I definitely do not recommend the Most restaurant in Amsterdam. I wanted to order a glass of wine, but I was refused service because I didn't order dinner - it was the first time I've encountered something like this. In addition, I wanted to sit outside, where it was empty, but I was not allowed either. The restaurant was empty, and yet they did not want to serve the customer. A very unpleasant experience.

What an amazing experience. A beautiful restaurant with a great view. The food is delicious and the service is something you don't often encounter anymore. Highly recommended.

A real evening out for a beautiful culinary experience, with very good service. Very hospitable, driven, passionate and relaxed and a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed it and it was an experience. The layout and combinations/choices of putting ingredients together was an art. Definitely recommended for a beautiful, surprising evening. With a view of the IJ, a seat by the window is an extra gift. It was noted that it was my birthday, even though we had not reported it. Yet we are surprised at the end. Very nice!

The furnishings are modern and stylish. The food was tasty, but the waiting time could have been shorter.

Had dinner at MOS with my husband. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience for us. When making the reservation, I told you what I would not eat. We were cheerfully welcomed by a nice boy. He then asked if it was correct that I didn't eat certain things. That was right. Nice, so it has been noted. The 1st dish came. There was something in this that I told them I wouldn't eat. I thought okay... a mistake... can happen, but I let my husband eat my first dish. Second dish, the same story again, but I then indicated that I did not eat that and had passed on that and it was confirmed upon arrival. Grumpy and irritated, my plate was taken away and I was quickly given a replacement dish. After that the atmosphere really changed for us. The person who served us stopped coming and didn't look at us anymore. I expect at least something of an apology and/or some compensation. This is something we can do once every 2 years because it is expensive. But what if you are treated like this? Really not nice for a star restaurant. At the end he came to report; I assume everything was to your liking, right? Have a nice evening! Ehh no, it wasn't and you knew that very well. Once for us but never again. To think that we spent a lot of money on a worthless treatment, we would rather have eaten somewhere else. Once and never again.

Incredible place the dish is an eggplant mousse. No wonder its Michelin star. The other dish is marinated sea bass accompanied by millefeuille with sesame seeds.

The food tastes okay. While eating 6 courses of foie gras, my friend came across a strand of steel wool. He said he was sorry and said you were lucky and had a 1 in a million chance. He also makes strange jokes, such as going to the casino. There's nothing wrong with your body after eating, right? I also make jokes like this. Calculation is also provided from another table, Since we split the bill, the receipt gets crumpled right before our eyes and the service is the worst.

I was eating and found a foreign object made of iron. I complained and the staff came and said, "I'm sorry, but you won a one in a million chance and you're the lucky one. Go to the casino. " He joked. I don't understand how you can pay a lot of money at a Michelin restaurant and not get proper service and have to joke about it. When I tried to pay, I asked for a split and they angrily took the old receipt away and brought me a new one. It's so unkind.

Excellence all around. Don't miss the wine arrangement with interesting wine pairings, perfect plating, attentive service, beautiful space and views over the water. You know it's good when I forgot to take pictures of each course.

World class, really superb in all respects

We went to MOS for a six-course dinner and were absolutely amazed! The view of the IJ river, top-notch service, and food leave nothing more to be desired - We will be back for sure!

First time at MOS and the service was exquisite. The food was creative with a mix of European and International cuisine, featuring Dutch ingredients. We had the 6-course menu and added oysters as an aperitif. Overall, a great spot for fine dining in Amsterdam city center with a fantastic view of the IJ.

Fantastic food and service. Just had a perfect dinner here for a second time. We had the 6 course chef's menu and it was really out of this world. We'll be back.

Received with all due respect on a quiet Wednesday evening. The appetizers could have had a bit more flavor, but after that almost all dishes were star-worthy. Wine and non-alcoholic advice was not only very good and positively surprising, but above all very hospitable. Plus points for bringing only the vegetarian menu if you indicated this when you made your reservation. Go eat here!

The food is absolutely amazing and well balanced. Great atmosphere and the people are very kind. 100% a recommendation. Reserve upfront at the Interparking. It’s a 5 min walk.

Price/quality is okay but no Michelin experience. Service was not sharp, veal was drowned out by the oyster, scallops by the daikon, sweetbreads by the dal and the ray was too salty. Chocolate dessert was very good. Dress code is casual chic while the service looks casual smart.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was insanely delicious and such a great service! I highly recommend this place. The best dutch fine dining experience!

On average, we do some things with potential every year. Unfortunately, moss is not what we hoped it would be in comparison. The lady who first spoke to us at the table was short and unfriendly. The dishes were tasty, but with little surprise. The veal sweetbreads certainly did not achieve the expected results. The wines, despite the repeated "pairing" did not provide a wow feeling.

What a pleasant dining experience. Greeted at the door for my birthday with a kind smile and took my coat. The waiters could have been slightly more attentive to cleaning the crumbs off the table after each course and filling our glasses more regularly. Worth noting is that the dining room area is very loud and I didn't love that aspect of things. I think that the restaurant could do a better job of trying to dampen the sound reverberation to make a more intimate setting. The chef did an excellent job with his courses which were diverse and very enjoyable on the palate. I especially commend him for making substitutions based on dietary restrictions and still making exceptional dishes out of the permissable ingredients. I greatly appreciate the chef for taking time out of the kitchen briefly to take a picture with us. I would come back here.

MOS was a good fine dining experience starting from the staff and environment. Located next to the water, the restaurant is a ln open space with two stories designed with a boutique feel. The staff was attentive enough though different people were explaining and serving dishes and some dishes were explained better than others. Each dish highlight local meats and produce while having Asian flavor influences as well which made some of the dishes interesting.

We had a very tasty meal here with a beautiful view of the IJ. Fast service with a smile. It is a busy and trendy place, so quite a lot of background noise from other guests. Recommended!

Not worth the hype, The service is absolutely under par and the food is not astounding. It all started rather well, but the service went from bad to worse, getting to point in which dessert took 45 minutes to arrive, which was honestly not worth the wait. Worst thing is that the chef got upset and stormed out after us because someone from the party posted a bad review. Rather than saying sorry he insisted on an explanation for the review, speaking in a firm and insistent tone. This explanation was given, which is precisely what I am narrating. I can understand visiting if you’re a local and want to explore different restaurants, but as a tourist, I would say there are many other options in Amsterdam with exceptional cuisine.

Took 40 minutes between plates. The owner scolded/questioned me for giving the place a bad review. I explained the reasons for my bad review and he did not apologize, just kept on questioning why I gave a 1 star review. Food was good the experience was mediocre.

Delicious food, with certainly a few very good highlights (pike-perch, among others). The wine was also tasty, well chosen and very nicely explained. Friendly man with a passion for his profession. However, that passion was hard to find in any other table attendant. From the start there was no laughing matter. Didn't seem to feel like it and wasn't sharp either. Would have liked to order caviar with the second dish as stated on the menu, but it was not offered. Food was served while I went to the toilet and we would receive an explanation of the dishes on the plate together. Hasn't happened again. These details must be correct at star level with the corresponding price.

The complimentary sourdough bread was outstanding – truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish was above average in taste and presentation. 2. You can taste the quality and care in every bite, making for a truly elevated dining experience. 3. There are not many tables overlooking the water. But the food is delicious, the service impeccable, the wine list excellent.

Lovely experience! We went for the 5 course menu and every dish was outstanding. The presentation, the combination of flavors, textures, etc. everything was finely balanced. We chose the wine pairing and each one was better than the previous, from good to spectacular. The food and the wines were in great harmony. Last but not least, the people , waiters and Danilo, the sommelier, made us feel very confortable, far from the rigidity sometimes found in Michelin start restaurants. Definately It is worth spending a bit more...

I got sick from the sea bass tartare within two hours of eating it my doctor checked me for parasites when I got back to usa and found the infection. Had terrible nausea, fever, and body aches. emailed the restaurant regarding the incident but they never replied.

Really nice staff. However, very annoying when they ask if you want sparkling water or plain and still give me plain water. And not only that, they continue to fill my glass with plain water even though I filled it with bubbles myself. Really nice staff, but of course difficult with the language, but that was to be expected. Way too small portions, we ordered the maximum number of dishes plus cheese. But still, you didn't even get close to full... The water costs them a lot of money anyway. They also refill your glass without asking, so it is very difficult to imagine that you will have to pay for it.

A half-hearted dinner. Deconstructed and messy dishes. No connection between the plates - different services presented in bite-sized pieces without coherence. The service was, however, very good and the place is sublime. The food and wine pairing is generous but divisive.

5 course lunch menu. All dishes are amazing. The river view from the windows is a delight to the eye. I had great dining experience here. Highly recommend Mos to everyone who enjoys seafood and fine dining.

Great location, great cuisine, where brigade works hard for high quality. Of course it costs a lot of money, but the experience is completely worth it. They probably make money from the drink, but that's fair

M O S | A M S T E R D A M The location is stunning, just like the panoramic view of the IJ. It is also nice that you can look into the open kitchen and have a view of the pass. I think the appetizers were a good example for the rest of the evening. Above all, they were beautiful, tasted fine, but were not surprising and/or exciting. The dishes had a fairly flat taste, except for the main course, which was extremely sour in taste, out of balance and did not feel nice in the mouth. The service was very friendly and correct, the main course that we did not eat was neatly removed from the receipt. The wine pairings were good and in 2 of the 6 dishes the wine was even better than the dish. After seeing the dessert on the menu I had high hopes for a banger of a closing, unfortunately the dessert was just fine and after eating it certainly cannot be described as a dish that you still look back on with longing. As an avid amateur baker, I really understand that Madeleines are an easy hit as a friandise, because they are quick and easy to prepare and they always taste nice in the mouth. The problem is that almost every fine dining restaurant uses them as 1 of the 4 friandises, which is a shame. It often feels like a “must” even though it is the last thing you eat. At @orangeriedepol or @roemerutrecht, both of which do not have a star, they understand that friandises are important. They go for variety, innovation and fine flavors. Back to @mosamsterdam, the bill was for 4 people, minus 2x main course with wine that were neatly removed, €700+. That was certainly not worth it for us, the taste explosions did not happen and I would not recommend it myself. It feels a bit, more and more, that when a place has a star for longer they relax, no longer put passion into the food and go for an extra @moldbrothers decoration piece on top so that it looks nice and sophisticated, but no longer go for the taste.

Went here back in January of this year. This is really more of an "experience" and the owner/head chef seems very knowledgeable. It feels you are approaching the expected value of what you are paying, which can be really hit or miss in Amsterdam. We arrived after the sun had gone down and it looked gorgeous looking out on the water with all the lights, and immaculately decorated and clean on the inside. The attention to every detail was definitely noticeable. From the amazing caramelized butter for the perfect bread to the somewhat complicated flavor pairings throughout each plate. The head chef or owner came to our table to explain his recommendations and choices in great detail which was nice, and our waiter seemed to enjoy his job which was great! I think I found the flavor in general to be delicate and carefully done and easy to enjoy, but missing some "pow" - not enough acid, spice, fat, char, etc. So everything a bit muted and seemed created for the Dutch palate (sorry!). With some odd details like the most generic white button mushrooms on an otherwise very artistic plate, and a tough/very chewy piece of meat. But I'm glad we went and would recommend the experience if you like fine dining.

We ate here about eight years ago (before the Michelin star) and were deeply impressed. This time the occasion was our 10th anniversary. I had indicated this when making the reservation and we also got a great table on the side, with a view over the IJ. Perhaps expectations were (too?) high due to our previous experience, we were actually... not as blown-away as back then. Some dishes are beautiful, others less interesting. This is partly due to the amazing layout, which means you always expect a corresponding taste experience. We found this a bit disappointing, for example with the (beautifully prepared) tuna. On the other hand, the lamb and black cod were truly delicious. The dessert of rhubarb with strawberries was tasty but not a huge feat. The “Congrats” written on the dessert plate was very thoughtful. The prices were of course also different eight years ago and that has now become clear to us. We found the price of the “Bob wine package” (half glasses) quite exorbitant; just under eight euros per glass. In addition, there are some things that we do not find so attractive and worthy of a Michelin star. Two bottles of sparkling water on the bill, while (after the first empty bottle) additional drinks were served without asking from an already opened bottle that did not remain on the table. We also find the 'surprise' of the friandises that you get with the espresso (while we only asked for an espresso) a bit questionable. Especially if two cups of espresso suddenly cost €19. The difference is big in terms of service. One waiter makes a very careful, attentive and interested impression, the other behaves a bit familiarly and a bit too nonchalant and is already on his way to the next table. We found it strange that the crumbs were removed from the table with a sweeper at the (well-known) neighbors' table, but not at ours. The atmosphere in terms of interior is fine, nice chairs, beautiful colors. We thought the lighting was too harsh and ultimately looked like cold fluorescent light above our table. The music is the kind of lounge wallpaper that is also played in a beach bar on Bloemendaal. That could be much better. All in all, we felt that things were handled a little too casually and a bill of € 418.50 hurts a bit, it is a considerable amount but unfortunately the experience was less memorable than eight years ago.

There are modern buildings right on the water near the main train station and there you can find the restaurant via a narrow footbridge. It is rather simple but tastefully decorated, with good views of the water and ships. But the best thing is the good, modern and original cuisine. A varied menu is offered at a reasonable price. The dishes are prepared with absolute taste and attractively decorated. The cheerful service helps to make the meal a pleasant experience.

Superb experience, food is beautifully made AND tastes delicious, wine pairings are masterful. The staff was incredibly hospitable and made our company of 4 enjoy each dish, drink and moment of the 6 course menu. Well worth the money, best experiences I have ever had.

Dinner at 6 p.m. We took the 6 Steps menu. The kitchen : In order, from best to least good, appetizers that make you want to eat, then dishes and desserts that are less and less tasty and not even well presented. The service : Very friendly at first... then there was a problem in the kitchen or in the service. But we waited 30 minutes between each dish. We ate in over 3 hours! Because we reported it! And things are speeding up! Finally : A bill of +300€ for 2 menus in 6 Steps and 4 Glasses of wine in total. About 3h15 at the table, exhausting. No apology from the staff, and not even a commercial gesture. It's not worth the price, we know much better and can expect much better for this price. We regret it a little.

Food was ok. Very beautiful to look at but not very tasty.

MOS Amsterdam offers inventive cuisine with nice flavor accents. Each dish is beautifully presented and contains nice flavor combinations. The wine pairing is good with a few outliers in the very good direction. Friendly and helpful staff. Every square centimeter was used, so you sit a little close to the table next to you and there is also more noise than I normally expect in a star restaurant (but I think this is also the difference between Belgium and the Netherlands).

The food was super tasty and a feast for the eyes, real works of art. The service is super friendly and always explains the dishes with passion. My husband requested a table by the window and was given it (what a beautiful view). We really enjoyed everything. The only downside is that it will be difficult to eat somewhere else 😜

More than a dinner, a real sensorial experience, beautiful and tasty dishes.

Food was fantastic, some amazing flavors and combinations. The wine pairing was perfect and probably the best I’ve had in my travels. The ambiance was very sophisticated, without being stuffy.

I had dinner at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The welcome was correct, without personality. We were placed on the ground floor: for a restaurant boasting of its view, we were disappointed. Especially since another table in a better location (close to a bay window) was available (everything is relative). After request, we were able to change tables. The wait to get the menu was quite long. They preferred to give us the wine list before the menu, which is quite strange... Overall the service was awkward. One of the servers had very in-depth explanations of the dishes, quite technical, but we got lost. As for the food, in summary I would say: fatty and sweet. Despite a menu consisting mainly of fish, poultry and vegetables, I found it quite unbalanced. All the dishes were more sweet than salty, the sauces spoiled the taste of the fish (the perch in particular). Even the dark chocolate for dessert tasted more like super sweet milk chocolate. This may have been a voluntary choice by the chef, but I completely missed it that evening. The butter was a sort of tasteless whipped cream. I would have preferred to find the fat of all the dishes in real good butter. Missed. I ate everything, digestion was heavy and I even thought I was sick. I have had the chance to eat in many Michelin-starred establishments around the world, this one was undoubtedly the least good value for money. Bad day I hope.

Slow service. The first dinner I had in a Michelin restaurant that was 4.5 hours (tasting menu). The pace was uneven and the waitresses look tired. Noisy. The food itself was generally good, but nothing inspiring or exciting.

Fantastic location (table 30) and ditto food. KF Sweetbread and Van Hoof sauces are of unprecedented class!

Loved the food, can’t fault that! The issue for us was that it took 3.5 hours for the tasting menu 6 courses. Very very long waits in between each dish. The food itself was good but the waiting time just too long. Perhaps it was very busy not sure what the issue was but it was never acknowledged and for that level of pricing things like this matter.

Second time I came here, amazing price/quality and surprisingly the owner even recognised me even though it was only my second time here Definitely worth a shot

Wonderful dinner experience on all dimensions. I have visited many Michelin-stared restaurants, MOS was a true delight. A great mix of local, Asian and French cuisine, extremely friendly staff, a comprehensive wine list, and a lot of flexibility to address special wishes and needs. We‘ll be back!!

Très belle découverte avec vue sur la rivière. Très bon accueil et service. Nous avons dégusté le Menu 6 plats, saveurs étonnants, accompagné d'un merveilleux champagne...tout était excellent. Notre repas a coûté quelques minutes à mon mari au TCS Marathon Amsterdam 😄 mais ça valait la peine!

Heerlijke avond gehad. Service boven verwachting, niet teveel, precies op het goede moment. Eten was speciaal en verrassend. Dank voor alles!!

Estuve aquí dos veces, y ambas fueron simplemente espectaculares. Se nota que es un restaurante de lujo, donde la atención de pone en absolutamente en todos los detalles. También hemos organizado eventos del trabajo y se ha cumplido todo según las expectativas.
