Special place right in the heart of Amsterdam. Nicely decorated, good ambience. Fairly pricey, but makes sense based on the location, I guess. Service swift and friendly. Enjoyed the apple cinnamon pancake.

After a fire alarm and going down stairs in the Amsterdam Museum, I got a big hypo from stress. The owner and his wife of the Pannekoekkelder immediately saw what was going on. Helped to sort out the hypo, even allowed me to just lie down on the couch. Baked a pancake for me as a priority. That's how I recovered. Thank you!!
