1 euro to use the bathroom while being a customer should be a crime.

Worst mcdonalds experience ever.. first off all.. We had to wait a century on our food. Just for it to be wrong. And the cheese on my cheeseburger wasnt even melted.. and worst of all, we couldnt even eat it inside because it smells like wet fart in there.. mixed with BO.

Food is great however the staff are lazy and do not have a great attitude at all. The staff move with no urgency, this McDonald's certainly can not call itself a fast food restaurant.

Slow service, literally like the staff are all half asleep. Waited 20 mins for our order, they put it on the counter and didn’t call the number. My boyfriend ended up just taking the tray and getting the food ourselves bc it was getting cold.

Pigeons walk through the place, everything is dirty, and you are not allowed to go to the toilet.

The restroom is paid even for visitors, they don't care about card payments, they didn't bring the order, they mixed up the sauces. The staff is inactive.

Most getto place I’ve ever been. Workers look so miserable like I’m so sorry I understand ( also a McDonald’s warrior) but this place was so bad I had pigeons fighting over my chips. I added a video cuz it was rlly funny icl. Such a fever dream and very dirty wtf 😭😭

Incredibly filthy, trash cans full, and dirty tables. Staff stand there like deflated sacks of salt and chew gum. What I do want to add is that they also simply have way too little staff on the floor during the afternoon rush..

Definitely not recommended! Only 3 staff members for an entire establishment. Tables are dirty, trash cans are overflowing, and then you have to pay €1 to use a filthy toilet. Close the place down.

Very bad experience with this place. I was at the Coolsingel near the metro and scanned the QR code to order food, but after some time it still hadn't arrived. I asked at the cashier where our food was, and she looked at the receipt and said it would be here soon. However, after a certain time it still hadn't arrived, so I asked again, no questions. Then they said I had to go to the Kortebinnenweg. Once I arrived there, I asked for the food, and they took it from the fries station, but everything had gotten cold. My son went back with it, and then they started laughing at him. Then I left myself. They said I ordered it myself and refused to give me new hot food, and started laughing and acting rude again. Then I threw food in the kitchen and all over the place, and the drinks too. For everyone, avoid this place and the one on the Hoogstraat, because it is exactly the same. This is scandalous, very bad service, and they didn't want to give the money back or offer to either. They are a bunch of thieves.

They are lying about the ice cream machine being broken, the food is cold and there is hardly any sauce. Some tables were very dirty and there is no toilet. It took a very long time to get my food and the staff are not very friendly. I have to honestly admit that this is my worst experience with McDonald's. Fix this!!!😡😡

The ice cream machine is broken, but that isn't right since the person before us got an ice cream. And they yelled at us because we asked why those people before us were getting an ice cream. Then we ordered an ice cream via a kiosk and wanted to pick it up, and they dropped it in front of us and told us to get lost. Please fix this, McDonald’s.😡

Small, easy McDonald's. (It's been there for as long as I can remember.) Friendly staff. Was also able to order quickly at the counter. They brought it to you. I go there often. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very dirty, only ordered a McFlurry and had to wait a whole 20 minutes, it wasn't even busy. Even the drive-through is faster than this at my normal McDonald's. I do not recommend this, go to another McDonald's or just to a restaurant. The tables hadn't been cleaned either, and the food tasted bad too. The fries were cold.

The manager refuses to take back her own deposit cup and refers to other branches to do so. The staff is very friendly, but management fails to train employees to perform basic tasks.

I have never seen such a miserably filled cup of Sundae; three bites and it was gone, €1 per bite, scandalous!

Waited a long time for a simple hamburger and cheeseburger. Are small orders prepared later or something? And then paying an extra euro just to pee in a filthy toilet.

I was ordering food and my fiend also at the self service machine while my boyfriend went to take a spot at the table, he took our order and came back to take my friends order and they assumed my boyfriend of taking someone else’s order while he had the recipe my friend ordered. Try to take the recipe while giving the order instead of accusing someone of taking someone else’s order! This is really not fair and kind of racism Big minus

Very very cold , the attitude from manager very rude! I asked her to close the door because it’s cold in restaurant she say she can’t close because BOSS SAY TO KEEP OPEN, and than I ask her to put heat up , and she say I can’t ! Very very rude attitude!!!! I wish I could give lower !

Very poor quality of food/drinks. Not a single decent milkshake, completely tasteless. Plus, everything is as dirty as can be. There is filthy trash on the floor. Too many ice cubes in the soft drinks.

As usual, this is always a McDonald's in the middle of the city; not really many highly educated people behind the counter, unfortunately also many people from Duiven inside; unhygienic; the HACCP here is very poor.

We all accepted endless waiting for a bad burger and filthy shops with pigeons inside for a very long time. But paying 1 euro for a filthy toilet really goes too far. If you have to throw away your own trash somewhere, you should at least be allowed to pee for free.

The requirement to pay for the toilet as a customer is really a big exaggeration and stupidity.

Been there several times and this McDonald's is quite dark. Also, the tables could use wiping down more often. The toilet, does it have to be so expensive for customers? And today the bun was just thrown into the tray.

The restaurant is very dirty, pigeons wander around inside, and the toilets cost money (1 euro) and are not cleaned properly.

They forgot to give me fries and a burger in the set, so I only got a coke. When I called them to ask if someone would deliver it to me, they hung up. I called again and found out that I had been waiting for an hour for nothing, even though the delivery guy told me to wait, saying he was going to pick up my order... 2 hours in total wasted waiting for a cup of coke.

Nice place, tables clean. But next time when cleaning, make sure to check if there aren't people eating next to that table. So don't spray cleaning fluid; it reduces the aftertaste in the hamburger.

You need to tell the lady at the counter if you want to the the toilet and then she lets you through the barrier. We were disappointed that there appeared to be no recycling for packaging. We waited quite a long time for our food, but the lady told us to take a seat and she brought it over to us.

I’ve just visit this McDonalds today! My food was very fast done and also still hot. The staff were communicating with eachother how it’s supposed to be and also they had a nice tone communicating with me!!

Much quieter than other McDonald's (is that a word?). You're greeted with friendly service if you have questions, and the food tastes fresh. As a customer, I waited 10 minutes until someone came and served me. I ordered four cheeseburgers. After another long wait, I received my order. The meat was raw and smelled expired, and fat was dripping from the packaging. When I pointed this out to the employee, she said it was okay and wanted to show me with her meat thermometer. I asked her to please redo it. She only took two of the four cheeseburgers I ordered and replaced them. The same disgusting thing came back. That's not acceptable. I then asked for my money back. She argued with me and said there was no refund. NEVER AGAIN

This place more often than not smells like sewage inside. Best to do takeout or take it as a sign to avoid McDonalds for the day.

This fine establishment has the most immacculate food ever found in such establishments. The food came quite fast too and the servitor was fairly polite. This fine establishment is a very positive surprise considering the trench of a city it is in. The athmosphere tho fits the one of Rotterdam itself. Trench.

I was sitting here quietly eating some fries, and suddenly the manager accused me of feeding the pigeons??? For your information, I didn't do that. Very very rude and very dirty. Better close this place and find another manager who can act normally and doesn't have an attitude problem. Don't think that pigeons are meant to be walking around everywhere. And it is actually a very big hygiene violation.

Update 12-01-2025: This restaurant has become the definition of ghetto and the staff are no longer as attentive as they were when I wrote the previous review. There was a man just USING DRUGS in the restaurant and diagonally across from him young people were sitting at a table trying to space him out completely. Meanwhile, the staff is just standing around and the manager is yawning. What fun. Best service I've ever experienced at a McDonald's. The Fish was out and there were new ones in the fryer. The guy who collected the orders and presented them, politely told me that it would take a little longer because the fish was still being prepared. Then you understand the catering industry and the guest, because the guest must always know that he has been seen. The food was also delicious, but the double cheeseburger had a little too much ketchup on it. But because of that delicious fresh Fish I take that for granted. :)

McDonald's is getting worse every time I get here. Big tasty doesn't exist anymore. Happy meal used to have fun little things... Nothing is nice anymore. The service is still pretty friendly.
