I ordered a pizza, and WOW, it was just like the original Italian pizza. The crust was super crispy and delicious, and the service was fast and very friendly. We'll be back on our next visit to Amsterdam 👏🏻

Cozy restaurant but the food was not good. It was the worst pasta pesto I have ever eaten. My pasta was not even warm but my friend's pasta was piping hot. The staff was not very nice either.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. I found a hair embedded in the pizza dough, which is unacceptable. We were offered drinks as compensation, which was a kind gesture, but at no point did anyone offer an apology. What bothered me the most was the lack of empathy. I hope this is something they improve, because customer service is just as important as the food.

We chance upon this place and had the pizza of the month (burrata, mortadella and pistachio) and aglio e olio - both were fantastic! Definitely worth trying

Je voulais mettre 5/5 car cadre sympa, service très bien, tout était bon nous étions vraiment ravis et les prix semblaient incoryables pr Amsterdam…jusqu’à ce qu’au moment de l’addition on nous dise « service non inclus »!! On aurait pas pris de deuxieme verre ou de dessert si on avait su mais ce n’est indiqué nul part ni sur le site si sur la carte, on a eu l’impression de se faire arnaquer, il devrait être interdit de ne pas signaler cela! Au final bon rapport qualité prix ms pas honnête de ne pas donner l’info du service au départ, on est pas aux USA!

For me, the best Italian food restaurant in Amsterdam, I congratulate the chef since I was there a year ago and I wanted to repeat the good experience and he did not disappoint me. The best penne with salmon, the focaccias were delicious. Excellent service, Ariana is a girl who will be attentive and you will receive the best advice, she speaks several languages, in my case Spanish, which makes it very easy. It is a small but very cozy place, I recommend it 100%

Chose this place with the help google reviews when deciding between a number of Italian restaurants along the same street. So glad we did, the service was great with the host providing a little humour as well. The food was unbelievable good value and tasted amazing. Cannot hesitate to recommend this place 👌 👌

The kitchen is very good. The value for money is very good. The servers are warm and pleasant and the music is not too loud, nor too much noise from other people in the restaurant.

Nice Italian restaurant with great authentic food

Had a quick pizza here before a concert visit to Paradiso. Upon arrival we were kindly received and indicated that we had a maximum of 30 minutes. The employee indicated that this was not a problem. And this was true. Pizza was tasty, service was good and the prices weren't too bad. Recommended. Would go there again.

Great Italian with affordable pasta.

Overall good meal! It tastes good but you can actually smell “assembly”/industrial cooking. We are welcomed at an unconventional time to eat but it is their strong point to serve at any time. Don't forget that you will be asked for tips/tips at the end of the meal in percentage relation to the bill.

Superb dinner with four personen and everyone greatly enjoyed their meal. Everything was delicious— fresh bake bread, salads with fresh greens, outstanding pizza and pasta. Portions were generous. I would certainly go back!

We had a reservation at 2:30 we went in To ask if there was service because we saw it was super alone, and his answer was no, 30 more minutes the other girl comes out and I tell her hey but we have a reservation to which she answers yes but the one already told you 30 more minutes, it should be noted that it was raining and making it terribly cold.

We tried the margarita pizza and vegetarian siciliana pasta. It was amazing. The staff is very sweet and polite. They gave us free water as well. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Listen to me carefully: it’s one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve had in my life (and I’ve tried a lot of them). The pizza dough is fresh, the tomato sauce is crazy and the lasagna teaches you Italian🤌🏻 For the service: we had the impression of being great guests as our host was warm and attentive to us🫶🏻 I'm absolutely not exaggerating, go for it, go for it, you'll enjoy yourself without breaking the bank 😋

An authentic Italian restaurant with much more than just pizza. We enjoyed a delicious antipasti for two people. Extensive and delicious. The only downside is the cooked ham instead of prosciutto di Parma or Mortadella. The lasagna was delicious, the spicy pasta a bit too ordinary. Excellent service and pleasant atmosphere.

Gezellige mensen. Heel lekker eten. Ik raad het zeker aan. Wij hadden de tonijn pizza en de zalm penne genomen. En als voorgerecht een assortiment van vlees, kaas,… . Niet alles opgekregen maar zeer lekker. Als we nog eens naar amsterdam komen zouden we zeker nog een keer gaan.

Sorry to say. But very rude and unprofessional. We were greeted by a man who told us they were full without knowing we had a reservation. Lo and behold they weren’t “aware” and were very rude about it. They weren’t very aware of their own system. Can’t speak on food but it looked and smelled good. Too bad the service was ABYSMAL.

The food is good (not amazing, but perfectly good for a touristy location) and the portions are large for a very reasonable price (given the area!). The reduction in stars is because they charge 2 euro for tap water. For tap water! Now I see another low review commented this, as well. I guess the 2 euro must be worth the low reviews.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and certainly not too expensive (2 in advance, 2 pastas and coffee and tea €81).

We were hoping for better. We were given a high table we couldn’t pull our seats in, tap water had to be paid for so was forced to buy a drink instead, and on top of all this the pasta was mediocre at best. Far too much oil, hardly any flavour and table service had a bad attitude. Would not recommend, but some good pointers for the owner.

Nice cosy italian restaurant near the main touristy area of amsterdam - restaurant was situated in an area that was filled with italian restaurants. Food were decent portions and tasted ok - not the best I've had but still nice. The stuffed mushroom starter was VERY oily, which isn't too big of an issue for me, but I felt like they could've browned the mushrooms a bit more. Calamari was decent. Mains: 1. I got the one with prawns: a lot of prawns in the dish, but be careful. They still have the shell on the tails, so you need to take them off. The rest of the pasta was pretty average. 2. carbonara - my partner enjoyed it, but he felt like the spaghetti was too soft, whereas when i tried it, it felt very al dente. Desserts were good - I got the daily special (pana cotta), and my partner got the tiramisu.

Food was good although pizza was on the salty side. Staff could be friendlier.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was slow, and the staff seemed inattentive and disorganized. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor. The portions were small for the price, and the overall ambiance felt chaotic rather than relaxing. I expected a much better experience based on the reviews, but sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place

Disaster! The service was super hectic and unfriendly (we were jostled several times). In his overzealousness he stuck to my chair and half knocked me over. My full wine glass landed partly on my face and clothes. No apologies, just excuses. No compensation for the mishap other than a new glass, which was paid for in full. The pizza was bland/sour and didn't correspond to the menu because ingredients were missing. Completely wrong. Very unfortunate.

Terrible place. We didn't get to try the food because the waiter didn't feel like serving a family with children. Being the Empty place said it was fully booked.

Very good food, welcomed first by a very kind waitress who found us a table despite the fact that we had not reserved. Once seated, the boss comes to see us without saying hello, telling us that the table was taken in 1 hour and making us feel that we had to eat very quickly. Basically no problem with that but the form that was used was not the best.

My husband messed up our reservation so we had to eat the pizza at the bar next door but god damn was the pizza good. Potentially the best pizza I’ve had in my life. Order the pepperoni pizza and tell me I’m wrong.

The absolute best food we ate in Amsterdam 😍 the taste was an absolute dream. Small Italian restaurant, the prices are completely okay. We spontaneously got a place in the evening without a reservation. Absolute recommendation and gladly again!

The waitress was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Pizza was average and my salmon was burnt. There is a strong smell inside, we finished our food and will not come to this place again.

I had an excellent time here. My food was absolutely delicious, the kind that sends shivers down my spine. The service was helpful and they offered great recommendations. My focaccia e Pesto, Delicious. My Carbonara, authentic and delicious. The wine pairing for that carbonara, Perfect. My tiramisu? You wouldn't believe it but it was fantastic. Really cannot recommend this place highly enough. They take their Italian food seriously, and Italian food when done well, like it is here, is some of the best in the world.

I am truly disappointed. Please read before ordering. Unless you want to ruin your trip to Amsterdam. (picture) I ordered Aglio Olio, but there was no garlic flavor and the noodles had no seasoning at all. In other words, it had no taste at all. If you look at the picture, there is no garlic at all. If you look at the pictures in other Google reviews, there was garlic, but there wasn't any garlic in my pictures. I relayed this to the staff, and they apologized and brought me some garlic vinegar. I sprayed it without knowing it was vinegar, but the smell was so bad. So I asked the chef again. Then, I added garlic, did not cook it, and boiled the noodles in hot water again. And to me, “This is what the original aglio olio dish tastes like.” said the employee. I already knew about it because it is a dish I eat very often. This is a big wrong food. And while I was going to the bathroom, the cook and waiter were talking negatively about me. Afterwards, I did not receive any service until I left the restaurant. I felt like I ruined my first trip to Amsterdam with my girlfriend. I hope this gets fixed. 1. Employees are expected to respect customers’ opinions. 2. Avoid giving negative energy directly to customers. For others, please refer to this section before eating. I'm serious.

The service is excellent. The atmosphere is nice. The food, for those who have been to Italy, is disappointing. For the price, I expected at least fresh pasta and more striking flavors. We ordered the carbonara and an amatriciana.

A nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and a great cook. The Spezzatino was soft, Juicy and very tasteful. The tiramisu was a joy to my taste buds. I/we will most definitely make a return visit.
