The pizzas were good, and the service was also excellent. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in Amsterdam again.

Stumbled upon this restaurant one wet night. Was absolutely stunning with the Christmas decs and so nice people watching through the window. Food was delicious (we had pasta and pizza), vibe was great, staff were so lovely! Would highly recommend!

A special greeting to the kind waitress who recommended the pepperoni pizza to us, and when my dear asked what the carbonara was like, she also recommended the same one. And really, the food was very well balanced and tasty.

A magnificent place! The taste of the dough, thinness of the pizza, quality of the ingredients, all come together with the expertise of the chef to become a wonderful pizza. We had Carnivore Pizza and it was amazing. Such a lovely and friendly host as well! This place is a must visit when in Amsterdam.

Delicious food. We tried pizza and pasta. Service and delivery were fast. A nice, pleasant atmosphere for the rainy and cold weather. I recommend it. Good prices!

The truth is that I was surprised by how good everything was... and a super important detail that you rarely see in places was the waiter making sure that the grated cheese was not missing from the dough... for a cheese freak it was a detail that I loved.

I ordered focaccia and risotto, accompanied by a Heineken. The service was very prompt, the food delicious, and the beer on point. Before leaving, they gave me a delicious lemonade. I highly recommend it.

We went for several nights since we were staying nearby. We were always treated well, quickly, and the food was excellent. There are heaters under the awning (terrace).

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. After sitting down and waiting 45 minutes, no staff member came to take our order or even explain the situation. Despite several eye contacts with the staff, no one intervened, so we decided to leave the restaurant. As we were leaving, a server gave us a very strange look, which almost gave the impression that we were right to leave and that we simply weren't welcome. This is disrespectful behavior, and I strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone looking to have a pleasant time in Amsterdam.

The food was average, and it took a long time to arrive, given that it was midday and the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered a calzone, and they didn't list the ingredients.

All I can say is amazing pizza and an even better overall dining experience! My girlfriend, her brother, and I have been coming here three days in a row, and every visit has been fantastic. Delicious pizza. You could even create your own. And all in Dutch, which is really nice and unique these days.

A slightly disappointing experience, mainly for the service but also for the prices. However, the prices displayed are very reasonable for the food, but the prices for basic necessities are far from appealing (not to mention the exorbitant price of water)(water: €2.50 for 25 cl). As for the service, don't expect a smile, but rather expect the impression of disturbing you when you arrive after 8 p.m. In short, the previous reviews don't really reflect our experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The portions were hearty, and in my opinion, this was a very fair price. It was a very warming and tasty meal, and I think this place doesn't get enough credit. I recommend it.

I came here 2 years ago and left thinking it was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I returned recently and it lived up to the extremely high expectations I built up in my head. I got the Carnivore pizza. Best pizza ever. The dough is made in house and is amazing, the cheese and sauce are incredible. The meats, which are arguably the best part, add so much flavor. I will continue to come to this restaurant every time I am in Amsterdam.

Weingläser schmutzig und hoffentlich nur nach der Spülmaschine nicht richtig getrocknet. Essen so lala. So wohl die angepriesene Calzone als auch die Fish & Chips schon wesentlich besser gegessen. Service okay.

Stopped here to grab a bite to eat. Had the insalata salad a can of Coke ( asked for zero sugar tho) a cider and pepperoni pizza . All items total $29 euro which was very fair and more than reasonable for everything I ordered . Is it quality authentic ? in my opinion no. But it was edible and hit the spot. Service at start was quick but slow when I wanted to leave.

Great quality food and friendly, pleasant service.

Bought Pasta and Mojito. Pasta was very tasteless. I asked spicy, it was zero spiced and zero flavor. The Mojito was just Lemon juice and thats it. I wouldn’t recommend.

We ate for 2 people, 2 pizzas (ok pizza it was good), we asked for a carafe of water, which he brought back and served us, however we were not informed of the price, on arrival €5.90 for water... Toilets a little disgusting by the way

Sehr nett, authentisch italienisch, sehr lecker, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir hatten Calzone und Spagetti Bolognese. Beides war sehr lecker und große Portionen. Die Bolognesesoße war wie ich sie aus Italien kenne.

Went here in the afternoon to eat. Was very tasty! Waitress was also very nice with our child and very friendly. We ordered the Risotto Pollo Con Porcini which tasted very good and the Pizza Gorgonzola Speciale was also very tasty. The rest of the family also had a good time with the Ravioli Samone, the Focaccia and the Zuppa Minestone. Recommended!

We had made a reservation and were allowed to choose one of 3 tables ourselves. Then there was some confusion because that table had been specifically reserved by someone else. We couldn't have known that and it didn't matter because we had to leave on time for a performance. I gave the tip to put a sign on a table with: reserved with time added. We had a delicious and enjoyable meal!

I ordered 4 cheese pizza and wine. It's a very pleasant place and the pizzas were delicious.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Very delicious food, good atmosphere and the waitress's treatment was excellent, we didn't know much English and she speaks a little Spanish and went out of her way to help us. At the end of eating we asked her for recommendations to visit and she was very attentive explaining places to see Amsterdam. For food we ordered lasagna (highly recommended, it was spectacular), spinach and cheese ravioli, and Milanese, and we were quite full.

Yesterday we sat on the terrace with a group of elderly people with dementia. Super friendly service and nice atmosphere! Definitely come back here again

In Amsterdam or in any case in this street there are a lot of Italian type restaurants, I do not recommend this one although the pizza was good, the 2 pasta dishes were tasteless. Normal service, nothing more, nothing less, the waiter was friendly and smiling. So no dessert, and no limoncello offered for our table either…I don’t know on what criteria it is….

À Amsterdam ou tout cas dans cette rue il y a beaucoup de restaurant type Italien, je ne conseil pas celui ci malgré que la pizza était bonne, les 2 plats de pâtes étaient sans goût. Un service normale, ni plus ni moins, le serveur a été sympa et souriant. Donc pas de dessert, et pas de offert limoncello non plus pour notre table …je ne sais pas sur quel critère il l’est….

Cibo molto buono, quantità abbondante. Sembra di essere in Italia. Cameriere molto cordiale. Ci è stato offerto anche l’amaro. Prezzi conformi con il resto della città.

The pizza was super tasty! The crust was nice and crispy and the pizza was thin. The waiters were also very friendly, attentive and always had a smile.

As regular visitors to Amsterdam and not always for a special occasions this is our ‘go to’ restaurant for a bite to eat knowing you’re going to get good food and service at reasonable prices. The menu is plentiful with a choice for all tastes. Service is always with a smile and a thank you when you leave.

I found this place back in 2018 by mistake. I've made it a priority to return each time I'm in Amsterdam! It's 100% worth it. The food is amazing, the staff is very polite and friendly, it's worth a visit as a single, couple or family.

Best Italian in Amsterdam! And amazing atmosphere

Stodgy and insipid — nothing remotely special... A rainy afternoon walk home led to a sudden stoned urge for Italian food so I ducked into Piccolino. Never been before. Thought I'd give it a shot. An album or playlist of English and American 80s classics wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I didn't let it put me off. I didn't even let the naff decor and the Sofia Loren posters put me off. Four euros for a small glass of ginger beer was irritating though and the food when it came, was not great. It wasn't even particularly good to be honest. I ordered a tagliatelle carbonara thing, which is a fairly simple dish, but this one was stodgy and really very tasteless. I had to use most of the thick-grated parmesan to get through it. And remember, I was stoned at the time, which means I was not difficult to please.... I'm sorry, you know? I hate giving bad reviews and I wish every place was great, but it's just not. I won't be returning to this place.

Ate for the 2nd time during a day trip to Amsterdam. We will definitely come back here next time. Delicious food, excellent wine and fast service. The only thing that strikes me is that 2 people at the service (including the presumed owner) are very cheerful and prompt. Number 3 just walks around like he'd rather not talk to people.

The ambiance truly brings a touch of Italy, and the food selection is both authentic and delicious. The staff is warm and attentive, making you feel welcome from the start. It’s a place you’ll look forward to returning to.

The establishment is extremely uncomfortable! Very dirty, eye glasses, unpleasant smell in the establishment, old furniture! Steak with a taste of rotten meat!

The location is good - on a busy tourist street, but the establishment needs cleaning and updating of furniture. The pizza was ordinary, the steak was overcooked and not tasty at all. I got the impression that the meat was frozen and not fresh. Lasagna and tiramisu were delicious. I cannot recommend and do not understand enthusiastic reviews. There are many places with tastier cuisine.

Buen lugar entre algunos restaurantes pobres de la zona. Estaba sorprendentemente ocupado para un martes por la noche en noviembre, así que hubo una espera para pedir y luego para que llegara la comida, que estaba bien, ya que las mesas se sirven a su vez y significa que la comida se prepara fresca.
