Mastino Pizza in Oude Pijp

Wonderful vegan pizza! I had a pepperoni pizza and my non-vegan friend thought the flavor of the pepperoni and cheese was very similar to a non-vegan pizza. I found it extremely delicious! And the pizza dough was perfect. We also had a chocolate one which was incredible! I hope I can go back to Amsterdam and eat more at Mastino Vegan Pizza! Too bad it's closed now

Great pizzas, fresh ingredients and authentic taste! The tiramisu is also DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! The staff is very nice, open and welcoming, and italian. My favorite to go place for a nice vegan pizza!

I LOVE MASTINOS! We came here last November to try the vegan pizza and it was incredible. I had the tutto mushroom both times and my partner has the pepperoni both times aswell. The lady who served us is so wonderful and made us feel welcome. We took away some tiramasu and it was the best dessert I have eaten as a vegan. I came back the next day for more tiramasu of course! Please support this place if you're visiting Amsterdam you won't regret it.

Amazing pizza ! Really the best I ever had

No idea what pizza I had. But it had some pink Hummus, maybe beet puree on it. Was delicious and didnt miss cheese at all. Very recommended.

Mastino is such a cute place! And the pizzas were outstanding 💚 the tiramisu was almost as good too and the staff was lovely! The only thing I would change: no pizza boxes for people who eat in... it so much waste :( I understand that it spares a lot of dish washing and space, but it just gives a more fast foody vibe.

Very nice vegan pizzas. One pizza of the month with spinach, asparagus and purple potato and the other one is il bacio. Waitress was very friendly and interested in knowing if it was our first time eating vegan pizza. Was a very lovely experience. I would recommend to go there even if your not vegan.

After living here 30 years, this is the best pizza in Amsterdam , vegan or not. The big 4 cheese? I think is the name, is incredible. Will be going back tomorrow to order again! The crust is dense, thin, not dry,, chewy and perfect! I am so thankful for this place and to the person who suggested it. Best in the city,. I have to edit this as the pizza recipe is now different, and the vegan cheese isn't the same anymore :(

Pretty cool concept , lovely Italian people, and a all vegan! Everything is freshly self made even every kind of cheese. The dough is pretty good as well as the tomato sauce, but I wasn’t a fan of the vegan cheese

Unfortunately we got cold cheese pizzas delivered in "vegan pizza" boxes instead of vegan ones, which is unacceptable. Used to be a fully vegan place with tasty pizzas. They changed to include vegetarian options, which is totally fair. But I'd love to see some extra care on separating vegan/vegetarian options as this is detrimental for people who won't/can't consume dairy.

Exzellent! Das war die beste Pizza, die wir jemals genießen durften! Dazu auch noch in vegan, und dieses Trüffelöl, welches ich zusätzlich auf meine Pizza bestellt habe, war einfach wunderbar. Dazu ein sehr zuvorkommender Service, entspannte Atmosphäre - das war definitv nicht der letzte Besuch! :)

As an italian from a family owning pizzerias I did not expect to eat one of the best vegan pizzas in Amsterdam! This was definitively one of the top 3 vegan pizzas I've ever eaten the past years! Very authentic italian style pizza from italians with a great italian vibe in the location. The owner talked to us so warmly, we felt well welcomed. We were so amazed about this place, that we had to come again, even if we stayed for just one night. Almost everything there is homemade, even over 5 different vegan cheeses. Btw. the whole place is standardly vegan, but they offer regular cheese option for omnivores.

Wij vonden dit restaurant, helaas, een grote teleurstelling. Echt gezellig oogt het niet en je moet direct afrekenen, na alles wat je bestelt. Het voorgerecht was best lekker, hoewel de truffelsmaak niet echt herleidbaar was. De pizza's die we aten, een big4 en een met champignons, waren echt heel teleurstellend. De vegan kaas is niet goed nagemaakt en totaal niet gesmolten zoals je hoopt. Heel jammer want ze zijn echt best wel aan de prijs (€20 & €17,50). Ik zou niet aanraden om hier te gaan eten.

Just randomly went there because me and my partner wanted a vegan Pizza, this was the best decision we took. Totally loved the taste and the friendly behavior of the woman.

Best vegan pizza I’ve ever eat.

Great vegan food in the heart of a very cool area! Mastino is small but cozy and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The pizzas were seriously to die for, they were delicious! I also really enjoyed getting vegan cannolis for the first time in a very long time; they even had the pistachio dust on them. I wished they had decaf coffee, but that was my only critique! 10/10 would go here again (I actually went twice in the same day in order to bring some friends back with me!). For anyone gluten-free, I'm also pretty sure they had gluten-free crust advertised but I didn't try it.

a petite vegan pizza place - all pizzas are vegan by default but they do keep some mozzarella in-house in case anyone wants it. our foccacia and pizzas were both really tasty and we were really impressed. would definitely visit again.

Good pizza made with home made cheeses, in a bubbly, friendly atmosphere. We had the pepperoni pizza and the one with broccoli from Naples (a bit too heavy on the broccoli). We also had the chocolate pizza for dessert which was lush but very rich - it’s advertised for two but would be better suited for three or four people. I do recommend if you want authentic Italian pizza - however if you’re looking for more variety then you may prefer Trevi’s who offer pasta too. Limited seating. All items came in takeaway containers despite us eating in - it would be great if real plates/glasses could be given to save the trees and reach sustainability goals!

Easy, casual spot for dine-in or takeaway. All vegan: pizzas, salads and desserts. Super friendly staff and the pizza oven is on view at the back of the restaurant. The order came very quickly and was tasty. Too full to try dessert but some good options. We chose the Alleria and the Peas & Love pizzas.

Mastino Vegan Pizza is a MUST. The ingredients are wholesome, the taste is elevated and Novella is absolutely a vegan fairy. We had the most delicious pizzas (the tutto mushroom and novella's classic). We also took 6 cannoli to go and YOU SHOULD ALSO. Our dinner absolutely was the book end to a perfect day and night in Amsterdam. We felt so welcome and Novella's glowing sign says it all "Your body belongs to you". xoxo

We found this place by accident and were very glad we did. It only has four tables but we were lucky enough to get one. Great vegan pizza and lovely staff. A little gem.
