Every Sunday we have a blast🥳🥳when we go get a Happy Meal. The atmosphere is always great.

are open until 1 am...but at 5 to 1 the door is already locked and you are not allowed in anymore

You would imagine that it would not be possible, but they managed to make it taste like cardboard even more than before. Nuggets are now “spicy” though.

Worst service ever, the manager with the arm tattoo is the most arrogant person I have ever had the unpleased opportunity to receive a food from, never going back there again and I would like to know from mc Donald’s a proper channel to relate it properly. Then I may think to change it… on waiting mode…

My children wanted to buy a kids' meal but didn't get the Tiny Tan toy. When I asked the employee, he said it wasn't available. My children were upset, while others did get it. The name of the toy was on the receipt.

Charging 0.50€ for toilet even if I bought food is illegal. There is a guy sitting and collecting the coins.

I had to wait half an hour for an order. After 30 minutes of not having received my order, I went to the counter to see where it was. I finally got it after 38 minutes, after the cashier asked if I was sure I hadn't received it yet. Now I come home and everything is missing. And I received half a drink. I'm never going back!

I waited 38 minutes for my food, which had already been ready, and when I got home, everything was missing. I pointed out that I'd been waiting so long, and they acted like it was my fault. "If you take a bite of your burger and it's cold, you'll get a new one," the manager said after explaining that my order was supposed to be taken 10 times earlier.

Food was terrible, nuggets overcooked , burger dry, everything was really poor

Wow, what a disappointment... Man, oh man. You have to use your elbows to get your food! Then, when you do get it, everything is overcooled and, well, practically inedible. Never again, ever again! I mean, I saw my burgers waiting, but the pretty girls don't understand the system, and the ones further away are being served, but my burgers are just rotting. Never again, ever again... I should have asked for my money back instead of bringing this on myself. And I paid top dollar, but I ate cold, tough junk.

Poor service, orders placed via the terminal were only processed upon request. Accordingly, the food was "thrown" into the bag without much care.

Slightly worse than what you’d expect. Not the cleanest location. Missing order items at an unreasonable frequency. Service is not very friendly, I’ve specifically heard off comments regarding customers on multiple occassions. There’s people outside the door constantly harassing / begging for money, and the restaurant doesn’t seem to care. I would avoid this location at all costs.

I was served a wrap that was really pathetic, super long service for a fast food restaurant, I ordered to eat in and I was served takeaway and what's more they made a mistake twice on the order

I waited 18 minutes for 4 drinks. The manager, a fat man with a gray beard, was rude to customers and even threw money at a customer who wanted a refund.

We just ordered a coffee with statiegeld beker. We got a takeout cup. We had to get back multiple times to get our statiegeld euro returned. First We got the excuses that there where no statiegeld cups. Ok fine. Then we want our euro back. Then they threw the coffee over in a statiegeld cup. Then after We drank it they did not want to give back out statiegeld euro until We made a scene about it. Bad for the environment but also bad for your wallet.!

The food is good but the toilets were often broken or damaged

I have been to this McDonald’s multiple times and always have issues. This visit we did not receive one of our items, the McFlurry was made first and then sat on the counter for 10 minutes so it was completely melted by the time we received it. The staff was also extremely disorganized and were often seen just standing around. Very disappointed

Ordered at 9.23 pm via thuisgeleverd.nl Every 15 minutes they moved up the delivery time. We could not call them cause there was an automatic tape on their phone. we didn’t know if it was just too busy and they would still deliver or not so we did not order anything else to eat. Eventually they cancelled the deliver my at 00:45 am!!! What a shitty thing to do. Just cancel it right away if you are not going to deliver.

For starters, best espresso in town! 🙏🏻 Surprising, right? 🍔🍔🍔☕☕☕ But as everyone knows, espressos can cause "morning movements", and I'm not willing to risk having an "accident" at McDonald's because the toilets turn out not to be available... 😂 I've previously made a suggestion for how to resolve this. (Have a self-employed toilet attendant take care of it, and make toilet access payable to that attendant. But maybe they've tried this in the past and found that it didn't work. I suspect that this is the first McDonald's of the McBlaauw chain as the offices, I think, are at this address. If so, it may be easier to experiment a little here as this may still be the main Director's store or easy to keep an eye on experiments.) I've had small businesses and my late dad and my two siblings had small businesses too - all until very recently - and I've also worked in tourism & hospitality in Amsterdam (albeit a long time ago) so I can certainly see their side of the situation. 🙃😊😎 I've often felt sorry for them (and said so to them) because of the mess some of the customers left behind. (I've seen it. I've also seen it one time when they didn't want us customers to go down into the basement. So I see their dilemma. They chose what works best for them and takes the least effort. It is not the most customer-friendly solution for all customers, but it is for the lucky ones.) --- Reviewer Arnold Lubdel (no idea who he is and I only just spotted his contribution) didn't quote from Chapters 2, 3 and 4 of my review, but I like that he's kept Chapter 1 because I liked that one best. I have no idea what Arnold's March 22 edit is about. Others: This McDonald's is a bit like the weather in terms of customer service, yes, but most folks here are essential normal nice people whereas a few others may have their own challenges at home or elsewhere, about which we customers know nothing. Shall we simply say that this McDonald's has character?

You already dont expect much when you go to a Macdonalds but this one is a whole new level of bad overall service and quality.

Well, what can I say, it's a McDonalds. It's certainly not always clean and the staff isn't necessarily friendly, but that's not what you'd expect from this chain. It is a lot quieter than other locations, though, which is why I'd rather cycle a bit further for this one! Edited: I got the wrong order, shitty place. Reading 2 numbers is also VERY DIFFICULT. Just go to Kalverstraat or Leidscheplein, even with 50 people they don't make mistakes there.

I regularly visit this McDonald's and had heard that the Pokémon cards were available again. That's why I ordered a menu with a toy on May 16, but got a booklet instead of the cards. When I asked if I could exchange this, I was helped by a somewhat older employee with a cap. He seemed irritated, quickly looked in two boxes and said that the Pokémon cards were gone. I thought that was strange, because the promotion had only just started. A little later I saw a little girl with the cards, so I decided to try again with another colleague. Fortunately, this employee was friendly and gave me the right cards without any problem. I found the attitude of the first employee really unfriendly. It felt like he didn't want to make an effort to help me. Too bad, because such a small effort can make a big difference in the service experience.

So rude and didn’t even get my money back

It is often busy in the afternoon. The last time I ordered from this McDonalds, I discovered at home (outside Amsterdam) that I had received the wrong burger. The burger I ordered was about 3 euros more expensive. Very disappointing.

I was very curious about the cheese bitterballen. It was quite disappointing that they were so small and cold. I had the coffee in a plastic cup that you have to pay for and then set aside.

Food has just been delivered, it took a really long time longer than 1 hour and the times were constantly adjusted, then the food arrived, cola is leaking, the bag is torn, Fristi had black things in it, Missing 2 portions of fries, 1 portion of nuggets, 1 mcflurrie with M&Ms and BBQ sauce very bad, the worst part is that no one is available to report this.

Always dirty and greasy soil. Lots of junk everywhere and a long wait for your food while there are hardly any orders. The rest seems to be put to good use by the employees.

I ordered a Happy Meal with Minecraft toys. When I received my order, I saw that there were no toys. When I asked the manager about it, he said that there were no toys available. When I asked what I should do since I had paid for the toy, he said that the toy is given for free. So if you want a toy for free, just visit McDonald’s

At the top the staff is not very smiling

We had just ordered our food, and I went downstairs to use the bathroom. I’m six months pregnant, and to my surprise, there was only one bathroom shared by both men and women. While waiting, a man who came after me was allowed to go first, even though I was clearly next and visibly pregnant. When it was finally my turn, the staff member at the bathroom stopped me and asked for 0.50€. I politely asked if I could pay by card, and she told me I had to go upstairs to pay first. As this conversation was happening, the manager walked by and without the slightest concern reiterated that I needed to go upstairs, pay 0.50€ (as if for an ice cream), and then I could use the toilet. Both pointed to the sign saying it’s only for paying customers. What was shocking wasn’t the policy but the complete lack of empathy and basic respect. I was not only a paying customer but also pregnant, and they couldn’t show the decency to let me use the toilet first and pay after. On top of that, the restaurant has no elevator, so I was basically told to go up and down the stairs twice just to use the restroom. This experience left me feeling humiliated and ignored. A little understanding would have gone a long way. Very disappointing and not a place I’d recommend to anyone especially not to those who might need a little extra consideration.

There was a problem caused by Thuisbezorgd, but the manager spoke to me politely and solved everything very professionally. That's how it should be!

The first time I assumed they would be open at 7, they opened at 7:15. The second time, on a Sunday, they were still not open at 7:30. Staff shortage? Went late at night, no bathroom, forgot half our food, and food took a long time to come out. When we did get our food the fries were cold and did not taste fresh. They forgot a whole happy meal and when I brought them my receipt they were very confused. Other than that my nuggets and mccroquette were good and was fine in a pinch.

Burger was missing, drink was missing and one was wrong. Not recommended.

Worst place to enjoy your food or beverage. They employ unqualified and rude staff and the order delivery usually is short of items paid for. One ahould avoid this chain at all. There are better alternatives.

When we wanted to place an order, the cashier was very disrespectful. Two people went to the cash register to order and the cashier immediately started shouting at us. While ordering, he just asked us if we wanted sauce. When the order came, they brought us MEAT. I don't understand how they can make us eat non-HALAL meat. BE CAREFUL, DON'T GO.

By far one of the worst McDonalds restaurants in Amsterdam. Most often, arriving home after take out, the food is cold or expired. Also, don't order here through Uber Eats or Takeaway (Thuisbezorgd), because your food will be soggy and cold when it arrives.

Ordered a double quarter pounder meal but only received the fries and drink. Tried to call multiple times but they never picked up, the ai bot kept saying the were "busy"

Amsterdam is a country free from superstition, but. The toilet in the facility is not separated by gender. There are two cubicles in the toilet, a urinal in the hall. I was a little uncomfortable.

Received a completely soaked menu. Too gross. Calling to resolve this is currently not possible, even though they are open. So unreachable by telephone.

Meals were fresh and warm. Personnel were very friendly and nice. Generally restaurant was clean if you compare with our McD restaurants. I would prefer to everyone! 👍🏻 Grüße an alle Besucher aus Deutschland! 😊

Classic Mc Donald's, you get what you expect. This one is particularly small with límited seats when it gets busy.

Takes hours to get your food. They wont even start preparing till after an hour of ordering, I don’t think the Mcdonalds would be so busy that you cant make a three items order at 8 pm

Really not normal, just opened again. A big gang of pigs inside. The staff barely speaks Dutch. I asked for a garbage bag because all the dirt was bulging out of the bin and on the tables I didn't get, according to the staff. I won't be back, these staff don't deserve such a nice place.

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever encountered hands down. Every time I go, the manager clears things off the display when they aren’t ready (obviously trying to skew their metrics / KPIs). Food is almost always stale/ cold, and apparently fast is forgotten from fast food. I just watched my burger sit in the warming tray for 10 minutes (1 item order). Update: Not sure why they bothered to renovate this store. The management and service is just as bad as ever, and they still cheat the order ready system to make their numbers look good (ie putting up orders and clearing them long before they’re actually prepared). Speed and efficiency are clearly things they don’t care for.

After waiting almost an hour in a crammed full store, with no receipts, everyone pushing and shouting, and arrogant staff standing behind the counter, we FINALLY got our food. But when we looked in the bag later it was a COMPLETELY different order but with our number on it. We ordered a Mc-crispy menu, 1 big mac, 1 hamburger menu and we got 2 filet-o-fish, 2 big macs, and a spicy chicken. Everything was cold.

Ps. When I see all the recent reviews, the manager and the staff need a few good blows. Imagine. Working with food and not having to worry about the service of your food. Ordered McDonalds after years. Fries as limp as hell. As if it had been put in for a minute and taken out again. Coke, no sting at all. You can call it black lemonade. Burger was okay. Can clean up what kind of street people work there. Sad establishment. Thought this kind of practice only happened in America. The hell for your service.

Toilets downstairs and seats downstairs, not very convenient but understandable given the limited surface area.

The staff behind the counter is friendly and takes plenty of time for each customer. Toilets are 50 cents well that's not worth it it's dirty and it stinks of urine. There is also a urinal open when you enter, which is very strange, so there are no separate toilets for men and women.

Literally got 2 breads send to my home no patties on it. Shameless.

Giving food to another customer, then I get food from a random customer "oh I have your order, I indicate that I want a new one, then they hold it back for 5 minutes and then give the same order back, the worst McDonalds in the Netherlands it's here people
