A very positive experience visiting McDonald's Hazeldonk! 🍔😊 The staff were very friendly, helpful, and smiling, and everything was prepared quickly and efficiently. The place is well-maintained, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is fresh and delicious. I especially appreciate the friendly staff's approach—after a long drive, a place where you can quickly grab a bite to eat and be greeted by friendly staff really makes a difference. 👍 I definitely recommend McDonald's Hazeldonk. Kudos to the entire team for the excellent service and positive atmosphere! 👏😊 I'll definitely remember this visit fondly.

Just like the Mac is. Always pretty busy here. A huge downside is the €1.00 you have to pay if you want to use the toilet. €1.00 for a toilet that is anything but clean and no toilet paper, and it was actually quiet....

Waited 30 minutes for 3 hamburgers. The milkshake tasted like disinfectant. It had no strawberry flavor.

It doesn't even deserve that 1 star. You are treated so poorly here if you have a complaint about a staff member throwing the food onto the tray! A manager says the food is still edible. Sorry. But the burger was dripping with grease, the cheese was cold. And I still have a layer of grease in my mouth from those fries. And let's not even talk about the paid toilets. They were filthy too filthy for words. And I'm not a review writer!

Sorry, but this was really the worst McDonald's we have ever visited. Way too crowded, no atmosphere, paying a euro for the toilet, and on top of that the fries were raw or rock hard; the burger tasted okay, but looked terrible, really just thrown in the box. And something was missing from the order too. Napkins were all gone and the table was dirty. Never again here.

It seems that you need to check your order all the time. I buyed a pink lemonade and I paid extra for it with the cup and cola and they gave me 2 cola. She told me that it is lemonade and it wasn't. And from happy meal the nuggets were missing. Always check your order.

Just across the border (on the way back from your holiday) and a fast charger right outside the door. It was incredibly busy, but we still got our order very quickly. How do they do it! Fries are unbeatable! Exactly what you crave after a long drive.

Very mediocre experience. Upon entering, I noticed that it was really filthy. Food on the floor and dirty tables. Half of the items in the order are missing. And you have to get them yourself at the counter, too. I had a small banana shake and it tasted like whipped milk. Yuck.

A terrible experience. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The staff was extremely slow and rude. I waited over 25 minutes for a coffee and a cookie, and finally had to leave without my coffee, despite having paid for it, because I had to catch the bus. To top it all off, the restroom costs extra, even for customers eating in. A very disappointing experience. I absolutely do not recommend it; it's best to avoid it.

I pay 1 euro to use the toilet, so that’s fine, it should be clean. Ladies' toilet locked, men's locked. In broken Dutch, I was told to go to the disabled toilet. That was clogged with shit with worms! Hopeless and too filthy for words! My husband complained about it, but the staff didn't even bother to clean it, because they said "we are about to close..." Disrespectful, disgusting, and severely substandard. The compost toilets in France are cleaner than this stinking hole.

You order Earl Grey tea in a regular cup, but you get a disposable cup and not a single Earl Grey in sight. If you ask if they still have any Earl Grey, you get a grumpy snap and the remark that this is what it is. If I had known it was sold out, I wouldn't have ordered it. It also took a long time for the order to be prepared; furthermore, as a paying customer, you have to pay 1 euro for the toilet, and it isn't clean. Anyway, the coffee I also ordered was decent.

We had our food within 5 minutes. Deliciously hot. A table was available quickly. The downside is that you have to pay 1 euro for the toilet, and you have eaten at McDonald's.

The food was okay, but the parking lot was full of trucks and the place wasn't very clean; it wasn't inviting. It's located right next to a highway hotel where shady characters hang around...

We ate here because we were returning from vacation and it was on our route. We ordered, and when the food arrived, the McFlurry was melted and half-empty. The fries containers were also very empty, soggy, and had little salt, and a chicken nugget was missing from one of the containers. Furthermore, many containers and packaging were covered in sauce and other food scraps. The person who looked like the manager was standing in the kitchen with his arms crossed, glaring angrily or irritatedly at customers and doing little to resolve kitchen issues. For nearly 100 euros, the food really should have been prepared with a bit more care. The toilets were also quite expensive, as you have to pay a euro per person even if you eat there.

Using the toilet costs 1 euro. After paying, the gate didn't work, and I (68 years old with arthritic knees) had to crawl under the gate over the dirty tiles. Why isn't using the toilet free for paying customers?

No towels were provided, and what's worse, the toilets cost money. A disgrace.

We were at McDonald's and we had a cheeseburger, but without some toppings, and when it was ready, my mom said to the staff, "Cheeseburger with nothing on it, huh?" and they said, "Yeah, nothing on it," and when I ate it, everything was on it. We also got a broken toy, and they were slow and we got sauce, so I would say better staff. I wouldn't drive there again to McDonald's Hazeldonk East.

I had a very bad experience at this McDonald's. First, my deals weren't working on the ordering screen. Then I went to the counter where I waited at least 10 minutes before being helped. When I was finally served, it turned out the deals were supposed to work, but they didn't. Then I placed my order and went to wait for it to be ready; that took at least 30 minutes. The numbers appearing on the screen were constantly being called out incorrectly, making it a disorganized mess. My number appeared on the screen, but my order wasn't ready yet. Also, my ice cream had been sitting there so long that it had turned into soup. Truly unacceptable. I also lost my autistic daughter's crown. I did NOT consider this a good experience. I advise everyone against going there. Also, the drive there was no fun at all, just road closures and detours; it was unbelievable.

Poorly organized service at a large rest stop. Communication between the kitchen and the café is nonexistent. Despite asking for the cappuccino, it took 11 minutes after the fries were served.

The restaurant was poorly cleaned, and there were significantly long waiting times, even when it wasn't busy. There was so much sauce on my wrap that it was more like a liquid. Not tasty.

You want to skip this McDonald’s. What a terrible experience this was. There was dirt (and food scraps) everywhere on the floor. They really don't clean well. Then, after ordering, you get your food... We ordered 2 burgers: a cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger. We also added a milkshake. Upon opening the bag, it was already clear: they just threw the cheeseburgers in. There was more cheese on the paper than on the burger. And everything was loose in the packaging. On top of that, the burgers were mega greasy and didn't taste good. The milkshake was so terribly thick that it couldn't be drunk with a straw. All in all, it was a worthless experience here for the umpteenth time.

They really should do more to ensure the buses have a parking spot without a truck on it.

I planned a delicious breakfast, it almost turned into lunch😎 It's very nice outside, very spacious inside. You can place your order at terminals, unfortunately there is no table service. There is a huge selection, it can't be called cheap. It's strange that you can pick up coffee and food at a separate counter. Cleanliness is average, the staff cleaned the floors, but no one cleaned the tables! The order was prepared relatively quickly, everything was included. There was atmospheric music, Wifi was fast but a couple of apps didn't run on it. There are a lot of flies in the bathroom.

I was helped in the drive-thru by an English-speaking man and I wanted to withdraw cash, but the card machine wasn't working. According to that man, that was my problem. Eventually, the manager came over and said it was my fault too, because my phone wasn't working properly. In the end, we tried two phones and a bank card, and then another card machine appeared and suddenly it worked (with a considerable queue behind me by then). I went to the window to pick up my order; they weren't very friendly there either, and they were quite snappy. The food was good, but the service wasn't.

Staff polite and professional, seating clean, and most importantly: the burgers and fries were freshly made and warm/hot, something that is apparently no longer possible at most McDonald's.

Just ordered some food and ate it on the spot. It was quiet, yet I felt I had to wait quite a long time for the food. The tables hadn't been cleaned yet.

There were no trash cans, resulting in trash being scattered throughout the entire restaurant. The tables hadn't been cleaned for a while, as the sauce smeared on them had dried out or caked on. There was also waste from old orders on many tables. The staff was also worth writing a whole paragraph about. The staff, and even the manager, ignored the customers/guests; I had to wait 5 minutes for them to serve me, even though they had already seen me walking towards the counter. When we finally got the food, it was also very disappointing. We only received the soft serve ice cream after 10 minutes, and the rest of the order after adding another 30 minutes. The soft serve ice cream looked like it had been made by a small child; even a toddler could do better. I was also very dissatisfied with the fries; they were already stale, as they were hanging over the edge of the box, and they were lukewarm, leaning towards cold. I also know that it shouldn't be like that, and I pay extra attention to it myself, because I work at a McDonald's as well.

I recently picked up a quick meal here (after a long drive). It was ready surprisingly quickly before 11 p.m., and delicious too!

The trash cans were overflowing, and there was all sorts of stuff lying around. Dirty tables. Not exactly inviting to eat at. And certainly not a good business card for McDonald's.

The most disgusting milkshakes. Four milkshakes later, I left it after just one sip. The chicken 20 is also tasteless... The hygiene is terrible!

The customer service is not that good I mean we were on a bus to London and had to stop for a break. We ordered before everyone and got ours last because they cancelled the order unbelievable.

We wanted to use the multi-lane drive-through, but there was no one operating the terminal. It took 20-30 minutes for someone to arrive because we were driving on. The person didn't even speak Dutch and was also very curt and rude. Don't go there.

Got MEAT when ordering meatless. It clearly said "meatless" on the burger box. Clearly real meat, confirmed by others.

A quick stop for a toilet visit, you pay €0.80, but there was no toilet paper in any of the restrooms. The Netherlands is a truly underdeveloped country when it comes to public restrooms. A real nuisance...

Do they ever clean? Impossible to find a clean table. Floor covered in trash (fries, napkins, salad, etc.). Only two napkins for three people. Do we have to share them to get enough? Cold, soggy fries. Very fast service. Pay toilets 😡 We took the risk of going back in early December and nothing has changed: still impossible to find a clean table. Overflowing trash cans. There's a Turkish döner kebab shop right next door. We stopped by randomly on the way. Anyone who wants to eat Turkish food can go there, but we preferred McDonald's.

Paying top dollar for a smashed-together burger. They're completely out of control, and the staff refuses to work, is hard to understand, and definitely not customer-focused. These days, you can still get a cheaper deal at a pizzeria than at McDonald's with a smashed-together sandwich.

I ordered food from McDonald's today and it was a real disappointment. The lettuce I received was wilted, turning brown, and looked absolutely not fresh. Moreover, there was just a bit of sauce sloshed over it, as if it had been thrown together without any care. This shouldn't be served like this, especially not for the price you're paying. In short: very poor quality and not what you'd expect from McDonald's. Hopefully, something will be done about this, because this was definitely not a meal-worthy item.

It's ridiculous that you have to pay to use the restroom. Furthermore, this is truly one of the most lackluster McDonald's restaurants in the Netherlands. Although that's probably just a personal preference.
