McDonald's in Breda centrum

The worst McDonald's so far: there are cockroaches on the tables, hair in the food, and the staff don't know how to be hospitable; the manager is just as incompetent—I don't know why they're even there.

Every time I come here, the tables are dirty and I have to wait a long time before I get my food. Additionally, there is often an unpleasant smell in the restaurant. You have to pay €1 for the toilets, even though they are very dirty inside. Sometimes there aren't even any paper towels available. The hygiene and service could really be much better.

Check for salt on your burger they put a table tea spoon of salt and pepper on every single one of mine. Idk trynna make me overdose on sodium? Cant feel my tongue

Very filthy McDonald's, food was lying on the floor everywhere and dirty tables. 1 euro for the toilet, so as a company you should keep it clean. It takes a very long time to get your food. I told the manager she said she would take a look, but when we walked out they were standing there laughing.

Way too busy and lots of junkies, and the service is excellent thanks to cleaner Mohammed Alali; it is always clean and he is sociable and a very cheerful guy, so he should become manager.

Terrible service here, people behind the counter super arrogant, shouting insults, avoiding eye contact. In short, truly awful; I find it ridiculous that people like this are allowed to work here, this is unacceptable. This is truly substandard. Hold your employees accountable!

Super annoying waitress who doesn't care at all who or what ordered. I don't feel welcome at all. This person finds it much more interesting to flirt with a few guys. Regret my order immediately. The food is fine; what you expect from a McDonald's. - But do something about the staff!

A great place for a coffee in the morning or a burger in the late afternoon/evening

The Staff delates Numbers of the order before we receive it so you need to listen them sreames Numbers of the ready orders. The wrap i received has a a very little ingedients and wasnt fresh at all. Tables are dirty and the staff ist’nt very nice. I am not gonna come back to this place. Waste of money :(

Nice eating area upstairs. Cheeseburger bread was stale and chicken nuggets were regular. Spicy McChicken was pretty good. Fries were not fresh but were typical McDonald’s.

The quality of McDonald's in general is declining rapidly. At this branch, too, the food was just dumped into a container and the service is emotionless to the point of being unfriendly. The surroundings weren't particularly clean either. The experience and quality of 10 years ago are nowhere to be found. Fine for a quick and easy bite, but for the atmosphere and quality, it's no longer worth it.

Despite the rush around six, a staff member came to clean our spot very nicely. Super job, compliments. It's just such a shame that some guests take it for granted that someone else will clean up the mess. Probably a generation thing.

Long wait, no table service (which is normal), there was a grumpy atmosphere from the employees, trays and dirty cups everywhere, the toilet was dirty and ransacked, and you had to pay, one euro even if you had eaten there. There were only two people working together in the kitchen at a very slow pace, resulting in very long wait times even though there were only 5 people in the restaurant. We ordered a cheeseburger, but the cheese turned out to be still hard and not melted. The meat was undercooked and there was only one pickle on it. Dirty blue dishcloths were lying everywhere in and around the McDonald’s, so overall it was the worst McDonald’s I have ever experienced. I would recommend you go eat somewhere else.

The food etc. is probably the same as at every McDonald's. Only the toilets are really a separate area; they are incredibly disgusting. They were already like that when the men's toilet wasn't next to the women's, and now that has been renovated, it is still incredibly gross. And I suppose they'll want money for that later on?!

Well, what can you expect? Fast food. It is nothing more than that. I didn't like the chicken nuggets we got. The tables and the upstairs toilet were dirty. A shame.

Went out to eat with friends. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, cheerful, and always positive. The security guard was also very friendly. Definitely recommended. We will be back. Greetings from Belgium.

What an incredibly grumpy atmosphere there was here. Both the manager and the staff were shouting out the order numbers loudly. When I came to pick up my order, I was ignored, and both the manager (white blouse) and the staff gave me a rather unfriendly, even irritated impression. They seemed unable to manage a smile or a friendly approach towards customers, while there was plenty of laughter and chatter among themselves. That did not create a welcoming impression. I am normally used to much friendlier and more professional service from McDonald's. That is why this experience was, unfortunately, a major disappointment to me.

Had to wait 25 minutes for a single sandwich and wasn't particularly busy. White shirt guy (manager?) was socializing instead of getting orders out, my sandwich was there for 15 minutes before I got it. Might be the worst mcdonalds with rude and grumpy staff, usually it's pretty gross too even compared to the one in rotterdam, which is also a disgrace.... and I hold mcdonalds to pretty low low low standards so that's saying something. Just awful.

The two small women's restrooms were apparently quite unacceptable on King's Day, but the restaurant was fairly clean. The food was as usual, right in the city center. We were satisfied.

Tasty food, friendly service, affordable

We were here on a Friday evening around 10:30 PM; food is only given out in takeaway bags, even if you indicate you want to eat it on the premises. We sat upstairs; everything was clean and quiet. Food was ready quickly. Lots of young people who only came upstairs for the free toilet….

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to in the Netherlands. First of all, there was no toilet, or they said there wasn't one, so they didn't let us in. We ordered our breakfast at 9:20: just two bacon and egg McMuffins and two coffees. There were only three of us in the restaurant and we didn't get our order until 35 minutes later. McDonald's is supposed to be a fast food chain, but this one absolutely isn't. After we finally got our breakfast, 35 minutes later, it turned out that the girl had brewed the coffee 20 minutes earlier and brought it cold, so she had to brew it again. Disastrous, unfriendly, and terrible service, I can't say more about it.

Delicious burgers, but dirty seating. There was trash on the floor, and the tables weren't cleaned. Trash cans were overflowing.

It's a McDonald's. The food is fine, the service depends on the day, and the atmosphere is mediocre. Lots of crazy people and it often feels a bit empty or crowded.

I had just ordered food from a plate at their place and got a ticket. I went to the cash register because I was going to pay with cash. A girl with glasses at the cash register gave her the ticket and said I had to pay 21.50. I paid that and then sat down. I waited for half an hour. I asked where my food was. They said it was gone. I didn't pay. I said yes. I had just paid that girl with the glasses. The girl was lying and said no, that's not true. I thought, huh, why is she lying? I kept saying, look at the camera footage. I paid. She kept saying no. I kept saying, I paid. Look at the camera. You'll see. I paid that girl and she even gave me change. They kept saying no. I had to rush to Belgium and of course I couldn't have a big argument there about getting my money back because I had to leave. But I think it's really bad customer service. The girl was lying that I didn't pay. I kept saying, look at the camera. I even paid three times if I didn't pay. It's really bad business and service, not recommended.

I swear, I had to wait an hour for two mayo sauces. I received them after a full hour and a half.

I wanted to eat here. The restrooms cost 80 cents and were very dirty and neglected. I took a good look at this outdated, dingy place and went elsewhere for lunch.

This MC is a joke. Everything's dirty. No paper in the machines. No number plates. No order on the board. Long waits. The people behind the counter look like they don't know what to do...

While I was eating my burger, I was thrown out by my feet. What a scandalous McDonald's. Have you ever experienced someone grabbing your feet? And being dragged outside by an immigrant? I hate the Netherlands these days… get lost.

Tables full of rubbish, bins full too

The Quarter Pounder's meat tasted old and stale. The bun tasted like plastic. The fries were lukewarm and quickly went cold. The doors were open, so it wasn't very pleasant inside with the frost. The staff was unfocused and slow to serve the food. It's been a while, but I'll never go back.

80 cent toilet fee for a paying customer, unfriendly service, dirty

Very messy. You have to pay for the toilet, which is fine, but it should be clean, and they were far from it; they were just filthy. On the second floor, there was a lot of trash and food scraps everywhere.

Not a fan of the capital "M," it was a chore. Tables weren't clean; it was the customers' fault, not the staff's.

December 6, 2025: I quickly grabbed a milkshake. I'd asked for chocolate. Unfortunately, it had no flavor. The restrooms were dirty and cost 80 cents. In short, not recommended!!

There's always something missing from your order. Not all employees speak Dutch. The food isn't always prepared properly and is overcooked. Too expensive for poor quality food.

My advice: get your food here and leave as quickly as possible. The atmosphere inside is desolate.

There is chaos and dirt everywhere.

The cheese was cold. Deals don't work. Terrible store. The store is useless and everything is broken. The employees are annoying and unfriendly.

McDonald's is like all the others, but it's big and centrally located.

I think it's really unsanitary here. Customers sometimes behave quite antisocially, and there's little the staff can do about it. But it's time they put more supervision upstairs because it's truly disgusting and chaotic!

Friendly staff. Great food and drinks! It's a shame there are often noisy, no-good people inside, who, to me, are a real stinker. Even worse is that little action is taken against them; otherwise, the atmosphere would get 5 stars. Luckily, there are plenty of normal people inside now. So: DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

These people pick up your order before their "pickup time," and then when you ask about it, they say, "If you want your food, you'll have to behave normally and wait." Prices are too expensive, but that's normal at McDonald's. Chocolate milk comes in a pre-made carton that you can get at Jumbo and is heated. Ridiculous.

Ordered two BLTs in the morning and waited almost half an hour for them... and it wasn't busy at all! The staff chatted with each other in their own language (not Dutch), which made the atmosphere a bit strange. The food was good.

It's a McDonald's. That's about it.

Bam!!! There he is. Just the nasty cousin you didn't see coming. Big tasty and big allowed. We give him a warm welcome. But he's also welcome without knocking.

Update October 12, 2025: This location is on a slippery slope. Having to pay for restrooms as a guest is not nice. But when you then enter a filthy restroom with the drain snake in the toilet and all over the floor, something is wrong. The children's restroom for our son ran out of toilet paper and didn't work. Don't go here for the hygiene and ambiance, only if you're picking up fast food.

Worst McDonald's in the Netherlands

Trash cans overflowing with practically no seating for the number of visitors they have and paying for the toilet.

The kids really wanted to go to McDonald's, so we did. The scanner at the ordering kiosk was broken, so we quickly had to switch. On Sunday afternoon, all the tables downstairs were occupied. After a few minutes, we were able to pick up our order. There was no personal contact, and order numbers were barely checked. The tables upstairs were worn and didn't seem clean. The food was fine. I returned the recyclable cup to the cash register. The staff clearly explained how it works.

“Open until 2 o’clock” was completely untrue, at 20 to 2 we stood in front of a closed door!

It was terribly dirty and messy. It felt very unhygienic.

We were at McDonald's at 9:15 PM, trying to get an iced frappe, but everything was sold out. I was watching the drinks clerk make a frappe, and then I confronted the manager about it. He basically called me a liar because the machine was supposedly flushing. I worked at McDonald's for eight years, both as a manager and on Karnemelkstraat, so I know full well that's nonsense. You can't just mark everything as sold out at 9:00 PM to make things easier for yourself, just to avoid the lost revenue! The staff and the restaurant were also filthy, which is a shame.

Why pay €0.80 for a filthy toilet without toilet paper? I understand that the visitors are the cause, but please provide more cleaning when necessary. And indicate where the men's room is so men don't have to use the women's, which I saw happen several times within fifteen minutes.

The photo of the restroom in one of the previous reviews turns out to be the calling card for this McDonald's. It's actually too dirty to walk your dog. And then you have to pay €0.80 just to be "allowed" to use it, even though you just finished your meal there. The information on the gates suggests that you can get this money back at the checkout. When we tried (and also mentioned the filthy restroom we encountered), three staff members were called over—but we didn't get a refund. They said they couldn't do it. Very strange AND disgusting!

McDonald's is always a great experience! 🍔🍟 The food is fresh, prepared quickly, and tastes delicious every time. The service is friendly and efficient, so you never have to wait long. The restaurant is clean, modern, and cozy. The consistency and quality, in particular, make McDonald's my go-to place for a quick and delicious meal. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good, reliable fast food!

25 minutes waiting time for two burgers, very dirty inside, not many people stayed there but the employees were very slow..... horrible MC donalds, worst ever seen.

I went there to get breakfast: eggs and bacon. It took 25 minutes to get it. And I ended up making the wrong meat choices. They resolved this by giving me the right one. I ordered 4 sandwiches, but ended up with 8. Maybe I was there at the wrong time, but I wasn't satisfied.

Great McDonald's. The new numbering system for eat-in, home delivery, and takeout is sometimes confusing. Wait times vary, depending on how busy the city center is and whether there are events, for example. The tables and floor aren't always cleaned thoroughly.

The nice lady behind the counter was not very cheerful and disinterested, the tables and the floor were downright dirty, the furniture was worn out.
