Such a nice place, tasty snacks and very good service, the latter you don't come across very often in Amsterdam anymore.

We had a fantastic evening! Delicious dishes and a nice wine selection. The atmosphere is great and it's a great spot for drinks all evening. The service was very friendly and they took the time to help us choose the wines. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately didn't take any pictures but the sommeliers are super knowledgeable and friendly and the place is so cosy! We only had two glasses of wine each but the food on other tables looked amazing.

We enjoyed a few delicious glasses of wine with tasty snacks. The service was incredibly friendly. The Christmas lights were charming. They explained my choice of Valpolicella Ripasso in detail. What a lovely spot in the Pijp!

I think this is such a great place. The service is fantastic, and the high wine is fantastic. It's small appetizers and a matching wine, and it's definitely enough for lunch or dinner!

A very cozy wine bar, especially the terrace is a great place to sit. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. They serve delicious, refined snacks and have a good wine list. It's not cheap, but the value is definitely good.

My wife and I stopped in - had a great white wine (Rhone) and for apps had the croquet with mayo and the sardines with toast. All was just incredible- artsy but well made, super high quality

Good is really good. They have some nice collection of wines too, however, on busy days, the staff seem to be stretched thing. You might need to wait for some time before they can attend to yiu,

€10 for sardines on toast? Ridiculous. That’s the cheapest fish in the sea — they must be charging extra for the audacity.

A disappointing experience, we had another wine bar in mind where we had been before, unfortunately it was full for that evening so we found the wine bar in the fitting room, apparently a very cozy homely atmosphere and nice bar. When we asked for the wine tasting it was not possible, which was understandable given the crowds and we therefore opted for 3 tasting glasses of red wine, we were not asked what we liked (probably the standard range) we like full and fruity wines and received 3 glasses from colder parts of Europe, the result was wine with a lot of tannin in it and I am not a huge wine connoisseur but this was by far the least tasty 3 wines I have ever drunk, the server was a student, He said that too and it felt a bit like he had learned what he had to say but had no real knowledge of it, for example he said that the 2nd wine he always drinks with his student friends because it is relatively cheap and easy to drink, with all due respect I would not buy a bottle of it. Anyway, this was a tasting and it can happen that you don't like it all (there were 4 of them), special, but it is possible. But the real kicker came when two good wine glasses (€9.50 each that were incorrectly indicated on the menu) were added for the taste!! A bottom was poured, which was not the worst because the quality was poor, the bottle should be at least at room temperature (18 degrees) and came from the refrigerator, the wine therefore lacked a lot of flavor, we tried to warm the glasses above the candles to regain some of the taste. After we asked to take a photo of the bottle for the wine app, we noticed that another man behind the bar who had not helped us this evening tasted the wine (very strange) before he gave the bottle to us, this confirmed the ignorance for us. It is a shame that you spend more than €20 on the man and you leave with a tasteless feeling. Once for us and never again.

The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is high quality, carefully prepared and full of flavour. What an original wine bar, rare fun! Very nice dishes with matching wines. What taste sensations and very knowledgeable explanations from the staff. For us a real pearl in Amsterdam. Very spacious places with good acoustics, which makes your evening romantic and intimate. Highly recommended, we will be back soon. Top business!!

Still such a rare find. Paskamer has a truly fantastic wine selection, offering beautiful bottles and vintages at amazingly friendly prices. Shared dining food is great with lovely vegetarian options. Team is kind, and knows their stuff. Love it

We have been here before, but the last two times the service was very short and there was little attention for us. It does remind us that it does fill up even though that attitude was not there before. The wines are well chosen and there are some gems among them. As far as we're concerned, off to other wine bars.

Booked a three-course High Wine last Saturday as the start of a bachelor party. All difficult dietary requirements and allergies were taken into account and it was also very tasty. Would recommend this to everyone!

The Fitting Room is an absolute must! The wine tasting was a great experience with delicious wines. The food was superb and paired perfectly with the wines. The explanation about Wessel's wines was informative and delivered with passion. I would definitely come back here!

I have been coming here occasionally for years and have always been very satisfied with the wine, the food and certainly the service. Unfortunately, last weekend I had a completely different experience in terms of service. We did not feel welcome at all and should have left immediately when we were accused of sitting on the half-empty terrace without asking. Unfortunately we stayed and there was no friendly word from the staff. No one ever came by to ask if everything was still OK. When we wanted to pay we were simply forgotten. It's so disappointing because it was always so good. Shame.

Have had a high wine here a few years in a row following a celebration. I was always very pleased with it, hence the repetition. This year I found the service inadequate compared to what I was used to. The waitress always seemed in a hurry, briefly gave some information about the wines and then ran away again. Due to the crowds, it was not always easy to understand her. We were given no explanation as to why a particular snack was served with that particular wine. During the first round we only got the snack when the wine was almost gone. When I asked if they had forgotten the snack, I received a reproachful answer 'we didn't want to leave you without a drink'. But it was a high wine where the wine is combined with a snack. Unfortunately this was the last time for me. I thought it was much better the years before. Except for the last round, the wine and snacks were good.

A true hidden gem in the streets of Amsterdam. A great variety of bottles of wines, a very intriguing food menu and some easy-going options for wine tasting (3 wines per category).

Delicious food also for shared dining

High wine is what we made reservations for. 4 delicious wines with matching dishes, super fun. Wines were explained and indeed matched well with the dish. After the arrangement we thought we would have something to drink and perhaps something to eat. But unfortunately our table was already booked for someone else. That was a bit of a loss because otherwise we would have gone to dinner for a while. So we went to another wine bar.

We were here today as a surprise for our friend's birthday and had reserved the high wine. The food was good (small snacks) but the service left a lot to be desired. We did not receive any explanation about the wines. The waiter said that she knew very little about the wines when we explicitly asked for an explanation about the second wine. Nothing was said about the combination between the food and the wines. Someone can be new and know little, she was also very friendly, but it is the responsibility of someone else/the owner to explain! Otherwise you might as well not do high wine and order something to eat and a few glasses of wine somewhere else. Shame!

Unfortunately, little explanation about the wines and some surly service with little extra information about the wine, despite the fact that we indicated that we wanted to taste extra for our WSET3 course at AWA. Terrace and location as well as wines are good!

Extremely unwelcoming! We went with a group for a friends birthday, service was rude and very unhelpful. The charcuterie board came out with no bread or crackers or utensils for that matter- eating sardines with hands it seems. I used to love this place but now I won’t be returning. Very over priced.

We arrived at the fitting room for a high wine with high expectations. However, this was very disappointing, we did not feel very welcome and taken seriously, perhaps due to our young age. The staff was not very enthusiastic and explained everything quite briefly and quickly. We also always received a very small layer of wine in our glasses, while you expect full glasses for this price. The food was very tasty but not much. For dessert we ordered the lava cake, but we both got half a cake, which is just ridiculous for this price. If it always happens like this, I wouldn't recommend it.

Very nice winebar. Big choice in wine by the glass and bottle. In “wine by the glass”, the waitress had a generous hand😀. The food is nice, good quality, well presented. But the dishes are at the small side. Overall a very good experience!

Echte gastvrijheid midden in een woonwijk in de Pijp. Verrast door onze dochter met een high wine menu. Lekkere wijnen met een goede uitleg, heerlijk bij de gerechtjes die weten geserveerd. Een extra tussengerechten bestellen, geen enkel probleem, doen we. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Last Sunday I had dinner with my friends in the fitting room. Very nice cozy restaurant. We had a high wine, the dishes went well with the different wines. We had a nice evening! It was also well explained where the wine came from, which was very nice!
