Wonderful lunch on the square. I appreciated the blankets at the tables and the heaters. The pizza was delicious. Very attentive service! Great vibe to take in the people and sights of the square.

The food was truly disappointing. The gnocchi alla sorrentina were undercooked. The spaghetti carbonara was bland, and I have no idea what they used instead of guanciale. The cutlery and glasses were filthy. The bathrooms were in a terrible state. On the other hand, the service was fast and friendly. Prices were, in theory, fair.

I ate the Chef’s mix and it was amazing.

The food was okay, I only ordered carbonara. Their menu stated that you could choose the type of pasta, but apparently it has to be the same for everyone at the table. However, the service wasn't great and the atmosphere was decent.

Ordered mix grilled meats, they were supposed to be cooked medium, but some pieces were overcooked and other pieces were raw. It was really disappointing seeing that the meal costs 60 euros.

I sat down on the terrace with a friend; it wasn't very busy, and we were shown to a table for two. After not being served for 40 minutes, we decided to leave, whereupon the staff said, "You don't want anything." We pointed out that after not being helped for 40 minutes, we absolutely didn't want anything. However, this was not appreciated, and we received an angry look. Don't go here; there is much better in Amsterdam.

The restaurant's location is nice, but the food wasn't what I expected, and the price was too high. The service was poor (I asked for the pizza to be cut, and they brought me a cutter to do it myself). The waiter wasn't smiling or welcoming and seemed annoyed by the service; I think he was Egyptian. I ordered a pizza, and the chicken tasted unclean and had an unpleasant flavor. The pasta was undercooked, and the chicken had the same bad taste. The steak was very tough and tasted like it was grilled in the desert. The drinks were medium-sized and small, and they didn't have a larger selection. The price was also exorbitant.

The Al Salmon pasta was excellent. Good portion for the price. The tortellini could have been a bit larger, but they were also delicious. The service was friendly and pleasant – everything was great.

A disastrous experience: uninvolved servers, an excessively long wait, all for bland and carelessly prepared food, as if it had just come out of the freezer or a can. The server who took our payment didn't even say goodbye. Terrible!

Frankly, a very bad experience. The dishes were served in ridiculously small portions, almost like appetizers, and some plates came with sauces that were far too diluted, as if they'd been watered down. The service was also very unpleasant and unwelcoming. We were even asked for ID to order a beer, which made the experience even more unpleasant. And for an Italian restaurant, the carbonara was frankly disappointing: poorly prepared, far from what one expects from a real Italian carbonara. In short, very poor value for money, insufficient portions, disappointing food, and very unpleasant service. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

One star because I can't give less. They bring you a beer that's clearly bad, and when you tell them, they take it away but still charge you for it. Bad food and bad service. I'll never be back.

We’ve eaten at several of the restaurants around Rembrandt Square and we returned to this one because the food is delicious. It might look like a tourist trap because of the location, but we were genuinely surprised by the quality of the food. The prices were reasonable also given the quality and the setting. Both the Salmon Della Casa and the Salmon pasta dish are top notch.

A lovely spot to sit on a warm day. The value for money on the food and drinks is good; we had a delicious pizza and an Aperol Spritz. Definitely recommended for a nice lunch or dinner.

Hygiene is a problem, the location is nice. The staff are rude. Not worth the trip.

The Aperol Spritz is small, the steak is small, overcooked and tough, they don’t have good-quality olive oil, and the burrata salad is basically just burrata with a few leaves of arugula and a few cherry tomatoes.

The meal itself was generally awful – I bought calamari in fritters and got calamari in breadcrumbs. After leaving the restaurant, I was burping like crazy. I'll never eat calamari again after that, and it was my favorite food. 🦑🤢

A fairly traditional pizzeria with authentic Italian flavor, in a prime location in the center of Amsterdam. Prices are on the higher side, but good overall. I'll definitely be back to try other options on the menu, which looks extensive.

We came from France, a group of four friends. "Welcomed" is an understatement. We were greeted by a rather unpleasant, dark-haired waitress in her fifties. We ordered three beers, one iced tea, and a charcuterie board. The waitress stayed with us to ask about our order. We asked to wait a bit until we'd finished our drinks before ordering our food, to avoid having to eat everything at once. We waited 15 minutes after receiving our drinks for the charcuterie board. The waiter cleared our cutlery, which was appreciated with the charcuterie board. We asked for more cutlery for our pizzas, which the waitress didn't appreciate. She sighed and practically threw the cutlery onto the table. Admittedly, we're just tourists and don't eat here every week, but I think a little courtesy would be expected. It's a shame because the pizzas were good, and the waitress's colleague was actually quite nice. We come to Amsterdam every year, and we certainly won't be returning to this establishment. We spent €146.80 that we should have spent elsewhere. €7 for four small pieces of stale bread. In another restaurant, these rolls and the breadboard weren't charged. We usually leave a €5 tip for the waiter or waitress, but not this time. The cleanliness of the restrooms needs improvement.

I reiterate the previous comments: a complete tourist trap. The location is great, but the food and service are a disaster. Overpriced and poor quality.

Wonderful service and great food!

This was, without question, the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Before coming here, I read a lot of negative reviews and honestly thought people were exaggerating. They weren’t. If anything, the reality was even worse. I ordered the Pasta alla Burrata, expecting fresh, creamy burrata. Instead, I was served an overcooked plate of bland spaghetti topped with what looked and tasted nothing like burrata. When I questioned it, the waiter spoke to the kitchen and came back saying it was “a different type of burrata.” That explanation was simply unbelievable. The staff were extremely eager to get people through the door while they were looking at the menu outside. Once you were seated and had ordered, the service completely changed. When I asked for help, one of the Italian staff members literally rolled his eyes at me. To their credit, they offered me a small 30 cl beer as compensation, but that didn’t change the experience. The restaurant itself felt dirty and poorly maintained. The restroom was filthy, and the overall cleanliness of the place was far below what I would expect. I left hungry and ended up eating at McDonald’s instead. Looking back, I wish I had trusted the negative reviews. Don’t make the same mistake I did. There are countless better restaurants in Amsterdam that actually deserve your money.

Simply sitting opposite the Rembrandt statue. Perfect for a quick break. The pizzas were delicious. The dough was great, and the staff even had a smile for us.

The lasagna was just okay, the carbonara was completely tasteless and almost just overcooked pasta.

The restaurant is located on one of tge prime spots in Amsterdam. We ordered two pizzas and a salad. A quatro formaggi and a pizza burrata. I asked which cheeses they use for the quatro formaggi. Sadly one of the four is a Dutch cheese. I asked notvto have that one as that is not Italian. The pizza's arrived and mine was slightly over cooked and my friends got a pepperoni pizza instead of the burrata. They did rectify it but his burrata pizza wasn't cooked through enough. My salad never arrived in the end. Luckily it was not on the bill which saved a discussion. The waiters were nice and kind, when we gave them the feedback. I told them that the manager or owners need to take a serious look at how they run their business. Italian food is based on good simple products. Keep it simple and good quality and you have the opportunity to be a great place in Amsterdam.

The pizza is good, but the service is a disaster. We ordered a pizza, a beer, a Sprite, and a bottle of water for my son. The pizza and the beer arrived, but after asking twice, the Sprite finally came after we had already finished our meal. When they brought us the bill, they still tried to charge us for both the Sprite and the water. There were plenty of staff, but they were poorly organized and the service was very poor.

Hayet was great and the food was excellent. Have had Italian pizzas before but this was super fresh and cooked perfectly.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. AVOID RESTAURANT. We ordered two pasta dishes (one was undercooked). We then asked for a pizza, the lady took our order and never came back to our table. We called her over after 30 mins, which she then LIED and said she never came to our table and said we didn’t order anything. We were the only ones sitting inside during the time. Horrible restaurant and terrible service. Avoid at all costs 👎👎👎
