What a nice place for brunch 😊 Got the avocado toast with egg which was good, but nothing special, with a tea. The waiters were quite busy, but attentive and quick!

We came here a few times a week for breakfast. We caught them using old espresso shots a few times. They made two espresso shots from a double dispenser. One is used for the cappuccino we ordered, and the second is set aside for when another one is ordered later. The espresso shot sat there for over 10 minutes, and they wanted to give it to us in a cappuccino. Never seen or experienced that before, yuck! A coffee shot is already dead after 30 seconds if you don't add milk. I don't know where you learned to make coffee, but please invest in a coffee course for your staff. Maybe also a crash course on how to speak politely to customers, because the staff is so arrogant. I don't even want to go there anymore.

Really good location for a good lunch and a good atmosphere

I have been here quite a few times but never got a chance to write back. I would be coming here again as I find peace and good food here all the time. I am a great fan of salads and I find great salads here, so yum and so fulfilling served with love❤️🤗😍🤩 definitely would recommend this place.

How bad can it be, ordering a pastrami sandwich for 11 euros? You'd hope it was good for that price! No, it was a kind of small pita bread with dried-out meat, and so incredibly small, it's unbelievable! When asked if everything was to your liking, I told them it absolutely wasn't. They said they'd pass it on to the chef, no compensation, nothing, so you can just pay 18 euros for your drink, a dry pita, and the meat too!!! Don't be ashamed! Never eat here!!@

Beautiful and pleasant place. Delicious food and coffee. Unfortunately we encountered a problem, we had to lift the strollers by hand. There is no entrance for strollers - this was very disappointing.

Cozy relaxed place, very nice and knowledgeable staff and the food was really tasty. Next time we will definitely try the menu further!

Had a sandwich at Maalder. Good smoothie, not cheap but big glass, so good in proportion. Few vegan options on the menu, which is a shame. Finally chose hummus sandwich, bread was tasty but I didn't think hummus was very special. Fries were tasty and crispy. Food was also quick. Otherwise everything was fine, but maybe expand vegan options a bit ☺️

Burger was too expensive for what it was. Colleague was told he ordered later, even though it was at the same time, and then the order was still messed up.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Best coffee in the area! However, the coffee is lukewarm every time I’ve ordered - even when asking for warmer coffee. Would suggest the coffee in general to be warmer.

It was very busy here on a Saturday afternoon, but luckily a table for two just became available. The two of us shared the scone, banana bread and an omelet. The omelette was fine, but the bread was dry and missing some butter, for example. The banana bread was also dry and didn't have much flavor. The scone was delicious: warm and fluffy. Toilets were clean and service excellent. Food was on the table quickly despite the crowds; drinks took a bit longer.

The nice and smooth ladies have everything under control here. Delicious sandwiches and much more. Parking is sometimes a bit difficult, but definitely recommended.

The only place in the area where you can go at 8.30am. 4 tables occupied and 4 staff, but before you have a double espresso on the table... it really takes too long people. Fortunately, the second round went better and the sandwich was the best!

There were a quite some tables free. Aparently where I sat was reserved and I was given no option to sit elsewhere. I stand up and walk to the entrance to get out she wait until then to tell me I could sit in other table. Too late I dont feel welcome anymore...

Hygiene is very bad, picking up the phone and then making a sandwich, throwing away the garbage bag and not washing hands Too bad, it's a beautiful place

We had a great breakfast on a Friday morning, very good coffee. Service has been friendly, flexible and fast. Would definately recommend.

Enjoyed a super tasty smooty. Salad richly filled. Very tasty with homemade dressing. Super friendly staff. Good service. Fast operation. Attention to all customers despite the crowds. Nice terrace with parasols. Just difficult to find a spot for the car.

Had a delicious meal here today, fresh salad with hummus and avocado and pancakes. Everything was super fresh and very nice service! Worth repeating.

Atmospheric interior, but the food was well below par and the smoothies were mainly apple juice. Overall disappointing for the price.

Hygiene is very important, but ladies with nails work there !!! So dirty and unhygienic, they have to wear gloves that they also replace regularly when they throw away a garbage bag. Food is great but unfortunately the hygiene is lacking.

Ze konden vandaag de drukte duidelijk niet aan: lang wachten, onvriendelijke bediening en pannenkoekjes die van binnen niet gaar waren. Binnen is het lawaaierig door slechte akoestiek en een zeer luidruchtig koffieapparaat en blender. Locatie is op een ongezellig industrie terrein. De Aveen cadeaukaart accepteren ze niet meer (staan daar wel op de site). Ik zou deze plek niet aanraden.

Had a catch-up with a couple of friends over breakfast, and we all loved what we ordered. The breakfast platter (pic attached), club sandwich and an omelette with bacon. The service is friendly and excellent. Again, delicious food and coffee!! Will def go again.

The restaurant is located in the middle of the industrial estate. They have tasty sandwiches at affordable prices. The plate my sandwich was served on had 2 large pieces missing. I personally wouldn't have used it again. Looks so sloppy. The staff was friendly, a bit disinterested. We enjoyed the sandwiches.

I have been a couple of times. The food is good. However each time when I'm settling the bills then I noticed an additional stuff is on my bill. When I showed them the bill, they just said sorry and give me the refund. I'm wondering how many people are checking their bills?

Very good brunch caffee! Seems like they have no competition from aalsmere side, till amstelveen moll with Starbucks and Joe. Quality is good. Prices medium as for such region. Stuff helpful and nice. Inside is as well nice especially to hide in rainy weather during the shopping. If you're in XXX go Dignita, if you're in Amstelveen go Maalder :)

Found this place after I started going to the gym in the area. Super cute and cozy place. Definitely an easy go to place for a quick post workout meal and shake. Even on a casual day it’s a great place to go on a coffee or lunch/brunch date. The service is quick and the food is good. My personal favorite so far has been the chicken club sandwich, definitely a must have. Highly recommend! And the staff is always friendly.

The food is okay but the service and waiting time are soo bad! Young girls with attitude from here to Tokyo. If you speak to them about their mistake, they make a face and still want you to deal with it because it is so incredibly busy???? This can not be?! I will never come here again, this is the second time already!!!!

The service was fine. I personally don't think the quality of the food and the price are in proportion to each other. For an 8 euro sandwich, I don't expect jumbo bread and ketchup from a bag. Furthermore, the plates on which the food was served were all broken...

A very poor customer service experience and not foreigner friendly! Waiting times were long, staff was rude, and the attitude was poor. The restaurant manager sets a poor example of customer service. As usual in the Netherlands, we were asked what we wanted to drink when we arrived. After our drinks were delivered, I asked for an extra mint leaf in my tea. Right there, the bad experience began! The manager gave me an extra leaf along with a displeased look. It's better to pay extra and be well served than to deal with the attitude. Our table was left unattended for more than 40 minutes. Meanwhile, 4 people came in, sat, ate, paid, and left, but nobody came to our table. We appeared to be invisible. Finally, when we asked for more drinks and food, we were served food condescendingly with no drinks. After a while, we requested our missing drinks. Once again, we waited longer than expected for a simple bottle of water. When we asked again, the employee replied aggressively, as we were pressuring them to work faster than they could. Despite the tasty food, the experience was so disappointing that I will never return. It is definitely not something I would recommend to a friend. They speak good English, but since we were the only table treated with such disdain, I assume they don't really welcome foreigners. Additionally, it's located in an industrial area, which doesn't make for a very pleasant setting.

I’m sure this place have a very good food and the menu looks really great however after sitting for 10 min without no one approaching us or even indicating they’ve seen us, we’ve decided to leave. Understandable if the place was packed but there were only handful of tables and the waitress stepped outside twice to talk to some regular customers sitting near by and ignored us. Since it’s one of the only places around it makes sense to step in for a bite, however that’s not a place I will return to even if I have regular business around.

Unfortunately, normally always very satisfied. But this time not at all, only 4 tables occupied and then you had to walk to the counter yourself to see if you could order something. Okay, sometimes you are overlooked, so windshield. Girl eventually came to pick up drinks and two club sandwiches. Drinks came quickly, but the sandwiches were still waiting. Finally, the girl who had answered left. Then her colleague comes and asks if we want anything else. Now I would like my club sandwiches that I ordered more than 45 minutes ago. Oh, I think something went wrong was the answer. Well, that's nice, I'm not going to wait any longer, so I paid for the drinks and left. It's a shame that these staff are around because otherwise it is a top place with good food.

Had a delicious lunch and coffee. Nice atmosphere and nice decor. Service is also very friendly. It's just a pity that there are only stairs to the entrance because this is difficult with a stroller.

This is the only place in the area where you can have a relaxed lunch. It was busy when we were there, the service is young, this may explain the mix up with the order (received the wrong order twice). There is something for everyone, the place is child-friendly and relaxed.

I’ve ordered a salad from this place that for some reason is popular, honestly I don’t know why. I got a tiny bowl for 13 euros without even a slice of bread on the side. When I asked if it doesn’t come with anything and if it isn’t a bit small, the employee rolled her eyes at me, went back to the kitchen, and told her colleague what I asked, without really caring for my own disappointment as their customer.

Ate here with my son. We shared the club sandwich and had a cappuccino and hot chocolate. The service was smooth and very nice. We couldn't finish the club sandwich and were able to take the rest with us. That was very nice. I would definitely recommend Mealde for a nice lunch or takeaway.

We visited with our little one ,on a Saturday 10/12 , while shopping in the surrounding stores. Personal a good find, we got there just before the lunch rush. Menu available in English, fast drinks order requested from us. A couple of questions answered over the menu when we ordered were handled well. Food arrived in good time and was tasty. We didn't try but the cakes and apple pie in the display cabinet looked so inviting. Will for sure pop in again when in yhe area shopping again. Plus just happened to be a charge point for the car in the side street as well. WC available.

Whether I eat there or have it delivered, it is always delicious. Especially the meats from the Louman butcher shop. Staff always friendly and helpful

i come here for the coffee and sandwiches. the salmon is very good as are the frittes and bitterbalen. only issue is the parking (few spaces) so i park down at the albert Hein and hike up

We have written a review before but are not allowed to post 2 reviews. Then use a different account! After a bad experience with Uber, Maalder really helped me tremendously. Uber eats had knocked over the coffee on the way, turned it off and immediately got back into his car and drove away. The bag was really soaked. I called the mill and they immediately resolved this for us and personally delivered 2 new coffees. Quickly gave a bad review to the Uber Eats delivery person! Thank you very much Maalder!
