Mooie Boules Amsterdam in Oostelijke Eilanden/Kadijken

Played 90 min boule and then had small plates for dinner - lots of veggie options. Taste and authenticity not amazing but pretty decent - great place for large groups!

We had a reservation on a Sunday around lunchtime. The staff were more busy watching football than serving. There were practically no food or drinks available. Boules is a fun activity for a pre-dinner drink.

Amazing place to start off your Friday evening! The beers they have on their tap are piece by piece delicious, i can strongly recommend cornet and the ijwit. The staff on Friday night was great, and gave the hospitality you expect from a brown bar!

If you really want to play pétanque—whether it's a company party or a get-together with friends—then do it here. It's a large space on two floors. There are no fewer than 10 pétanque courts, and it gets booked up quite a bit. So, if all the courts are in use, the bar and kitchen can barely keep up, and the wait for your food and drink can be a bit longer ;)

Huge bar where you can play jeu de boules. Its a really nice spot, both the bouncer and the people at the bar were very friendly. We had a party and booked a part of the upper level with a private bar and jeu de boules field. There's a good selection of drinks and there are also plenty of board games you can play. Its a hidden spot but worth visiting!

What a great shop! Even though you have to order yourself, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful evening.

I recently went to Mooie Boules for a company party. We had a fantastic time. The service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Milan helped us frequently, and I must say he mastered everything perfectly. All in all, I have nothing to complain about this wonderful evening. Great boules, thank you so much! My family and I went to play pétanque, and we had a great time. The location is great, easily accessible by car and public transport. It's very nice inside, with a very warm atmosphere and plenty of courts to play on. We started with a bite to eat: delicious fries and bitterballen (Dutch meatballs). We played for an hour and then ordered dinner right after. Delicious food and incredibly good service. A great place for a family outing or a fun night out with friends; 5 stars!

Boules court is fun. Food is good, but everything is served in a cardboard container, no plates. Main courses aren't served at the same time. One person can eat while the other has to wait. Noisy/loud.

The atmosphere, service, music, and decorations were all top-notch. It's a shame you had to book well in advance to play pétanque. I didn't try the food, but the platters looked delicious and the price was reasonable.

The food here was fantastic, but the bartender/server were completely rude. I have actually never been treated so horribly at a restaurant. I would not recommend to anyone and if I were the owner, I would seriously consider finding new staff.

We had a great time bouldering. Eating with a group of meat-eaters and non-meat-eaters is a bit tricky, as it was unclear whether some dishes were meat or vegetarian. The grilled cauliflower was delicious.

We went here with a team outing. It was super fun. There is more than enough space to not feel cramped and you can play jeu de boule, jenga and many boardgames. The food was very good. We had the mixed menu, which was delicious. It was enough food per person for us, because we were all women, but if you're big eaters i would order one of the bigger menus.

I was here on a company outing. We had a fantastic day, and the food was plentiful and delicious.

I couldn't personally recommend it, but what a fantastic afternoon we had with about 40 men and women on a team outing. Everything was absolutely perfect: the food, rice table, spare ribs, both halal and vegetarian, all available for meat eaters. The drinks and the snacks afterward were excellent. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant afternoon or evening, whether it's for staff parties, family, friends, or anything else.

After a somewhat disappointing experience with the neighbors, we ended up here. We received a fantastic welcome from the manager, Martijn; we immediately felt at home and appreciated. Great place, good beers/drinks, and staff!

You can eat and play boules here. The food was good, though I had to ask several times for drinks. You order at the table using your mobile phone. Not everyone likes it, but it works. Highly recommended!

Mooie Boules is always a good time. Play a few rounds of boules, grab a beer, and chill with friends or your team. Solid drink selection, tasty snacks, and a fun vibe that never feels too serious.

When we arrived with 30 people, we had booked 4 lanes, but they were still occupied. The time for the drink flat rate was started immediately, even though we had to wait quite a while. Additionally, none of the waiters cleared the lanes for us — instead, we were told to ask the other guests to leave, which is extremely unprofessional. Furthermore, I had ordered snack platters for 30 people, but it was far too little. The food that was served afterwards, which was also ordered for that many people, was clearly insufficient in quantity. We stayed there for a long time and spent a significant amount of money, and when we wanted to order more drinks, we were told they wouldn’t be made for us anymore, even though staff was still available. With such a large group and such a high bill, I believe there should be more flexibility.

If you’re looking for a spot that mixes laid‑back fun with genuinely good food and drinks, Mooie Boules is it. We booked a pétanque lane for a friend‑group get‑together and ended up staying far longer than planned because the whole place is just that enjoyable.

Especially bartender (and I think also manager) Milan is not only mesmerizing to look at but also amazing at his job. Had a lovely time here!

Beautiful spot along the canal that serves a variety of different foods and bar snacks. Inside has games and good vibes for some drinks with friends/a group outing. I recommend eating outside on a nice day or during sunset for a good view

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with beautiful boules. It was, in a word, perfect!!! We had a separate part of the room upstairs for a maximum of 60 people with its own bar, private boules court, dart board and shuffleboard table. We were able to decorate it completely ourselves and arrange it as desired in terms of chairs and tables. We chose the snacks in advance and they came out at agreed times. Very casual, our guests could do something active besides having drinks and this way people who didn't know each other could get to know each other. Everyone commented on how much fun this party, the location and the atmosphere was! Special thanks to our top bartender Joor!!! He was fixing everything with a calm and charisma as if he was just chilling at his own party! Thanks to Milan, an earlier visit to Mees for more information on location, and to Laura for arranging the quote. The emails and calls about our wishes were a party in themselves, you are all so nice, great people!!! Thank you so much for this successful party!! ❤️

We came all the way from the States for a Eurotrip and never expected to find such a buzzing atmosphere! I don’t say this too often but: FANTASTIC music and good hard working staff! What a night. This guyyy. We petanqued our way into the night. Beach boys music was truly amazing!

Might be slightly biased here as I didn’t pay for anything and I was absolutely steaming, but wow what a lovely place. Was part of a large group, but the service for everyone at the table was well organised, efficient and very friendly. As it was an open bar, we could easily pop up, chat through the beers and select the Tripel where necessary! The scran was varied and tasty, made for some really good drinking accompaniments. I didn’t even get close to capturing the entire platter we got, but it all came in different boxes including chips, to salads to whole barbecued chicken! The boules was also incredibly fun, made for some good bonding with people across the world! Though I’m definitely not sure we were playing it right. By the end of the night I was closer to hitting the ground rather than the pin. Thanks for a lovely evening and excellent service across the board, let’s hope boules makes it to Scotland!

I was here with two people and it was a lot of fun, you could order food and drinks at the track via QR code, so that was nice and easy! Would definitely recommend it if you feel like doing something fun while enjoying something to eat or drink, and would definitely recommend the food too :)
