

A neighbourhood natural winebar? Yes it is! It’s tiny and very cozy, the staff will make the outmost to fit you in. (We stood in the dish area for the first glass) Whilst the main glass menu is big enoug, there is always something ‘off-list’

I’ve been here dozens of times and I’m always impressed by the wine selection. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable but also take the time to get to know you, so their recommendations really feel personal and spot on. There is truly something for everyone, whether you are new to natural wine or already know what you like. The bar snacks are also perfect with the wines, from the sardines to the feta ricotta spread, cheese boards, ect. They also host fun pop up events from time to time. Absolutely love this place and it is always my go to recommendation for natural wine!

Last Sunday we had our staff party at La Dilletante with 14 of us. Will and the team treated us like kings and queens with great hospitality and even better wines. Will is an amazing host and takes you on a wonderful journey of global wines. One of the best staff parties in a while. Will definitely be back! Thanks Will and the rest of the team!🫶

Best natural wine bar in Amsterdam - service is always incredible and the wine selection delicious. Especially enjoyed the red from Abruzzo and the cheese platter!

The waitress was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We were wrapping up our conversation and had already indicated we weren’t ordering anything else when the waitress asked if other customers could join our table. When we politely declined, explaining that we were finishing our conversation, she clearly couldn’t accept our answer. Her response was completely unprofessional - she immediately started clearing our table in a demonstrative, aggressive manner and thrust the bill at us right away. This was unnecessary, rude, and made us feel extremely unwelcome. We weren’t camping out for hours; we were simply finishing our conversation as paying customers. There was no patience, no courtesy, and no basic respect for guests. The way she pressured us to give up our table and then punished us for declining was unacceptable. Zero points for service. We won’t be returning

The wine is nice but the snacks/food is insanely overpriced. Charging14 euros for one tbsp of rilettes is not cool.

We were referred to this establishment by a most pleasant dinner experience at another establishment. The service was horrible. We had to flag them down to order a second round and my husband ordered a starter and they never placed/served the starter. We noticed they seemed to cater to the ladies but not the couples— enough said. This was extremely disappointing so regardless of the beverage quality I do NOT recommend it.

Such a hidden gem of a wine bar in Amsterdam. They offer a unique and exciting selection of wines, all beautifully curated. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and took the time to let us taste and choose wines that matched exactly what we were looking for. The owner is super friendly (and gives off very non-Dutch warm vibes 🤭). We’ll definitely be coming back! 🍷✨

Unfriendly staff. They seems to be friendlier to tables around us but were different to us. For example, they would ask every other table if they wanted more drinks once they finished or when serving food saying “enjoy”, but not to us. Perhaps it’s to do with being obvious foreigners in the wine bar, despite some of their staff also coming from English speaking countries. Olives took 30 mins to arrive after asking twice. Wine was nice, but service was too rude to ignore.

It’s the best wine bar in the city. It’s not pretentious unlike the majority of the other wine bars in the city. And it’s an actual bar, not a restaurant. If you want to drink come here.

At Dilettante, the staff has embodied the name of the bar into their service. I could never imagine getting such a worse service in a wine bar. Yet Netherlands never fails to surprise and at Dilettante they managed to pull it off. The only big advantage of this bar is that they are located in De Pijp but it still cant make up for what you are getting. If you are up for mega slow service, ill-informed staff about wines and hippiest wines, dont miss this place. Absolute joke!

we went to this place before dinner when the weather was really nice and we were able to sit outside while enjoying a little bit of sunshine. the staff were very knowledgeable about wine and gave us good recommendations according to our likings. the anchovy toast with a squeeze of lemon was also SO GOOD, went so well with all of the wines!! i will definitely come back again :)

The best wine bar on our trip. Exceptional service on top of it. They made us taste the wines before buying them, which I didn’t find in other wine bars we had been to in France. And the indoor seating is very cosy.

I visit amsterdam often, and I have been at La dilettante different times, The wine is good and they have a wide range of bottles, The food does not satisfy me that much, the options are not plenty and also the quality of the food looks quite low, The service in particular last time was bad, I felt quite uncomfortable..

For a wine bar I found the wine selection to be rather small. It's a shame that the red wine is served in small white wine glasses.

We ended up here by chance on a Saturday afternoon, looking for a spot in the sun. We enjoyed it immensely. The orange wine was delicious, the snacks were very tasty and the staff was super nice. What a nice spot in the Pijp this is! And a shout out to the (Swedish) lady whose first day it was, she did great.

Massive fan of this wine bar. The wine was exceptional and the service was even better. They found space for 4 of us and when our selected wine wasn’t chilled enough they gave us a complementary glass of an already opened bottle. Go if you can!

Been coming here for several years now. Chill, non-pretentious with natural wines and a variety of snacks. In the summer it is lovely to sit outside and in the winter the bar or inside tables are cosy. I love the off menu offerings; there are sometimes bottles open that you can sample. Love this place!

A most charming place. It is a small venue. The staff was very cool and offered great selections to sample. The atmosphere was off the hook ; music in the background really helps make this an intimate place to just eat cheese and drink wine. No expensive wines, so worth a look!

Really gorgeous place, understatedly romantic vibe, chill but attentive service, delicate but well curated wine list, even better food, and the neighborhood was intimate but welcoming. Loved it, if I could recommend one wine bar in town it would be this one. Don’t even hesitate. And the best part, all natural wine.
