I was super hungry and just wanted something hot after travelling all day. Food as cheap as chips literally, and guy at counter really nice. Amazing service and lovely atmosphere too - recommend everyone come here if they’re looking for a quick, inexpensive bite in Amsterdam city centre.

We ordered the famous Dutch fries and chicken nuggets to go with them. The food was delicious. However, the staff weren't very polite and didn't seem very enthusiastic about their work. The prices were a bit high, but I gave the food a perfect score. They didn't let us use the sink to wash our hands, which disappointed us greatly.

They eat with their hands, and on top of that, at a birthday party, they don't even give you a lighter to light the candles, but they were selling lighters... I don't recommend it. The hot dog was plastic and tasteless.

This is a great little place for a simple burger and snacks. We were on a budget at the end of our trip and it was at least 15 euro for a burger anywhere else whereas here was 5.90! Tasted fresh, buns were good and chicken was hot and crunchy, can’t argue with that! One man show taking all the orders, cooking and serving the food by himself so very impressed with how quick we were served. If you’re looking for a quick yummy snack that is budget friendly, this is your place!

Got fries with truffle mayo, guy misheard us and charged us more to give us ketchup and mayo. When we pointed it out he was rude about it and refused to admit he misheard or give us the right sauce. Just go to any other place on that road…

If I could give zero stars I would. They tried to double charge my wife and refused to refund her. When I told them they needed to refund, they told us to leave. They are the worst people I have came across in all of Europe.

There is a person who works here named Jesse . He is extremely rude and unprofessional . He has no manners or work ethic .

Stopped in for ONE large fry with cheese sauce. Clearly stated ONE and this man charged us for two. I paid and asked my husband to confirm when he arrived we were charged for two on the receipt and we were. They handed us one and my husband asked for the second in which he told us “we were good”. When we stated we paid for two he became confrontational and let us know “they were making the second”. Avoid at all costs as they try to take advantage and hope you don’t notice. Ordered one, charged two, delivered one, and only received two because we had to show him our receipt and state they needed to give us the second or refund. Absolute disgrace to the Netherlands.

Tried to scam us out of an extra 15 euro.. EDIT, the guys is a liar in his reply, they were caught red handed and they had to hand over the money, AVOID THIS PLACE. And yes it was definitely your establishment, I even took a picture at the time! 27£ I was charged for 3 fries.. and I wasn't the only ones yous tried it on with that night!

Chicken burgers are so good. This is the only place we ate at in Amsterdam that we went back to again. The man in there is so lovely too and he makes the food fresh. Lovely little seating area too to sit in. Also cold drinks and space cakes. Prices are very reasonable. 10/10 will return when next in Amsterdam 😁

If you are craving fries while in Amsterdam, do yourself a favor and visit Mr. Tom Snackbar. Avoid all the selfie sticks and queues from the fries on Damrak, these are just as good, great price and no waiting in line.

Very mediocre place. The burger was fine but the hotdog tasted almost STALE! The only flavour I got was from the sauces! Maybe things taste nicer after a space cake they sell. The guy is very friendly and tries hard but it does not excuse boring tasteless food. The pretty funny mural on the wall should be the classic where’s the flavour

Small portions and average taste

Worst place to go if you're hungry. Regarding the staff, this is an unfriendly old guy who sends you away the moment you're done eating. You can't even rest and chat with people. There's no restroom, but the prices are the same as there. The worker (the guy) still had to give us leftovers, and he gave me back my money, which contained a fake 10-euro bill. He's taking advantage of people like that. The fries were dry and had too much salt, which made it disgusting. Plus, not to mention, he made us pay twice. We'll never come here again and don't recommend it to anyone.

Great place to get reasonable priced fast food. Fry cones are superb and cooked better than the more popular places that have huge lines. Every time I’ve gone here it’s been a small wait or none at all even though it’s on a fairly busy street. Garlic sauce, peanut sauce and cheese sauce are all the best choices for fries!!
