Very good and an excellent place

I went to the McDonald’s in Hoofddorp today and had 2 vegan wraps. I got a terrible stomach ache, and so did my little brother. I am never coming here again. Period.

Perfect for grabbing a burger and watching planes take off and land. Highly recommended.

Great place for spending some time with kids. Ample parking plus space for watching planes although all are quite far and the nearby runway was not being used

Great McDonald's! Served quickly and friendly staff. It's also made deliciously fast. That's how fast food restaurants should be.

Picked up food and unfortunately a Big Mac was missing. Not nice, but it can happen. Called politely and we were laughed at. We were told to figure it out ourselves. I am still in shock. This is not the way to treat customers! Very poor service and we have basically been ripped off because we won't be getting the Big Mac anymore 🤷‍♂️.

Service a 3, opens way too late in the morning hours. Not open by 7:00 AM while many people are already active in the area. A missed opportunity for revenue. And the coffee is way too expensive.

Waited 15 minutes for 2 menus, needed to ask 5 times for our food only to hear its getting prepared, it wasn't even busy. In the end stale fries, totally unresponsive service.

A great place to watch planes, but it's worth checking which runway they take off/land from before you go to avoid disappointment with an empty runway.

At opening, all the tables were so filthy that you finally didn't want to sit down.

Look... I'm giving this Mac 5 stars because I'm comparing it to other McDonald's. We come here regularly and rarely have our table service order incorrect or cold. The location is, of course, amazing with a view of Schiphol and the runway. The outdoor terrace is also great. There's practically always a spot for your car, which is often an issue at McDonald's. There's also a McCafe on site. Maybe the cleanliness of the restaurant, the exterior, and the restrooms could be a bit sleeker, but oh well... It's actually impossible to manage when there's so much foot traffic and people behave like animals when they're at McDonald's.

This McDonalds is a great place to plane spot while getting a bite to eat. There are plenty of seats outside for watching. The service was relatively quick and the food was typical.of McDonald's fare. The only drawbacks were the fact the garbage cans were in desperate need of emptying. The other not so great thing was the children running around like the patio is an amusement park. I don't mind children having fun, but this was out of hand. Where are the parents? For planespotters, recommended.

One of the managers is always yelling at her staff. As a customer, I am already annoyed by it; I can't even imagine having to work with her.

After beeing greeted by the most unmotivated cashere i have ever seen, i was left paying without knowing the actual amount or what window to drive to. But that not all, order 2 caramel sundays, received 1,5 Sundays without cashew nuts, after approaching the lady about 1 sunday cup being half full i was given a death stare i have never seen before, if this is how clients are treated these days for actual requesting service they pay for then this mcdonalds shout he shut down, i have never in my life been treated with this much disrespect, all for not accepting service below expectations, after all did not even get a receipts even after asking for one.

This is a perfect combination of eating and then plane spotting. This McDonald’s is always busy. There are plenty of seats outside as well, and inside too, of course. If you are coming for the planes, it might be useful to check if this runway is in use. As far as I’m concerned, the best McDonald’s location.

It may be very busy this afternoon (July 19), but that should not affect the quality of the food. This afternoon, the fries were lukewarm and not crispy (let's say limp).

Takes a bit long but it is tasty

The opening hours are very convenient, especially for early morning or late evening trips. We go there every year during our layover in Amsterdam because we stay at the NH Hotel next door, which is very practical. There are also other hotels in the area. For French speakers, the language selection on the kiosk is helpful; otherwise, the menu is always the same and doesn't change. There aren't any new sandwich options like in France, but we're happy with it because they have the classics, so there are no surprises on the bill. Orders arrive very quickly. Cleanliness is decent. I recommend it during your layover.

Decent mcdonalds with friendly staff right by the runway at Schipol, offering apron views and sometimes landings. A true heaven for aviation enthusiasts. There are benches with paid binoculars next to the mcdonalds that allow you to see planes up close.

A regular McDonald's, just like anywhere else. However, it has the unique feature of being located right next to the runway at Amsterdam Airport. You can watch lots of planes – very interesting.

It’s McDonalds but it is the place that makes the 5 star rating. We always go here for our date nights to spot the planes and of course you’ll get a coffee or an ice cream then. I really like this location.

A very busy location. Huge parking area. They are busy but friendly and efficient I felt. When I returned because of an error in my take out order they quickly and fairly made everything correct. That was much appreciated.

It was an awful experience. There was no food around, so the only option was this place. We received 80% of our order with our file o fish never making it even though we paid for it. We also only got knives and had to eat the salads with it. Avoiding this place is a privilege.

I come here often. It is a nice place to wait for travelers landing at Schiphol. Business people also meet here for a brief meeting. The staff is enthusiastic through and through, takes their duties seriously, and serves at a rapid pace. Understandable, as there is always a clientele. This entices me to keep coming back. They recently added a "chicken wings" menu. Yummy 💚 Personally, I only need these wings with a cappuccino or a bottle of water. When I have my laptop with me, I can work undisturbed with table service and a view of the airport. Beautiful. There is usually a holiday atmosphere 👌👌 Plane spotters can be found in large numbers, as well as passenger transport entrepreneurs. 👍👍👏👏💐💐

I came to this McDonald's by bike. My final destination was the urban jungle, but I stopped here first. The food and drinks are the same as other McDonald's. What's interesting is its proximity to Schiphol Airport, so if you choose to sit outside, you can watch the planes coming and going.

Beautiful, spacious McDonald’s with a nice view of Schiphol and the runway. Incredibly friendly employee; my daughter was even allowed to scoop her own ice cream!

A McDonald's. Unfortunately, the food closes before 1:00 AM, just like at other branches. The drive-thru is open until 2:00 AM, and not until 3:00 AM as their website indicates.

Nice big McDonald's and you can also watch the planes at the same time.

I ordered a coffee from the kiosk and sat down. However, they came to my table and said McCafe was closed and they weren't serving coffee. I had no choice but to order a milkshake. Less than half an hour later, I saw that McCafe was counting the coffee as a gift.

4 stars average total, food 1 star because we didn't eat there, service 3 stars because the toilets were very dirty and the tables too, atmosphere 5 stars because this is due to a spotter's location

Nine years ago I would have given this location 4 stars, but now it looks even more like a factory. The children's playhouse has been gone for a few years; the only soul it still had is gone. It is a fine place for waiting taxi drivers, and they have to go somewhere too, but I would no longer recommend it for families.

The view is amazing and is more interesting than the decor in the restaurant . There is sufficient parking , DC charging and clean toilets and is a good spot to hang out if you are waiting to pick someone at the Schipol airport . There are more than enough pictures of the restaurant so here is the videos of the views . Kids would love this place

We arrived close to closing time. They told us that dine-in service was closed before we could order online, but the person in charge still served us. We found it strange that the food was prepared by bare hands without gloves; it didn't seem very hygienic. I don't know if it was because it was closing time, but the food seemed carelessly prepared, although drive-thru service continued. Also, the ketchup wasn't showing in the basket on the screen; we pressed the button a few times, and this time they gave us ten ketchups. The fact that it wasn't showing in the basket seemed wrong to us; maybe we missed it in a hurry. In conclusion, hygiene and taste were average, but the service was good.

horrible customer service. the site says I can order takeout. I called 5mins straight around 5pm and no one answered.

Don't let people in 1h before closing time

The staff doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic. I first had to wait five minutes for help (it was the only car), and then I was helped by grumpy staff! They're not hired for spontaneity!

Nice restaurant to watch planes. I was here for breakfast, and they were cleaning with an electric vacuum cleaner that was incredibly loud. My ears were ringing. Maybe not so smart to do this next to customers... The poor employee isn't wearing hearing protection either; he definitely needs it.

Hello. I received such terrible service at this McDonald's. First of all, they're always grumpy or arrogant. Secondly, the fries are always cold! And when you bring them back to them, they always look at you with a very arrogant attitude. While you're supposed to be happy with your customers. I really don't understand this at all!!! It seems like many taxi divers come here for break, which means it’s good place to relax. Also you will have chance to see airplanes taking off, or landing. Food was quick, waited just 5 mins. Cleaners were cleaning every 5 mins.

The food is good, but eating your food in the parking lot among the rats is a bit less.

I ordered a McFrappé here the other day. Apparently, the order had been ready a while ago, but no one called out, and there wasn't a number on the board? It really wasn't busy. I waited almost 45 minutes for just one coffee. I finally went and asked, and it was right there on the rack. If you're working, at least pretend you're looking forward to it.

Very bad place. They wanted to serve cold food at the McDonald's. By clearly stating that you pay 50 euros and expect a small amount of hot food. Something is being done about it, but this should be checked as standard. It seems worrying to me that this happens at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

On October 17th at 6:21 PM, I picked up a vegetarian chicken burger from the McDonald's drive-thru to eat later. When I finally had time to eat, it turned out to be a regular chicken burger, even though I'd clearly requested a veggie burger, and the box also said "veggie chicken burger." When I found out, I immediately called, but the man who answered the phone clearly wasn't interested: "This isn't my problem." He did offer me a proper burger if I came back later that evening. But that was too far out of my way. It's a shame, because I enjoy eating at McDonald's occasionally, especially when I'm in a hurry. But when preparing the correct order is apparently too complicated, and the employees apparently can't handle their work, I won't be going there again.

The fish burger is €13.70. This one isn't cheap. I wasn't satisfied with this fish burger. It was tasty, but too small. For €13.70, I would have been happy to be satisfied.

Sunday morning, wanted to grab a quick breakfast before driving 10 hours home. Lost 20 mins here due to complete incompetence. They messed up one order (I think they gave my order to somebody else) then wiped all pending orders off the board. Multiple people came back to complain their order was wrong. The guys packing the meals had no clue what they were doing. In the end after reminding them my order was pending I eventually kinda got what I asked for but it looked like it had been thrown against the wall, wasn’t even packed. The coffee tasted like I don’t know what but was undrinkable. Wish I’d not stopped by. Embarrassing. Who’s in charge?

Just a standard McDonalds restaurant

A great McDonald's overlooking one of Schiphol's runways. It's fun to watch planes landing or taking off from that runway. There's ample seating, both inside and outside. The food is simply McDonald's; you know what you're getting. The speed of preparation was excellent. There's ample parking, even considering that many taxis take a break here during the day between jobs. Other than that, it's a standard McDonald's with free Wi-Fi (you do have to log in and provide personal information), ordering kiosks, and a restroom that you definitely shouldn't use if you're worried about contamination.

It's too bad but I think they have to do better it's more a taxi stop than a Cosy restaurant.

I had a delicious meal; it was nice and warm. However, I ordered from a table outside via the app, and they gave my food to someone else. Luckily, they quickly remade my order. However, this meant I had to wait longer overall, and I didn't have enough time to eat in the restaurant before I had to go to Schiphol Airport.

Bizarre, there are only three other people in the store, and you can wait half an hour for your food, and to make matters worse, you don't get half your order and end up with cold fries. THIS IS A ONE-TIME TIME AND NEVER AGAIN. They should seriously consider hiring new staff.
