The food was out of this world! The momo in chilli was delicious; smoky with just the right amount of heat. The Sekuwa chicken was flavoursome with a beautiful chutney; coleslaw pickle and the garlic naan to mop up the momo sauce. Thanks guys!

We ordered buffalo fried pan with sesame sauce and chicken fried pan with tomato sauce. Everything was fabulous, delicious, and incredibly flavorful! A real treat for the taste buds. Superb service as well.

Namche is a must visit in Amsterdam - the jhol momos were delicious - probably some of the best we have ever had. We also tried the dal makhani and garlic naan which were delicious and fresh as well - the garlic naan was light and crispy - perfect!! Special shoutout for the cocktails as well - they use Nepalese Khukri Spiced rum infused with chilli - which added a unique and one of a kind flair to the drinks. The service was amazing and kind as well! Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

They got the best staff in all of amsterdam!!! We had Shrey serve us and he was super chill yet attentive. He really knows how to strike up a conversation and smoothly cater to you without it feeling overwhelming. What an experience!

What a wonderful evening I had here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is exactly what you are looking for for a cozy dinner, especially with that atmospheric red lighting on the table. The food was truly fantastic. The dishes looked beautiful on the blue plates and tasted even better than they looked. The combination with the fresh lemon wedges, in particular, made it complete. We really enjoyed every bite and the entire experience. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for a nice place to eat.

The food was excellent, the staff were very kind and efficient and the overall atmosphere was really great. I would definitely recommend Namche for similarly large groups. Good Indian food in the center of Amsterdam. Most restaurants are tourist traps here. Not this one.

Had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely delicious and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. What stood out the most was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are this good. I highly recommend it and would happily come back the next time I’m in Amsterdam.

We were really craving Indian food and left the restaurant full and extremely satisfied. The waiters were friendly and genuine, and we had a great time. My only criticism: I ordered chow mein, and the menu showed a chili pepper on it – the dish itself wasn't spicy. However, upon request, I received chili oil, which provided just the right amount of pleasant heat. 👍 Truly a top-notch restaurant, almost a hidden gem! 🏆 Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 (We had to ask for tap water a second time) Location: 8/10 (not too far from the "Leidseplein" tram stop) Atmosphere: 8/10 with nice Indian touches, but nothing spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for something other than pasta, pizza, or burgers. 👍

After a day around amsterdam , had a relaxing dinner . Speciality is definitely momos and we tried chilli momo .

The meal was fantastic. We had wonderful recommendations from our wait staff. A couple of the dishes we ordered never made it to the table. We had to remind our waiter. Other than that, great all-around experience.

We had an amazing time! Perfect food and amazing service. The owner was such a warm person, will definitely come back!

My girlfriend and I had an incredibly delicious meal at Namche! We chose the Namche dal bhat - lamb and chicken. For starters, we had delicious Papadum and Chicken tikka. The portions were nice and generous, very well seasoned, and all the ingredients were spot on and clearly fresh. The staff is very nice and attentive. The only thing I regret is not discovering this restaurant much sooner! A keeper!

This was easily the best food I ate during my entire visit to Amsterdam. From the lassis to the chowmein, everything was an absolutely delight. The staff, also, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and efficient. I would happily go back here. However, I cannot in good conscience leave a five-star review, as free tap water is not offered there. Given that my bill came out to 200€, I feel that I should be entitled to a glass tap water with my meal (and the still water was very clearly tap water that had been left in the fridge).

Food is okayish. Scope for improvement. Service is pathetic. One of the worst I have seen ever. The server just hands you the plate. Doesn't pay attention. No hospitality. Very disrespectful. When I asked to pack the leftover food, I was given a container and told to do it by myself. I had never experienced this in a restaurant.

Decent restaurant with nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. My wife enjoyed her lamb spinach dish and my vegetarian lentil dish had a good range of spices but lacked base in the taste, so I wouldn't recommend it - it left me a little underwhelmed. The second lentil dish (with butter) may be a more tasty option for vegetarians. One tip for wait staff - it's great you're friendly but it's also nice to say "thanks" when we add a nearly 8 euro tip. Otherwise I regret giving the tip if you don't appreciate it!

Really enjoyed this place. It's based in a neighborhood I would consider to be very touristy, but it is not a touristic place. The food variety is amazing and it was awesome getting an introduction to Nepalese cuisine. We tried the steamed dumplings in sesame sauce which was delicious. I then ordered the tandoori with puffed rice which was so unique! As well as the curry with all the sides and lentils. It was delicious. Sad that I couldn't fit dessert into my tummy, but we will be back!

Seasoned masterfully! Tasted very authentic and had a cozy, warm and authentic aesthetic. The servers were polite and nice. I also tried the Nepalese crème brûlée version, nothing too special except for the custard, which was probably made with some type of grain/oatmeal due to its thick consistency. The tikka masala and butter chicken were just as amazing as I expected.

We dined at Namche and enjoyed the entire experience, the food is delicious, the hot green chili chutney, the garlic naan very good flavors we had the Chili Momo (super, a must order), Dhal Tadka, and Lamb Curry, and more... Everything was delicious. I had the chili infused rum from the Himalayan, they make their version of a Dark and Stormy (rum & ginger beer) and it is fantastic! The run is called Khukri, you have to try this. We were taken care of Bobita the moment we entered the restaurant until we left, she is a superstar and a joy to talk with, fun, knowledgeable you can't miss her if you dine at Namche. Thank you to the entire team, we will be back when back in Amsterdam 🤗

Despite us showing up with no booking, they still fitted us in immediately. So definitely pre-book to avoid disappointment. Food and drinks were excellent. I recommend the Samosas and my partner said it was the best chicken tikka masala he has ever had. Try the mango lassi also. We didn't take any photos sadly, but we couldn't wait to start it looked that good.
