Everything here is so dirty. From the tables and chairs to the toilet. It is a real disgrace.

You order food there. You also have to pay if you want to use the toilet, which is unhygienic.

After driving for 4 hours, I picked up some food from McDonald's with the family, went through the drive-thru, and ate at home. When I got home, 2 portions of fries were missing from the menus, and the Fanta without ice cream was half ice cream. I called and was offered a free medium menu for the future. Nice idea, although it didn't sound like I was the first person to be offered this, but it didn't make my meal complete. I went to the snack bar for my fries instead. It wasn't busy, so this is pure indifference. I think someone needs to keep a tighter eye on the holiday staff. Next time, I will check the order at the McDrive myself. You can explain the extra waiting time for the people behind me then.

Bought a delicious ice cream cone.

It was very hot inside. No air conditioning downstairs. So the only thing we could do was eat as quickly as possible and leave. Incidentally, 3 items were not served again during table service. So one member of the family has to leave the shared mealtime (by then the rest are getting cold); once you are handed the forgotten items, not a word is said to you.

Drive in and happy meals happen.

Reasonable for a quick bite. Staff generally way too young and inexperienced. Of course, you can't expect too much, but sometimes it really stands out and makes you think, "Come on, could they be a bit friendlier?"

Unfortunately, the ice cream machine is broken…

The food is decent. Real fast food. So think about what you eat.

Standard McDonald's mediocre fare. Choice to eat here is more for convenience than enjoyment reasons. The price is high for what they serve, you are better off downloading the Burger King app and going there.

What a disgusting, filthy McDonald's this is in the Netherlands. Time, money, and good spirits – all gone. I have nothing against the young people who work here, but the management is truly shameful.

Every time I go into the Drive-in here, there is something wrong with my order. If you mention it, you get attacked by unfriendly, rude people as if we are getting the food for free. How do they manage this every time?? What is the reason for that? The food is expensive! And then you just expect what you order. If I order a large portion of fries without salt, I expect a large portion of fries without salt, not that a large portion is only half-filled or just salted. I don't understand why the employees don't get that... I'm paying for it, so surely it should be a large portion of fries and not half a medium size. Why is this? There is no passion or friendliness to execute orders and FOOD (because that is what it is about) properly. At all other McDonald's, there are friendly people working who know what they are doing. Here it seems as if people are not well-trained and are working in a downright rude and uninterested manner: I have to earn money, but I don't feel like doing my best or being nice, even when it comes to food and hygiene. A call to boycott this McDonald's.

It is ridiculous that you pay 4.95 for a double cheeseburger. I don't go to McDonald's often these days, but I remember that a few years ago you paid 3.50/3.95 at some McDonald's locations. I wouldn't readily recommend people get something here either, purely because if you go through the drive-thru, you see zero prices. Surely you have a right to that as a consumer?

I was at the restaurant yesterday (June 26). 5 ordering kiosks weren't working, the tables inside hadn't been cleaned, and I had to wait a very long time for an ice cream. The worst part is that it was terribly hot inside. I felt unwell from the heat and fled outside. It is scandalous that there is no air conditioning there. Imagine having to work there in 34 degrees. What would the labor inspectorate think of this?

Having breakfast at this McDonald's is excellent! The coffee is sublime. Plenty of parking.

The kids really wanted to play for a bit, but that's only possible upstairs, and that's locked when it's quiet.

Everything was fine. The food was great, as always. Just forgot the straws. That can happen.

Takeaway from outside takes too long

It gets worse here every time. The food is cold and the staff is only friendly if you're friends. Having a nice chat with your boyfriend by the DT window. And with me, they just barely didn't throw it out the window without any emotion or smile. Truly unprecedentedly bad service. How can the food be so cold when you have to wait so long? And not giving out napkins in the DT.

Always check your order very carefully to ensure it is warm, fresh, and complete!!! Orders have been incorrect multiple times!

Since the renovation, this McDonald's is very nice, the service has also improved, and the food is hot.

Never order online! With thuisbezorgd or uber eats there is always something missing

The McDonald’s on Kelvinstraat was very disappointing. Despite it being quiet in terms of customers, the service clearly left much to be desired. The staff withheld the numbered order cards at the kiosk, meaning customers had to wait at the counter instead of having their order brought to them properly. This happened even though we specifically asked for it, as it is much more practical with small children. Additionally, it was noticeable that the QR codes on the tables have been removed after the renovation. As a result, it is no longer possible to order at the table, which is normally a convenient service, but this also aligns sharply with the lazy policy of this McDonald’s. All in all, a bad experience and certainly below par compared to other McDonald’s locations.

The quality of the food fluctuates, sometimes good and sometimes bad, but never truly good. Yesterday (4-4-26) was very bad. Fries were undercooked in old oil, dark brown, and soggy. Hamburgers were lukewarm and no napkins were provided. The nuts for the sundae were out of stock, the table was dirty (nothing new for McDonald's); we clean it ourselves these days. A bad manager who doesn't see it or doesn't want to do anything about it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is depressing and gloomy; I certainly won't be going there again. Paid 40 euros for 2 people and still wasn't paid. Some people say: the customer is king... those days are long gone! You should be glad you're allowed to buy it. Nobody cares anymore because it gets sold anyway.

Shrinkage has also struck at McDonalds. A 4 euro McFlurry is used so little at this and the other restaurants in the area that the cup is not even half full.

Had to wait just half an hour. They listen, but they don't scan everything, so you don't get your whole order. This is already the 3rd time, and then they tell us it wasn't scanned. I call that bad service!!!!!

March 22, 2026. Ordered a small Coke, a chicken mac and chicken, and an Oreo McFlurry. Had to wait 25 minutes even though it wasn't busy inside. The McFlurry had very little chocolate sauce; I politely asked management for a bit more chocolate sauce, but that was refused. I mean, come on man! Is McDonald's going to go bankrupt or ruined over a tiny bit of extra chocolate sauce????????????

Nice place, but always check your order when picking it up. They sometimes forget something.

Unfortunately, the renovation has taken all the atmosphere out of the McDonald's. Unfortunately, I also had an undercooked hamburger. It's a shame, it used to be a really great McDonald's.

I received good service and the food was nice and hot.

I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd, but one menu was missing. Apparently, even simple counting is too much for them, which explains a lot. 😅😅

Ordered a milkshake but it was gone, the Big Mac was cold, and it took a very long time.

We came to eat and they kicked us and other people out, they said they don't accept orders, even though it says they're open until 2 am

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for our order! There was hardly anyone in McDonald's 😵 The atmosphere was very dull.

Had dinner on December 5th. Saw the new decor for the first time, less attractive than before, with a chilly feel. Many more payment terminals made the restaurant feel less inviting. We spent €55 for three people, way too expensive for nothing special. It was quiet, so I think there was plenty of time for proper preparation. But the chicken nuggets were old, the fries weren't warm enough, and the Spa forgot to be delivered. We sent the food back, and the staff commented that we'd let the fries get cold. We only sat there for 10 seconds, which was very rude. I notice this often here, also in the McDonald's drive-through. The customer is definitely not king here. Apparently, tableside delivery isn't an option for this price. In short, disappointing.

I had to wait in line for a long time because my deal had expired, but they didn't make a fuss about it at all, which was really nice. The staff were very friendly, so the wait wasn't too bad!

Quick bite before heading home. Ordered from the kiosk, fast service. Many tables were dirty. Trash on the floor and next to the trash cans. Restrooms weren't clean. No way to properly dry your hands.

Big Mac action and Big Mac on. Then put a sign at the beginning of the MC drive. Waste of time and gas.

They have two McDrive stations, but when you're at one station, other people at the other station are only helped. When you continue to the checkout, you're then asked to go around another circle.

First visit since the renovation. Looks tidy, but no longer has that Mac atmosphere. It's now one open space. What was really annoying was the loud hum/vibration from the ventilation system. It sounded like there was an airplane on the floor above. Perhaps it's less noticeable when the place is full. Young staff constantly makes rounds but doesn't clean properly. Are they even supervised? This resulted in a lot of dirty tables, even though there were fewer than 20 guests inside. The food was meh. Order was complete. Reasonably fresh fries and nuggets, but a stale bun with a Big Mac. All in all, it was a bit disappointing. Next time, we'll go back to our regular location (Prisma).

It's a nicely designed and pleasant place. The only downside is that when I arrived, the tables were a bit dirty. 😔

The restaurant is open later than before. The Mac drive-thru is always reasonably fast. The staff is also friendly.

Never, ever order again. Either things are missing, or you wait two hours for your order and then cancel it out of frustration. Terrible. Go to the counter and there are even more people complaining. So don't do it.

there is always somthing to complain if you only take the time to search for it, but than your food gets cold. so instead of looking for something wrong we just tried to enjoye our burgers and fries, but it was filthy all arouns us thank you Mc. donnald

Old fries (half a container) and old chicken nuggets. Better go for that other Mac. This is too sad for words. Waste of money.

Can someone tell me how a double cheeseburger (4.25) can be more expensive than 2 cheeseburgers (3.90)? It's pure fraud. I made only 1 of 2 sandwiches and threw the bread away. A bit of a waste. And not sustainable.

You eat at McDonald's on the go. You sit down in the restaurant with your children and order. It's amazing that you order and eat it inside while the food is still ice cold....??? It's a shame, too, that we had to walk back and forth a few times because while we were handing out the food, we were missing a roll and sauce, etc. Not very polite.

A pleasant location where you can order until late at night, which is great if you're a Skaffa. Less pleasant is that they support Israel.

This Mac Donalds always has problems with items being sold out… which you can only see when you are already in the drive-in. Please fix your stock or make it clear before entering the drive in..

What fantastic service on a beautiful cart. Never had such good service. I definitely give it 5 stars. I'll definitely be going here again.

Google mals says it's open until 3Am. Got threre and they were closed way before closing time got there for Nothing. There was a Group of Mids in front of the restaurant harassing people. Wouldn't recommend going at night. Food is everything you expect from a McDonalds.

We've rarely seen the outdoor area, parking lot, etc., clean. There's no litter to be seen, which is often filthy at other locations. Kudos to the staff.

I think McDonald's is getting very expensive. The grease is also leaking out of the sandwiches.

As with every Mac, you can stop quietly with the dogs and have a drink on the terrace. Something went wrong with the order and that was solved quickly! Top.

Outrageous prices these days. Fish processing, small fries, small cola and small shake. That's 19 euros. WHAT!!!!. and the shake wasn't cold but lukewarm. The app also indicated that there were no deals for me today. This was the last time for now.

Here they mainly sleep a lot instead of working. Been there 4 times, 4 times something or they forget half or you arrive at 8 o'clock while they open at 7 o'clock and then you have to wait for 20 minutes because the kitchen was not on yet.

Usually not too busy. The drive goes pretty fast. Open until 02:00. The food is as you are used to from McDonalds, often fresh and good. Enough parking space.

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this McDonald’s location (Kelvinstraat 1, Zoetermeer). Both the staff and the manager showed an unprofessional, unfriendly and downright disrespectful attitude. During my visit to the McDrive, part of my order was forgotten (the nuts with my sundae ice cream). When I tried to indicate this by honking and waving, I was completely ignored. After several attempts, an employee finally came to the window and rudely shouted: “WHAT IS IT!!?” – absolutely no way to communicate with customers. When I pointed out that she could have asked normally and politely what she could help me with, to my surprise a manager came over… and said: “Only whores have customers.” That is not only shocking and unprofessional, but also extremely insulting. I don't feel taken seriously at all as a customer and I honestly wonder how this kind of behavior is tolerated in such a large company as McDonald's. This is an experience I will not soon forget - and certainly not a location I will ever return to.

The people who take your order at the mc drive. I don't know if they listen or just guess what you want to order. Or when you are paying you often get the wrong order pressed into your hands. It is not the first time. I also wrote to mc Donald Netherlands but that doesn't make you any wiser either. You are fobbed off with an email and then it is ready for them. No message that we are processing it or that people have been addressed by higher up. Very unfortunate. In this way it is not really possible to live quality. So many mistakes and not listening properly to a customer. Or talking over it while you are ordering whether there should be coke and fries sauce. I keep quiet about this until they ask if I am still there and start all over again with the order. Very unfortunate. I will not come here anymore.

Ice cream for the dog, milkshake for us

So far we have not received a complete order once, something goes wrong every time. My Mother's Day breakfast was a total failure, very disappointing. When you pay €35 for a McDonalds breakfast you expect it to be done well. As a solution we were allowed to come and pick up what was not good again, we eventually did this and I thought it was nice but not a suitable solution at all. If your team of incompetent employees gets an order wrong for the umpteenth time in a row, I expect you to solve the problem completely. I think asking the customer to drive back and forth again and come back is a bit strange. Hence the bad review and the 1 star.

I got lukewarm chicken nugguts at the Mac drive.. When I complained about it she agreed with me and gave freshly baked ones. Therefore 4* for the service

It's really dirty. Not normal. The floor sticks to your feet. Shame. It wasn't like that before.

I have been to this McDonald's branch in Zoetermeer several times. So far I have always received my order complete. Chairs, tables and the floor are clean. You can still see something lying on a single table. Service is friendly. The fries and burgers are of good quality. Nothing wrong with that. The food is brought to your table quickly. The reusable cups are clean. Only the toilets require a little more attention. Despite the latter, you can feel free to come back here.

Taste does not live up to the price

Went upstairs to sit. All tables were dirty and the floor was covered with chips and spilled drinks. After asking someone to clean the table we got the food lukewarm. Had a happy meal.mey filet-o-fish with ketchup on it. Apparently it's normal for a happy meal; fish with ketchup?! All in all not the best experience, snack bar around the corner will be the more logical choice next time

30 min bij mcdrive gewacht voor ontbijtje (Kelvinstraat Zoetermeer), wegens issues in de keuken. Kreeg vervolgens een verbrand broodje. Waren de karamel m’n Latte vergeten en hadden het fatsoen niet excuses aan te bieden voor de vertraging. Dit was 1 week nadat ze onze drankjes waren vergeten af te leveren bij een thuis bestelling.

Waited 30 minutes at McDrive for breakfast (Kelvinstraat Zoetermeer), due to issues in the kitchen. Then got a burnt sandwich. Forgot the caramel in my latte and didn't have the decency to apologize for the delay. This was 1 week after they forgot to deliver our drinks with a home order.
