Wandered in here around 10pm and had a delicious meal. No ac but that goes for most places here .

One of the best Italian meals I've ever had in Amsterdam. Every dish was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The customer service was just as impressive, with a friendly and attentive team that made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Italian food in Amsterdam!

Without doubt I just had the best Italian meal...EVER in my life. Do yourself a favour and visit this place at least once in your life. Great food - Great service - Great atmosphere - all at a sensible price. 3 courses + drinks for under 60 Euro per person.

great mains lovely food was given sparkling water for some reason when we don’t drink sparkling and had one cup then was charged €5 for it (only commenting on this because the server asked couple next to us still or sparkling) as well as the bread being €5 and stale bit pricey there are probably better italian spots

I really enjoyed my dish of stuffed rabbit with potatoes- it was very tender and tasty. I should mention that my colleagues who ordered pasta didn’t like it so much- it was not enough seasoned/ salty. So stick to the rabbit. Also the full bodied red wine glass was excellent.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant in Amsterdam and by chance we found this one. The dishes were perfect, the pasta was of worthy Italian quality, the sardines had an incredible flavor, and the service was exceptional. Without a doubt, we will return!!

We visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately left quite disappointed. The service was friendly, but the food did not meet our expectations at all. The lamb ragout with pasta had a very unpleasant and overpowering taste that made it difficult for us to enjoy. It was also especially disappointing that one of the vegetarian dishes contained ham, even though it was clearly listed as vegetarian. Restaurants should be more careful with this, especially for vegetarian guests.

Service, starter, and dessert were fine. Wines too. However, the main course, Tagliolini pesce, was prepared with canned tuna. When pointed this out, the waiter responded by saying he was going to “discuss it with the chef” and eventually gave us two dessert wines as a gift. Well, that’s why 3 stars for the food. But serving canned fish is really unacceptable for that price.

I came here late. No one was here. Servers were eating dinner. I was apologetically asking May I still getting serve? Three of them welcome me in. I just wanted to have dessert so I ordered. Also I ordered espresso. Then this girl server was giving other server the eyes. Oh! That made me feel so uncomfortable and I wanted to leave at this point. Fungimisu was such a cute presentation. When looked over she did the same thing again. Looks like she’s comfortable doing all the time. Thank you for making me feel like crap.

Fantastic place where the food is exceptional and the deserts are inspired. Come in the afternoon if you want a quiet and elevated experience or in the evening for a full on high energy enthusiastic diner vibe. I love it and having been twice in two days, I will add it to my must-visit Amsterdam places.

The waiter was really friendly and courteous. Ordered the duck dish and it was good. To be fair it was good but tasted more like French cuisine than Italian at last to me.

Amazing place in the heart of Amsterdam, the Jordaan! I had never been here before and would have walked right past it if my Italian friend/colleague hadn't made a reservation. According to him, this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Amsterdam with a fantastic wine list, and he was absolutely right! Upon entering, I was immediately welcomed by Marco, one of the two owners, and received a very hospitable welcome. A glass of ‘Clorinda’ Pardi from Umbria was poured right away; it is a Trebbiano Spolentino and highly recommended as a starter. We received an amuse-bouche on the house: swordfish prosciutto with a citrus dressing—deliciously fresh and a great start! You can also see the swordfish prosciuttos in the fridge, which is really cool! After this, we chose the mix of 4 different starters: vitello tonnato, melanzana alla parmigiana, caponata Siciliana, and Sardine marinate servite. Truly top-notch! Along with this, we were served a platter of beautiful imported cheeses and charcuterie. A delicious start! Next, we were served homemade taglioloni with norcina sauce, a sauce consisting of pork sausage, mushrooms, and heavy cream. So good, unbelievable! I almost licked my plate clean. Next, the three of us shared the rabbit roulade stuffed with lardo, the smoked eel, and the braised veal cheek. We wanted to taste as much as possible, and it was so good! The smoked eel, in particular, was exquisite. It brings a smile to my face when I think back on all these dishes! Naturally, we finished the lunch with an espresso, but we also shared the fungamisu—a tiramisu, but it isn't a tiramisu. You simply have to try this one! We had a wonderful meal, and I will definitely be back! My compliments!

The food was nice and we enjoyed the lamb Ragu and Melanzana. However the service which started off fine became extremely slow and felt like everyone else was getting service apart from us. We had to ask several times for our main course and waited about 45 minutes for it to come. I assume they forgot our order which I wouldn’t have minded just if they had said. We skipped dessert because of this but then it took 30 minutes for them to bring the bill after asking. Sorry to say I wouldn’t rush back because of the long waits!

Food was good. Service SLOW - waited 30mins for mains and watched others get served before us (who arrived and ordered after us) and had to ask 3 times for the bill. The only place we decided not to tip sadly - not a great experience for us.

Gorgeous cuisine with impeccable service.

We had a delicious meal and good service. My friend had the tagliatelle with duck and I had a portion of Vitello Tonnato. Because my friend had a main course, my dish was also made into a larger portion. Very friendly!

Nice resto, not too big but very cozy. The staffs are all Italian, very warm welcoming and professional. Foods was so good. Just a pity I was looking for some dish with truffle but couldn’t find any, can you consider to put something on the menu? I took the eel dish, the eel taste well but the purée was a bit salty. The pasta was good. And you must try the desserts, the fungamisu and 5 differents take of lemon - absolutely must try. So appertizing visual and taste. 😍😍 Nice expenrience.

Delicious authentic Italian food

A superb spot in Amsterdam. I came for the truffle pasta, which unfortunately wasn't on the menu that evening, but I was still delighted by their homemade gnocchi. A special mention for the absolutely divine dessert 🥵

Excellent Italian food! The gnocchi with smoked ricotta... a wonderful discovery! As for the Assoluto di Limone dessert... as beautiful as it was delicious! And a very wide selection of wines.

I've had the opportunity to eat at this 100% Italian restaurant several times. The swordfish prosciutto is my favorite appetizer! The technique and process of curing the fish are very interesting. The pasta is fresh and handmade. The lamb ragù is delicious. The stuffed rabbit with roasted potatoes is a must-try. My favorite desserts: the mushroom su and the lemon, both created by the chefs with incredible technique. If you're in Amsterdam, you absolutely must stop by Momenti! The service is genuine and attentive. The staff are also very good at explaining the wine list, which has some great options. See you next time 🍷

I really appreciated the menu proposing traditional Italian flavours combined in more modern receipts. I enjoyed the sardine with pappa al pomodoro and the Anguilla (eel), an ingredients that is hard to find nowadays in other restaurants. I didn’t order pasta dishes because very classic, I would dare a bit more there if I was the chef. The cheese board, which we ordered as dessert, was honest, but I’d have appreciated a more cured selection (maybe some blue cheese or stronger cheese to finish). Great wine and service. Fair bill.

Quite disappointing... Small portions and the service was practically non-existent. We had to ask several times if we could order drinks. It's also not great that the bathroom is right next to the kitchen.

Wonderful and kind staff and delicious food. Eggplant starter was fabulous and pumpkin ravioli - totally perfect! It was a busy place but we were glad we stopped here.

Yes, we went a long time ago and it was great. Then twice more. It wasn't so great. Pretentious, so to speak. And now, after a long time, we tried it again. And it was delicious! A nice, affordable wine list. We shared a lot of dishes and were served on all sides. Just nice. I mean, we're small eaters, but we do value a glass of wine. Even though we ordered maybe two dishes, the total (final) bill was fine. We were sent away with a scornful smile somewhere else. This was warm and welcoming. We'll be back soon.

Very impressed with the hand made pasta and fresh truffles. Excellent wine selection and service was excellent, Martina was our waitress and she was not only friendly but very knowledge about the menu and wines. She made us feel like part of a family... Great experience there.

This restaurant had great reviews so we decided to try it. We were not told about the specials until we asked. Should have tried the special. My egg plant Parmesan was extremely soggy, mushy and over cooked. The salad had brown leaves. The service was good and the staff friendly. When we arrived the place was empty. Maybe that should have been a sign.

We came in July 2024 and left the restaurant satisfied. A year later, the portions have shrunk by half, and the plates are worthy of a child's meal. We waited 20 minutes outside because our table wasn't ready. No apology or goodwill gesture. A tourist trap, avoid it.

This added to my frustration and left me feeling that the service was not handled properly. I kindly ask that you review this matter. I believe it is important to ensure that all guests receive their food in a timely manner and are only charged for items that are actually served. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve the service for future guests. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this matter may be resolved.

What a truly authentic Italian restaurant. I was blown away by the quality of the dishes here, especially the smoked eel. The waitress was also a sommelier and was super informative and enthusiastic about the drinks and explaining them. The dessert was the only thing that let it down for me a bit, it was a play on tiramisu but I’d have preferred a normal one- but that’s just personal preference and perhaps not the vibe the restaurant was going for.

After a long search for an Italian restaurant with authentic flavors, we arrived at Momenti. As an Italian chef and lover of good food, I believe this place deserves a spot in my top 10 favorite restaurants. Fresh homemade pasta, spectacular lamb ragù, which took me back to Tuscany after three years away, melt-in-the-mouth veal cheek with an indescribable flavor and deliciousness, and finally, the Fungamisú—a brilliant idea. All served with high-quality extra virgin olive oil and homemade-looking bread. The staff was super friendly and professional, and the prices were reasonable considering the use of high-quality ingredients and perfect execution. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. My friends and I were visiting Amsterdam for a few days and stopped by this restaurant. One of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine they were serving. Our server gave fantastic wine recommendations that perfectly paired with the dishes. The truffle ravioli was unforgettable. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. We ended the meal with their fungamisu, and wow … creative, bold, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect finish to a standout meal. This place is a gem. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with elevated flavors and top-notch service, don’t miss it.

The food is good but in small quantities. But the service is very polite to be honest, 5€ for a little tap water and especially 5€ for a little bread, it's theft! Run away!!!!!

Tourist trap... Average meals, overpriced wines, and borderline honesty from the staff... prepayment for the online reservation not deducted from the bill, and water billed even though it wasn't ordered/consumed. I won't be back.

Service was warm and friendly from the moment I approached the door, and both my cocktail and food were prepared quickly and really well. The pillowy soft gnocchi was utterly delicious! Momenti is small Italian place. If you want to come with stroller that is not a good idea - there is no space. So better book one more seat for a kid and you will get kids chair. Place is very popular & busy. I would say an average Italian place with a good pasta and wine. 🍷

We ordered a meat dish called Guancia, ravioli tartufo, tagliolini pomodoro. The portions were very small but the taste was amazing. I can say it was the best ravioli I have ever eaten. The desserts were legendary. Pannacotta and assolute limone were very special flavors. Don't leave without trying them. Also the wines were very nice. A place I would like to come back to.

The best in Amsterdam! I went to this restaurant with my husband and our three children, we ate really well, very high level. The place is welcoming, clean and very well-kept. They fulfilled every request of our little ones giving us an excellent experience in all aspects! TOP wine.

I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Personnel friendly and warm, dishes extremely tasty and many interesting wines to try. If you are lucky, you might catch a table outside in this beautiful street of Amsterdam. Definitely recommended!
