Having to wait 15 minutes for a few ice creams and coffee, not okay 😕

Good espresso at McCafé. Tasty ice cream, but it is getting very expensive. 3.75 for a McFlurrie ice cream. The speed of delivery is fine.

I placed a delicious order, but everything went wrong. I ordered a delicious burger but received the completely wrong one. Additionally, I ordered a banana milkshake, but when I took a sip, it turned out to be vanilla. To finish off, I wanted a delicious McFlurry, but it was more like a soft serve ice cream with some sprinkles. I do not recommend this McDonald’s, and I would rather drive a little further.

Well. Probably all the staff were having a bad day. Faces like thunder. No friendly (or normal) "please." No eye contact. Food wasn't like usual. Less stuffed burgers... cutbacks on lettuce, onions, and pickles??? View of parking lots. Well....this isn't worthy of McDonald's.

Just how a McDonald's is. Busy, lots of people lagging behind and speaking English more and more often, always too much sauce and milkshakes chewy and tasteless because too much ice is put in them.. Oh well, I'll keep coming back anyway..they have tasty things too whaha

It just wasn't quite right, and small bits pile up. -staff who don't speak Dutch -receipt machine broken -hamburger bun upside down -burger flattened I expected better from the McDonald's name.

The Pop Dot was completely green and rotten/moldy inside. When we walked forward to report it, I was asked if I wanted another one. Luckily, I said no, because after that they were able to throw away the rest (which is actually a good thing). Otherwise, I didn't get anything as compensation. Edit: Tried again in August 2026, this time the drive-thru... At the pole on the left, they let 4 or 5 cars through, then one on the right, then another 4 or 5 on the left, another one on the right, so if you go through the drive-thru, take the left. By the way, it takes so long that it is faster to drive to Nijkerk.

Had to wait half an hour in the drive-thru for our order, which was wrong 4 times during that time. And then they asked us if we hadn't remembered it wrong..... eventually drove away with the wrong order still. 0 stars

Generally not a bad Donald (in our experience). Consistent, with occasional highlights on both sides. Today was very positive. Food as fresh as possible, a smooth drive-through, and positive service from the gentlemen at the window. Top notch.

These days, I actually only go to McDonald’s for the coffee ☕. I was quite pleased with this branch in that regard: the restroom was clean 🧼🚻 and the location is easily accessible 🚗. It was amazing how busy it was here, though. 😳 Many people probably don't stop to think about the kind of highly processed food they are consuming. As soon as you walk in, you can smell that typical odor of fried and heavily processed food. 🤢 In any case, I’m glad I’m just here for a coffee and not joining the queue for the rest. 😂☕

Just regular McDonald's. Mediocre food. Expensive. Cars take precedence over customers inside the shop.

We ate here on Sunday, and I have to say, "WOW!" We wish we had a McDonald's like this in Germany. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, the staff attentive and very helpful. There's an elevator for people with disabilities. The restrooms were very clean and well-kept. The food was hot and fresh, and you'd happily sit anywhere because this branch really stands out from the crowd.

It is clear there is a staff shortage. It took forever for the order to arrive, and by then it was quite cold as well. Shame.

Apologies, but there is so much junk in the food here, it is truly unprecedented. I know that fast food doesn't fit into a healthy diet anyway, but I am amazed that this is still legal with all those additives. I really don't want to nitpick, but it is what it is. That is why I never go there on my own initiative.

The food is very bland, even by McDonald's standards. The order was delivered incorrectly and the food was not warm. The staff do their best, but they are actually understaffed, causing them to be stressed and occasionally react rudely. The atmosphere is the same at all McDonald's branches. If you are sitting upstairs, you cannot just take the elevator back down because they keep turning it off.

Fries cold, hamburger cold, uninterested staff, the order was remade with the greatest reluctance.

We arrived late Thursday evening and it took quite a while before we were allowed to order, but the toppings were good and the food was fried. So it was worth the wait. Better than I was used to from McDonald's.

Ah, McDonald's... Like all the others, a string of disappointments. Of course, the order was completely wrong; it was eventually resolved properly, mind you, but I find it intriguing how you can't hire people chain-wide who can't even read a list correctly. And once you finally have everything, the fries are lukewarm, there is so much lettuce on your burger that even the rabbits skip a round, there is so much ice in your drink that the local sailors are on high alert, and those trendy temporary empanadas are fried or baked a good fifteen minutes too short. What a misery, but I can only blame myself for going here.

The order was incomplete. Otherwise, it was okay.

Monday evening, 7 o'clock. McDrive wait: at least 20 minutes, but only one of the two counters was open. Inside for takeout: 15 minutes wait. Either there is a staff shortage, or you just have to be patient because everything is prepared with extra love. Or we were just unlucky. Although we received the wrong order, what we received was more expensive in total than what we paid for. A stroke of luck. Based on this experience, I won't be going back here anytime soon.

I politely asked to exchange one of my four ketchup packets for one of mayonnaise, and she told me the mayonnaise was more expensive. And she was rude about it... I didn't know that, so I checked the order board. They cost exactly the same, so I went to inform her... I won't be back, not even as a joke.

Poorly organized. We ordered coffee and had to wait 15 minutes for it. Then it was taken to another counter but not announced over the loudspeaker. It is a good thing we were observant ourselves and asked. After that, the employee got into a whole discussion about whether or not it was said. We will be skipping this location from now on.

The upstairs floor was closed; the toilet is located there, making it impossible to wash hands before and after eating. The tables downstairs hadn't been cleaned for a while. There were dirty stains and food remnants everywhere. The trash cans were overflowing, so you couldn't dispose of your waste either.

We drove through the McDonald's drive-thru and at first there was panic because they didn't have our order. After explaining what we had to 3 people 4 times, we were handed the dishes. The fries were ice cold. The McCroket too. Mine chicken nuggets were warm and crispy, while my girlfriend's were cold and soft. No, very disappointing.

I have been to McDonald's Amersfoort De Wieken very often. Eaten inside, got takeout, gone through the drive-thru, and have been doing so for years. For a McDonald's, it is actually quite a nice branch. I have to say that I personally just have a bit of trouble with the service staff. They all look like they don't enjoy their job, they sound uninterested, and they aren't always accurate either. Forgetting something once in a while can happen. I have missed something in my order often enough; you just pop inside and get it back. Recently, I ordered a Meatless Crispy Chicken Teriyaki burger. Unfortunately, when we got home, I realized it was a chicken burger that I had already taken a bite out of. We called the branch, explained the situation, and then we were hung up on. Which I personally find very strange. 5 minutes later we called back and were told that we could pick up a free burger at any branch. It is nice that there is a form of compensation, but it is a shame that it happened and that the reaction was like that.

Everything was great. The food was good. The staff was very helpful. Easily accessible from the motorway. We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip from Holland. Best regards, Christian Olberding

We are a bit older and we don't need all that electronic stuff. A friendly employee did all that for us. Excellent.....

Terrible place. Coffee cold, food cold, there was hardly any staff, payment didn't go well, toilets too filthy to even look at, let alone use. Yuck, never again😒

The wait staff does their best, but those incompetent cooks in the kitchen are making a mess of it! Lukewarm, soggy fries, grey hamburgers that taste like nothing because they are barely cooked.

McDonald's has become so expensive!!! A mini carton of milk.... €3.10!!! A mini milkshake...... €4.10!!! I know perfectly well that everything is getting more expensive, but this is ripping people off!!! They will never see me again.

Ordered at 15:44, food was cold at 16:04 at the checkout, had to remake the order, manager is sitting next to us but he shows little interest in handling things properly. To the manager with the beautiful dreadlocks, smiling a bit and looking around wouldn't hurt.

If you think you can refill your own insulated coffee cup with coffee here, you are in for a rude awakening. McDonalds doesn't actually want to save the environment, but rather make money from its cup sales. You cannot and are not allowed to have your own cup refilled, not even the one purchased from them earlier, supposedly due to the Food and Commodities Act. The employee couldn't explain that this is possible at just any gas station, because he "doesn't work there." He *could* tell me that I might have put turpentine in my thermos cup and that they would be liable. It's ridiculous. So, apparently HACCP is a very local thing. A pretext, then, to make a fortune under the guise of greenwashing. A real letdown!

Lovely, however, there was a receipt malfunction at one of the terminals and it was difficult to get an employee's attention for this. After reporting it, nothing was done about it, and it happened to more customers.

Small, but fine McDonald's. Unfortunately for many children, the playground is closed for another week.

The food is pretty OK. The service is good. The location is uninviting.

The food took 30 minutes to arrive and when it arrived there was no bacon on my double egg and bacon mcmuffin. Quite pathetic.

After an existential wait, certainly long enough to reconsider our life choices, someone finally appeared at the drive-thru to take our order. The interaction that followed was of an almost minimalist nature: no greeting, no word of thanks, just an empty look suggesting that we were a nuisance rather than guests. The cappuccino arrived neither hot nor cold, but above all disappointing, and turned out to be devoid of sugar and a stirrer. The McFlurry, in turn, was an exercise in quantitative scarcity: barely filled, watery in consistency, and enriched with a generous amount of ice crystals. In short, a culinary experience that we, out of self-preservation and compassion, do not recommend to anyone.

No one has an eye for detail, so it was filthy dirty. This deserves a star.

Would not go here during/after rush hour. We had to wait 15 minutes for 2 McFlurries, apparently they had been ready for 10 minutes but we werent informed/called. The screen just magically made our order disappear. When we asked for the drinks (which we eventually saw just standing behind the counter) we were handed them, we raised a point about them having melted and wanting new ones. "Why do you want a new one? Theyve only been made 10 minutes ago." I shrugged. The worker went to his manager, asked if he should make a new one, she said yes, and he sighed and made a spitting noise. After another 5-10 minutes we got our 2 McFlurries, without ice... They tasted good, as always. But i dont recommend going here.

The following has really improved. Pulled over at the drive-in and no longer knowing which car placed which order.

The manager is rude and rude. She doesn't know what "friendly" is. That's not how you treat your guests. She doesn't belong at a place like this!

Upon driving into the McDrive, it took a very long time for the car in front of me to finish ordering. By then, two cars had already been served at the second intercom (on the left). After the car in front of me drove on, I stood waiting for almost 5 minutes without being spoken to. I just reversed and went to the second intercom. There, I was spoken to (albeit not in a friendly manner) and was able to place my order. Subsequently, everything took quite a long time, and the chicken in the wrap and the Big Tasty were both lukewarm. Only the McChicken was hot, but both burgers lacked the generous amount of lettuce. So, all in all, not a very good visit. Next time, I’ll just drive on to the McDonald’s in Nijkerk.

Something went wrong with a personal deal. I asked the man who was bringing the food around. The first reaction was very indifferent; the order did go through. It had nothing to do with my question. The lid of the receipt machine wasn't closed properly; oh, the manager will be right with you in a moment. The manager, covered in McDonald's pins and wearing a strange hat, went to do her paperwork at a table further away. I decided to ask if she was the manager after all and told her my story. An equally indifferent reaction: "There's nothing we can do about it, sir," and she said she would look at the receipt machine later. I was given the receipt printed on a sheet of A4 paper. She said she would look at the receipt machine later. I am not used to this indifference from McDonald's. The people I spoke to at this branch don't care at all when you, as a customer, indicate that something isn't right. Okay, this isn't America where smiles are conjured up all day long and the red carpet is continuously rolled out. But this is the opposite. I am happy when I visit the friendly, hospitable, and service-oriented people at the MC in my own hometown again.

A Mac is a Mac, but if it says open from 8:00, then that has to be 8:00 and not 8:05 or later!!

We ordered at McDonald's Drive and it wasn't even complete, really bad, and they didn't give us a receipt, so we're not getting our money back either, really weird people.

After yet another bad experience there, I am now permanently stopping visiting this branch. They also create way too much mess in the surrounding area. Take some responsibility for once!

A quick bite, nothing more, but still tasty.

Placed a quick order for desert items after our meal for kidz. Watched the lady pack the order (incomplete), could clearly see she noticed there wasnt enough of the items to fill the order. Handed over to me like it was complete. Dishonest staff.

Waiting 20 minutes for some nuggets, a cheeseburger, and chicken wings. The wings were the only warm item on the menu. The rest was cold. The staff serving the food were busier looking for their friends and getting ice cream for them. I won't say whether that was handled properly.

Ordered 2x Arch, but once home, there were black hairs mixed in with the burgers. Sleepy business.

Ice creams are milkshakes here (maybe that's why there was such an irritated reaction to the question of whether I could have a spoon with the McFlurrys). And if you opt for a returnable cup, you shouldn't expect a euro back when you return it. 'No, that's a donation'. Peculiar.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Never had such a slow drive-thru, terrible staff, trash everywhere, and riffraff hanging around.

Everything is very clean and overall it's a very modern McDonald's.

Stopped at McCafé on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service quick (but there was only one other customer), and the place was very clean. The only downside: access to the upper floor (and its attached restroom) was closed.

We had an ice cream here, it was great.

Chaos in the parking lot. Traffic jams. Very long wait for the order. Suddenly, our order had disappeared from the screen.

I don't know a single McDonald's that forgets something with every order as standard. And if you find out when you get home, you are allowed to go get it, but it's all just so incredibly cumbersome...

Terrible service, ordered something, had to wait a very long time, then my food got cold and I asked if they could make it again. They said no, I was very dissatisfied with this. Reason: Was too 'busy'

Upon entering, we heard (and saw) a manager giving one of the employees a piece of her mind. Perhaps she deserved it, but I find it unacceptable to do this in full view of all your customers.

Very easily accessible McDonald's branch for the return journey from a holiday in the Netherlands Modern facilities

It's a McDonald's, so the food was just fine. An advantage is that it was on the upper floor, which was reasonably quiet. We got the wrong portion, but it was exchanged in half a second without any questions.

01-10-2025 around 18:00, picked up food from the McDrive. The food cost EUR 33.80. I paid with EUR 50.00; it took a while before we got our change back. Well, here it came: EUR 15.20 back. The hatch was immediately closed. We had received a euro too little, so we waited again and knocked on the window. After a waiting gesture from the employee, the window opened again, and before we could even say anything, she said: "I gave back a euro too little." It is all very strange, and it feels like she knew about it. Do this to multiple customers and you earn a nice little extra income. McDonald's must take action against this. This is stealing from well-paid customers!!

Typical atmosphere; those who are out and about in the field will appreciate the good Wi-Fi connection.

Possibly the worst McDonalds in Western Europe. I’ve certainly never been to worse. Unable to cope with being busy, it took them 32 minutes to fulfil my order and the food was stone cold - like it has been sat out for all of those 32 minutes. Plus a whole meal was missing. Completely useless.

McDonald's is a cozy restaurant to visit, and you can also use their Wi-Fi network on-site to carry out your work remotely, just like many already do from morning until before noon. And you can also enjoy whatever you're craving there. Highly recommended. Blessings 🤗

Just having some fun with the grandchildren

A dirty restaurant with sticky tables. We ordered a Quarter Pounder with a gluten-free bun; unfortunately, there was still paper on the cheese. Luckily, we were given a new one, but unfortunately, the new Quarter Pounder turned out not to be gluten-free, and my daughter was doubled over in pain from a stomach ache.

No atmosphere, noisy at the moment, and the staff didn't speak (good) Dutch; you had to keep a close eye on the board to see if your food was ready...

Very poor service at the McDrive of this branch. It took 5 minutes before we were served, followed by a 5-minute wait at the checkout counter. There, they charged 17 euros for 1 Latte Macchiato (the order was taken combined with the car behind us), followed by a long wait for pickup (cars with orders that took a long time were not placed in a special spot like at other branches; at the window, they wanted to direct us to the waiting area, but when I indicated that we only had coffee, we received the order anyway, but this time it had added flavor, so we had to go inside to exchange it). All in all, I spent fifteen minutes correcting a lot of mistakes made by the very young employees for just one cup of coffee. This can never go right here with a larger order.

We arrived at 23:53 with the doors open and were not provided with any assistance. We were sent away by a foreign employee. We find the service extremely poor. Absolutely no empathy for people traveling in the middle of the night!

Great McDonald's, fresh and delicious! Much better than in Germany. But the parking lot here is completely bottomless 😭

Is a very good mac good service always a clean table available I go there occasionally after school and then you don't want to wait and you don't have to!

We had to wait a full 30 minutes for our order. We finally walked to the cash register ourselves, where it turned out something had gone wrong with the order. When we finally got our food, the fries were cold and the burger was lukewarm. Only the chicken nuggets were fine. Furthermore, the trash cans were overflowing and the tables dirty, which made the whole experience even more disappointing. My advice: go to Subway or KFC next door. You'll probably have a better evening there.

We came here today, February 17th, with the kids for something to eat. I ordered a Coke without ice, but it still had a few melted ice cubes in it. As a result, the Coke was no longer fizzy and lukewarm. The food itself wasn't hot either, just cold and tasteless. I don't recommend this place. We won't be going back; you're better off eating at KFC.

We received very poor service at the MC drive-through; there was some angry commentary about the microphone. Unfortunately, we didn't even get to order; we had to drive to the first window. There too, the window was kept closed, and we weren't helped. I have no idea where this reaction came from. But I didn't expect something like this from such a large, normally well-organized organization. Fast service. Delicious MC flurry and snacks. They only forgot the napkins. But the quality is top-notch.
