McDonald's Hazeldonk-Oost in Breda west

I recently picked up a quick meal here (after a long drive). It was ready surprisingly quickly before 11 p.m., and delicious too!

The trash cans were overflowing, and there was all sorts of stuff lying around. Dirty tables. Not exactly inviting to eat at. And certainly not a good business card for McDonald's.

This period is called the Retirement Period.

The most disgusting milkshakes. Four milkshakes later, I left it after just one sip. The chicken 20 is also tasteless... The hygiene is terrible!

The customer service is not that good I mean we were on a bus to London and had to stop for a break. We ordered before everyone and got ours last because they cancelled the order unbelievable.

By McDonald's standards, this is very poor.

Wrong order for the umpteenth time, and half of it forgotten. Or someone else's order. They don't respond to emails. Better to eat at the neighbor's (Tockel) place.

We wanted to use the multi-lane drive-through, but there was no one operating the terminal. It took 20-30 minutes for someone to arrive because we were driving on. The person didn't even speak Dutch and was also very curt and rude. Don't go there.

Got MEAT when ordering meatless. It clearly said "meatless" on the burger box. Clearly real meat, confirmed by others.

Poverty!!!! There is no toilet paper in the toilet that you have to pay for!!! Shame on such service!!!!

Never seen such a filthy McDonald's. Almost impressive. Filthy tables, everything stuck together. And if I have to pay 80 cents to pee, I really expect a spotless restroom, not a disgusting hole with mountains of toilet paper on the floor and the icing on the cake... blood on the toilet seat!! McDonald's Hazeldonk, you should be utterly ashamed! Next time I'll just drive on and have a sandwich at home. Yuck!

After eating at this McDonald's we got very sick, the tables were not clean, it is better to skip this one

A quick stop for a toilet visit, you pay €0.80, but there was no toilet paper in any of the restrooms. The Netherlands is a truly underdeveloped country when it comes to public restrooms. A real nuisance...

It is useful to go abroad or return to the Netherlands!

Do they ever clean? Impossible to find a clean table. Floor covered in trash (fries, napkins, salad, etc.). Only two napkins for three people. Do we have to share them to get enough? Cold, soggy fries. Very fast service. Pay toilets 😡 We took the risk of going back in early December and nothing has changed: still impossible to find a clean table. Overflowing trash cans. Floor very dirty and full of trash.

Fast service and staff always smiling, despite a heavy workload.

A Mac like all the others. What I found disappointing was having to pay for the restroom and not having a phone charging station. The food this time, an ice cream, was excellent and tasted great.

There's a Turkish döner kebab shop right next door. We stopped by randomly on the way. Anyone who wants to eat Turkish food can go there, but we preferred McDonald's.

A McKroket, a salad with warm chicken strips, and a milkshake. It was all as expected. It was quiet at this time of day.

The children's play area couldn't be opened because it was supposedly broken. There was no alternative, and the children were disappointed.

Friendly staff and a Big Mac like it was meant to be. Lovely. 👍👍🤘

Good McDonald's, fast service. Standard prices.

I ordered food from McDonald's today and it was a real disappointment. The lettuce I received was wilted, turning brown, and looked absolutely not fresh. Moreover, there was just a bit of sauce sloshed over it, as if it had been thrown together without any care. This shouldn't be served like this, especially not for the price you're paying. In short: very poor quality and not what you'd expect from McDonald's. Hopefully, something will be done about this, because this was definitely not a meal-worthy item.

Paying top dollar for a smashed-together burger. They're completely out of control, and the staff refuses to work, is hard to understand, and definitely not customer-focused. These days, you can still get a cheaper deal at a pizzeria than at McDonald's with a smashed-together sandwich.

Way too expensive and have to pay for toilet use

None of the staff spoke Dutch, and scanning a coupon code was impossible. We received no assistance until we got angry. Very unpleasant.

The nuggets tasted three days old, the sweet and sour was forgotten, and I got the wrong flavor of milkshake… there were only two other people inside. Of course, you only discover that when you're on your way.

We had to wait fifteen minutes for a milkshake and a coffee at a quarter to one in the morning while we were the only ones there... and not even an explanation or anything, just pretending nothing happened

Had to wait a really long time at the MCdrive even though it wasn't busy at all.

It's ridiculous that you have to pay to use the restroom. Furthermore, this is truly one of the most lackluster McDonald's restaurants in the Netherlands. Although that's probably just a personal preference.

9:20AM and still closed, even they should start 9:00.

Because it was too busy and the staff didn't follow the correct procedure, it was even busier and the food took even longer to arrive. The staff was also not very friendly. When you saw your number was ready and walked to the counter, it wasn't ready, and your number was suddenly gone from the screen. And you weren't politely told to leave the counter.

Its supposed to be open at 9:00. Its 9:15 right now and the workers just walking around and they dont want to open the dooors. 5 people is in front of the doors and they just dont care.

Not all MCs are the same. This one is definitely worse. But maybe it was the time, 11 PM.

You'll want to skip this McDonald's. What a terrible experience this was. There was trash everywhere. They really don't clean properly. Then, after ordering, you get your food... We ordered two burgers: a cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger. They also added a milkshake. When we opened the bag, it was clear: they just threw the cheeseburgers in. There was more cheese on the paper than on the burger. And everything was slick in the packaging. The burgers were incredibly greasy and tasted awful. The milkshake was so incredibly thick that it couldn't be drunk with a straw. All in all, it was yet another lousy experience.

Well, McDonald's is McDonald's. You pay too much for what you get. And this time, they didn't forget anything at the McDonald's in Hazeldonk. For years, they've been forgetting something every time we come back from vacation. But the kids love it.

Just the way Mac should be! Simply good...

Yesterday I popped in for a quick bite to eat, and all the trash cans were overflowing. The floor was full of trash that didn't fit, and there were tons of dirty tables. It was busy at the counter, and instead of putting an order "ready," they'd shout it out once or twice incomprehensibly. Then, the customer service department told them you had to pay 80 cents to use the restroom and you could only use one receipt per order for a 50-cent refund. So, if you need to use the restroom after your meal, you'll end up paying 80 cents. It's just a bad McDonald's that can't handle the crowds.

I hope you have enough time, because the word "fast food" is applied here with reverse psychology. The word "slow" is not.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, I've never been to a worser maccies in my life, this was my first impression of the Netherlands on my trip, absolutely shocking.

McDonald's is like any other McDonald's. You have to like it, and it's also quite expensive for what you get (factory hamburger).

This McDonald's doesn't get 5 stars, and perhaps they can't help it. But in my opinion, this is a McDonald's frequented by many (young) tourists. This is clearly reflected in the tables and the floor. It's not exactly clean and certainly not cozy. But the food was otherwise excellent, and that's the most important thing.

McDonald's is a place I gladly return to. The service is always quick and courteous, and the food is as expected – delicious and served without long waits. The menu is diverse, so everyone will find something to their liking. The restaurant is clean, the tables are well-kept, and the atmosphere is perfect for a leisurely meal, even while traveling.

It's good. I took a break on the way. It's on the highway.

Well I ordered inside and there were no more Diem sheets so we had to get the food in loose bags, it was not complete, it had to be returned and we asked 😢😢

A terrible experience, I've never seen them forget anything... no napkins, no straws, cold fries, and very little sauce on the Big Mac, which was unfortunately lukewarm. The staff speaks and understands little Dutch...not helpful. This is the first McDonald's I've had to pay for the toilet...outrageous, the machine didn't work, but you lost your money. Finally, people crawled under it. We'll never come back here again.

The toilets were especially disappointing. Of the approximately 10 toilets (for women), only two were open, and they were really not clean, and neither had toilet paper. And you pay 0.80 for that...

When the personnel is acting so interested and the food is so blend, you just never wanna go back

Milkshake inedible Exchanged, but the second one was also inedible. It was a cup full of foam. Never had anything like it. The toilet was filthy. I paid for it, but it was a disgusting mess. No toilet paper available. Stay away from this McDonald's.

McDonald's is the first thing you'll encounter when driving into the Netherlands from Belgium. This was our last stop. We stretched our legs, grabbed an early lunch, and took a quick trip to the bathroom. The restrooms were spacious and clean, but they're not free, costing €0.80. You can pay by cash or card. Small children can go through a free gate.

Too crowded, which doesn't benefit the "quality," especially when you compare it to the prices being charged. For 5 people, it'll cost you 100 euros. Moreover, the sandwiches are only getting smaller. In short, you're better off going to Subway, spending less money, but with well-filled sandwiches.

Terribly bad. * Terribly filthy restrooms that charge almost a euro for, even if you eat in or order takeout at McDonald's. I'm happy to pay to use a restroom, but I expect a clean and well-maintained one. * Cold fries. (There were at least twenty containers of fries already scooped, so they were getting cold. It was so cold and uncomfortable that we threw them away.) * Sloppily made burgers. Half the ingredients were lying next to them. * Poorly folded Sweet Chili Wrap, causing the dressing to sag. * The order console didn't provide a receipt (printer error). I reported it to two staff members, but I didn't get any help, and the printer error wasn't resolved, resulting in several people after me without a receipt/order number. * No napkins were provided. * Several people around me reported missing items from their orders. In short: they had absolutely no control. Really bad.

McDonald's along the highway. Very busy, although the team does everything they can to keep things running smoothly. It's a shame you have to pay for the restroom.

Too busy, staff does their best

It's a tradition to eat after returning from vacation. Unfortunately, it's always crowded with people who share the same tradition. The grounds are outdated and in poor condition.

Delicious, really fresh and hot food. Our daughter spilled water from her Happy Meal water bottle, and the manager took care of it, asking if we'd like a new one. Perfect!

Enjoyed eating hamburgers and chicken nuggets again

We were there on a Saturday, late afternoon. It was busy, with many vacationers on their way home. Dirty, greasy floor, and dirty tables. Food was okay, but the order didn't quite get through to the staff member who spoke only moderate Dutch. Gluten-free options were limited. Toilet visits cost 0.80 cents per person.

We wanted to eat here, but there's no parking for a caravan or trailer. And there are lots of vacationers. People park in bus/truck spaces or across parking spaces. Too bad, we drove on again...

Unfortunately, there is no vegan burger option, there are only nuggets and they were very crispy and tasty but quite greasy.

Yet another MC restaurant where the staff thinks they are running a playground.

McDonald's wasn't open according to opening hours. I waited until 8:10 and still didn't get a response. The staff was unresponsive and had no idea when McDonald's would open. A very disappointing start to the day.

The restaurant was supposed to open at 8:00 AM, according to its opening hours. At 8:10 AM, the doors were still closed and the chairs were still on the tables. I saw staff inside and approached them outside, but received no response. Very disappointing.

Please give good training to staff, in order to deliver complete orders in take away bag. Always new faces and they don't know what they are doing. Incharge with grumpy face.

A pretty clean McDonald's. You have to pay to use the restrooms, but given its location at the border and its role as a rest stop, that makes sense. There are plenty of ordering kiosks, but they don't deliver to your table. At least not when we were there. There's plenty of room. The order was ready quickly and was hot. So, no complaints.

Disgusting and expensive food, grumpy staff, and despite paying €30, I still had to pay for a smelly toilet. A real disgrace. Disgrace to McDonald's.

Large restaurant, clean, cozy seating areas

You can see the team working incredibly hard, but they're simply a few hands short. Customers at the coffee counter had to wait ages, and only after asking repeatedly did someone come to help them. Everything looks well-maintained. It's great that you can keep an eye on your car from your table. Restrooms are located at the entrance for €0.80 (contactless payment), and they were also clean.

Completely faded glory. Seats in an old Laplace. More than half of the seats are unused, shutters closed, etc. You have to pay for the restroom, but you don't get anything in return, and not a particularly clean one either. The staff speaks little Dutch and had to return twice because things were wrong or missing.

A McDonald's where you can quickly grab something to eat and drink. The parking lot is usually crowded and not very inviting. Inside, it looks okay.

Great place. Fast service. Highly recommended! And oh yeah, delicious 😋 for a quick greasy bite when you're really craving one.. 😉🤣🤭

The €7 wrap is empty. The employee claims they give them to everyone. I don't recommend it.

We got a croquette burger at the MC drive and ate it in the car. This was tasty, but I think writing a comment is unnecessary. If you can't do this, you should do something else. Greetings Marc

They could work on tidiness in the hall. A bit of a mess even if there aren't too many people. The bathroom isn't in the best shape either...

Haven't been to mac for years now stopped for coffee on the way on holiday. It's dark inside and the digital order board is difficult. Fortunately you can also just order. We look for a clean table which is not easy. The coffee is delicious the fries and croquette burger mwa. Just a quick visit to the toilet for €0.80 and we've seen mac again for years

A McDonalds is a McDonalds but what makes it bad are the paid toilets. I think that if you eat somewhere you should at least be able to go to the toilet for free. Therefore not recommended you can better drive on and get a mcdonalds further!
