Food: 10 out of 10 Fast service, drinks first, and they gave us time to think about the food. Atmosphere: It's Amsterdam, nothing more to say.

Very disappointing experience. The portions are small, the piza you'll get a very tiny small portion for 17 euro overpriced, and the quality is far below expectations. I paid €22 for a tiny serving of frozen calamari with bland frozen fries—completely tasteless. Definitely not worth the money. This place feels like a tourist trap, and I would not recommend it at all!👎

We had dinner here last night and everything was excellent. The pizzas were crispy, with a light crust and fresh ingredients—just like in Italy. The carbonara pasta was creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant's atmosphere was cozy and warm. A great touch: they also have a grill menu with juicy chicken and well-seasoned meat. Highly recommended for Italian food and grill lovers. We will definitely be back!

Este restaurante vende comida congelada a un precio premium. (Intentaron cobrarme 22€ por alguna tienda que compró calamares fritos congelados) no tenía sabor, ni siquiera salado. No sazonado. Los camareros y camareras eran extremadamente groseros y antipáticos. No les importan los clientes en absoluto. Sólo para ganar más dinero. Evita este restaurante a toda costa. Es una desgracia para Amsterdam. ESTA FUE LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA GASTRONÓMICA QUE HE TENIDO EN MI VIDA.

Estábamos visitando Amsterdam y nos encontramos con este restaurante. Resultó ser una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje! During our recent visit, we encountered several serious issues that future customers deserve to know about: **1. Deceptive Food Quality & Pricing** • The €8.50 "small" calamari starter (6 rings) was clearly mass-produced, frozen supermarket product - identical to what you'd find in any grocery freezer aisle • The €22.50 "large" calamari main added just 3 more rings (9 total) with basic fries and a token salad - an outrageous price for such poor quality and quantity **2. Complete Disregard for Customer Requests** • I immediately asked to cancel my main after seeing the starter's poor quality • Despite having 15+ minutes before main courses were served (standard kitchen timing), staff refused this reasonable request • They proceeded to prepare and serve the dish anyway, then demanded payment **3. Unprofessional Conflict Resolution** • When I offered to pay for consumed items (lasagne and drinks) but not the unwanted calamari, staff became argumentative • No manager intervened or attempted to find a fair solution • The entire situation was handled with complete lack of hospitality **Core Problems That Need Addressing:** ✗ False premium pricing for cheap, frozen ingredients ✗ Unjustifiable portion sizes that border on deceptive ✗ Staff untrained in basic customer service and conflict resolution The staff were awfully rude. **To Potential Diners:** Amsterdam has wonderful restaurants - this isn't one of them. The combination of poor quality, dishonest pricing, and terrible service makes this establishment unworthy of your time or money. **To Management:** You're damaging Amsterdam's dining reputation by: 1) Serving frozen supermarket products at restaurant prices 2) Ignoring reasonable customer requests 3) Failing to train staff in professional service Until these fundamental issues are fixed, expect continued negative feedback from disappointed customers.

We were looking for a place to eat and found this restaurant. We had dinner with six people. The pizza was delicious and tasted fresh. Some of us had pasta, and they really enjoyed it. We also ordered the calamari and the beef croquettes as starters, both were very good. The server was very friendly and she gave us fun spots to go to in the Netherlands. We had a great dinner and we are definitely coming back!

We were visiting Amsterdam and came across this restaurant. It turned out to be one of the best meals we had during our trip! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We started with beef crouqets, a dutch dish. A fun and way to begin the meal. For the main course, I had a pasta carbonara, very creamy and full of flavour. My partner had a pizza quattro formaggi, fresh, hot and nicely baked. The service was fast and kind, and the prices were more than fair for a city like Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

tourist trap. be careful. we ordered stuffed italian mushrooms (it was grilled champignon without any additions for 15 euro) and 4 cheese pizza (we were given inferno pizza instead). Waiter did not care about it and we had to pay for pizza we didnt order. No way we could order inferno pizza with salami when we had vegetarian friend.

Fantastische service, echt lekker eten tegen een heel goede prijs! Op Valentijsdag, avond, met een grote groep, zonder reservering, hier allerhartelijkst ontvangen en een plek gekregen. Omdat we maar 1 uur hadden ivm het programma van de surpriseparty van onze zoon zat er ook tijdsdruk op de keuken. Geen probleem, alles werd tegelijk en op de juiste temeratuur uitgeserveerd en onze zoon werd heel hartelijk gefeliciteerd en kreeg een drankje van de eigenaar. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw runnen het restaurant en zijn vrolijke blije mensen. Ik raad iedereen aan om bij een bezoek aan Amsterdam ten minste 1x in dit restaurant te gaan eten vanwege de uitmuntende keuken, de gezelligheid, de ligging nabij het leidseplein en de prima prijs per maaltijd niet te vergeten. Ben je er 1x geweest dan kom je er beslist vaker! Wie weet; tot ziens!

We were looking for a place to eat that wasn't too crowded and we passed by this restaurant. We were quickly welcomed very well. The gentleman who served us was able to answer any questions we had about the items on the menu. We ordered some dumplings as a starter (I don't remember the name) and they were delicious! For our main course we ordered cannelloni, pasta bolognese and pepperoni pizza, everything was divinely delicious and very well served. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which also did not disappoint. From the starter to the last, everything was perfectly executed. Highly recommended. When we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely visit again.

Me and my partner this October 30, 2024. Not many people but the music was nice. Very warm welcome. Pina colada and mojito excellent. Perfect vegetarian pizza and Sicilian pasta. We had a great time! Prices are correct.

Was walking around the streets of Amsterdam and found this wonderful very cozy restaurant. We ordered Spaghettis Bolognese, Half Fried Chicken, Pizza Chicken and Four cheese and a serving of Bitterbalen with Macchiato and Hot Chocolate. The host was very sweet and accommodating. Price for the food was reasonable. Service was great.

Dieses Restaurant ist unterbewertet. Wir waren auf der Suche nach Cocktails und haben dort gehalten. Es gab zwar nur 6 verschiedene, aber diese waren alle erstklassig. Bei einem Blick in die Karte merkten wir, dass auch die Speisenauswahl top war. Nicht nur Pizza und Pasta, sondern auch Gamberi, Kalbsfilet und eine gute Steak-Auswahl. Da ist für jeden was dabei, wenn man sich nicht von dem Schild neben dem Eingang abschrecken lässt, auf dem nur Fish&Chips und Schnitzel mit Pommes abgebildet sind. Bei einem Gespräch mit dem Chef haben wir erfahren, dass das Restaurant erst kürzlich übernommen wurde. Daher sind die älteren schlechten Bewertungen meiner Meinung nach hinfällig. Das Personal war engagiert, freundlich und das Essen war auch absolut super ☝️ Kann man als Geheimtipp nur empfehlen.
