Superb place, very friendly welcome, reasonably timed service, and good food... €40 per person for an aperitif with cheese bruschetta, main courses, drinks, desserts, and coffee... very reasonable. A shout-out to the doorman! 👌

Not a bad spot for some late night eats, but its nothing special. Staff is very enthusiastic and almost pushes you to order things. Pizza was sadly bland, we had 7 pizzas and a few entrees and apps. Had some beers and just enjoyed our time. The positive thing is they were able to seat 12 of us without a reservation.

€23 for a Margherita pizza is ridiculously expensive, a real tourist trap. They charge exorbitant extras on top of the bill (for example, €8 for a bottle of water). However, the service was quick and the staff were pleasant.

Phantastic food, really friendly and helpful staff and a genuine atmosphere. If you want to get away from the tourist traps an have an authentic experience of proper Italian hospitality go to Marco Polo in Amsterdam!

I go here everytime with my girlfriend the staff and owner and cooks I know very well I was here just 2 weeks ago I get margarita pizza everytime I eat here and my girlfriend gets chicken dish and everytime I come here the food is 10/10 big shout out to the owner and the chef you know who I am lol from Glasgow simply the best see you in the summer ps you prob remember me and my girlfriend medium cola always

Our family was looking for a place to eat for five, and the staff at this establishment moved some customers to another table so we could all sit together! Excellent service, a very pleasant atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The food wasn't great. We paid 75 for two dishes and two beers. The pasta carbonara was served as pasta with sausage.

The food is absolutely delicious at marco polo. It came out freshly cooked and they use quality ingredients. The service was fast and the staff are very welcoming and hospitable. Me and my girlfriend got 1 full English breakfast and 1 big breakfast a side of hash brows and a latte, a cappuccino, and an extra round of toast the bill total was €40 this included at 10% discount as we stayed at The Dam hotel. To finish of a lovely experience our waiter gave use some beautiful tasting melon chelo as a complimentary bonus. Would definitely recommend giving this place a go.

When we walked in, the staff welcomed us enthusiastically and assured us that the food at their place was amazing. And indeed, the food was very delicious, the portions were just right, and the pizza and pasta were more than delicious. I highly recommend a visit to the restaurant. The atmosphere was great, with beautiful music and paintings.

as we entered, the servers enthusiastically welcomed us and assured us that the food at their place was amazing. however, unfortunately, this statement couldn’t be further from the truth. food tasted nowhere, and i repeat NOWHERE as nice as it looks. the pizza had little to no taste at all apart from the distinct taste of flour. both pastas were extremely underwhelming in terms of flavour. this has got to be the worst pasta i’ve tasted in a restaurant. in general, all the food we ordered were really bland. the food portion was huge, and that’s the only good thing we have to say about the food there. your money would definitely be better spent in another restaurant.

The dishes are good, the service was a bit slow, and the staff was very friendly, with a smile and a little note for the French customers we were. In short, we'll come back for dinner if the opportunity arises.

Is it because we're Asian? We were the only ones who didn't get ketchup and mayonnaise. And when they were paying, they called me "Mam." It really pissed me off. Asians, please don't go to this place. (Don't be fooled by the man who smiles and solicits customers to come in.)

A day in Amsterdam and I got stranded at this restaurant. There were plenty of choices, but this one was the right one... The food was delicious; the fries could have been a bit longer, but that's just part of the flavor. Reasonable prices for what you get. The toilet is accessible via a long staircase, so if you have mobility issues, consider this carefully. It started to rain, and without warning, we were kept dry by a quickly placed umbrella. Close to Central Station, which is a 5-minute walk away. The staff is friendly and funny. All in all, a good experience.

I really enjoyed this place. I admitted it’s in the middle of the central district of Amsterdam and very close to the central train station, and yes, it is a bit touristy, but the staff was very pleasant and the food was very good. It also offered a variety of gluten-free options, including both pasta and pizza, which was very nice since most of the Italian restaurants in Amsterdam only offer gluten-free pasta and not pizza. It’s friendly here, and if you sit outside, there is an excellent opportunity to people watch. I do not think you’ll be disappointed, if you’re looking for a casual but quality experience.

Very good, the service is friendly and courteous. The prices are not too expensive. I went twice during my stay in Amsterdam since I liked it the first time. The waffle for dessert is excellent.

The burger was cold, there was hair on the plate, and there were fingernail clippings on the table. We paid €50 for two people, which is simply unacceptable and disappointing.

We were not really sure about eating in Amsterdam Central but we took the risk, and surprisingly the food was good. The waiter was nice and friendly. I think I am coming back!! Highly recommend!! 🙏

Frozen pizza, no taste, very disappointed for a high price, the waitress herself made us order one entree, I had to insist twice to make her understand that I didn't want one. I ate well at the Marco Polo pizzeria and not next door, as the restaurant owner said, I ordered a peperoni.
