This is nice indian restaurant 👌Quality of food is very good.Butter chicken and Saag panner is my favorite.

I was very hyped to order from this restaurant after seeing the reviews but unfortunately a few hairs came out of the same dish… I’m very disappointed. Update at 3:58 am: my boyfriend who had the mixed grill woke up with heavy stomach cramps and had very bad diarrhea. So not only did my chicken tikka masala have a few strand of hairs in it, but even worse my boyfriend who had the other dish is having food poisoning.

I’ve ordered food a hundred times, and still every time I think it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever tried.

Delicious and very rich in flavour! The naan and Shahi Paneer are amazing!

Their chicken Madrasi is a disappointment. It lacks flavour and the chicken is definitely not fresh. It was very chewy and overdone. The tandoori roti was underdone. I do not recommend ordering from this place.

The food was incredibly delicious and varied, with generous portions for a good price/quality ratio. The friendly, helpful (in terms of selection), and quick service make it a pleasant experience. The service is not at all pushy or "comes across" as being pushy, creating a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere (evening). I could spend an afternoon on the terrace here just for the naan breads (all varieties). Very worthwhile and definitely worth a visit. NAMASTE By the way, a lovely, beautiful, and original menu list/book.

Good Indian food but expensive and less quantity. Pick the naan over the rice if you want a more filling experience. Also service charge of 1 euro for tap water which idk if it’s normal or not.

AND AGAIN! Just like every time before, Namaste India knock it out of the park with an insanely delicious Biryani. Literally never had a bad order from here. Perfect consistency. Never change

Went in 2022, the place and food was awesome, now we came back in august 2025, and the taste is still the best i’ve ever had in amsterdam 🥹 writing this while sitting here coz i am soo happy afterall the food, the biryani omg, and their speciality palak paneer aaaaaah mouth drooling 🤭❤️ plz just go there, dont forget to taste their chai 🥹❤️ will come here again soon insha allah.

We had another delicious Indian meal. They might rely on takeout, but you can also eat in. It has a fantastic neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. We've been there about four times in the last six months. They never disappoint. Last time, we ate on the patio. We were the only ones there for a while. When we were almost finished, the neighbor came to pick up our food for the first time. I suspect he'll be eating there more often now.

Dinner for 4 people can be booked through the "The Fork" app, with a corresponding discount. Delicious food, excellent service, and a great price. We'll be back.

We ordered on thuisbezorgd and loved it! Not at all oily like other Indian places in Amsterdam. Warning: “spicy” is proper hot!

We ordered via thuisbezorgd to the wrong house number, I later found out that my phone was also empty so I was also unreachable. The order was returned to the restaurant. After a phone call Namaste made the order again for us and delivered it very quickly and the food was delicious. What a service that they solved this for us. I can recommend everyone to order from Namaste, really delicious food.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Amsterdam. Their Baingan Bartha is to die for and so is their Chicken Kadai. Their prices are comfortable too.

Walked by and got takeaway. Service was welcoming, friendly and attentive, even as we just waited for our order. Walked back to our hotel and were delighted. Fresh, spicy and wonderful flavors. Had the (yellow) Dal mix with Naan, chicken tikka app & samosas. We will sleep happy tonight!

Visited Namaste India because the more popular Tulsi was closed. And what a pleasant surprise it was! The owner was very courteous, gave good recommendations, and customised food for us: the curries were Indian spicy (not Dutch spicy), the roti and naan were well cooked and crisp. Overall we enjoyed a thoroughly delicious Indian meal.

Ik heb besteld online en via Uber eat ging het even lastig. Toch vol vertrouwen geleverd en later betalen. Het eten was echt echt echt heerlijk voor al de Saag met aardappel. Vega Heerlijk gekruid en vers. Beste in Amsterdam Amstelveen ❤️

My pregnant self ordered on thuisbezorgd 15 mins before closing and they still managed to deliver fast and fresh. The Shahi Paneer was amazing, not too sweet and not too oily like many other places. I really like how you can customize the spice level as medium is a decent safe level. The lamb Jogan Rosh was also fantastic. Will come back!

Based on the very good reviews both here on Google and on Uber Eats, we decided to order from this restaurant. We have tried many Indian restaurants but this was by far the worst we have ever eaten. The food was simply inedible. I found the service particularly disappointing: When I called the restaurant because the cutlery had been forgotten, I was told that I hadn't requested cutlery when ordering via Uber Eats. However, my husband had carefully checked that everything was correct before sending the order. My conclusion: I will definitely not order here again. The food wasn't tasty at all. 😕

Succulent restaurant, plentiful with a reasonable price, there is even a ramp for the armchairs, the only downside is the size of the restaurant which is very small and as a result it quickly becomes noisy, advice to eat on the outside tables. Otherwise it’s really a great address

I’ve ordered Butter Chicken and that came with a huge quantity of food. I would recommend sharing one plate, is enough for 2 people but I ordered 2 hahahaha. The food came very fast and it was so delicious and flavored that I almost finished in 10 minutes 🤣🤣. 5 stars, superb!!

The food is very good and not very expensive. Very good service. I will be back soon I recently returned and loved the food again 10/10. Vergeleken met andere Indiase restaurants hier in Amsterdam viel Namaste een beetje tegen, ik vond mijn curry een weinig smaak hebben, erg vlak. Volgende keer weer naar een ander.

Food is well made, meat is tender. Unfortunately not refined, large pieces of meat, flat flavors. Biryani even lacks enough salt, as does the naan. If you don't know Indian cuisine, the food is OK. Owner is Surinam Express. Surinamese Hindustani who pretends to be Indian? Indian dishes are a bit more difficult.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and glad we did. They serve halal meat; quantity and portion sizes are just right. Service very good. Full bar as well.

Avoid this place. People simply sneeze into the food on purpose. Was there to pick up and heard someone in the kitchen sneezing loudly and the man at the cash register laughing and then a conversation followed between the two men in the kitchen and the man at the cash register, after which 3 more loud sneezes followed and even more laughter. Disgusting!! Please avoid

I ordered biryani that was so tasteless, the rice does not have any flavour and for spicy they’ve only added green chillies. No taste in biryani rice at all and chicken pieces was too hard to chew.

Ordered food online and received the wrong order, Namaste India didn't want to compensate for anything, so lost the money.

The mango lassi seems to have a pinch of salt I think which I usually have sweeter. It’s a small place but we went twice and had space. The food was NOT expensive and the service was super nice truly everything was A1.

Wish i spent my money elsewhere. No flavor. Not authentic. Expensive. Food is tasteless. The naan was fake. We ordered a vindaloo and a rogan josh and both looked and tasted the same. No sign of spices and no texture. We asked for “extremely spicy” for the vindaloo but it was weak.

I ordered food here for the first time.. it arrived on time and hot!! My Turkish brother thought it tasted just as good... it's about the Butter chicken (rice) and tikka masala chicken (Naan bread)... really great, keep it up!!👍

Very tasty Indian food and hygienic place! Service could be better though. To take away was not easy (he also mixed the 2 curry’s😂) and some awkward confusion about the bill (because he didn’t check their own system)

I ordered quite some times with Thuisbezorgd, chicken tandoori, chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka massala, very tasty dishes, reasonable delivery times and very abundant portions! I usually only eat half and eat the rest the next day given how big the portions are. Highly recommend if you are looking for some tasty comfort food

Had dinner at Namastr India on Boxing Day. It was a pleasant day, but above all the food was very tasty. The owner ran the whole place and he was very open and easy to approach. He had an eye for quality and service. What was even more fun was having his young kids there. In short, a hardworking family. I'll definitely visit again. My meal was the complimentary paperdam with green mint sauce and the chicken madras as a main course, which was deliciously spicy. My table companion's shrimp arrived hot and was still sizzling.

Good food and good service. I would recommend. It’s not ideal that they prepare the takeaway food in the restaurant area. As they are charging full restaurant prices maybe it could help with the atmosphere to do that in a different area. Other than that a good choice if you are looking for a curry and a beer.

My daughter was performing in Amstel theatre and came upon this restaurant. Our lucky evening. Beautiful little restaurant were we were made feel so welcome by owner. Food was delicious as was the presentation. We loved it great experience. Owner was so proud of his restaurant. Can't recommend enough. Prices were very good for quality of food.

It took a little bit long for us to be placed at a table but the waiter was super nice and also we were first outside but it started slightly raining and they helped us move our stuff inside to a really nice table. The fold was excellent and arrived very fast, the interior of the place is nicely decorated.

My favourite Restaurant in Amsterdam

Het eten was oké. Niet bijzonder lekker, niet vies. Gewoon oké. Een heleboel dingen van de kaart waren niet beschikbaar, maar hier kwam je pas achter op het moment dat je het wilde bestellen. Erg irritant. Ook was het erg koud in het restaurant.

We had a lovely meal here. The curry was particularly delicious. I could taste the fresh lemon grass and corriander

Ik kan kort zijn over Namaste. Het is een middle of the road (middelmatig klinkt te negatief) Indiaas restaurant. Niet slecht en niet erg goed. Eigenlijk iets voor een dagje door de week. De Balti-gerechten zijn zeker smakelijk. Zelf had ik lams Balti. Balti schijnt een soort bereidingswijze te zijn en is ineens erg populair bij de Indiase restaurants in Amsterdam. Voorheen kwam ik ze nooit tegen op de kaart maar de laatste jaren heeft ieder zichzelf respecterend restaurant wel enkele Balti gerechten op het menu staan. Leuk om te weten: de prijzen liggen bij Namste een fractie lager dan in de meeste andere indiase restaurants.

En primer lugar, si vas a comer, mira el menú de comida rápida en línea. Lo mejor es pedir un menú fijo que sale mucho más barato. Conseguimos la comida vegetariana y solo nos cobraron 6 euros más para comer dentro. La comida es muy sabrosa
