This was a wonderful discovery. We had the fish of the day (turboat). The fish was beautifully prepared and a delight for the palate. The service was very friendly, competent, and efficient. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We hebben genoten. Eerst een tafel vol om van alles te proeven. Daarna heerlijke pasta, ravioli en sepia. Toen een heerlijk stukje vis of vlees en als laatste de toetjes. We hoorden dat er met seizoen groenten wordt gevarieerd. Een hele geslaagde avond en we hebben de volgende keer alweer gereserveerd.

Disappointed with the changed variety that, in a quite pricey menu, has been downsized so much in a few months. Service was very absent this time. Waiting too long for your plate to be removed. And this while they walked past quite often. Really a 6. Shame!

Ate here last night, the food was fine although the portions were not very large. The waitress lady did her best, but what bothered us all evening was the terrible table we got!!! Next to a folding door and the size of a small patio table with uncomfortable wooden folding chairs. Terrible, never again for us.

We waited 1.15 hours for our main course after the starters for the dinner we went to for my daughter's birthday on 4.4. 2025. When we asked why it hadn't arrived, we understood that there was a problem after the waiters' panic and waited for an explanation. Instead of the long blonde haired waitress who took care of us, 2 other waiters took care of it and they said it would be ready in 2 minutes!!!, The waiter who was actually responsible walked past our table without apologizing or looking at our faces. When I was trying to explain my problem and complaint to the male waiter who came after 2 hours, he turned his back on me, walked away without listening and then laughed behind my back. My daughter's birthday dinner was ruined. When I was paying the bill after 1.30 hours which is 160€ and you didn’t deserve it😡, the dark long haired waitress who said she was responsible still did not apologize and criticized the reaction of the four of us. However, if the responsible waitress had admitted she made a mistake, said she would try to fix it and APOLOGIZED, of course we would have understood. On the contrary, your attitude towards blaming us is very sad. As an expat family, this attitude even made us think that there was discrimination. It's a shame. Apologizing is a very important stance, especially in the service sector. It's a shame that you can't do this :(((((

Had a descent diner. Let me break it down. Crudo di manzo: 5/10. Extremely boring and basic. Nothing particularly wrong with it but the characterlessness of the plate was too heavy. Melanzane parmigiana: 6.8/10. Plate had a lot of potential but went wrong with seasoning. Too bland. Porro arosto: 8/10. This was perhaps one of the best dishes we had. Well balanced - good seasoned and fresh ingredients. It worked. Risotto calamari: 3/10. Don’t let me start about this risotto. The risotto was undercooked, tasted questionable and the calamari did imo not taste fresh. Doubted several times to send it back, but was too hungry to let it go. Thankfully I didn’t post a photo of the crying risotto. But see other reviews if you’re curious. Pesce del Giorno/Agnello arrosto: 8.2/10. Both the dishes were (at this moment; surprisingly) quite tasty. A total contrast with the risotto and startes, the mains were everything you expected but on the other hand also not exceptional. Tiramisu: 7.3/10. Solid tiramisu, did not disappoint at all. A bit too heavy on the liquor but that is subjective. Atmosphere and service: decent and depends on your table. Overall verdict: be picky with the starters, SKIP the risotto and stick with the mains. Price/quality ratio: acceptable. Will I recommend? Not necessarily.

We came for dinner with my company. It is clean and the employees are very polite. About the food, the main dishes were not to my taste. You can try the fish, it was very delicious. The caramel profiterole was very delicious, you should definitely try it.

My absolute favourite chique Italian dinner choice for a date with your significant other or your girlfriends. Everything is on point, from the staff service to the wine list to the food. I could go on and on about this place but will keep it simple must book a dinner there, wont’t be cheap but worth every penny.

Attended a work dinner here with about 40 people in the cellar. The four course dinner was great and the service was awesome.

Special flavors, good wines. But very expensive for what you get. The dishes have a good taste and special combinations. But the quantities are not sufficient. After a 3 course menu we were still hungry. We were not given the opportunity to choose from the menu ourselves, but were obliged to take the recommended dishes. Vegetarian or not was taken into account.

We got the second menu with all the antipasti to share, 2 dishes and desert to share. The service was great, attentive and super good wine recommendations. As seen pictured, the risotto was the disappointment, it tasted fishy, had no piece of fish and presentation was also not appealing. The rest were fine, I was lucky to get the fish main dish without many bones, unlike the people I dined with. The price quality ratio is not very proportionate but I would go back for the service, the antipasti and deserts. The antipasti were delicious, as well as the deserts.

I had Christmas Eve dinner with four friends, and it was an incredible experience. The set menu can sometimes be hit or miss, but this one was a definite hit! The dishes were not only beautifully presented but also packed with creativity and vibrant flavors. We truly enjoyed the variety and thoughtfulness behind each plate. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to include a welcome drink upon arrival—especially at a price point of over 650 euros. It would be a nice touch to set the tone for such a special occasion.

Last friday, I had the pleasure of attending our company christmas dinner at La Florita. I've noticed differing opinions, but I feel it's only fair to share how enjoyable my visit was😊. **Atmosphere** From the moment we arrived, we were all warmly welcomed and the professional service lasts throughout the evening. As you know, atmophere and the service is the KEY in company christmas dinner😇😇 all the employees loved it. **Food** Appetizers: red beet with cheese was exceptionally good!! Loved the raw fish and beef tartar as well. First main: spicy calamari risotto was nice. Main: fish was nice. Desert: EVERY THING so good. Visiting a fine restaurant as a big group (about 30 ppl) is not easy, but La Florita was passionate about providing a great dining experience. I'd definitely come back here again soon with others!

Were here for a Christmas dinner organised by our company. The appearance from outside the window and inside is very promising. Chic atmosphere, classic seating design with not much decoration. The shared appetizers were either bland or salty. However compared to the mains it’s rating is 7/10. Above average for its portion size and setting. The Tagliatelle with truffels , as first main. A total disaster, already not only its an additional 5 euro for its truffles but it was super dry the tagliatelle . Between raw and al dente , zero sauce . Had no taste at all. Then the very promising veal cheek turned out to be too salty and very small portion too. The only positive thing of this dinner was the bread at the very beginning and the shared dessert. Perhaps nice to try out once but definitely not recommending to others or worth price-quality.

An expensive canteen which has of Italy only the food. We were expecting a romantic dinner in a qualitative Italian atmosphere; we landed in a loud and expensive canteen full of uneducated groups of people. We tried once, won’t come back.

Cute classic Italian restaurant serving the most delicious food. I visited the restaurant yesterday with my mom, stepdad and stepbrother. We all liked the food and vibes so much. And they made vegan options for my mom. 👌🏼 Definitely coming back for another round of delicious food soon.

Classic Instagram/TikTok trap for people who like to pretend they know fine dining and etiquette. The place is unbearably loud, portions are small for the price, and the servers seem to operate on their own time, with no real sense of order. Service? Let’s just say ‘snail-paced’ would be a compliment. The cherry on top? My table was conveniently located near the dishwasher room, so I enjoyed my meal with a front-row view of the dishwasher guy clattering dirty plates and cutlery like he was putting on a show.

We had a pleasant evening at la Fiorita. The atmosphere was good, as was the service. The food was delicious with many small starters. And the desserts were mmmmmm delicious. We will definitely come back here again soon.

Delicious food, but having to disappear again in just 2 hours for those prices is strange and inhospitable. Especially selling a bottle of wine that you can no longer drink because of the time is not chic. Unfortunately we couldn't have dessert either. Very unfortunate, I would have liked to taste that.

It rarely happens that we eat in a slightly more pricey restaurant, we usually choose casual. So we paid a price, but a correct price for the quality offered. I want to give the five stars because we were guided and advised from start to finish by the friendly, highly skilled young hall staff, to our satisfaction. And all this in a very friendly, chill atmosphere. Pleasant experience.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Food is bland or completely over seasoned. If you happen to have the unfortunate experience of sitting at the door you’ll suffer under constant cigarette smoke. Wait staff friendly but beyond slow. Don’t waste time here. Go elsewhere.

Min mand og jeg er på 5 dages ferie i Amsterdam. Vi ledte efter et sted at spise aftensmad og var super heldige at der var plads til os på La Fiorina på en fredag aften og uden reservation. Vi blev taget imod med stor imødekommenhed af søde, charmerende og belevne unge tjenere. De fik os med det samme til at føle os hjemme. Maden var fuldstændig fantastisk. Vi bestilte en tre retters menu. Den bestod af 7 små antipasta retter to share. En selvvalgt secundi, hvor vi fik henholdsvis fisk og oksekød og selvvalgt dessert hvor vi fik henholdsvis marenges med creme og rabarberis og profiteroles med vanille, chokolade og karamel. Vi fik hver et glas hvidvin og et glas rødvin og to flasker sparkling water.

The table next to the French doors is not a pleasant place to sit relaxed and the acoustics are poor. Worse than that is the substandard quality of the food. We took the €65 menu. Tasteless selection of what they call antipasti, but which is a number of bowls of indeterminate soggy lifflies including the driest and most unappetizing vitello tonnato I have ever eaten. The risotto with shrimp was a much too thick salty porridge, without shine or suppleness. They charge €25 for that. Desserts are shared just like the starters, but we had to ask for plates to share the three desserts ourselves, because three complete desserts are simply placed on the table instead of everyone getting their own selection. Very mediocre dolci, for which you also have to wait far too long. All in all a poor price-quality ratio.

Staff is trippel A, the food however, might be even better. We had an amazing experience. This is easily one of the best italian restaurants i have been able to visit.

Mi esposa como ha estado enferma toda la noche, ella come la ternera que obviamente estaba bajo - cocinado si no crudo. volvemos al Reino Unido el lunes esta comida ha arruinado nuestro fin de semana en Amsterdam. Me senté cerca de la cocina y miré al jefe, no se lavó las manos ni una vez durante nuestra comida, este también podría haber sido el problema con la ternera

After being in Italy for a week, I had better Italian food in Amsterdam than in Italy (also very tasty food in Italia...). Don't know of a better Italian in Amsterdam at the moment. The Antipasti were really unbelievably good!!!

Starters and desserts were very tasty. Also a very nice concept that you get a table full to share. The asparagus and fish were also very tasty. Unfortunately, the veal was really inedible. Also not enough staff to handle the crowds. All in all, a nice restaurant and if the above points are addressed, it has a lot of potential.

Absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was great! They have a prefix concept where you can choose your main but they bring out a set of appetizers and deserts. It’s actually nice to try a few things that you don’t usually order. I loved the risotto, it was tasty and perfectly cooked! Do try their tiramisu! Nice service and atmosphere.

What a wonderful experience! Definitely worth all stars! You enter a very cozy and cozy restaurant, good atmosphere and a beautiful open kitchen with passionate chefs. It's fun to see how they work together in the kitchen to prepare the beautiful dishes. The service is in good spirits! But especially the food, exceptionally good! A restaurant to go to more often if you want really good Italian food and you almost go home drunk because of the tiramisu ;)

Ab-so-lutely amazing. The food was an absolute experience of taste and the service was super friendly and fun. Would crown it the best restaurant in Amsterdam I have been to so far.

Price /quality isn’t great. You have to take a menu and there is no menu that states your options + price which led us to walk out with way higher cost than expected, 110€ per person and we didn’t go crazy with our order. Lot of the dishes were great, loved the vegetarian main but the fish was quite mediocre.

Joppe was such a great server! Service was super friendly and attentive to us throughout our meal. We mostly went for the vegetarian dishes, and there was only a set menu when we visited, but the food was delicious.

prijs kwaliteit verhoudingen zijn niet in het voordeel van de bezoekers van dit etablissement. De service is ronduit matig. Als je zoveel betaalt voor het eten dan verwacht je ook dat er een klein beetje service bij wordt geleverd. Helaas. Aan het eind van de avond kregen we de bon geserveerd waarbij 300 euro teveel werd gerekend. Of we zelf even de bon konden checken of alles goed was.. niet dus.

This could have been a five star review if the service was completely the opposite. We had very little attention and had to be chasing the staff to even get a menu after sitting for 20/25 min and eating our breadcrumbs out of hunger. It was a Monday night and not very busy. The buratta, crudo di pesce and di vitello were delicious. And you should definitely get the pappardelle, was really tasty. I hope they improve their service because the food was quite good.

Heerlijk fixed menu / shared dining. Goede sfeer en heel aardige bediening, die in het begin wat traag was. We hebben zo'n 20 minuten gezeten voordat er iemand langs kwam om een eerste drankje op te nemen. Mocht uiteindelijk de pret niet drukken want rest van de avond goed voorzien en de gerechten waren voortreffelijk. Alleen de eerste indruk was hierdoor wat rommelig.

Ik heb eerder bij La Fiorita gegeten toen het nog niet lang open was. Destijds was dat een top ervaring - fine Italian dining in een heel bijzondere en luxe sfeer. Een prachtig restaurant met mooie rond zitjes en heel gastvrij personeel. Nu een aantal jaar later hier weer eens gegeten, maar wat een teleurstelling. Hoewel ik weken van te voren had gereserveerd werden we naast de telkens openslaande toegangsdeuren gezet, op een plek waar je eigenlijk een kapstok of garderobe verwacht. De hele avond mensen ongeveer op je tafel, die wachten tot ze naar binnen mogen. Helaas was er niets aan te doen, omdat het restaurant vol geboekt was.Tegelijkertijd werd ons gemeld dat we tot 21:00 uur hadden om ons verplichte menu naar binnen te werken. Op het eten valt niets aan te merken, maar qua sfeer en ambiance lijkt het totaal niet meer op de ervaring die ik eerder had. Voor een verplicht menu van meer dan 60 euro pp verwacht ik meer sfeer en service. Helaas niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar en het zoveelste restaurant in Amsterdam dat overlopen door toeristen aan zijn eigen succes ten onder is gegaan.

We went to the restaurant after rave reviews online however do not be fooled. The atmosphere in restaurant is beautiful. However, the noise and sound control was beyond comfortable. You could not hear yourself talk or think and you could not hear the waiter. The service was excellent. They were attentive and on task. and the wait staff was very accommodating. As far as the food, it was a large disappointment. We have traveled and enjoyed many restaurants, including a wonderful restaurant in Utrecht. We had veggie selection and fish option. The vegetables were disappointing, unflavored and at times not edible. With all the wonderful vegetables in the world, the choices, this restaurant picked for vegetables was very uncreative. Some of the sauces were good. The fish came with cabbage only and a few potatoes. certainly for the price they had could’ve added more interesting vegetables. The flavor of the fish was enjoyable however, most of the fish had bones in it, so half of it was not edible. On a bright side, the dessert was delicious. Finally, we had coffee at the conclusion of the meal this was an up charge and not drinkable. It had coffee grounds in it and was thick and horrible tasting. Finally, we left hungry and disappointed. We had two glasses of wine and coffee. The bill with the tip was €180 and we left wondering how the restaurant keeps as busy as it does. Beware there are wonderful restaurants in Amsterdam. This is not one of them.

This was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The mushroom ravioli was incredible! The tiramisu was great too!

This restaurant have a retro feel with white table cloth and napkins. Rather rare nowadays. There’s tables at the sidewalk for people to have drinks and chat. They are the usual wooden chairs and small tables. Once inside the restaurant, the clean wall space, retro lighting and table cloths exuded a classy vibe. Small menu that covers the meat, seafood dishes. Despite the serving staff shortage, this place had a decent amount of attentive staff. And they were knowledgeable and friendly. The seafood crudo was very fresh with some sliced red chili which made it spicy. Ask them to omit the chili for a more balanced flavor. The meat crudo is basically steak tartare with a mix of beef and pancetta. It was delicious. Grilled leeks were ok. Fish of the day came deboned and slightly overcooked. Not a good looking dish. Stuffed artichoke hearts was ok. The artichoke hearts were a bit overcooked and stuffing was dry. Edible by washing it down with wine. Tiramisu was ok. Big portion made up for the mediocre meal.

Excellent restaurant. Been here numerous times and it never fails to impress. Food is always superb and the changing menu ensures that there is always something new to try. Whenever they have it on the menu, the calamari risotto is brilliant. Good selection of wines as well. The staff also friendly and professional. It is usually fully booked, so make sure you reserve a table.

Gisteren weer met gezin gegeten aan een gezellig rond zitje. Prima bediening, heerlijk eten en goede wijn!! Daarnaast is de sfeer in de zaak uitstekend, geen harde achtergrond muziek!

In het weekend gegeten. Wat mij opviel was dat de prijzen op Maandag tot en met Woensdag verschillen van de andere dagen beetje raar. Eten is prima maar hadden een nare ervaring met onze vriend deze is na afloop erg ziek geweest we weten niet of dit door het eten kwam of niet. Het voorval is aan het restaurant doorgeven maar deze heeft totaal geen interesse in de informatie gesteld het lag niet aan hun zeide ze. Wij komen hier niet meer.

Lang getwijfeld of ik deze review zou schrijven want La Florida is mijn favoriete eet plekje en het is al vaak lastig om een tafeltje te krijgen. Maar ik kan niks anders zeggen dan dat het eten, de service en de sfeer een 5/5 sterren verdiend. Mijn favoriete restaurant!

Wonen we al jaren om de hoek ontdekken we ze nu pas! Onaangekondigd loop ik even langs zonder reservering. De zaak is nog niet open maar wordt zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Abel ( hoop dat ik dat nog goed heb)we kunnen eten van 18.00 tot 20.00. En maar goed ook, heerlijke wijn, zalige risotto met gamba, maar het toetje, echt WAANZINNIG! Meringue met bloedsinaasappel, afijn, Isabel verzorgd de top bediening maar natuurlijk de koks en iedereen reuze bedankt!!

Mais quel délice !!! Le plat était succulent, j'en aurais bien mangé plus, les desserts sont très copieux. Rapport qualité prix top! Le personnel était très sympathique, la demoiselle qui s'est occupée de nous était blonde, elle était au top! Je recommande 1 000 fois!!!

A very nice restaurant, with excellent service and food. They are serving ether 3 courses or 4 courses. We went with 3, and there was definitely enough food. For a starter there was 6 different Italian treats (some with fish, some with cheese and some with vegetables). For dinner we chose the meat (you could also choose fish or vegetarian), and it was perfectly roasted and prepared. The dessert was 5 different Italian treats (ice cream, tiramisu, caramel bombs and much more). I will definitely recommend this restaurant, and for sure come back myself 😊👍 Price: 200€ for 3 persons (3 courses each) plus a bottle of red wine to share 🍷 Cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰

Great dining experience , food was spot on !

The best dining experience I had from a first visit in a very long time. Now a solid top 5 spot on a list I spent my 20 years in Amsterdam compiling. Great service from a young and very devoted staff, possibly the highest level I have experienced in The Netherlands. Well, then comes the food, and oh boy it does. Wouldn’t say we were starving when we sat down, but lord did every single dish disappear within minutes of being placed on our table. Except for a somewhat bland Scandinavian style cucumber infused burrata, I’d say I haven’t seen this many smash hits since the day of Borg himself. And the desserts. I still have the salt deposits below my eyes to prove how much I enjoyed those. A solid 4.6/5. Only point of grievance was the fact we had an early dinner slot, and staff seemed concerned (until they saw we gobbled up everything they threw at us in record time) that we wouldn’t be able to finish in time, and that added some stress unfortunately. But whatever, this is fantastic, and had I spent any more time there I’m sure I’d be rolling out the door 😮‍💨
