You sit down to eat, you want to go to the bathroom, but they make you pay €1, which isn't much, but if you're eating there it should be free 🤡

Terrible. You're a customer, you've eaten there, and you have to pay a euro to use the bathroom. It's insane. And on top of that, they treat you terribly. They yell at you. The woman in the bathroom was rude. The man behind the counter was rude. It's like they're doing you a favor. The whole thing was unpleasant. Disgusting.

I was here 2 times, -Once i tried for a breakfast, but i could not order things i normally do, not because they are not available in this country, but because the worker said it was "impossible" to put bacon on a sausage McMuffin (would not charge fee, just said impossible to add it).And i was disappointed with the breakfast meal in general, except the orange juice. -Another time i came just for a hot chocolate -I worked at mcdonalds in Canada, and was a shift supervisor, and i did not really like this mcdonalds.

On November 13th, I ate three cheeseburgers at your place with friends for a quick bite. I've had stomach cramps since Friday morning!!! It's now May 17th, and I'm still having problems!!! I often eat at your Hilversum branch, and I never have any problems there. You need to pay more attention to your hygiene because this is simply unacceptable. I think I'll call the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) about this. I'll never come here again.

Paying for food and then paying even more to use the restroom. Ridiculous!

They say they give us trays after a certain time, but they didn't specify that when we selected from the display. Even though we said we would eat there, they gave us takeaways.

What a sad affair this place is. Impersonal, no service at all, ugly place. I ordered a McFlurry from the vending machine, and after waiting 10 minutes, I finally asked where it was. Then, without a word, I was given the ice cream (without sauce, no less). Close this place down!

Saturday 25 October 21:10. I was eating upstairs at this McDonald’s when I saw a mouse crawling under the seats where I was sitting and as I was eating. A very unpleasant experience. I immediately informed the manager, who was understanding and explained that an exterminator comes in daily. She told me the issue happens because the restaurant is open to the street. Still, this was on the first floor, which makes it even more concerning. What if there are mice in the kitchen as well ? I understand Amsterdam is a big city and it can happen but I hope stronger measures are taken to prevent this from happening again. However, I will not be coming back and will be forwarding this to McDonald’s head office.

I ordered milk but didn't get it with my order and I didn't like that very much.

Online it says it’s open outside of the building it says it’s open, however it was not open and then we got send out in a very rude way

The storefront is very pretty, quite different from other countries I've visited. But in general, it's like all the others. And of course, that's to be expected. But everything went smoothly! We used the bathroom more than we ate, too... Oh, and you pay €1 to use it!

After a major renovation, this McDonald's is much more spacious and pleasant. The seating has been significantly improved, everything has been done well, and you can now order food even faster! The two entrances and exits remain convenient, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive! The restrooms are (almost) always clean, and my tip remains to sit upstairs for the best view! This is a great place to stop before heading into the city center!

Normal McDonald's... But you have to pay for the bathroom!! Even if you eat. Absurd for us Italians! The bathroom is a right of those who eat in the restaurant. In Italy, a restaurant must have a free bathroom by law for its customers.

No chargers! Toilets are paid, they don't provide napkins. Sauce in a bag....

Just had very unpleasant Experiance. We ordered mc flurry Oreo icecreame and it has hair inside. We didn’t even mix ice cream and headed over counter to complain and surprisingly instead of listening to us, the manager and representative start talking by putting false allegations that it’s you’rs hair. Extremely unexpected behaviour in heart of Amsterdam city from int. food chain like McDonald’s employees.

Clean, well-located, three-story establishment with self-service machines for ordering in three languages. Affordable and convenient. Soft background music.

It's great and fast, but it's a bit of a mess. It's probably because so many people come in, because it's a really big McDonald's.

It's standard McDonald's, but unfortunately you have to pay for the bathroom. Plus, if you take your drinks outside, they charge you €1 for a plastic cup. And thank goodness plastic was eliminated.

A disappointing McDonald's experience. Nothing to say about the menus; they're the same throughout the country. But as for the service... First, no table service, then no hello or have a nice day when picking up the order. Worse still, not even a glance: like, "take your tray and move over" (even though there was no one behind us...). The tables aren't clean at 11:30 a.m.... I can't imagine at 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. after the lunch rush... Then a 20-pack of nuggets with 19 nuggets inside... a complaint in English at the cash register, but apparently no English speakers on duty that day (believe it, don't you?). No power outlets or USB ports to charge phones. Pay toilets at €0.70 for all customers and non-customers. If at least the payment were used to clean the restrooms, that would be nice, but apparently it's mainly used to pay for their phone bill (and given the phone's volume, you'll be able to enjoy the conversation...). In short, what could be the strong points of this type of restaurant in a busy place like Amsterdam is rendered null and void here (USB charging, restrooms, priority table service). And since we don't come here for the food, there's really no reason to stop by!

There are restrooms inside the bar available to the public for 70 cents. It's a good option if you're nearby and don't know where to go or don't want to sit down and drink to access the restroom.

Disappointing service experience. The person handing out the food doesn’t even try to hide how much they dislike their job. Tossing parts of the order onto the tray and messing up every second order gives that impression very clearly. Also – a paid restroom for customers? Please switch to the modern solution with a code on the receipt. The food itself was fine – as expected

After traveling to so many European countries, this is the first time I have encountered a situation where I have to pay for using the toilet after making a purchase in a store.

Terrible service, even if you eat there they want to charge you for using the bathroom! A disgrace.

Rude manager they open when the restaurant is closed in the night and no servers then sign on your bill and tell you to come back then lie about it the next day and not give you the food , so basically they are stealing peoples money.

They make you pay for absolutely EVERYTHING!!!! You have to pay for Ketchup, but it's even worse when you go up two floors to go to the bathroom and there is a turnstile where you have to pay to go through, it doesn't matter if you have the ticket.

They work without gloves or hats. From the hall itself you can watch how the guy takes the salad, puts the unfinished and ready-made cutlets on a bun, and wraps everything in paper, scratched his head with the same unwashed hands and proceeded to order a light meal

The dirtiest McDonald's in Amsterdam. The trash cans were full and the trays were overflowing. Also my disabled companion didn't pay for any of the other toilets in the other mc do's while here he had to pay because the staff didn't pay attention to the people who showed up.

I saw bad comments, but my experience was quite good, very delicious food, the only bad thing is the lack of variety, they have few burger options but they are good, the place is clean and warm

The great thing about McDonald's doesn't matter where you visit it is the same variety of food and similar prices to home.. Visiting from the UK it's just a simple option.. The restaurant was clean and ample seating.. Staff friendly and efficient... Only annoying thing for us both even though we used its restaurant and obtained food.. The lady still insists on you paying €0.70..to use the toilet.. Not sure if this is standard in Amsterdam but I have never had to pay in any other McDonald's I have visited in either the UK or USA or Germany and France..

So it wasn't just that there was a lot of rubbish there. Even a citizen was embezzled!!! When asked where it was. At first you acted as if they didn't understand anything except Dutch....then when I threatened with consistency, they shrugged their shoulders and told me I had eaten it (I was still standing in front of the pick-up counter and the food was still on the counter.....bad move!!! Food was lukewarm and sticky, if you leave €60 and get service like that... that's not possible!!! I definitely won't eat there again and wouldn't recommend anyone to visit there.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite ok. But when my friend and I went to the toilet, we found out that €0.70 was a break in the toilet... ok, come on, we're used to that kind of thing... but the behavior of the employee in that department is something terrible. Proud, arrogant and insolent. After I went out to wait for my friend, she pounced on me to go out, because I'm making a fuss. (There was no one there) To which I politely and civilly replied that she had better go check the toilet paper and soap because I paid €0.70, I didn't have anything to wash my hands with or wipe myself with, not to mention where...
