Nick heeft een industriële urban vibe. Ontbijt is super en de broodjes zijn heerlijk. De eigenaar is betrokken en gezellig. De service is on point! Ik raad het iedereen aan om hier te lunchen. De muziek is ook geweldig, echt een vibe!

Hmm the starters arrived great, the second starter too, but once the restaurant was a little fuller the service was slow and almost forgotten, not very pleasant

Had a really great evening at Nick Vollebregt; an ambiance that you rarely encounter. Beautiful interior, cozy light, candles on the table... everything is right! Service is very good. Nice personal contact and we thought the timing of the dishes was good. We had a delicious meal and this was certainly not our last visit!

Great atmosphere, food was a bit hit and miss, mousaka excellent but risotto disappointing. A new menu to us not as good as the previous one but a lovely evening.

Pleasantly busy and yet no chicken coop, nice wine at the right temperature, no fuss, just tasty fresh food beautifully served, everything is correct, service attentive (thanks Robbert). We will definitely come back!

At Nick Vollebregt it's all about atmosphere and, above all, good food. During my last visit I opted for the menu of the week, a delicious combination of refined flavors. Dinner started with a starter of chicory, prepared sous-vide with aged cheese. The soft structure of the chicory and the savory, creamy touch of the cheese made for a surprisingly balanced dish. A perfectly cooked sea bass was served as a main course. The fish was juicy and full of flavour, with a subtle preparation that showcased the quality of the ingredients. A well-chosen wine completed the whole thing and enhanced the flavors in just the right way. The evening ended with a creamy chocolate mousse, just as it should be: airy, rich in flavor and a real treat for chocolate lovers. At Nick Vollebregt you are assured of a culinary experience in a warm and atmospheric setting. An absolute must for an evening of enjoyment!

Cozy bistro/eatery. Friendly and attentive service. Small but nice card that is absolutely well executed. We had a table next to the entrance to the men's toilet, just a little less. Otherwise I would definitely have considered a rare 5 stars!

The restaurant not only has a nice appearance, but the food is also good. The menu is nice and concise, so your choice is quickly made. Wine list is also nicely constructed. The "famous" dishes are with a twist. Very nice. The staff is friendly and correct.

The food was tasty and the choice was good. I just missed some extra vegetables with the dishes. I also thought the 'Mc Donalds' fries were a bit poor and did not match the dishes. A nice potato gratin or some fresh potatoes would have been nice.

Op 08/12 met 12 man gedineerd , keuzemenu was vooraf besproken met gerant Mattie, tegen kaartprijzen, koffie gratis. (4 man) Alle gerechten waren uitgesproken slecht: steak tartaar, scholfilet, bavette, chacolade .taart, scropino. De rekening was fout > te hoog. Slechte ongeinteresseerde bediening. Om de sfeer niet te verpesten, hield iedereen zíjn mond tijdens het eten Al 40 jaar vaste gast. De directie serveert de schriftelijke klachten af met onwaarheden en het negeren ervan. 1000,- weggegooid ! Ik kom hier NOOIT meer. Dit zal ongetwijfeld veel reputatieschade veroorzaken. Christmas Eve, dinner for two. Delicious food, good atmosphere, nice and friendly service. On the pricey side, but we thought it was definitely worth it! I can definitely recommend having a nice dinner here! 🥂

What a nice atmosphere you have in your home! I would like to give you 2 tips: 1. If you offer the service of being able to adjust your own reservation via formitable, also offer the option to adjust the comments. Then you don't have to put on a play that there should be a bowl of water for the dog and "oh there is no dog, come with me to a smaller table, just kidding". I had only adjusted the number of people and time, so I could no longer indicate that my dog ​​was no longer coming. 2nd: fish has to swim but not on my plate 😅. The plaice fillet was well covered in the beurre blanc sauce...not nice! Furthermore: wonderful thing!

Compared to previous times, we were disappointed with the dishes presented. Due to the relatively large amount of sauerkraut, the scallops were insignificant. The menu said a steak, so I expected a nice piece of tenderloin and got a bavette cut into pieces. My tablemate's Swordfish was way too salty. SO Pity.

Not an extensive menu, but truly fantastic dishes, congratulations to the kitchen! Very friendly service, cozy old-fashioned dark brown tavern. The only downside is that it is extremely noisy. The Gooi audience in the busy shop tries to shout over each other. But nothing can be done about that.

This time a disappointment due to lack of staff. No one to say hello to our guests or show them to the cloakroom. The sirloin steak was already cold before the wine was finally brought. The cheaper steak fries were also much tastier. It remains a pleasant affair, but it seemed as if they weren't really in the mood for it last Sunday.

This is and remains the nicest restaurant in the Gooi, food and service are top notch as always!

A place the beautiful village Laren can be proud of. The atmosphere there is just as good as the food and the service is kind. We enjoyed a sole that was prepared excellent. Its the opposite of a modern restaurant: its not a pincet kitchen. Here history embraces you in every aspect in the most positive way..

Nick is a very nice charming place to meet, the garden is really idyllic and very atmospheric when the weather is nice. Beautifully laid tables and really delicious food. And there really is a nice atmosphere inside! We had a super fun evening. Highly recommended.

When we got home, we listed all the dishes again. Come to the conclusion that the price/quality and especially quantity ratio is not in order. Portions are insufficient and the accompanying salad certainly not, it turned out to be part of 1 dish. French fries are really outdated. Desserts are not in proportion to the other dishes in terms of quantity.

We zaten aan een mooie tafel na een bezoek aan Singer , helaas was de zeebaarsfilet rauw , de 2e keer nog immer , wat gaat hier mis , aan de prijs die best pittig was ging niets af kok ook aangesproken , ik vermoed dat de vis uit de vriezer kwam zou graag nog eens gaan maar heb nu mijn twijfels

All the way from Amsterdam to the St. Matthew Passion, conducted by Ed Spanjer, in the Basilica. Then have a bite to eat at Nick Vollebregt. Welcoming reception, beautifully set round table and attentive and friendly service. The classic oefs mayonnaise with its own twist was a delicious start: Creamy mayonnaise over semi-soft eggs on toast. The classic confit de canard was just as successful! It was all beautiful and nice in Laren, we will come back!

Delicious kitchen at incredibly reasonable prices best summarizes our dinner experience. While game is what everyone went for, anything on the menu looked delicious and very tempting. I had a duck liver appetizer as good as I have had them anywhere and my deer entree was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. For sure a repeat very soon where I might choose the pheasant my wife had for her entree as that too was incredible.

Gezellig en heerlijk als altijd. Mijn favoriete gerecht stond gelukkig op het weekmenu, lychee met gekaramelliseerde pijnboompitten en een poeder van eendenlever.
