By far the best craft beer venue in Amsterdam. And I've visited almost every one in just a few days. The widest selection, lots of taps, and bottled and canned options. Untappd is up-to-date, and there's plenty of seating.

The pubs was expected to be good and I guess it usually is given the reviews. Our experience was not that good, we arrived one hour and 15 minutes before closure and they already turned off the friers and they had essentially no food available anymore. The waitress wasn’t kind or friendly and was a bit upset since we entered one hour before closure (we stayed there 20 minutes only so we didn’t delayed her anyhow). One of the beers we took was the first one of the keg and I had the feeling that the beer line wasn’t properly cleaned since the beer had weird weird tastes (I drink non-regular beer, that one was bad-weird).

A paradise for craft beer lovers. Every type of beer will be available, both on tap and in bottles and cans. Take your time to decide what you're drinking, and you won't regret it.

What a fantastic bar/pub. Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great food, and of course excellent Mikkeller beer. Every beer we had was great and we wish we had the time to come back twice during our trip. Definitely make the trip here it's worth it!

One of The Mikkeller franchises, if you are a fan you have to come here. The location is quite and cozy, cool decorated bar inside. Nice staff and great beers. Do yourself a favour and come here!

Jasmyn is so welcoming and so helpful and well-informed with her beer recommendations that we came back twice in 3 days! Incredible tap list (about 30 taps) as well as a broad range of bottle/cans. Highly recommend this quiet spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle, just one block from the main strip. Outdoor tables as well, and delicious snacks. Loved my pina colada Gelato ice cream sour!

Awesome, massive selection of beer, nice service, and a chill setting in the heart of Leidseplein (shockingly). Loved the beer with champagne yeast - very funky, like a hybrid of natural wine and an IPA. We didn’t eat but saw borrel snacks and options for vegan and vegetarian. Will be back!

If you're a craft beer lover, you have to stop here. There are many options to choose from, both on tap and in cans and bottles. Great music and atmosphere. I would recommend not eating there because it's very basic, but not bad at all.

Siempre una gama de cervezas a precios razonables. Sus propias cervezas también son excelentes y las recomendaría como ejemplos típicos de lo mejor de la cerveza artesanal Holandesa. Ya NO hacen comidas principales, sino que ahora se adhieren a bocadillos y platos de queso.

Cozy bar with a very extensive range of beers

There's not too many craft beer bars in Amsterdam. But this is one of 4, where if you have a drink in each in a day, you get a free t shirt. Unfortunately I only discovered this on my last night! The bar itself has a great selection and loads of cans and bottles of exciting stuff. The draft keg is all local, which is what you want. Food is bar snacks but a bit posher. We didn't eat but it looked good coming out. A great bar for a 'proper' beer. It us expensive though!

When I travel, I always visit the Mikkeller in that area. I came here after Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore, and it was the best overall. There are a variety of taps, and most of all, the female staff members are very friendly. A must-visit place for beergeeks!

It was such a wonderful experience at Mikkeller. The staff was incredibly friendly, and every beer we tried was absolutely fantastic. I loved the cozy atmosphere—dim lighting, rustic wooden tables, and a buzz of happy chatter made it perfect for lingering. Their seasonal IPA was a standout, with bold citrus notes I’m still craving. I’d definitely love to visit their other locations around the world. Thanks for an amazing time—this spot is a must for beer lovers!

Escondido fuera del camino, pero céntrico, esto es agradable, con un ambiente fresco y mucha cerveza. Mikkeler es una buena cerveza artesanal danesa que se ha importado en colaboración con los chicos que dirigen este lugar. Después de haber estado en el bar MIkkeler en Copenhague, esto se siente muy danés, pero con un toque holandés. También hay muchas de las cervezas locales que están disponibles en los otros bares también. Vale la pena parar aquí si está cerca de Leidseplein y disfrutar - mejor aún es solo un corto viaje en tranvía a uno de sus otros lugares. Haz el tour... ¡consigue la camiseta!

I've eaten here many times, and it's always a delight. The pizza is wafer-thin and crispy, the pasta is always fresh and homemade. I especially recommend the truffle pasta—simply divine! The service is friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit on the high side, but absolutely worth it. I'll be back!

Great little bar with an impressive choice of beers, the names of which are written in chalk on large blackboards. The atmosphere is great and the location discreet. We drank the Winterland🤩🤩🤩 which we chose thanks to the short description noted. A marvel 🔥🤘

Great selection of craft beers! The best we visited in Amsterdam. However, I do not understand the phenomenon of visiting such places with children, which greatly spoils the atmosphere. Despite everything, the beers and the service were very good.

Amsterdam meets Copenhagen If you’re a beer fan, add this to your itinerary while in Amsterdam. Many taps on offer, with fantastic beer at a reasonable price. Although we didn’t eat, the food looked good. The only downside lies in having to choose from their extensive offerings, which is not a bad thing at all.

First time visiting, such a nice place! Came for one beer with my brother and stayed for 5! The bartender was incredibly friendly and gave recommendations based on the beers we'd had so far. She even suggested some that weren't yet written on the board that were her personal favourites. Pros: Immense choice, friendly staff, good location. Cons: It's a small bar so might be difficult to get a seat, especially if you're a large group, as everywhere in Amsterdam the beer prices are relatively high.

As someone who has been to Mikkeller Berlin, I can easily say that there is no hygiene and beer there. The taste of the beers was worse than I expected. We did not eat any food

We got to know this place through the City Calendar, tasty beers and the bitterballen are also recommended!

(Jan 2017) Wins the ’surprise on the upside’ award for Amsterdam bars. Crozy lay out and not unlike Craft & Draft in this respect. Close to 30 taps with quality and local rep very obvious. Nice friendly vibe. I’m very impressed and a great example of what can be done in small spaces (I hadn’t been to Copenhagen at this stage!). Makes the ’must visit’ list with ease and a much more visitor friendly location when compared to Craft & Draft and a few others.

A cozy brewery at around one of the silent corners of Leidseplein. They have plenty of beers to taste. You can ask for tasting notes and also try some options before you decide what to order. Snack plates are nice and affordable. Beers are special brews so prices are slightly above average. If you wanna meet at an authentic place and have some authentic taste, one of the best options around the neighborhood. Their toilets are super clean.

Hi, updating the feedback here after question o n the number of stars: this is due to the fact that the waiter asked to us speak on a lower volume because according to her "other customers could not listen and speak to each other". I know that I speak on a higher tone, specially when meeting friends on a bar. I had no alcohol so I also remember that the tone was not too high - that is why I gave such bad stars - if I am going to bar I expect to have good time with friends on an environement where we can laugh out loud and have fun with each other, and that is the opposite that I got. This is the first time it happened to me after living here in Amsterdam for 7 years - and already going to many other cafes around everywhere in the city.

I went to this pub because I know Mikkeller from Berlin and they have amazing range of craft beers to choose from. And I have to tell you I wasn’t disappointed. Knowing already a few craft beer places in Amsterdam here you can expect not only to have a glass of delightful amber nectar but a pleasant atmosphere as well. The place is a bit hidden from the main streets so you can expect less touristy vibe which is another plus. And I went there before going to Melkweg which is just around the corner. Initially I didn’t want to write this review just to keep this place more underground and be sure that I’ll again find a place to sit next time but they totally deserve it and the five stars as well, cheers!!

No estábamos planeando comer en el Mikkeller, estaba en nuestra parada en el MOREBEERTOUR. NL en Amsterdam. Después de haber persuadido a los extensos tableros de cerveza y seleccionar de la gama mixta y disfrutar de ellos, notamos que se sacaba comida para otros clientes, así que decidimos quedarnos y tomar otra cerveza más comida. El menú es pequeño 8 o 9 aperitivos y aproximadamente el mismo número de comidas, y no nos decepcionó. Recomendamos bocados de curry verde tailandés, croquetas de chorizo, curry vegano y la sabrosa hamburguesa de pescado con papas fritas y ensalada. Gracias al amable personal y al repostaje, nos dirigimos al bar final del tour, Craft & Draft, y nuestra camiseta gratis!

Previous review I left was 5 stars, but I have to change it now, sadly. The food is not what it used to be, and the staff is also not as great and as friendly as it used to be. It took almost an hour to get the food, and the waiter/barmaid arrogantly said that "she said it will take a while", which was not the case when we ordered our food. While I understand a delay, this is not how you treat customers, even if it's busy. Still great selection of interesting beers, but it's not that much of a great place anymore. If you're doing the More Beer Tour and count on some quick bites here - right now I would recommend to grab something on your way here, and just enjoy the beer.

Este es un pequeño y divertido bar con una gran selección escondida justo al lado de algunas de las calles más concurridas. Cuando mi novio y yo llegamos justo después de la cena, estaba bastante muerto, pero para cuando salimos una hora después, estaba respaldado. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas y simplemente relajante. Definitivamente me detendría de nuevo si estoy cerca y quiero un descanso de correr alrededor de todas las paradas turísticas.

A hidden gem of Amsterdam. Excellent selection of beer from their Copenhagen location, local brews, and a few craft brews from the UK and Ireland. Down at the end of an alley away from the crowds, makes it a quiet and relaxing place for an afternoon beer.

WOW. Our first Mikkeller pub in life and probably not the last. Everything was great: from the food, through the beer, to the service and atmosphere. This is how a pub should look and work :) We were here with Eliza and Paweł while visiting Amsterdam
