Spectacular place, wonderful staff. I recommend it 100%. Great food, delicious pasta and pizza. We forgot our cell phone and we had all the staff's collaboration and they sent it to us in Spain. A 10 in every way. We hope to return another time we visit Amsterdam.

Thanks to the previous reviews that scared us away!!!! Help! We arrive and order a beer and a glass of white wine (hot and bad) The state of the tables and cards is filthy! Then we realize that we have 2 cards with the same menus but different prices... that's enough for us we decide to leave and inevitably they try (I mean try) to make us pay the price of the most expensive card. Dear And when paying instead of 7.90€ they type: 10790€ Run away!!!!!!

They charge you 6.50 for a glass of Coca-Cola, we ordered a plate of sausage and they are frozen, the spaghetti carbonara was not carbonara, and they were not good, the pizza had chewy dough, with all this it is very expensive and very bad quality.

Anyone who comes expecting to eat “Italian” food is wrong. There is not the slightest idea of ​​Italian cuisine. We ate pasta, pizza and focaccia and it was all very embarrassing. There is none of the staff who speaks Italian, there is no reference. I don't recommend it in the slightest.

The 2 of me had dinner here on a Saturday evening around 6:00 PM. The service was admittedly crap. We were told where to sit, we were not talked to, cutlery was suddenly taken away to give to other customers. The main course arrived at the same time as the (warm) starter. Employees walked around in body warmers and other unusual, non-representative clothing. Food itself tasted good.

We were here for dinner yesterday and today. It was quite full. Nevertheless, all the waiters were very friendly, the food was great, everything came to the table quickly and hot. We ate pizza, pasta, steak and meat. Everything was very tasty. Thanks to the heaters we were able to sit comfortably outside.

Rude staff for first just because they saw a group of guys literally respecting the place and wanted to order it took us just less than 7 minutes to order and within those 7 minutes they nagged and insisted to annoy us 4 times just because we are group of guys not some couples and when we were about to order they did it again then we left the table

Too salty, frozen pizzas! To flee!

1) zero hygiene levels (products to kill insects stored next to the cards) dirty tables, dirty toilets, dirty cutlery, the very dirty menu card sticks to your fingers... 2) waiters, gentleman sits on the stairs with his phone with the volume loud, no respect for the customers who are eating, not giving grated cheese for the pasta dish, return of change not fair (lack of money )

I won't go here again. Very nice location, on Rembrandtplein. We waited about 15 minutes for the worst Irish coffee and an excellent chocolate milk. Unfortunately I forgot the whipped cream. I give the service two stars, there is a very strange waiter walking around here who slams the door behind him and throws menus on the tables with a grave tin. The lady who brings the bill is nice and doesn't make a fuss when I indicate that I don't want to pay for a dollop of whipped cream that I haven't had.

In a city as beautiful as Amsterdam you should eat better and nicer than here. Tasteful and served carelessly.

We had a table outside next to a fireplace which made it very cozy. The service was incredibly slow, we had to wait around 40 minutes to get our drinks and starters, and our plates stayed long after we were finished. We wanted some desert but after waiting for a long while we just decided to leave since no service was in sight. Overall the food was the best part, but I would not come again

Food is tasteless. Cutlery is filthy and was not clean. Coke is not a real brand. The pasta was tasteless and the vegetables in it smelled very sour, so I didn't eat much of it.

Horrible pizza and lasagne. Pure oil, cheap ingredients and overall poorly cooked. Not real Italian food, Virgin Mary on your menus, she wouldn't even eat that dreadful food.

Horrible restaurant, we ordered 4 main, grilled meat we ask for medium and it was. Over cooked. One of my friend ask for an assortment of grilled meet and he recived just lamb, he tell to the guy this is not what he want and the guy start to be aggresiv with us like it was our fault if we don't ask the good thing. Almost forced to eat what we don't want I should put him the plate in his hand to be sure he bring it back to the kitchen..... we don't see him till the end of diner. No salt and pepper on table, nothing! The portion size are very very small ! For 25€ I get a tiny quart of an entrecote ! My spaghetti was serve with tomato but no tast at all no garlic, basil or any herbs that make Italian food so delicious. We got salad with the meat.... two slice of tomato, half leaf of lettuce and sauce tast like water ! Shame on those guys pretending being a "chef" Go far away!

The parmesan was served uncovered in a dirty bowl with the pasta. The pizza was repeatedly fixed with the thumb at several tables until it was put down. The waitress looks like bouncers at the disco all the time - unfriendly without a smile. It's better to move on and look for better restaurants.

Bad experience whilst visiting AMS, poor service level and the food wasn't on point. The waitresses barely pay attention to an unattended table, you have to do a lot of gymnastics to get served.

I can not recommend La Madonnina. While the food filled me up, it wasn't particularly memorable.

The bread is not fully baked. It looks like they bought frozen bread from the mall and baked in a hurry. The dough was not good and well baked. The wine is good. Also my friend likes lasagna. Staff is attentive. Prices are regular.

Delicious restaurant here in Amsterdam! I have tried a few and by far this one is my favorite, nice atmosphere outside , perfect location. Delicious & perfectly cooked food (I had the penne pesto) Great service! Overall it was excellent!

The food was quite ok. We ate pizzas and pasta. The whole place oozed tourist trap. The waiter was the saddest, he could have done with a little smile. Big minus for the mice (!) we saw in the kitchen when we stood in line for the toilet. Had we seen this before we ate, we probably would have left. Perhaps the environmental and health care inspector should take a trip here... Won't be a return visit.

Tourist trap. Nice location, but very mediocre food. Dry garlic bread without garlic, pancetta in the pasta almost only garlic. Unfortunately there is no Italian cuisine at all. Better to avoid.

Not good pizza, unfriendly waiters. Came there during euros (football) game, the TV was old, small, and 30 seconds behind. When we finished our drinks we immediately got the check without asking for it (basically got kicked out after we ate our food immediately). Our food came a few minutes into the match, we got "kicked out" in the 35th minute of the match. Never experienced something like this before, it was pretty crowded because of the match, so they wanted to get rid of us fast to make more money, we cannot recommend the place at all.

The food is was very mid no taste and not very clean as much as the service was not appreciative of us not finishing the food. And when trying to pay being yelled at because we are paying separately. And bathroom are very disgusting, and no tap water. In conclusion the service and the place are not very welcoming.
