The coffee is really great but I don’t understand why the staff are so unfriendly and rude . I have always left a tip even for a take away and barely even get acknowledged. Today the girls laughed at me when I asked where my order was after waiting 10 minutes for a take away.

After asking kindly for over 12094848 times for 1 pump/pinch of sweetener it seems so hard to intentionally make a coffee. I’ve taking my lost several times as they tend to get busy. Today again they just put whole layer and don’t even care to listen and you are clearly not allowed to request what you pay for. I didn’t wanted to have over the top sweet coffee and I decided to ask this time: Result: gossiping about me with another client and aggressively putting the bottle of sweetener in front of me to do it myself (in shock) They have no willingness to hear anything no matter how delicately I notify the barista upon ordering. No matter how friendly you are…they don’t care. If you are truly happy serving people it’s not a big thing

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, and super kid-friendly. Sometimes a few too many dogs inside, but that's just a personal preference.

Popularly known as a yuppie joint, it has a nice atmosphere. The coffee is good, but for the price, you could buy a whole carton. Very hip, sometimes a little too hip; but I enjoy the spectacle.

We had pain au chocolat, a croissant and a couple of café lattes. The drinks were alright, but I have to say I was a bit let down by the pastries. I was expecting something a bit better, especially the pain au chocolat. It just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The staff didn’t come across as very friendly or cheerful either. Maybe it was just an off day, which can happen, so fair enough. That said, the atmosphere was quite calm and there were a few people working remotely on their laptops. It actually seems like a good spot if you’re looking to work outside your home or have an online meeting, as it was pretty quiet. Overall, it was okay. I might pop back another time, but I do think there’s room for improvement, both in service and food quality.

Banana bread was cold/wet, I think it just came out of the freezer and it was also expensive... too bad

Maybe not used to coffee places prices in Amsterdam but 4,80 eur for a slice of banana cake felt too much. It was nice, but wouldn’t buy again.

Good coffee spot with tasty pastries! Can be a little crowded sometimes depending on the time you get there but it's a super cozy place!

A very decent speciality coffee place with nice desserts and very friendly staff. The seating is a bit 'creative', made in such a way as to preclude you from sitting there too long, except for the long window table where the guys with laptops sit. Yes, laptops are not banned here (as of this date, at least) Perfect place to drop by for a nice cup of coffee

I had a meeting nearby and I stopped for a quick coffee before that. I've never been in this plave before but after 8 years living in Amsterdam I can tell this is one of the most vibrant cafes I've been. The cafe is very modern hipster and the quality of coffee they serve is beyond imagination. What was the biggest surprise was the friendliness of the staff as people who work in cafes/restaurants don't have the best attitude but here you'll feel very welcome and very well taken care of. Also prices are below average for Amsterdam, i paid 3.90€ for a cappuccino with oat milk. Definitely worths a visit and I'll definitely come back. Thank you so much for great service and coffee 🙏🏼

I love the jazz music and service but it can get very loud (due to echo). And please - fix the chair situation. Chairs are extremely uncomfortable :(

It is not worth it, not at all. The carrot loaf was tasteless, I did not finish. It was really terrible. The topping is the worst I have had in a long time, normally it is usually nice, but in this case, it was like eating air. Tasteless. The cake was cakey, not spongy. The coffee is aceptable, that is all. Nothing significant about it. So dissapointed.

Another example of great Dutch service: I waited 15 minutes for a glass of tea… Looks hipster and cool but with this kind of service I don’t think I’ll ever come here again.

coffee and pastries are nice but the red smoothie i ordered tasted very watery, like apple juice, and I really doubt there was hennep protein in there

I didn’t really like the flat white and hot chocolate, but the matcha latte was just perfect. I also enjoyed the brownie, and my daughter loved the lemon cake. We were pleasantly surprised that the café has a children’s corner with toys and drawing supplies. It’s very cozy inside.

Since my previous review, the service has improved significantly 👍🏼 The coffee is good and so is the atmosphere.

The coffee was quite average. I ordered a latte, expecting a balanced mix of bitterness and sourness from the coffee with the creaminess of milk, but I was disappointed. It tasted like something I could easily make at home. As for the desserts, they were just okay. I tried the lemon cake, which was overly sweet, and I couldn’t really enjoy the flavor—though it wasn’t terrible, just not memorable. The atmosphere outside is also less than ideal. The seating is on the pavement, and there’s a constant flow of people walking by, which doesn’t create a very relaxing vibe for enjoying a coffee.

I’m trying cinnamon buns/rolls all over Amsterdam, and so far this is the best one! Pleasantly surprised:)

Well organized coffee spot. All chairs (including kids size) are moveable and you can grap and seat everywhere which is very convenient in a small but busy location. Pastry menu is a bit limited.

What is this ? All the coffee was with a coffee art and I ordered a flat white that looks like a machine coffee and tasted really bad ! This cafe is going downhill

Wow their coffee and banana bread is tasty, but what unfriendly, uninterested people behind the bar. My order was forgotten and the only response was a grumpy 'Oh'. What an unnecessarily arrogant and unkind service. Train your staff a bit, you work in service!

Highly recommend this place for a coffee and a snack. Atmosphere is great: they've got a great selection of natural wines (natuurwijnen) and plants all over the place. The coffee was nice; I had an oat cappuccino and my friend had a flat white. Beans were from Five Ways. I also had a fresh croissant which was very buttery. Would come back here. Despite other reviews I've read, the girls helping us were friendly.

This place is awesome. Great coffee and atmosphere. Everyone working here is awesome. Especially Elsie & Lotti. Yoga and callisthenics probably helps them keep their cool when it gets busy. Those two really make the world a better place

Super lekkere koffie en pastries (bestel de kaascroissant of het bananenbrood!!!). Het personeel laat je thuis voelen: van alle vaste gasten weten ze de naam en hun vaste bestelling en ze zijn altijd in voor een gezellig praatje. De bankjes voor de deur zijn op zonnige dagen de beste plek om je dag te beginnen maar ook binnen is het lekker zitten (en werken!) 🧡

Coffee is fine BUT service is terrible. Very slow, unfriendly and forgot my order (no apologies). The lady was clearly overworked and stressed out. Such a shame.
