McDonald's in Breda west

The highway was heading from the Netherlands towards Belgium. Because it was a Sunday holiday and the road didn't open until noon, we arrived here after 1 PM and needed to use the restroom and get some takeout. The restrooms were supposed to be free, but both men and women could use them directly. They were fairly clean. This rest stop was located at the border between the two countries. The McDonald's inside was full of young people; American fast food culture is truly ubiquitous. In Europe, most major rest stops have Starbucks, reminding drivers to drink coffee. Larger rest stops also have McDonald's outlets for dining. These restaurants all use self-service ordering. The wait time wasn't too bad. The food was similar to what we had in Taiwan, but the fish burgers there were better; these were too dry.

Usually longer waiting time than in other restaurants of this chain

Never saw a normal McDonald's where you have to pay for the restroom and on top of that super dirty and no toilet paper. If you're charging at least make sure it's clean please.

It's ridiculous when you eat for €35 and have to pay €0.80 to use the restroom. So, €1.60 for two people is outrageous. In a public place. Luckily, the waiters were great. I say stay away and find another place; there are plenty of them.

I agree with the low reviews. It's unheard of that even after paying for the past, you still have to pay to use the restrooms. When I asked the staff, they didn't even give me an explanation or a reason for this policy. The kiosks don't tell you what kind of sauces are in the sandwiches, even if you go to the "customize" section. Furthermore, they don't offer the option to pay cash at the cash register. Only after canceling/rejecting the transaction at the POS does the display show that you can also pay the staff. The sofas are nice. More of a circus than a McDonald's.

A cozy place to eat, with comfortable chairs and benches. Fast service, ready in no time, even around dinner time. Plenty of parking, and you can even take a stroll.

Solid, I'm not thrilled, but it's fine for emergencies, it's very clean and tidy, the prices aren't exactly commendable.

Dry bad and cold food. Super dirty, no clean tables, restroom full of paper on the floors, and there milkshake we gave back. Just warm half whipped cream.

Waited 20 minutes for a small order. Hot chocolate and two McMuffins. They also said they were out of toilet paper and wouldn't refill it. They're not the fastest.

We arrived two minutes before closing time and were still allowed to order! :) It might have been annoying for them, but we didn't notice anything! It was delicious and warm! Legends!!!!

The first order was delivered fairly quickly, but the second order, a single coffee, took about 40 minutes to arrive. We approached them twice until they pointed out that the coffee was waiting, but they never gave it to us, and it was already cold. Next on the list, Big Tasty, which is just a name, most likely a Mini Tasty. Overall, it's so-so.

The worst service, and the brunette girl threw my drink glasses that were half empty. It deserved 10 stars minus.

I ordered food from McDonald's today and it was a real disappointment. The lettuce I received was wilted, turning brown, and looked absolutely not fresh. Moreover, there was just a bit of sauce sloshed over it, as if it had been thrown together without any care. This shouldn't be served like this, especially not for the price you're paying. In short: very poor quality and not what you'd expect from McDonald's. Hopefully, something will be done about this, because this was definitely not a meal-worthy product.

Clean spacious McD's. Lots of parking outside. Pass the Shell and Starbucks. We ate breakfast here and they prepared everything after we ordered it so it was nice and hot. The bathroom costs 80 cents and they give you a coupon for 50 cent discount.

The opening hours don't match the information on Google and the restaurant's website. The staff opens and closes the place at their own discretion. Long wait times despite a small number of customers. The place was dirty upon opening – there was a spilled drink on the floor. The area is full of trash. The restroom is pay-to-use, even for customers. Parking is difficult. Trucks have nowhere to park and are parked everywhere.

Food was fast and good if you use the toilet before ordering then you get money back with what you paid for the toilet

Paying €80 for filthy toilets. Not okay! Blood still on the toilet seat, used toilet paper everywhere, and no way to properly wash your hands since the sinks are also downright filthy. Not fun if you still have to eat your order...

You won't get those two 50-cent toilet fees back, and if you order again, it's ridiculous, and the restrooms are filthy too. So this is a good business model for them; you're better off going across the street. Arguing with the staff doesn't solve anything either; they simply don't care. One star is still too many!

Staff is in a hurry, is super busy. Several mistakes happen and the burgers look thrown together... Everything is crooked. Waited a long time and then there are mistakes in the order. Also really scandalous because of the drinks 4.10 euros for a bottle of Spa Reine.

Prices are ridiculously high. Almost 10 euros for a burger and 6 euros for a shake. Toilets are 80 cents and just plain filthy.

Unfortunately, as a driver, I regularly come here because decent food for a professional driver is no longer available in the evenings. My recent experience with this McDonald's is that the sandwiches taste like perfume. It's fine that you want to smell fresh as an employee, but then you should keep your hands off your face or anything with perfume on it. The gloves they wear don't really help when you run them through your hair or face.

We were well-served by Vladimir, wearing his best Fries forever shirt. We also saw Rashid and Mohammed working hard and helping other guests. It was a great atmosphere and I definitely recommend it if you want to see these three musketeers in action.

INCREDIBLY POOR SERVICE I was at the door at 9:00, but it wasn't open, and when I called, they said it would be another 15 minutes. I had little time and am very disappointed with this store.

It's a fine McDonalds, though barely any staff speak Dutch, and you have to pay extra to use the restroom even though you're a paying customer. Yes you can get a 50 cent discount, but that's not an option if you've already made your purchase. And even then, you'd still pay 30 cents.

I've traveled half the world and I've always eaten at McDonald's, but this is the first time in my life that I have to pay to go to the bathroom, 3 out of 6 desktops don't work, the bins are full and spilling and I waited, after the first order, for just one coffee for almost 10 minutes, little staff and therefore poor service.

Unprecedented chaos at this McDonald's. The staff can't handle it, the tables are dirty, there's trash everywhere, and the bins are overflowing. And you pay €0.80 for filthy restrooms, and they were out of toilet paper. Next time, we'll drive right past and visit a different McDonald's.

Absolutely insane! If you come here with a family for dinner, you have to pay 80 cents per person to use the restroom, and you get 50 cents back, with a maximum of one voucher per order. When you order, it's always a question whether you'll get everything. This time, again, you didn't. For the price (€60 for 4 people), you don't expect to pay €0.80 for the restrooms. Sort something out with the receipt or something!

You have to wait a minum of 30 a 40 minutes to get your food, very slow service, and the toilets are very dirty.

A staff member walks by, bringing the food to your table. They're shuffling their shoes around a lot. It seems like they're not motivated.

Worst McDonald's experience ever! Waited 28 minutes for an order that ultimately wasn't warm and was still short a hamburger. A disorganized, chaotic mess. You'd expect better from McDonald's, even next to a highway. Unfortunately.

I ordered through the drive-thru. That went well. After paying, I was handed a drink at the next counter and the window was slammed shut. I still had to get the rest of my order. After about 15 minutes, it was ready, and I drove home. When I got home, I discovered the sauce I ordered for two fries wasn't included. The sauce dripped off the QP burger with my first bite. Everything was on the floor/clothes. There was so much sauce. This was simply not right. The McChicken was the same. Too much sauce, and it looked like the burgers had been thrown together instead of being cooked properly. It didn't look very professional. If I lived closer, I would have gone to complain. This doesn't give this place a good name.

A limited choice and a hefty price tag.

If you need to use the toilet u will need to pay. So do that first before ordering as the ticket receipt I think gave a discount. Would have liked to have known that before ordering.

Two cups of coffee, lots of staff, and very quiet. Then you have to wait 15 minutes. When I then ask if someone could make my order, not my department. Finally, I received the coffee, but there was no friendly word. Best McDonald's. 3.75 for a 33 cl sparkling water bottle. That's just not right. I know what the purchase price is. Last McDonald's for me.

The hassle of having to pay €0.15 per non-returnable cup should be better explained, especially for a restaurant near the border. However, not all staff members speak Dutch. Our table wasn't clean, but it was cleaned immediately upon request.

One of the staff members speaks English. One young man receives a coffee customer who asks for "cafe." He didn't understand. He stares stubbornly at the screen. The man says again: "cafe?" The young man didn't understand this. To which I responded, "He's asking for coffee. You've been to school, haven't you?" It wasn't angry, but rather joking. This young man then, offended, indicated he didn't appreciate these remarks. New kids on the block. They can stab each other, but they're immediately offended by a remark. I'm not exactly pleased with that. Wise guys who don't look at you and always have their mouths shut. Bad assertiveness.

Laaste keer dat ik hier kom. Gewoon belachelijk dat je als betalende klant gewoon €0,70 cent moet betalen voor het toilet. Je zal met je gezin gaan eten ben je nog een flink bedrag extra kwijt voor een stukje service die eigenlijk bij die (te dure) prijzen zou moeten inzitten.

Starbucks was fine but 3 of us paid €1 each for the loo at the service area and they obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Not enough care.

Cold fries and wraps, the tables and floor were covered in trash, and the trash cans were overflowing. The toilets were disgusting; there was no toilet paper. Shameful for a pay toilet 🙄 I should point out that there was practically no one in the restaurant; the staff pretended not to notice the trash on the floor and walked over it without paying attention.

Very cool box…NOT! I think this is the only McDo where customers are also laughed at after being treated arrogantly! I even think they can't read Dutch there because in my drink that I didn't want ice there was, yes… ice!

Worst mcdonalds, rude staff. My daughter's Happy Menu doesn't have toy inside the box. I went to ask the staff and show her the happy meal, she insists that there is one inside. I have to take EVERYTHING OUT to prove that I don't have any toy inside. She throws the toy in the box, without apologize. Our drink is wrong, our salad doesn't include any dressing. (They forgot to put it inside).
