The pizzas are delicious, but the oven hasn't been working for ages. I had to wait two hours! Please fix it!

Service was fine. We did not enjoy the focaccia or the baguette. Too much sauce

Terrible matcha that tastes like sweet milk and nothing else. Asked if they could add more matcha or redo it but they refused. Do yourself a favour and skip this place if you want to save yourself some money.

Delicious freshly squeezed juice, good coffee, and a great sandwich with delicious pesto. It's a shame everything is disposable. A cup for your coffee would be nice.

The coffee was good. The cheese rolls weren't warm enough, and there wasn't a takeaway plate. The staff was friendly, though.

I have now asked 4 times at a La Place branch whether something contains lactose. The answer is always 'probably yes' or 'probably not'. Asking questions doesn't help, the staff really doesn't know. Besides the fact that it is a legal obligation, it is also customer-friendly to know whether there are allergens in the products you sell. I have submitted a complaint to the NVWA.

Cant pay here with cash. Inconvenient in emergencies and for the elderly. !A cashless society is the beginning of a social creditsystem like china where government follows you everywhere. People havent learned anything from ww2 where you dont want to help build infrastucture where governments can track you everywhere

I always like La Place for the fresh ingredients. I was hungry after lunch but I'm never convinced by the many junk food options offered at the central station. Very happy with the pita bread sandwich I got here: roast beef, rucola, parmezan flakes, truffle mayonnaise and pumpkin & sunflower seeds.

What a dismal intention, sticky tables, dirty floor, dirty coffee from Leon for € 2.60, 5 cents for the plastic layer in the cardboard cup, pigeons flying around and screaming staff at Julia's. Maybe you shouldn't sit there but take your train straight away, because it doesn't get more attractive here.

Sat alone, tables not very clean, while we were sitting there an NS host tried to clean a bit. Later I had a latte macchiato and a cappuccino. These were certainly tasty. But the food we had from the neighbors, Leon, was really bad. Conclusion LaPlace good as far as the coffee is concerned and Leon really (wraps and fries) very bad. I also posted a separate review about that.

I’ve ordered a tea but the water was not hot and the tea was not brewed. I’ve asked the manager to give me another cup of tea, and it was also not hot. They told me that it’s impossible to make hot water at their place. I’ve asked for my money, but the manager told me it’s impossible to return money at their place.

After a long drive, take a quick pee and eat a sandwich. Not all 2 toilets would be defective. Something tells me that's not true...

Today June 24, 2023 1:00 PM I was here because I wanted a coffee. Two women who work here have their backs to me the entire time. On "good afternoon" one of them looks around with a grumpy look. Then I say "hello" and again I get no response. I decide not to spend a cent here where you are treated in such a customer-unfriendly way! Just rude!

An egg salad sandwich from La Place has become a weekly ritual. A really delicious sandwich to start the day! Every week combined with a nice chat and a big smile from those nice girls. Soon the last time, I'm going to miss it! Thanks ladies!

When I'm in the area I always drop by to eat tomato soup for 4'25 is still doable but in general La place is expensive but good

Today, May 13, 2023, I spent a day with my girlfriend in Utrecht by train with a free sandwich and something to drink at La Place station hall Utrecht. We arrived here around 3.15 pm and there were some packaged dehydrated sandwiches with wet lettuce and a dehydrated slice of cheese, only white, while we always eat brown. The employee was also not willing to make a fresh sandwich for us even though they only closed at 5 p.m. We are very disappointed because we know that things can be done differently, for example at La Place in Leeuwarden, it was just great there!! Many people with a daily train offer and free sandwich and drinks came after us and they also found this disappointing. As an owner, I would pay more attention to this, as this costs customers and people. So I DO NOT recommend La Place Utrecht!!! A DISAPPOINTED TRAVELER😢

It started as soon as I entered, I was given such dirty looks. I thought I was looking at it wrong, but my intuition was correct: the person I was paying with looked at me arrogantly and responded very curtly. Then I wanted to sit at a table, but all the tables had not been cleaned properly and there were crumbs on the floor. So dirty! There was also very little variety in food, and it wasn't even tasty. Finally, an employee also came by and asked if I could clean up the mess that was around me (which I didn't do). So antisocial. I'll never come here again!

Opening hours are not taken very closely here. Do you make a reservation at 2 p.m.? You arrive and they take a “break” for an hour. Spoiled girls behind the counter who react irritated when you ask when they will open again. Shame, I was hungry.

I come from the Achterhoek, so after that trip I always fancy a sandwich... so I always start here before shopping... wonderfully fresh or they will be made later. The seating area is not very cozy but it is easy to maintain...and enjoy the diversity of people from the window...Beautiful in the city you can be even more yourself, I love it 😘

You know how it is, the NS is delayed again for a vague reason that your teacher really wouldn't have accepted in the past. Only option: drink your misery away. Fortunately, the Laplace lady had made me a perfectly delicious chocolate milk. Kudos!

Had a nice fresh sandwich with salmon and a delicious fresh strawberry smoothie. However, I was shocked by the price. 10.45 euros. The staff was otherwise friendly and I understand why they do it for this price. Ultimately you don't get served rubbish, like at other places in Utrecht CS.

I wanted to kill some time by using something before going to the Jaarbeurs, but La Place Express can only be reached via the station hall. This means that you must check in and out and have sufficient balance on an OV chip card. Only take-out is possible on the outside. Very annoying and impractical.

Chicken bean sprouts sandwich used to be my favorite, but there is hardly any dressing left on it so it is much too dry. Shame.

Reasonable quality considering the price. It's just a shame that you only get everything in a paper cup or on paper plates.

The staff was disinterested. The strawberry smoothie was very sour. They exchanged it without asking for another one that was slightly less sour. They also didn't know what to do with the NS offer while they were at the station. Far below par for a La Place establishment.

Today I got a cup of coffee at Laplace. I must honestly say that I was very disappointed. It didn't taste good at all and I'm quite angry about it. Buy a cup of coffee and get something that tastes worse than ditch water.

I travel to work via Utrecht Central Station three times a week. And I always get my delicious cappucino at La Place. Friendly and fast service, so I never have to wonder if I'll catch my connecting train. Cheers ladies!

A boy with Surinamese or Caribbean roots works here. This guy is worth GOLD! I've had a sandwich here for breakfast at 6:30 a dozen times. He was always cheerful, helpful and funny. AT HALF-SEVEN PEOPLE. And to make it complete; This morning was my last time at Utrecht CS because I have another job. He was sorry that I wouldn't be coming back and spontaneously gave me a 50% discount with his own staff card. Thanks man! I'll say it again: nothing but praise! If only there were more people like that.

Omg. I love hema. You can get good food only for 2.5 euro (stampot or wings with french fries). And for breakfast, you can pay only for 1 euro. If you come one hours before it close. You will get more discount for their restaurant. Another things in Hema also good and cheap, their sell clothes, blanket, etc. Especially in the end of year, they will you very good deals. Hema is one of the dutch culture i guess😊😊😊

Apparently new opening hours suddenly. Was here on Tuesday and if you open at 7 am, open at 7 am and not 10 past 7 because you want to chat with each other. It has been a drama at the cash register for months, asking twice for what you want and getting the wrong coffee has happened to me several times. This branch clearly lacks a manager. Too bad... When will it get better?
