Nice place and tasty food/pastries and delicious coffees.

An ensemble of KFC, McDonald's, and La Place is situated on the site of the "old Vrolijkheid". In terms of decor, the La Place restaurant exudes the atmosphere of the former V&D. A tried and tested recipe...... The food is good and plentiful, the service is friendly, and the price is acceptable. You can sit comfortably; various seating areas have been created. The toilets are spacious and clean.

Had a nice meal at La Place. There is plenty of choice and the food tasted good. Everything looked neat and fresh, and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere was also relaxed, and it was pleasant to sit here for a while.

Always a healthier alternative than other roadside restaurants. Wide selection, friendly staff, and ample parking too.

Upon arriving at half past seven, the ‘hot’ kitchen turned out to be closed. This was also stated on the website, but as it turned out, everything had already been cleared away. No sandwiches or pastries left either. Only soup and drinks were available to order. Useless.

Last Sunday, I had a bite to eat here with my partner. Around 7:30 PM, the staff were already busy clearing up. The salad bowls were empty, and everyone seemed mainly focused on wrapping up the day. My partner's first steak was well-done instead of medium rare. Fortunately, after checking, he received a new one. However, the steak was very small and, in my opinion, not commensurate with the price. My chicken burger with cheese was tasty, though; that should be mentioned as well. Later, I ordered an iced coconut coffee with whipped cream. Initially, it was made without whipped cream because the machine had already been cleaned. I was asked what I wanted instead, even though I had simply paid for the order as listed on the menu. Eventually, the machine was turned on after all, but clearly reluctantly. You could tell that almost all the staff wanted to wrap up the day. This was palpable in the service and friendliness. Unfortunately, this was the last time for me at La Place.

Ended up here by chance for a drink and a sandwich. It was fresh and tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Iced coffee and an apple and nut pastry. The iced coffee was not iced coffee, but lukewarm coffee. The apple and nut pastry was without nuts, just a regular sppel pastry.

I tried the tomato soup and the cappuccino. They were delicious.

We went there spontaneously this morning and had breakfast. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and fresh, and the juices were freshly squeezed. The staff were very friendly and funny, truly no comparison to Germany. Everyone was laughing, kind, and in a great mood. We will definitely come back. Eating outside on the terrace in the sunshine was also a really lovely experience. Thank you very much!

Had breakfast with my grandson via Social Deal. For breakfast, you could choose from various sandwiches. Not at all; the employee just said, "Yes, the offer is ending (until tomorrow), so there isn't much left." What nonsense, because people coming tomorrow won't get anything then? Sorry, but this is unacceptable; I paid for it! Not good publicity, not for Social Deal either. I have lunch tomorrow; I wonder what I'll find then.

Great spot for a cup of coffee, cake, or sandwich. It does close quite early, so it doesn't work for dinner. There is a small terrace outside, and inside there is a place for (small) kids to play. Also a great place to do some work.

If you love fresh, delicious croissants, this is the best choice after a busy day, especially with a cup of coffee.

Definitely not child-friendly. The enthusiasm of a 2-year-old was not appreciated, and this was clearly stated.

Sandwiches not well filled .. coffee to go surcharge 2.50 extra. Better to go across the street to FEBO, no surcharge and you get treated better.

Stopped for lunch at La Place during the journey... the ham sandwich (pistolet) was a bit hard, but I was free to let the chef put it in the oven for a little while longer... There was a dead animal on my ham sandwich, little choice otherwise, and I was shocked by the price.

La Place, basically just as you've come to expect. I decided to order a Pizza Funghi; it was made by hand for me right after I placed my order and baked in a stone oven. The Pizza Funghi was very tasty; it had plenty of mushrooms on it, and combined with the white sauce, it had plenty of flavor. The staff was very friendly, and the seating was sufficient and clean. So, a great experience!

We were there at 10 o'clock but there were no sandwiches yet; the friendly man behind the counter made two for us.

Had coffee and pastries. The coffee was fine, you can't really fault it. The cheesecake and brownie, on the other hand... sour and chemically made, rock-hard and dried out. What a shame.

From the outside, it looks incredibly cozy. If you're thinking about popping in for a meal at La Place, you'll quickly end up spending what you'd pay at a full-fledged restaurant. We wanted to take advantage of a "special offer" that rarely appears these days. At first, it seemed nonexistent, but eventually, they were able to make it. And guess what? The focaccia rolls were burnt and now resembled honeycomb. When we pointed this out to the staff, they were incredibly difficult, as usual. I guess hospitality isn't in the staff handbook. You're trying to eat quietly, and all you hear are the screams and shouts of children. This also reverberates because of the echo downstairs. If you'd like to find a quiet spot upstairs, you can't because it's closed off, and that's where the staff takes their breaks. Welcome to La Place.

Always something at La Place. Today it was the focaccia rolls. The edges were burnt, so they cut them off. The rolls were hexagonal with all sorts of corners. This also made the roll smaller, but La Place deemed it unnecessary to compensate. They wanted to serve it on something else that didn't match the dish. That you dare to serve something like that to the customer, and then talk to them like that, is scandalous. At La Place, the customer has to eat what's on the menu. There, that's clear now. Thank you, La Place. And for that price? Disgusting. Don't think the customer is king at La Place. Because they'd prefer you just keep your mouth shut, pay, and sit down. Well, now we know what's going on.

The food is good and tasty. Freshly prepared sandwiches, etc. There are some real hygiene issues here and there. A lot of dust, especially on the lamps above the tables. Spiderwebs, etc. Pay a little more attention to this, and it's a great option for a simple breakfast or lunch.

It was fun, the staff was friendly, and it was delicious. I had a beef burger, and you could also choose whether you wanted bacon and cheese. THERE WERE ALSO KINDER SURPRISE EGGS!!!!

I had a good meal this time (in Zwolle), but my previous experience in Harderwijk wasn't as good. Generally, the La Place restaurants were somewhat better when they were part of V&D.

We had a delicious meal here. But the disappointment came when we tried to return the deposit-laden water bottle, which wasn't possible! I'd never even heard of a restaurant charging a deposit. The staff's behavior—"take your bottle and exchange it elsewhere"—is bizarre.

We went here for lunch, and there wasn't a wide selection, as I'm used to from La Place. They've never heard of customer service here. The food is also subpar, and prices are just like everywhere else these days, which is incredibly high. And if the food is also bad, you'll never see me again.

Bij binnenkomst viel het direct tegen: er was weinig aanbod en de zaak maakte geen frisse of uitnodigende indruk. De keuze was beperkt en het geheel oogde wat rommelig. Ik bestelde een hamburger, maar deze was helaas niet goed gaar. Erg jammer, want je verwacht bij La Place toch een bepaalde standaard. Geen fijne ervaring, ik kom hier voorlopig niet terug.

Nice La Place, which is also open later in the evening, often a stop for us to eat on the way to the North. La Place Zwolle was full of activity from staff and guests, the space is sensitive to noise pollution, many tables for indoor and outdoor seating. Self-service with a compact food lane, hot dishes prepared on the spot and collected via a buzzer. Friendly people in the kitchens. Come, eat and go affair with a comfortable chair and a neat appearance.

Soup didn't look good, sandwiches were wilted, and the chicken satay was inedible. Fries limp, in short, never again la place. While it was once so reliable and good.

Things were not going well during this period. Next week. Then we'll go again.

Good and tasty, Service is also very good

The lady tells us that the birthday receipt for the free cake cannot be scanned and that we have to call customer service ourselves. Then she says that the points we have honestly negotiated for cannot be surrendered. She says that she only sometimes scans customers and sometimes not, which seems like nonsense to me! Customer service keep an eye on this la Place because they refuse points and vouchers for the birthday. The solution was that we could pay it even though the voucher had expired tomorrow, really ridiculous. We had to call customer service ourselves tomorrow because it was closed today, which seems to me to be a task of the company itself. Very poor help, even though we come here very often, we eventually left. The lady who helped us was over 35 and had given her date as April 21.

I used to prefer going to V&D to having a bite to eat at La Place. You got value for your money which was very tasty. The quality is still there, the tasty selection and the memories.

11.50 for a hamburger sandwich without fries and mayo... I really don't think that's a price for la place...

Due to an allergy we wanted one sandwich topped with only cheese. Very strange that such a sandwich with two slices of cheese should cost more than six euros. The other sandwich was richly filled and just as expensive.

We walk in at 7.20 pm and are immediately told in an irritating tone that we only have 10 minutes left because the kitchen closes after 10 minutes. Well thank you, then we would rather eat somewhere else... not exactly customer friendly when you just walk in and hear that in such a tone right away. Do you like to welcome your customers or not? Missed opportunity, 8 people who have now gone elsewhere.

Burger was good to eat. Prices are ridiculously expensive. You have to pay for pretty much everything (cheese, bacon, sauce, etc). They really try to milk it to the maximum in terms of costs. Location itself cannot do much about it, but more focused on the La Place concept.

The gray-haired lady in the kitchen is honestly the most unfriendly staff I have ever experienced. The first time I came here and she responded to a perfectly normal question in a short and irritated manner, I thought it was okay. but after coming here for the 3rd time and being treated exactly the same way every time you ask a question, I actually wanted to leave after I ordered. dark man in the kitchen listened carefully to what I wanted, was very friendly and made me a delicious steak.

It's really dirty in the restaurant. The choice is severely limited and many products have run out. Furthermore, the cashier employees are mainly having fun with each other, which doesn't feel good.

Lekker eten maar wat een ongelooflijk onbeschoft (senior) personeel. Wij stonden een broodje uit te kiezen en voor ons als klant was er echt helemaal niets aan de hand. Maar de oudere mevrouw die vandaag aan het werk was vond het nodig haar personeel finaal de grond in te stampen en echt hard te schreeuwen. Gordon Ramsey is er niets bij. Jongen die bij de broodjes stond werd helemaal afgemaakt omdat hij geen bordje neer had gezet met ‘broodje kip’ terwijl hij toch al wel een half uur aan het werk was. Schreeuwen, schreeuwen en nog eens schreeuwen… Dat de jongen zo vriendelijk bleef vind ik knap. Vervolgens vroeg de man bij de koffie of hij ons kon helpen, ik zeg ja. Loopt hij weg…. Man man man. Dat zet gelijk de toon als je daar gaat eten. Hoop dat de broodjes jongen gauw een andere baan vindt. En z’n baas met Pensioen. Toedeloe. Voor de rest lekker gegeten, daarom nog 2 sterren ipv 1.

For the same price as a menu at the MC Jan you can eat a delicious meal here. Today we ordered the Vega burger and loaded fries 🍟 with pulled chicken. I had never eaten such a delicious Burger 🍔. Probably purchased at Sligro. I also had a salad in a very small bowl for 8 euros. We enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is neutral, suitable for lunch.

Nice to occasionally exchange a bonus from the La Place app and have a cup of coffee and something tasty

The food is quite okay. Especially for a chain. But the service is not good, not bad, just pretty much inapplicable. And that's fine. But not if you have to pay prices for it that you also pay to a service-oriented local entrepreneur. And at such a local business the quality is often slightly better. The location is accessible but terribly dreary. You look out on stressed motorists, some ugly utility buildings on the industrial estate, a dirty brown lump or filthy fast food shops. It's great to make an appointment easily, but the (much more inaccessible) center of Zwolle has tons of places where you get considerably more value for your money.

At the end of the afternoon the choice is limited to what is left. When I asked what was gluten free it seemed like a difficult question. Finally ate pumpkin soup and had no problems. Thought it was all quite expensive. Poor price-quality ratio.

Delicious food and great Christmas deals

8 hours just after opening, I expected it cleaner. Dirty floor and toilets. The man behind the sandwiches is very friendly, the gentleman in the white shirt seems less sympathetic. Is busy throwing the croissant on the breakfast plates, without tongs or gloves.

We had fries with chicken satay. The fries were limp. The chicken satay with chicken thighs had little taste and a lot of fat. The satay sauce did not taste like satay. Indefinable bite. And that for € 18.35 p.p. Very bad. We won't be coming back here again.

Staff just walk away. Waited 7 minutes at the cash register before anyone actually came. The coffee is also a minuscule amount for what you pay for it.

Very dirty tent, you have to be careful where you sit. Many chairs are very dirty. Dirty tables, nothing is done about it even when it is very quiet. Service is very slow, you have to wait a long time before you can even pay.
