horrible customer service. the site says I can order takeout. I called 5mins straight around 5pm and no one answered.

Don't let people in 1h before closing time

The staff doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic. I first had to wait five minutes for help (it was the only car), and then I was helped by grumpy staff! They're not hired for spontaneity!

Nice restaurant to watch planes. I was here for breakfast, and they were cleaning with an electric vacuum cleaner that was incredibly loud. My ears were ringing. Maybe not so smart to do this next to customers... The poor employee isn't wearing hearing protection either; he definitely needs it.

Hello. I received such terrible service at this McDonald's. First of all, they're always grumpy or arrogant. Secondly, the fries are always cold! And when you bring them back to them, they always look at you with a very arrogant attitude. While you're supposed to be happy with your customers. I really don't understand this at all!!! I hope they change soon!!! 😤😡

Very cold inside. Long waits, staff working chaotically, orders often incomplete.

It seems like many taxi divers come here for break, which means it’s good place to relax. Also you will have chance to see airplanes taking off, or landing. Food was quick, waited just 5 mins. Cleaners were cleaning every 5 mins.

Music is often too loud. Even now.

The food is good, but eating your food in the parking lot among the rats is a bit less.

Just like a McDonald's should be. It's a busy spot in the Randstad with a spotter's area next door, but it's managed very well.

My daughter's boyfriend ate here late last night. He's been throwing up all night and still is. He's very sick. It's unbelievable how bad this is.

Friendly team, quick service and fresh food

Great service, friendly people, but I find a medium fries that aren't stuffed to the brim really frugal. Especially considering the prices they charge these days.

The burger was lukewarm and not tasty.

I ordered a McFrappé here the other day. Apparently, the order had been ready a while ago, but no one called out, and there wasn't a number on the board? It really wasn't busy. I waited almost 45 minutes for just one coffee. I finally went and asked, and it was right there on the rack. If you're working, at least pretend you're looking forward to it.

Very bad place. They wanted to serve cold food at the McDonald's. By clearly stating that you pay 50 euros and expect a small amount of hot food. Something is being done about it, but this should be checked as standard. It seems worrying to me that this happens at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

The spotting spot is probably the highlight. McDonald's with McDrive.

On October 17th at 6:21 PM, I picked up a vegetarian chicken burger from the McDonald's drive-thru to eat later. When I finally had time to eat, it turned out to be a regular chicken burger, even though I'd clearly requested a veggie burger, and the box also said "veggie chicken burger." When I found out, I immediately called, but the man who answered the phone clearly wasn't interested: "This isn't my problem." He did offer me a proper burger if I came back later that evening. But that was too far out of my way. It's a shame, because I enjoy eating at McDonald's occasionally, especially when I'm in a hurry. But when preparing the correct order is apparently too complicated, and the employees apparently can't handle their work, I won't be going there again.

The fish burger is €13.70. This one isn't cheap. I wasn't satisfied with this fish burger. It was tasty, but too small. For €13.70, I would have been happy to be satisfied.

The food was very tasty, it seemed better than other McDonald's with a beautiful view of the planes.

Sunday morning, wanted to grab a quick breakfast before driving 10 hours home. Lost 20 mins here due to complete incompetence. They messed up one order (I think they gave my order to somebody else) then wiped all pending orders off the board. Multiple people came back to complain their order was wrong. The guys packing the meals had no clue what they were doing. In the end after reminding them my order was pending I eventually kinda got what I asked for but it looked like it had been thrown against the wall, wasn’t even packed. The coffee tasted like I don’t know what but was undrinkable. Wish I’d not stopped by. Embarrassing. Who’s in charge?

Clean, quiet location. A well-oiled machine with staff. Still fast food, of course.

A great McDonald's overlooking one of Schiphol's runways. It's fun to watch planes landing or taking off from that runway. There's ample seating, both inside and outside. The food is simply McDonald's; you know what you're getting. The speed of preparation was excellent. There's ample parking, even considering that many taxis take a break here during the day between jobs. Other than that, it's a standard McDonald's with free Wi-Fi (you do have to log in and provide personal information), ordering kiosks, and a restroom that you definitely shouldn't use if you're worried about contamination.

I had a delicious meal; it was nice and warm. However, I ordered from a table outside via the app, and they gave my food to someone else. Luckily, they quickly remade my order. However, this meant I had to wait longer overall, and I didn't have enough time to eat in the restaurant before I had to go to Schiphol Airport.

Bizarre, there are only three other people in the store, and you can wait half an hour for your food, and to make matters worse, you don't get half your order and end up with cold fries. THIS IS A ONE-TIME TIME AND NEVER AGAIN. They should seriously consider hiring new staff.

It was nice but the runway with the mcdonald's was closed for maintenance till September so there was no plane like very near, they were far!

Been there several times. Orders have always been successful, staff is OK. Right next to the runway, good view of the airport.

Ordered some burgers during a quiet moment. Made some adjustments. The same burger went wrong 4 times (!). Unfortunately, having to keep going back left my own food cold. Staff, RTFM...

I had to wait for a family member to land and decided to grab a coffee at McDonald's. My coffee didn't arrive, and I had to chase it up twice before it was made, even though it was incredibly quiet at 10 a.m. I also think the prices have gotten quite high, but it's just as convenient when you have a long drive. Three stars for the convenience, not the service.

Everything clean, nice view and staff very kidsfriendly

The place is large, and the wait wasn't too long...and the food was hot. That's not the case everywhere.

In recent years, I've noticed a significant decline in food quality at McDonald's Schiphol. This applies not only to Schiphol but to several other locations.

Top location at the airport, nice to sit between the planes

I ordered a Sunday with caramel sauce. I didn't get any caramel sauce, just two drops at the bottom. I asked if I could have caramel sauce with it. I was told no, mix it better. I'll never order a joke of soft serve ice cream with a few drops of sauce for 3.25 again.

The view is very nice, unfortunately after the food number was mixed up, they gave us a new tray with a piece of chewing gum that had already been spat out and the burgers were missing. The ambience was very nice but the rest was not recommended.

Speaker that makes an orders apparently has some personal issues. With her rude behaviour she shouldn’t work with people. Not for the first time.

Do you like dirty tables, lukewarm food, half-melted ice cream, and staff that ignore you at the speed of a snail? Then McDonald's Schiphol is the place to be! 1 star – and that's purely out of pity.

The food is excellent and it is great fun to spot some planes during your stay.

A messy business, when the spotter's place is open again, it will be more pleasant.

McDonald's overlooking a runway at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport! It doesn't get much better than this for plane spotters! There are plenty of benches nearby.

It sucks that you get the fries with a half empty container. If that would happen once, it would never be a problem. In the past 2 months I have gotten food here 6-7 times and every time I got the fries half full

A great location if you want to watch planes while enjoying a snack. Otherwise, it's a McDonald's like any other.

Nice location, especially if you want to watch planes. Tables outside with nice weather (as far as we were concerned) very dirty, was not very busy, but we cleaned the table ourselves with a damp face cloth from our daughter and saw more people cleaning or asking staff to do it, a missed opportunity that inside is neat and clean and outside a dirty sticky mess. That you have to clean your table yourself to be able to eat normally. Toilets could also use more attention. Furthermore, top location, order quickly and neatly brought by friendly employee.

Enjoy eating outside on the terrace and watch the planes at the same time. Nice place

The only reason to visit is the proximity and views to the Buitenveldert, Oost and Alsmeer runways. Food is typical McDonalds, but the service is horrible. 10 out of 10 times there are missing items, or the size in coke and fries is wrong (always a downgrade), there is never a straw or a lid for the cups, never napkins, and many more. On top of that, the toilets are always dirty. Avoid if you can, or visit just for the planes.

why it says open till 2:00 AM but i cant enter the restaurant at 23:58 and can’t order from mcdrive side as well??? not just one time happened

Super fast service, great food (for McDonalds). I had a drink within 1 minute when it was busy.

Since this is an airport McDonald's, they should always speak English, at least when they say the numbers. The girls could wear a little less makeup, since I think I've eaten an eyelash more than once... I don't know why the health department hasn't responded yet. And they lack sympathy... everyone.

Exactly what you would expect from a McD. The location at the spotters place makes it different from most other McD's. Unfortunately at the time of my visit the nearest runway was open for renovation and was not in use.

First it went wrong with the order also the so called advantage burgers menu where you would get a wrap and a burger did not work properly and if you wanted 1 burger you did not get the rest super confusing Eventually spoke to the manager and she fixed everything and just gave me the chicken wrap very friendly The environment is great you can sit outside and watch the planes

Avoid this mc! This large location mc has 1 cash register! and the coffee offers cannot be paid for via the payment column, so you are obliged to stand in line there. Then after 15 minutes! the employee says that you can also pay at the coffee counter, but this was suddenly not possible. The line you were in is now full again. Left without coffee. They have not got things in order here at all and the offers advertised outside are therefore not actually available.

Standard fast food is not my thing, nothing decent around

Saw on Google that this McDonald's closes at 0200 hours. Was there at 00.30 hours, Could just get in but they were actually already closed for half an hour. Please adjust the times. Would have liked coffee. Toilet was very clean. That's true.

Placed order via order column. Order was delivered outside very quickly. Ideal. Too bad there is work on the runway in front of the restaurant.

The McDonalds is no better or worse than your average Mac but it is located at a plane spot. Also close to the various long term parking lots of Schiphol.

The place is not as clean as it should be.

I have eaten at this McDonald’s twice now and both times I left very satisfied. The table service is fast and attentive, my waste was neatly collected both times without me having to ask. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food was at the right temperature with good portions. What makes this branch really special is the location: right at the airport. While you enjoy your meal, you have a view of the runway, a unique experience that makes it just that little bit more special. In short: if you fancy a McDonald’s with a nice view and good service, then this branch is definitely recommended!

Parking in front of the door seems to be reserved for taxis only, as a visitor you can park a lot further away. It's ridiculous that little is done about this.

Beautiful MaC. Beautiful place with a view of Schiphol. Was a quiet weekday. Many staff who got in each other's way. Didn't see me standing there for an order. Finally helped and (almost) the worst hamburger ever. As if it was thrown from the entrance. Drip of ketchup, half a slice of pickle and no mustard or onion seen. Sit outside here and watch, don't eat. Never again!!

The Bigmac sauce I bought was only good for 2 months. Money back was not an option because according to the employee they do not know the concept of "giving money back" at McDonalds. She could only give me a sandwich, but of course I had already eaten. So pay attention to the date on the bottle!

Large parking lot, clean toilets, there is a changing table. Coffee is poured into your thermos mug upon request. The quality of the coffee is not the best. Overall, a pretty nice place to wait for a flight

Nice and easy meal outside while we watched the planes.

Incredibly chaotic, too busy. The gentlemen and ladies who deliver the food walk chaotically looking around. This is due to the signs you have to put on your table, so that they know which order number should go where. Not efficient for them. And creates unrest.

Great place to eat after spotting at the Polderbaan. You can also spot planes from here, but the distance is a lot greater than the other spotting spots. For the rest, the atmosphere and food are as you would expect from McDonald's.

Quite busy but efficient and good value

Looking at other reviews it seems I'm not the only one getting only half of what I ordered. No apologies, just a blank stare.
