The spinach quiche was amazing 🔥

I'm writing this review from inside the café itself, given the poor service. We arrived an hour before closing time and felt unwilling to serve us. Half an hour before closing, they cleared our things off the table, like the sugar bowl, etc. The coffee was expensive and nothing special.

Very bad service and the toilet was disgusting

Avocado toast with salmon? It was a dry bread with a green mayo with a thin slice of salmon and literally 4 thin slices of hard avocado… the worst thing I had in many years…. If you see the pictures you would expect a real avicado toast with smashed avocado…. And tasteful…. Waste of money…

Had a delicious omelette for breakfast with Dutch ham and cheese. The coffee is also good. Had a lemonade to quench the thirst. Service is nice and very quick with the drinks and the food. The patio overlooks a square with natural tree shading and storefronts. It's a chill place for quick bite.

Noa was very nice and it was a nice place to sit.

Food was fine, although toasted sandwich was very cold, coffee very nice, understaffed which put a lot of pressure on the servers, the girl with the short hair was super super lovely despite this and the best part of our experience.

Coolest waitress ever, so funny and nice. The place is very chill, good coffee, amazing sweets and lovely staff. Highly recommended!

This really is a great cafe. Located on a small quiet residential square, it has lots of outside seating and quite a number of sets inside. Coffee is great, with freshly baked breads and breakfast snacks. Yogurt Granola and hot cheese and ham croissants were my favourites, but there are many other options on the menu. The staff are so friendly and quickly get to know you. (We had breakfast there most mornings on our vacation)

I went for lunch at around 2 pm. We were shown to our table and our order was taken a few minutes after we arrived. After waiting for 45 minutes, we had received neither drinks nor food. We pointed out that we hadn’t been served yet, and they replied that the drinks slip had been lost and that our order was being prepared in the kitchen. After an hour, we had received only the drinks and nothing from the kitchen. We asked again, whilst the waiters around us – with the restaurant empty – were laughing, joking and having lunch in complete peace. The worst part was when the waitress who’d taken our order managed to have her own lunch in complete peace and finish it whilst we were still waiting. I strongly advise against this restaurant; the staff are completely inattentive and unprofessional.

Delicious food. Service is okay. The atmosphere is really nice. The price is good, not too expensive. Very enjoyable.

Received very warmly after being refused service at a shop on the same street where I have been a customer for many years, probably because my clothes didn't appeal to them, but it is what it is. Immediately took something tasty home for tea. Staff polite and helpful, not pushy, take their time. Found a new place in Oud Zuid.

So we went to “Le Pain Quotidien” for a late breakfast at 10:30. It was already unpleasing when we were standing in front of server lady and she just ignored us for 2-4 minutes before asking us where we want to sit. After we sat down we ordered an egg and avocado croissant with a belge waffel with red fruits and 2 homemade mint lemonades. We waited for 25 minutes just to receive our drinks and 10 minutes after came food… Lemonades were tasty but small, i would say not more than 300ml. Now we come to the food, the croissant and egg was good but i can’t say the same about avocado slices, they were not yet ripe in the middle. The waffel was tasty and berries were fresh but portion size is small, especially the waffle, for a price of 9€ you expect more. When we wanted to pay the women at cash register was not friendly and sounded pissed, so it ruined the experience once again. In conclusion it’s not bad but not good aswell. One time experience is enough and I am certain I won’t be visiting this place ever again.

We ordered something with salmon and pointed out three times that something wasn't right; we thought it was the sauce. Since we eat this often, we knew something was wrong. The waitress walked to the kitchen and then said that it was in order. Paid and left. A shame.

Everything was perfect. Megan took great care of us; she's a lovely and friendly girl. I highly recommend both the food and the atmosphere. The protein pancakes were delicious, and the avocado toast was great too.

A perfect spot for an authentic and fresh breakfast! ​I had a wonderful breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. The first thing you notice is the amazing smell of fresh bread and the warm, rustic atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to take your time and enjoy the morning. ​The food is outstanding. Everything tastes organic and homemade—from the crusty sourdough bread to the delicious pastries and soft-boiled eggs. The quality of the ingredients is clearly a priority here. Their coffee is also excellent, served in large bowls that add to the cozy feel. ​The service was very professional and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a great start to the day. If you appreciate high-quality bakery products and a calm, communal vibe, this is definitely the place to go in Amsterdam. Highly recommended for a healthy and tasty meal!

This is a place I always have breakfast at whenever I go to Amsterdam. Both the atmosphere and the breakfasts suit my taste perfectly. Sitting at the shared tables is also enjoyable, and the service is quite fast. The staff are also very helpful in guiding you according to your preferences. I think it's an ideal place for breakfast.

We stayed in Amsterdam for 5 days near the place and went for breakfast every day. It's true that it's not cheap, but it's worth it because everything is delicious, the waitresses are super friendly, so if you're in the area it's a good option

Very cozy cafe with very good brunch

Only one star because of the disastrous staff – absolutely incompetent!!! If this were my place, I would have fired them immediately! The order was taken incorrectly, and when the breakfast finally arrived, half of it was missing and we only had butter. When we asked for jam, etc., she was annoyed on top of it all! An absolute disgrace! And all that for 50€!!!!! Never again.

Coffee was horrendous. Eggs with avocado- avocado was hard as rock. Way too over priced for the quality. Waitress was attentive though. Quality of food and coffee so bad. Also very loud.

One of the nicest brunch spots we’ve discovered lately. The ambiance is perfect, calm, stylish, and great for both relaxing and working. The service are excellent each time we were there, and every dish we tried was delicious with great quality. Will for sure return ☺️💯!

Annoying, but increasingly common in Amsterdam: English-speaking service. Also annoying: giving them a menu and not telling them that exactly one thing isn't available that day until I choose and want to order it. High organic-green-sourdough-free-range content, but tasty. Lots of laptop users, shamelessly on their phones.

The food was quite nice, although the staff was extremely slow and unhelpful.

We had the soup, salad and cinnamon rolls there. I liked the food. The prices were a bit higher than the value. The staff helpful. but the big frustration for writing which i took to reviews was that while we ordered all the foods at the same time and we were at the same table, we were served at different times. I had already finished my meal when they brought the order for my daughter. It ruined our plan to spend time having lunch together. It was unprofessional and unacceptable from a restaurant having been there for quite a long time.

We were a group of 3 tourists who came to gain strength before exploring the whole day. We enjoyed the experience of a good brunch, the servers are friendly and the food is of high quality, we recommend it.

Horrible service, you wait extremely long making it not possible to eat and drink at the same time. For these the money you pay is very excessive. But more importantly one of the staff was extremely rude.

Americano — 1/2 cup served 🤦🏻‍♀️ and taste is ok but no ideas why so small portion. Latte not warm enough 😅😅 Croissant with ham & cheese is ok. Another 2 bread roll we order looks good but very dry inside. Many table are dirty and feel sorry as one staffs have to serve all in general. Meal also serve very late. Price is not cheap vs that quality, Not recommend

Non-existent service. No one said hello. Despite four waiters, it was impossible to order. When we finally managed to order, my croissant never arrived. So I didn't eat anything and had to watch my friends eat. We ended up asking for the bill. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

There's an area inside on the upper floor where you can sit, and downstairs at the counter there's a window where you can sit. There's also seating outside, as the street there is quiet.

Very sweet staff and lovely food. I had a breakfast bowl that was healthy and tasteful. Because I had a hard time choosing they surprised me with an additional Chia pudding on the side. That was such a sweet gesture. The Chia pudding was delightful either. I was really full for the rest of the day... Great coffee and bread too.
