McDonald's in Rotterdam Centrum

Full of flies, there were flies on my food. I politely asked if I could have another sandwich, and the manager very informally said no because I had already taken a bite out of it. I ended up throwing the sandwich away.

Really rude on the phone when I asked a simple and nice question and she just closed the call on me without manners 😡😡😡😡

Garbage place, waiting for so long not even that busy. Workers slow as snails.. Terrible also made.. Dont recommend…

The products and service are up to McDonald's standards, but the restrooms are unsightly.

What an incompetent mess this branch is. I ordered something for takeout a few times, and every time the order was incorrect. The last time, I went back to see if I could get a refund, since some items were missing. According to the manager on duty, that wasn't possible because this hadn't happened during his shift. He further indicated that things can go wrong sometimes and that he couldn't and wasn't going to do anything about it. I subsequently filed a complaint with McDonald's. The franchisee was supposed to contact me, but of course, I haven't heard anything since. Furthermore, you always have to wait a long time for the orders to be ready, while they push the receipts away on the screen so it looks like they are working quickly. Avoid this branch; there are better ones to be found in the city.

Filthy in there, yuck. Overflowing trash cans. Tables are sticky and dirty. Toilet too filthy for words. I'm skipping the next one.

Busy. Kiosks for ordering and clean bathrooms. Food was good and the drinks had ice so ....all good.

This McDonalds is probably one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too. Yesterday I ordered around 5:13pm a simple order: two small burgers, small fries and small coke, it was 5:40pm and I still haven’t received my food. I told them I needed to leave since I was in a hurry and I demanded a refund, which they did, however I found it odd the refund was in cash when I paid with Apple Pay. The customer service here is the worst. Behind me there was a long queue of around 30 people waiting for their order as well. Everyone was annoyed, as they should be. Please don’t come here! You will regret it. You will leave hungry, with no food and not even an apology from the employees.

My evening snack turned into a midnight snack. Wow, they deserve the award for the slowest McDonald's in the Netherlands.

Total disaster, as soon as you enter and start ordering you notice the chaos, the mess, and the lack of even the slightest hygiene. You can analyze all the microbes in this location. It wasn't a coincidence, I've been to the location before. Same problem. We're never coming in again.

This might be the slowest MacDonalds I've ever been to. Went 4 times (2x coffee/breakfast, 1x just a drink, 1x dinner) and had to wait over 20 minutes every. single. time. It's supposed to be fast food but here they don't take the "fast" very seriously. In general I think this location is just severely understaffed since the staff that is there is kind and seem to be working very hard.

Staff can't help you. Too busy with other things! Fries too salty!!

It's like stepping into the Third World; the stupidity radiates from them just like from many a Rotterdammer. Managing to mess up an order of just one ice cream is truly heartbreaking. Waiting 25 minutes, asking multiple times, and getting a rude response about having to wait. How stupid must the staff be? It was busier with people coming to complain than with orders. A hopeless establishment that looks more like Park Apeldoorn.

Today is Friday, bathrooms have no soap, when asked the staff they said no soap till Monday!

The food was quite good, the service wasn't really there, I did everything myself, he was on a pole and the atmosphere was a bit grim.

Filet-o-fish is very dry (see photo). Please add more sauce to the filet-o-fish, the Big Mac, and everything else; there's always so little sauce, it doesn't taste good at all, it's very dry.

The manager isnt there. We had a problem, speak with the manager and only other workers making his Job. Very chaotic experience just for an Order. In my opinion this person shoulnt be called manager.

Very disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's near Beurs metro station in Rotterdam. We ordered a menu with burgers that should include pickles, but they were missing. We noticed it immediately and returned after taking only one bite. The staff refused to acknowledge the mistake, did not offer a replacement or refund, and even took away our food without resolving the issue. We have proof of payment and a video showing the problem. This is not acceptable customer service. I hope this issue will be resolved.

Genuinely dreadful, spits in the face of phrase “fast food”

Very bad experience at this McDonald’s location. I waited about 20 minutes for a cappuccino, and when it was finally ready, it was already cold because it had been sitting there for so long. I therefore refused it. The organization leaves much to be desired and the team comes across as unprofessional. Unfortunately, a disappointing experience.

They go through the orders one by one, even though you ordered ice cream. When you point this out, they just barely manage to shrug their shoulders. (Previous order) Ordered coffee, they indicate the machine is defective. A few minutes later, I hear the coffee grinder of one of the two McAfe coffee machines. Ordered again, stood waiting for at least 15 minutes before someone started making the McAfe products.

The waiters were very indifferent, inefficient, and lacked professionalism.

The food is not the best, but the service is very fast and the price is good.

Fast food option. Quick service. Self-order kiosks.

It's extremely crowded and they take a long time to give you your order.

Possibly the worst McDonald in Zuid Holland

Don't go there in late evening. They are removing clients physically even if you are still very busy with your food. Can't be like that. Management should look out. It happened not this year. Don't sell products if you can't wait until people will finish them by eating naturally.

McDonald's is okay, but it's always a question whether you get a complete meal or a friendly employee. One time it's almost perfect, another time not. The food is good though.

Employees chat amongst themselves. Burgers are left on the tray for 7 minutes to finish cooking. Coke and fries also remain at the pump.

Always very busy and often messy with trash on the floor and tables. Also, some maintenance is overdue. It's a shame.

This McDonald's was extremely dirty. The restrooms, in particular, were extremely filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Took about 15 minutes to get some service. Order took about another 15 minutes just for a simple drink. Very shamefull. Workers don't even speak dutch in a dutch city. Food quality is in perspective of other McDonald's insanely terrible. Just walk to the kfc for anything better or go to a different mac.

I waited for my order for over 30 minutes, 2 pathetic burgers and a cola, the McDonald's manager was working on February 19th at 8:20 pm, told me to wait and didn't even let me say a word to ask about my order, a very disgusting establishment, after this I'm unlikely to visit them in the future

Everything was wrong. The bathrooms were covered in urine, they gave us the wrong food, and they don't speak English. The service was terrible.

Extremely antisocial staff, a small woman who couldn't even speak Dutch and whose English was broken didn't even bother to look at you when you told her you had diabetes and desperately needed to run an errand. Extremely antisocial!! Afterward, a kind man in charge helped me, but he couldn't do anything. Absolutely 0.0 service, too bad I couldn't give 0 stars.

I went there on January 24, 2026, for an order of about 25 euros. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes, I never received my order, so I left in desperation... Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. I won't be going back; there was no commercial gesture to compensate for the wait.

After picking up our order upon returning home, it turned out to be incorrect. We ordered breakfast but received the wrong McMuffins. This also happened with previous pickup orders. My tip: check your order at the counter and open the hamburger wrappers before leaving this store!

Unprecedentedly slow service for a McDonald’s joint.

Bad service. The toilet or faucet isn't working most of the time and if it's working it dirty. Staff are rude or unhelpful and dont look like they want to be there. Instead of giving me my food at the counter, the guy there is flirting with a girl and asking here number. Crazy stuff. So many employees parading around, yet no table service? And prices are more expensive than other McDonald's.

Most of the staff is unfriendly and looks like they dont want to be there, orders come out slow even if it isnt busy and they also often mess up orders, go to another place

My friend and I ate a muffin & egg breakfast, mine was delicious, my friend found a shell on the larger half of the food and was told by the manager that she ate too much, so they wouldn't give her another one back. pathetic regret and behavior

The other McDonald's on the same road has better taste I believe

They scream the number only in dutch and not even appears the number on the small tv, my order ws there for 5minutes while i was waiting to see the number on the screen. Never comer here agajn. Very messy in the kitchen

The interior was a bit messy, I thought the seats were dirty, but overall it was fine, no problems.

It felt familiar to go to McDonald's in Rotterdam again. The kiosk wasn't working, so I ordered at the counter. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the fries sauce that I'd paid for. So, the service was a fail.

Our order was completely wrong, but we ended up getting the correct one with an extra McWrap we hadn't ordered. We told them this McWrap wasn't ours. The employee kept telling us we could keep it and that it was so good. During our meal, a hilarious display occurred: an employee interrupted us and grabbed the McWrap off the table. A truly remarkable experience.

Very dirty inside and super nice

I went there hoping to try a croquette burger that is only available in the Netherlands and can't be found in Japan.

14 balls for a portion of life-expanding American junk. You'd reasonably expect some service, I'd conclude. Nothing could be further from the truth, however: the preparation is incredibly slow for a fast food restaurant, and you're not even allowed to use the restroom. It's admirable that they realized they weren't capable of maintaining sanitary facilities yet still made the minimal effort to make ridiculous amounts of money by deliberately poisoning their guests. Otherwise, it's quite enjoyable.

What a s**t McDo! All orders are just signed off by the staff right away even if they are not yet ready so nobody knows when his order is ready and can be collected. Complete chaos with orders left to become cold. Nobody at the take out desk for 5 minutes with a full restaurant because he needed to prepare a flat white. Also no toilet available in the evening and full bins with food on the floor everywhere.

I couldn't eat there because there was no parking available. Such a shame!

Supposedly certified gluten-free options approved by the Dutch Celiac Disease Association at this McDonald's, but now I'm stuck on the toilet all evening with screaming diarrhea. Thanks, McDonald's!

You guys are really slowing down

I had to wait half an hour for one lemonade and one coffee, while many people who ordered after me received their orders much earlier.

Food is fine. The tables are beyond nasty with leftovers still left on tables, sauce smears and food crumbs laying about. They do deliver the food reasonably fast. I would recommend to do takeaway instead of eating it in the restaurant if you do decide to order at this place.

Too much confusion, not even the entrance was well organised

I liked everything, they salt the potatoes much more than in other countries, be prepared for this! The toilet didn't work in the morning, the ball was closed, this was the only disappointment, that's why I gave it one star lower. They made the order quickly, no delays or rudeness were noticed

The absolute worst. It's totally chaos. Lost orders, food served to the wrong people. No apologies. No professionalism. A disgrace of a place

We waited 30 minutes for our order. We were asked to hurry up three times.

Why is that girl pressing "ready" on all the orders that still need to be prepared?! It's so misleading, thinking it's not too busy, when nothing is ready yet. And no, it's not an accident; she does this often! Pretty crappy.

What a filthy place this is. You can smell the stench of the toilets 20 meters away. Stinking homeless people sleeping on the benches and no one saying anything. The whole restaurant smells like poop, it looks like it is never cleaned. A piece of advice: walk 5 minutes further, there is a McDonalds that is 100x better.

We close at twelve but at half past eleven we close half the restaurant so that everyone starts to fight with each other. I regularly walk past and there is police at the door. They cause the problems themselves. Really the worst and most annoying mac in Rotterdam. Not that anything is ever done with this information. So be it.

It's a very cool little spot. Nice getaway vibeing with friends if living in the area, but food service is really great lots to do inside the area shop, and stop and eat guys
