Addicted to this place everytime I visit the city 😂 its my go to for the fries.

After work, I had a quick bite to eat. The chicken burger was warm, but a bit on the small side. The fries, on the other hand, were excellent.

I visited Mr. Tom Snackbar with friends. The double burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the fries were delicious, and the staff was cheerful and welcoming. Small space, casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick snack or a casual night out in Amsterdam.

Tried to scam us out of an extra 15 euro.. EDIT, the guys is a liar in his reply, they were caught red handed and they had to hand over the money, AVOID THIS PLACE. And yes it was definitely your establishment, I even took a picture at the time! 27£ I was charged for 3 fries.. and I wasn't the only ones yous tried it on with that night!

Chicken burgers are so good. This is the only place we ate at in Amsterdam that we went back to again. The man in there is so lovely too and he makes the food fresh. Lovely little seating area too to sit in. Also cold drinks and space cakes. Prices are very reasonable. 10/10 will return when next in Amsterdam 😁

My family went by for some late-night burgers and fries. They made everything fresh, right in front of us. It was hot and delicious (the fries were fantastic! - sauce on the side). Prices were very reasonable which makes it easy to go back. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You can wash hands in the sink but, no access to a bathroom.

Guri was the best service we’ve ever had! He made us feel so welcome from North America and gave us the high spice level we needed when requested. He was happy to adjust the spice when we said we loooove spicy. He’s awesome

If you are craving fries while in Amsterdam, do yourself a favor and visit Mr. Tom Snackbar. Avoid all the selfie sticks and queues from the fries on Damrak, these are just as good, great price and no waiting in line.

Very mediocre place. The burger was fine but the hotdog tasted almost STALE! The only flavour I got was from the sauces! Maybe things taste nicer after a space cake they sell. The guy is very friendly and tries hard but it does not excuse boring tasteless food. The pretty funny mural on the wall should be the classic where’s the flavour

Worst place to go if you're hungry. Regarding the staff, this is an unfriendly old guy who sends you away the moment you're done eating. You can't even rest and chat with people. There's no restroom, but the prices are the same as there. The worker (the guy) still had to give us leftovers, and he gave me back my money, which contained a fake 10-euro bill. He's taking advantage of people like that. The fries were dry and had too much salt, which made it disgusting. Plus, not to mention, he made us pay twice. We'll never come here again and don't recommend it to anyone.

Great place to get reasonable priced fast food. Fry cones are superb and cooked better than the more popular places that have huge lines. Every time I’ve gone here it’s been a small wait or none at all even though it’s on a fairly busy street. Garlic sauce, peanut sauce and cheese sauce are all the best choices for fries!!

What they're offering is the most dishonorable food I've ever eaten. I was still completely full, but I couldn't even eat it. The hot dog (unfortunately, I didn't take a picture) was thrown in the trash. The cheeseburger was okay, if you take it lightly (very, very lightly).

Clarify how much food costs before coming here. Our bill as advertised on the board should have been 17.50. With a tip and service charge no more than 25.00. We were charged 35.00 and insisted it was right price. Double check everything if you go here 👎

Hello, I was on vacation in Amsterdam with my mother, and on the last day, just before departure, we were looking for something to eat. Mr. Tom's Snackbar is very fast and hospitable! English is spoken well here, and the staff remain friendly even if you don't fully understand them the first time. The price is more than reasonable and definitely worth it. The few burger joints up the street charge €19-25 for a burger. Here, you can get one for as little as €5.50, and a very good one at that! The prices are affordable and totally justified. The service was, as already mentioned, excellent; hospitality and patience were both present. We ordered our food, and it arrived in just a few minutes, even though it was a bit busier. The atmosphere was great, and there's not much more to say. The burgers are VERY good, and they don't skimp on the quality, and the fries are well-made and very tasty. Overall, it's a good restaurant, and I'd happily recommend it!

Way too expensive for the quantity. We ordered a hot dog with extra cheese, which we were charged twice because I quote: "you need 2 slices of cheese for the entire length of the hot dog"... and the hot dog was cold... So yes, the service is fast and the fries are pretty good, but you can also find good ones with more sauce elsewhere.

I had a fricadelle sandwich, served in a hamburger bun with no sauce, no raw vegetables. The cook is not in a good mood!! To flee!!! On the other hand, the price is like 5 stars!!!!

The taste is okay, but it could be better. Unfortunately, the fries were in the deep fryer for too long and were therefore quite hard. But that's probably a matter of taste. Ready-made sauce comes from the bottle - nothing homemade or fresh. Ordered S-French fries with truffle mayo there. Paid a total of €6. The small fries alone cost €4.80 without sauce. But the size is completely sufficient. Unfortunately, the employee seemed extremely listless.

Food was unreal, a great spot to get a snack after visiting some cafe’s of your choice! Chicken burger was off the chart good… and then Mexican chips were banging, a small portion Mexican fries and 2 chicken burgers €20 and you will not walk away unsatisfied. Small shop with chairs and tables to eat in and the wait wasn’t long at all, not like some of the other restaurants we had been to.
