I had Doner Kapsalon today. I had it there, and it was delicious. You can tell they prioritize hospitality. They give you a warm welcome and chat with you right away.

It's a shame they deliver by car and end up stuck in traffic. I had to wait unnecessarily long for my food, over an hour, and the food wasn't really warm anymore, more like lukewarm. The taste of the food... wow, I've never had such a delicious kapsalon. You won't go hungry anytime soon, what a huge portion! I honestly couldn't finish it all. It was also beautifully presented and prepared with care. Time for a kapsalon mini to add to the menu; I've had to throw away quite a bit of food because we couldn't finish it all. The garlic sauce was also very tasty, by the way. Tip... buy electric bikes for delivery so you don't get stuck in traffic; it's such a waste.

If you're hungry, this is a great place. Prices are a bit higher than average, but you get so much more for your money. I've never had such a huge Turkish pizza. I'm a big guy, but the last few bites were a real struggle, and after that, I could barely walk, haha. The quality of the meat is good (especially the chicken), and everything is fresh. The service is excellent, and I even got a behind-the-scenes tour. The only downside is the atmosphere, which doesn't deserve 5 stars because, well, the decor could be a bit nicer, but whatever.

I haven't been here in a while, but I'm going to get a good kapsalon soon. Best place for döner in the city center, in my opinion. For years, I've often ordered kapsalon and dürums here late in the evening with friends, and they were always well stocked. Definitely recommended!

(Turkish review below) I do not recommend this place at all. From the moment we entered, we were met with an unpleasant attitude. The chicken döner wrap we ordered was unhygienic; almost 90% of the meat was skin only, the portion was extremely small, and the bread was served stuck to the aluminum foil. When we pointed this out, it was ignored, and the subject was shifted elsewhere. The restroom was out of order, so there was no place to wash our hands, and not even tissues were provided. On top of that, the attitude was very rude. I truly would not want anyone else to go through the same experience. I must also point out that many of the five-star reviews appear to have been written under pressure. I definitely do not recommend it. One of the kindest people I've met in the city, I'm a student who came to Utrecht a few days ago, and I was short around 1 euro to pay but he still gave me the food and even asked if I wanted extra, honestly made my heart feel so full with kindness. Thank you v much 🙏

Run by Musa, a local from Ankara, it's a place you could call a "plenty of scoops." Our Kapsalon order was prepared during a pleasant conversation, and it was a very filling portion. The price-performance ratio is very attractive. The drinks are also varied; be sure to try the Fernandos. Well done, Musa, for your efforts.

I was working as delivery rider a couple of years ago and I had to pick up an order from this restaurant, the guy working asked me for my phone, I asked him why, then he began been rude, but I gave him the phone expecting he will be more calm. After 1 minute he gave me back my phone and I noticed he has wrote down a 5 starts review about this place.

Please note: a monster cheeseburger is not a large cheeseburger. It is a normal cheeseburger with half a liter of monster. It would be useful to mention this in the description. Furthermore, it is a really great place and I have been ordering döner here for years. But this is slightly misleading, just mention it for customers who are very hungry and do not feel like one half liter of monster!

I had a very disappointing experience at this doner shop. I stopped by for lunch and ordered a dürüm, but the food was terrible. It was barely warm—clearly made with cold meat that seemed like it had just come out of the fridge. Doner is supposed to be fresh, but this was far from it. To make matters worse, the man preparing the food, who appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old, was extremely rude and dismissive. There was no sense of customer service at all. Shortly after eating, I started to feel unwell and suspect the food may have caused mild food poisoning. I cannot recommend this place to anyone—definitely a spot to avoid. What nonsense are you writing? It’s obvious you have many dissatisfied customers, all complaining about being sold frozen food, according to your own words. I have only been to that shop once, and that was a long time ago. You don’t even know when I came, so stop deflecting. Try to correct your behavior and stop selling frozen food to people.

Came by yesterday and ordered 2 hair salons (36 euros!). The owner mentioned that Sneijder regularly ordered food from their business. Unfortunately the food was disappointing, we both had stomach ache and diarrhea... first and last time...

Lamentablemente, el comportamiento del anciano fue realmente irritante e irrespetuoso. Fue grosero, descortés, e incluso asustó mucho a mi pequeña hija solo porque tocaba las servilletas. Nunca volveremos a ir allí. El joven estaba bien, pero no pudo detener al viejo de ser grosero y descortés.

Our family of 4 just had dinner, 2x kapsalon lamb shawarma and 1 donner box lamb shared by the children, which was nice. But once we were eating, the table was kept being cleared and cleaned, which meant that you could do anything but eat in a relaxed manner and you felt very rushed. The food was really great, the first 3 bites, after that there were actually more of the 5 of us than with our family. In terms of bill and price, opinions also differ. (kapsalon lamb 15.49 2x donner box lamb 9.99 1x & a can of 3eu excl. deposit) makes 44.15 incl. deposit. But still paid 45+. It's not about the money, it's about the principle. I didn't know how quickly I had to leave. So my husband stayed behind to pay, but no, never to see us here again, even though the food was good. No. We got the hint. Relaxing and enjoying the food does not belong here. So 3 stars for the food. Which certainly could have been more, but just leave the customer alone and the table too while they are eating. It was around 8 p.m., you don't close until 10 p.m. Don't be afraid that they will stay at the table for at least 2 hours and that you will not be home in time.

Ugh, I found the food here absolutely terrible. The positive reviews were probably bought, or written by people with no taste or who’ve never had real quality food. The prices are ridiculously high for what you get.

The owner asked us to write a review — here it is. During our visit, the owner's attitude was particularly striking. He made several comments about Turkish tourists from Turkey asking for a damp cloth to clean their hands. Instead of approaching this in a friendly manner, he turned this into a story that the matter had to be dealt with “on the other side”. We didn't find the way he said this funny and even a bit humiliating. The conversation felt awkward and lacking in substance — we dropped out halfway through. Regarding the prices: we paid €40.95 for three dürüm döner, a portion of fries with mayo and satay sauce, and two drinks. We thought that was on the high side. When paying, the owner himself indicated that Germans often complain about the drink prices. When we saw that the drinks started from €3.50, we understood those comments. The owner tries to have a chat and initially seems friendly, but the conversation quickly went in all directions and was often quite incoherent. The dürüms were quite filling, but therefore a bit difficult to eat. The döner itself tasted like many places in the Netherlands — quite standard, probably from the factory. In Rotterdam I ate better, fresher döner for less money (such as yaprak döner). Finally: we found it shocking and unnecessary that the owner also spoke negatively and disparagingly about people from the Turkish city of Kahramanmaraş. We know many people from that city and have very different, positive experiences with them. In our opinion, such generalizing and insulting statements absolutely do not belong in a catering business. As far as we are concerned, this man is not only inhospitable, but his behavior reflects nationalistic and racist ideas. That makes the whole experience very unpleasant. All in all we thought it was a waste of money and time: quite expensive for what you get, and the atmosphere was seriously disturbed by the owner's attitude.

Unfortunately, the behavior of the older man there was really irritating and disrespectful. He was rude, impolite, and even scared my little daughter a lot just because she touched the napkins. We will never go there again. The younger man was ok but could not stop the old man of being rude and impolite.
