Went here for breakfast wouldn't recommend we didn't like anything about it.

Very disappointing service. We waited outside for 20 minutes just to place an order. When we finally went inside, the staff member at the bar became upset for no reason and told us to go back outside. I was simply trying to order a drink and was being polite the entire time.

The staff is arrogant, insulting, and a bit racist. A 50% tip seems to be the norm at this establishment, as they're not satisfied with anything less. It's a shame this was the case, otherwise we would definitely have stayed longer. This is the expense I regret most this past month.

I'm there now. I ordered a triple karmeliet, the waitress brought me 2, I told her I only ordered one, and complained when I pointed it out. She was rude throughout the service because "one beer wasted". As my friends finished their drinks, the waitress cleared the table to make it clear that we had to leave. In short, a nice bar, but that's all it has.

A truly lovely café right on the Nieuwmarkt. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner inside or outside. The place has been around for ages. When you sit inside, you can fully enjoy the ambiance. It's truly quaint.

Lokaal t’ Loosje in Amsterdam is always a fun stop, especially for a refreshing La Chouffe beer when back in the Netherlands. Sit outside in the lively square, watch the world go by, and soak in the vibrant city atmosphere.

Friendly and helpful staff. Few tourists. Delicious nachos. And always a great atmosphere.

Well... in terms of price and friendly service, you're in good hands. But... which handyman wants to fix the problems in the men's room, and it doesn't smell very nice inside. And €8.50 for an Irish coffee...

Jur works here as a waiter, and he MADE our evening last night! After experiencing a fair amount of grumpy atmosphere on the square, we had a FANTASTIC evening on "his terrace." The drinks arrived super fast, he gave great advice, and he was always so helpful to all the guests—what a gem!

Both times the staff was unfriendly. Now decided not to go anymore no matter how beautiful the place is.

Had a delicious breakfast here with a carpaccio sandwich and coffee. Didn't see or notice anything of arrogant and or unfriendly service. My experience was perfectly fine, neat. The sandwich and the dressing were very tasty by the way.

"tomato" does not mean a slice of tomato here but ketchup sauce here. Asked for ham, cheese, tomato toast but never saw ham... Waitress fed up to work apparently, not friendly at all. I definitely dont recommend this place.

Brilliant service (with a smile!) - super quick and great food. For me, it’s a must visit everytime I’m in Amsterdam - it never dissapoints! It gets very busy so there can be a small wait for a table, but for me it’s worth the wait.

Super unfriendly staff! We wanted something to eat and drink. Ordered drinks and indicated that they wanted to take a look at the lunch menu and then order. They didn't come... after asking the male waiter several times to order, they still didn't come to take our order. We paid for the drinks and left. The staff thought it was more important to have a drink and eat bickering together during lunchtime than to serve the customers.

Good treatment, there is no bad face either, even Spanish food, the bravas have a long way to go to be like those from Spain just like the nachos! But highly recommended for the portions!

We were looking for a place to fill our stomachs when we came across this brunch restaurant. The decoration is nice. We ate some very good bitterballen, a delicious wrap and a simple but effective waldkorn chicken & bacon! Everything we love. Small downside for the toilets which are very small for our taste. We had to wait, thus annoying the people next to the toilet door… The staff was moderately friendly. In any case we recommend.

I've been coming there for more than 30 years and it's always a nice place for a drink. I've never eaten there before.

We ordered 2 x burgers and the meatball sandwich. Both tasted good. However both my sons and myself have been violently ill (sick) within a few hours of eating them. We had nothing else prior so can only put it down to this.

Extremely rude staff outside the terrace. I have been coming here for more than 10 years with a large group of friends, but if it continues like this it will soon be over. Had to get rid of 2 x 2 person tables and sit with 4 at a 2 person table or leave. Fortunately, the neighbors have a warm welcome and normal seating space

A little touristy but what else would you expect. The chicken bacon sandwich was particularly excellent! delicious bread and a delicious truffle mayo. The coffee came very quickly and was good. we were served friendly.

Apparently this is a nice tent, but there are a lot of things going on. The waiter who served us was full of misplaced arrogance. It was apparently mandatory here to sit with four people at one table for two people. The fact that there was hardly any room for it did not interest the best man. After we were repeatedly lectured — we did not agree with the above — we were offered the best option of the evening: just pay the ticket and leave. We did this and sat twenty meters away. We will never come to this place again. They don't know hospitality here. Really shameful how guests are treated here.

Ik kom hier al meer dan 10 jaar We zaten buiten en hadden afgesproken met 4 personen en hadden 2 tafeltjes van ca 60x60 Bediening kwam naar ons toe we moesten met 4 personen aan 1 klein tafeltje zitten of weg. We zijn weg gegaan en bij de buren vriendelijke bediening en normale plek Maar wat enorm onbeschoft . Als dit de nieuwe aanpak is kom ik hier echt nooit meer

The very angry redhead Dutch girl who served us proceeded to ignore us the whole time. She made sure to take her cigarette break right next to us, yet somehow we were invisible after her break. How obvious she was, fragile young thing. But her explanations as to why my croissant was not ready after 30 minutes is, the kitchen didn't know. Precious. They had a sign in Dutch yet I understood- they are looking to hire. Makes a lot of sense. Avoid at all cost.

Club sandwich is veel brood en weinig vulling. Droog ook. Bediening is crap. Opent fles niet/schenkt niet in. Wel €30 vragen. Zet vuile asbakken op tafel en als : ‘bah’, krijg je een grote mond. Later van eigenaar een nog grotere mond!!! Ober, brutale gast, is ws zoontje van eigenaar en zet viswijverige moeder op tegen ons. Samen gaan ze tegen mij tekeer. Als ik niet trap in haar afleidingsvraag: was het eten niet lekker?( 2-3x), zeg ik: doet er niet toe, gaat om vieze asbak en ober wil niet schoonmaken. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt in een restaurant. Ze willen dus niet dat klanten tevreden zijn! Ga hier NIET NAAR TOE. Don’t go here!
