New York Pizza in Prins Alexander

I'm so disappointed with this company. They're criminals of the lowest order, this is how a large corporation leaves its customers in the lurch. On November 24th, I ordered a pizza through the New York Pizza website and paid immediately with iDEAL. I live in Krimpen aan den IJssel, so you can assume the website automatically selects the correct branch. However, the order was placed with the Rotterdam De Grote Beer branch. About twenty minutes later, I received a call from this branch, stating that my address was outside their delivery area and that they therefore had to cancel the order. I was also told I had to place the order again with the Krimpen aan den IJssel branch. During this call, I asked how I could get a refund, but the branch couldn't help me. Therefore, I submitted a question/complaint through the website on November 27th, but to date, I haven't received a response. Since the order was canceled by New York Pizza itself, I find it strange that I now have to chase my own money. After three emails with customer service, the contact was suddenly terminated. An employee, Jorn, indicated that my complaint would be forwarded to the franchisee, who would then contact me. It's now December 19th, and I still haven't heard anything. Because New York Pizza canceled the order itself, I have no proof that it wasn't delivered. The lack of a cancellation confirmation therefore places the customer in a powerless position. And because it's "only" €34, legal authorities don't consider it worthwhile to take further action. As an ordinary citizen who doesn't have much money and has to save to treat the kids to pizza once a month, this feels incredibly powerless. I find it unacceptable that a company of this size treats its customers this way. I hope New York Pizza has a Merry Christmas with this amount, but for me this is enough reason to avoid this rogue company in the future.

The pizza was so sparse in terms of toppings. Delivery also took ages. I called several times, and the answer was "it's on its way." Never again.

I ordered a pizza at 4:30 PM, but it wasn't delivered until 7:00 PM. When it finally arrived, it was ice cold. I was also told you called me and even showed up at the door. This isn't true. I waited by the kitchen window the entire time, and no one rang the doorbell or showed up at the door. The only call I received was 10 minutes after I placed my order—even though you can usually prepare and deliver within 10 minutes. I'm very disappointed that the information was incorrect and that the order arrived so late and cold.

I am absolutely NOT satisfied with the service at New York Pizza. First, I had to wait 15 minutes for my pizza, even though it wasn't busy at all. When I finally went to pay, there was no debit card reader, and I had to wait another 20 minutes for a delivery driver to return with one. This is absolutely unacceptable. Making a customer wait this long, both for their food and for payment, is unprofessional and extremely frustrating. I won't be repeating this.

I had a delicious meal: I was craving pizza and dessert today, and it was delivered within 30 minutes. Everything was perfect, including the delicious lava cake dessert. Thank you all for the excellent service and delivery of my pizza and dessert. Great teamwork!

There are two small tables inside the delivery area.

Something always goes wrong. Sometimes the pizza is inedible, other times something is forgotten, or the order arrives far too late. It seems like there's absolutely no control over the organization. Very poorly organized, and quality or service are clearly not a priority. Absolutely not recommended!

I called today to order a pizza, and the employee on the phone didn't know how to handle an order. The employee hung up on me without taking my order. I called again, and the guy did the same thing.

Last week I ordered three pizzas and never received them. After over an hour, I had to pick them up myself. They were soggy, wet, and cold. After I told her I didn't want them, the girl said yes, but we're not making new ones. When I asked for a refund, she said, "That's not possible, only the franchisee can do that." But I can't reach them. After calling several times and sending emails with complaints, I got my money back after a week and a half, but no apology. This clearly shows that this company exists to make money, not to help its customers. Next time, we'll go to Domino's.

Waited 75 minutes for an order, called and they said it hadn't left yet. I understand that it can take longer, but this is exaggerated.

2 times they forgot the sauce for the gyros pizza, that sauce is a essential piece of the taste of the pizza, when i call them i get a rather unfriendly person on the phone that says complaints can be done via email, she did not even care to offer to bring the sauce, so for me no more new york pizza the deliverer was not at fault and even wanted to return her tip,

Crappy place! Vegetarian pizza with meat on it! While I had ordered a vegetarian pizza. Walked to this place with the delivered pizza and then deny that it was meat but onion! No money back! Highly discouraged to order from here!

Another bad order, you should leave this company far behind you, unfriendly staff and nothing to eat, burnt pizzas They say yes, you can get a new one, money back, but 4 times now that I have called to complain, something is always wrong, they would kick the staff out and start over, what a mess, the manager who thinks he is the big boss of New York pizzas himself HHahahah As in the photo, this is a delicious shoarma pizza from New York!!! I ordered several times, always late, after 2 hours. If someone wants to eat something quickly, it's not from them. It's strange that this place is still operating.

Very disappointed in the service. Ordered at 10pm, but still no pizza at 11pm. Called, but apparently no delivery people available anymore. To make matters worse, never received a pizza. Definitely not recommended!

Quality fluctuates enormously here, sometimes good, often bad, now again, pizza ordered for 6, half past 7 still nothing, called, they can't answer the phone but the delivery person was on his way. 20 minutes later he was there, the pizza was not only very poorly topped, but also cold, so you had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for it. This is the pizza you get for €14.99. Chosen for 25cm thick base downtown doner pizza. Pizza crusts are hard to eat (hard and burnt). Soil very thin and burnt. Not worth a star.

Pizza reasonable, expected more. But what bothers me most is how dirty the company clothing, especially the delivery man's jacket, looks. Filthy unwashed looked like it hasn't been washed in ages

Very bad service. We are being ripped off by the staff. We come with 2 different vouchers that my children received from school and swimming lessons - 1 mini pizza and 1 pizza. The staff first starts arguing that they cannot use 2 vouchers, that is all 2 for mini children's pizza margherita. This is not stated anywhere on the vouchers. We had no other choice and took 2 minutes with us. Children were disappointed. Very bad company.

Delivery drivers regularly go missing, take hours to deliver and the management in the business does not know what they are up to. They regularly arrive an hour or two late with your food, after having had this experience a number of times, they have not ordered again for a very long time. Tried again but it's still the same. You'd think they'd fire staff like that, right? Very unfortunate, this place used to be very fast and the food was always hot.

Ordered 1 pizza, waited over 2.5 hours and then closed so no pizza. Money debited and all.

Food ordered took an hour max. Called an hour later and was told he was on his way. Called again 10 minutes later and said he was still on his way and would take 10 minutes. What a bad thing. Wouldn't order here if you want something to eat on time. So maybe 1.5 hours later? So they lie!

I found the pizzas mediocre, little spinach, little taste and dry. It took 35 minutes for it to arrive. Then it is less warm. Too bad, hopefully better and faster next time.

I have a very bad experience with New York pizza. I ordered a shawarma pizza and received approximately 1 to 3 small pieces of shawarma per slice. Paid almost 17 euros and filed a complaint, they don't even respond.

Very sad! Poor dining place and delivery was made after about 2 hours of ordering by telephone. But the pizzas were delivered cold. We called twice and the first time, the food was already on its way. Strange to hear that after having waited another half hour for the second phone call, the food will only be delivered “now”. Then you would say that the pizzas would be delivered to your home nice and warm. Delivered iced and ice cold and didn't want to call again for the 3rd time. Because the answer was not kind and admitting the blame, whatever. Blame it on January 1st and the fact that it was very busy. But I will never order from them again!

The pizza had a poor amount of ingredients and was very greasy, I don’t recommend it! :/

What scammers, pizzas delivered 5 pieces 2 hours early. Calling was no problem, we make new ones, but 2 hours later the warmed up burnt pizzas are almost thrown in by the delivery person.

Never had any problems with ordering regardless of the review, but tonight they did it well again, stealing on a Monday evening and having to wait 1:30 hours for 2 pizzas and then also cold on arrival, this is great

I customize my order but I always get the same thing. The video shows: Zwarte Truffel Pizza (25 on cauliflower crust) with crème fraiche instead of tomato sauce, chili flakes, extra champignon. Total came out to be €15.44 and I am very satisfied. The pizza always arrives within the window that they say it will arrive and my pizza is always still hot and always tastes delicious 💯 I love how they put the garlic oil on the crust 😍

They don’t take their job seriously, they just put the pizza in the oven or microwave & then they just forget about it. Here is the result: the pizza turns out burned. Also if you order the thin healthy version of the dough, it turns out to be as hard as a rock because again, it burned. I wonder if they check the pizza before packing & I wonder if they taste the pizza’s themselves. I also found a hair in one of the pizza’s it’s very disgusting I don’t think they even care about their business. They are most likely not doing very well financially. Usually places that doesn’t make much money, they don’t present their food well. If they present their food well & without hair & not forget to add ingredients on certain pizzas, then they would gain customers. This is for Groote beer branch in Rotterdam I also filed a complaint with a picture & I got no response. I don’t care if they respond it’s their choice whether or not to lose customers. I don’t mind if they are late or not, honestly it doesn’t matter because so many orders especially on weekends that’s very understandable so no complaint about delivery time but I care about the Quality & I’m pretty sure everyone cares about the quality of what they deliver in other words the product. So you can order a dry as rock burnt pizza from this place. It’s the best you’ll get. Save your money order at other places. It’s not “the dough” as it says on the box it’s a piece of rock

Pizza erg lekker. Maar toch teleur gesteld. Ik had twee maal de chocolade mouse besteld. Bij levering kreeg ik te horen dat de chocolade mouse op was. Maar ter compensatie 2 koeken gekregen. Wat ik totaal niet lust zonder enig overleg of mij even te bellen . Ik vind het erg zonde van mijn geld. Volgende keer even overleggen met de klant.

Dikke shout out naar NewYork Pizza. Ik had nachos besteld en totaal vergeten te zeggen dat ik niet tegen pepers kan. Gebeld, uitgelegd en helaas kruiste mijn telefoontje de bezorger. Hij werd gebeld toen hij bij mij was. De order werd terug meegenomen en ik kreeg andere nachos. Top en heerlijk zoals altijd!

Al de tweede keer dat ik hier bestel en dat het zonder drinken en sausjes is bezorgd.

Al jarenlang klant bij New York Pizza Grote Beer Rotterdam. Op de laatste bestellingen moest ik meer dan 1 uur wachten. Pizza’s waren dus al koud en hard. Bij telefonisch contact werd er eerst niet opgenomen, vervolgens verbinding verbroken en bij de derde poging werd ik onbeschoft behandeld. Geen respect voor klanten. Bij deze vestiging bestellen wij dus niet meer. Hier valt nog veel te leren door de franchisenemer. Algemene review achtergelaten met verzoek om klacht op te nemen met vestiging. Daar heb ik dus geen zin in na deze slechte ervaring.

Ondanks de grote drukte ivm wk wedstrijd Nederland-Ecuador toch redelijk op tijd. En de pizza was zoals altijd heerlijk!

Goed lopende zaak Ik woonde toevallig boven en Petje af voor alle personeel die daar werkt en hoe hoort er elke dag gewerkt wordt zeker de moeite waard om hier een pizza te komen bestellen dus

Persoonlijk vind ik deze pizza's beter en smakelijker dan die van domino's, waar ze allemaal ongeveer hetzelfde smaken. Je wordt aan de balie ook sneller geholpen. Prijzen zijn ongeveer gelijk.

Ik bestel hier regelmatig pizza's. Het zijn heerlijke pizza's, snel (warm) bezorgd en niet extreem duur.

Pizzas zijn altijd goed hier. Bezorging en service ook dikke prima.

Vriendelijke mensen snelle bezorging.

Zeer vriendelijk, gaat er iets verkeerd wordt dit snel en professioneel opgelost.

Twee pizza's besteld om 17:30. Kreeg mijn bestelling pas om 19:00 en ook nog is 1 van de pizza's fout en koud. Gebeld en gratis nieuwe gekregen, heeft een 1,5 uur geduurd voordat ik de nieuwe had. Slechte bezorging die avond.

In het verleden veel problemen gehad met de vestiging de grote beer. Maar sinds er een nieuwe filiaal manager is, is het super vooruit gegaan. Top service en als iets niet naar wens is word dat super behandeld. Er is 1 specifieke bezorger (killie) die super zijn werk doet. Altijd netjes beleefd en correct en komt altijd met een lach aan je deur. Al jaren bestel ik bij hun en nee het gaat niet altijd perfect, maar daar zijn ze mensen voor. Tuurlijk is het soms zo dat het wat langer duurt maar dan hebben ze het druk, dan bel ik als ik het te lang vind duren en dan leggen ze de situatie uit. Top service ❤❤

Pizza war sehr lecker, wir müssten bisschen warten aber es hat sich gelohnt.

Niks mis met de pizza's maar de service is vreselijk meerdere malen gehad dat het meer dan een uur duurde. Ook een keer als enige 30 minuten in de winkel gezeten te wachten todat ik mijn pizza kon afhalen. Website werd niet geüpdatet en niks in de winkel omgeroepen. Pas toen ik het wachten zat werd en ernaar vroeg bleek die gewoon al klaar te liggen. Inmiddels koud, geen excuses niks.

Helaas vandaag een stuk minder. Bij de vier kaazen deel waren ze een kaassoort vergeten. En de pizza was echt droog... Eerste keer zo meegemaakt. Normaal is het altijd top.

Een hele goede pizzeria met vriendelijk personeel!! M'n zoon wilde graag kijken hoe de pizza's gemaakt worden. Toen mocht hij z'n eigen pizza maken!
