Quite disappointing... Small portions and the service was practically non-existent. We had to ask several times if we could order drinks. It's also not great that the bathroom is right next to the kitchen.

Nice, cosy, popular Italian restaurant. I recommend it for team dinner or a romantic dinner with your partner. Food is nice and fresh. Beef tender and cooked perfectly. Dessert good quality and presentation. Cannot go wrong.

Wonderful and kind staff and delicious food. Eggplant starter was fabulous and pumpkin ravioli - totally perfect! It was a busy place but we were glad we stopped here.

Yes, we went a long time ago and it was great. Then twice more. It wasn't so great. Pretentious, so to speak. And now, after a long time, we tried it again. And it was delicious! A nice, affordable wine list. We shared a lot of dishes and were served on all sides. Just nice. I mean, we're small eaters, but we do value a glass of wine. Even though we ordered maybe two dishes, the total (final) bill was fine. We were sent away with a scornful smile somewhere else. This was warm and welcoming. We'll be back soon.

Very impressed with the hand made pasta and fresh truffles. Excellent wine selection and service was excellent, Martina was our waitress and she was not only friendly but very knowledge about the menu and wines. She made us feel like part of a family... Great experience there.

This is not Italian cuisine, I was there with my mom and we ate some disgusting pasta, highly discouraged.

This restaurant had great reviews so we decided to try it. We were not told about the specials until we asked. Should have tried the special. My egg plant Parmesan was extremely soggy, mushy and over cooked. The salad had brown leaves. The service was good and the staff friendly. When we arrived the place was empty. Maybe that should have been a sign.

We came in July 2024 and left the restaurant satisfied. A year later, the portions have shrunk by half, and the plates are worthy of a child's meal. We waited 20 minutes outside because our table wasn't ready. No apology or goodwill gesture. A tourist trap, avoid it.

This made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing, as we were unable to enjoy our meals together. Additionally, I was charged for bread that I never received. This added to my frustration and left me feeling that the service was not handled properly. I kindly ask that you review this matter. I believe it is important to ensure that all guests receive their food in a timely manner and are only charged for items that are actually served. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve the service for future guests. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this matter may be resolved.

What a truly authentic Italian restaurant. I was blown away by the quality of the dishes here, especially the smoked eel. The waitress was also a sommelier and was super informative and enthusiastic about the drinks and explaining them. The dessert was the only thing that let it down for me a bit, it was a play on tiramisu but I’d have preferred a normal one- but that’s just personal preference and perhaps not the vibe the restaurant was going for.

After a long search for an Italian restaurant with authentic flavors, we arrived at Momenti. As an Italian chef and lover of good food, I believe this place deserves a spot in my top 10 favorite restaurants. Fresh homemade pasta, spectacular lamb ragù, which took me back to Tuscany after three years away, melt-in-the-mouth veal cheek with an indescribable flavor and deliciousness, and finally, the Fungamisú—a brilliant idea. All served with high-quality extra virgin olive oil and homemade-looking bread. The staff was super friendly and professional, and the prices were reasonable considering the use of high-quality ingredients and perfect execution. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. My friends and I were visiting Amsterdam for a few days and stopped by this restaurant. One of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine they were serving. Our server gave fantastic wine recommendations that perfectly paired with the dishes. The truffle ravioli was unforgettable. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. We ended the meal with their fungamisu, and wow … creative, bold, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect finish to a standout meal. This place is a gem. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with elevated flavors and top-notch service, don’t miss it.

The food is good but in small quantities. But the service is very polite to be honest, 5€ for a little tap water and especially 5€ for a little bread, it's theft! Run away!!!!!

Wow! This place is a must. Sooo delicious. Order the burrata and truffle ravioli. You won’t be disappointed. Pasta is made fresh twice a day.

Tourist trap... Average meals, overpriced wines, and borderline honesty from the staff... prepayment for the online reservation not deducted from the bill, and water billed even though it wasn't ordered/consumed. I won't be back.

Momenti is small Italian place. If you want to come with stroller that is not a good idea - there is no space. So better book one more seat for a kid and you will get kids chair. Place is very popular & busy. I would say an average Italian place with a good pasta and wine. 🍷

If I could give 6 stars, then I would !! Momenti is a beautiful, authentic Italian dining experience with delicious food and amazing service. Highly recommend for a special meal — a must-try is the lemon dessert, an absolute masterpiece in both visual design and taste.

We ordered a meat dish called Guancia, ravioli tartufo, tagliolini pomodoro. The portions were very small but the taste was amazing. I can say it was the best ravioli I have ever eaten. The desserts were legendary. Pannacotta and assolute limone were very special flavors. Don't leave without trying them. Also the wines were very nice. A place I would like to come back to.

I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Personnel friendly and warm, dishes extremely tasty and many interesting wines to try. If you are lucky, you might catch a table outside in this beautiful street of Amsterdam. Definitely recommended!

The best in Amsterdam! I went to this restaurant with my husband and our three children, we ate really well, very high level. The place is welcoming, clean and very well-kept. They fulfilled every request of our little ones giving us an excellent experience in all aspects! TOP wine.

Eggplant parmigiana was really good. The pasta was ok, Al dente to perfection. I would say overall good taste but nothing wowed me apart from the eggplant.

Shocking and Unsafe Experience! We found broken glass in my wife’s spaghetti during our visit. Thankfully, she didn’t swallow it, but the incident ruined the meal for everyone as we ate cautiously and anxiously. This was a serious safety issue!

We had a terrible experience. There was a piece of broken glass, about the size of a fingertip, in our pasta. 😱 Thankfully, it didn’t injure my friend’s mouth or esophagus — otherwise, it could have been a disaster!!! What made it even worse was that the staff didn’t seem to care much. They simply replaced the dish and brought a new one about half an hour later!

Great authentic Italian restaurant, super service!

After a few days in Amsterdam we needed some Italian food, we often passed by “Momenti” and decided to try it. The best decision we could have made!! Fabulous food, the veal cheek melted in your mouth, not to mention the gnocchi with 3 tomatoes! Perfect wine!! The panna cotta amazed us, really tasty with that jam! The service was perfect, everyone was kind and friendly! Congratulations!

What a nice restaurant, the vitello tonnato eaten as anti pasti and the tagliolini with lamb ragout. And of course a dessert fungamisu. Super delicious food. There would have been a security di plati with it. The portions are really fine to eat 4 courses. I am not a super big eater. We saw at our neighbors that the secondary plati were also fine portions. Good wines, prosecco and mock- or cocktails. Of course a nice limoncello to finish.

We had a wonderful time at this Italian restaurant. The food is of remarkable quality, you can taste the homemade flavor in every dish, it's a real treat! The service is impeccable, attentive, and warm. You simply feel at home here, a place to recommend without hesitation.

I have to say, for an Italian spot abroad, the quality is good, but there are a few things that could be improved especially considering the final bill. The mixed antipasti were tasty, although the pappa al pomodoro with anchovies was served way too cold, straight out of the fridge. I would’ve definitely enjoyed it more warm or at least room temperature. For the main course, I had the truffle ravioli: tasty, but €32 for a portion like that is honestly a bit much, especially since the truffle was out of season and didn’t bring that deep, earthy flavor you’d expect , also there was no salt . On a positive note, the service was lovely. Special thanks to Claudio, who was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience more enjoyable. All in all: a nice place if you’re missing Italian food, but the prices are hard to justify for what’s offered. Worth trying once, but I’m not sure I’d go back :)

Food was good. Just too overpriced... even for the Amsterdam standards. You pay 23-36€ for a pretty small portion of pasta. We were in 4 people, they all felt the portions were small. Starters ranging from 15-20+€. So if you want to eat well, you can easily pay 40-50€ for just one person, not even considering the drinks.

Brilliance shows in limitation: a limited number of seats results in a lot of attention by the staff, a limited number of dishes on the menu mean that each dish is created fresh and gets all the attention, and a limited number of wines to choose from results in the staff knowing very well what to recommend. This is high-level Italian cooking! But most important: I had a lovely evening.

The food tastes very good and is nicely prepared. I especially think the mushroom-shaped tiramisu is an original idea. The dishes are rather very overpriced, especially since the portion sizes are just as manageable as the menu with the 3 main courses. The waiter is very helpful. I find it unusual and on the unappetizing side that the kitchen is right next to the toilet and without any separation. If high-priced restaurants are featured on the menu, the entire concept should be coherent.

We were looking for a good restaurant to eat, in general I'm not a fan of Italian food, but this cute, small, welcoming place caught my attention. The starters were DELICIOUS! The desserts are so good!! The main dishes were good, but the service, atmosphere, wine list... in short... I can't wait to go back.

We had one of the most delicious gnocchis we've ever tried. The only “bad” thing about it is that the ration was not much, as they were sooo good 🥹 our waitress was the italian boy who was excelent.

We went for dinner as a couple at Momenti. The meal was very good, of course, but for the price, fortunately! It is excessively expensive. These are flavors that we already know, recipes that we also make. Given the prices we expected a discovery ++ Watch out for the basket of bread for €5... And the carafe of water for the same price. Bottles of wine are outrageously expensive. It's definitely a fact And very noisy. Quite unbearable.

Very tasty food, definitely worth it if you like slow dining and slightly finer food. However... Too bad that for such a fancy restaurant you have to pay extra for a bottle of still water (which is actually tap water) and a small bowl of bread... For the price you pay, this should include the food.

Cozy Italian restaurant with delicious meals. We had a valentines-day course, all the dishes were tasty. The only thing I could say is that the sauce of the spaghetti could be a little more “special”. But overall we enjoyed our time and I would love to try dishes from the menu, hopefully some time soon! Also a brief shout out to the staff who remembered my husband’s birthday, the dessert came with a candle. Simple gestures mean a lot!

Momenti became our "go-to" restaurant when we are in Amsterdam. We also visited the restaurant for their great lunch & wine pairings a few times now. Marco, the owner has a great understanding of the wines and tells about the vinyards and wines with a lot of passion!

Very welcoming attention, very fast service, special recommendation for the special dishes with Italian truffle, exquisite. For dessert, the tiramisu and the lemon cake were delicious and very original, and the Irish coffee was also very delicious to finish, a great choice. We will be delighted to return on our next visit to Amsterdam.
