The burgers were very good, I think they're the best option available in Maastricht. The staff were very friendly and the service was 5 stars.

Reasonably priced and the atmosphere is really that of a quick dinner. BUT the burgers are perfect. So the price/quality ratio is still very good. Both the California Love and Backyard BBQ are highly recommended. The staff is very fast and friendly!

Burgers were mid. Go to Le Smash round the corner for that high fat crispy, lacy edge on the smash burger. Bloke serving seemed to expect that I should know how everything works and needed a lesson in customer service. I will not return.

A surprising and very welcoming burger joint with fantastically tasty burger menus and delicious fries with artisanal sauces, and an enthusiastic staff. Hats off to this concept, which has been consistently preparing quality food with love for many years.

Service people were really nice, I asked for vegan burger which they were nice to check for me if patty was vegan and if the sauce was vegan too. But to be honest I won’t go back. I will prefer to go at a place that they have everything label on to menu and having at least one vegan burger on the menu.

We ordered some loaded fries that didn’t have any chicken strips or basically any of the ingredients said in the menu. Before, we have eaten their burgers and they were mid, Smash burgers are better. It also took like 30 min just to get loaded fries and the shop was empty. It seems they also changed their menu so no chicken wings or milkshakes. I’m usually not a hater but this was very disappointing and the pictures shown in the reviews are nothing like what they serve anymore. Unfortunate. It is also very hot and dark inside, plus some flies around :(

The restaurant appears clean, the food is average, and the price is too high for the size. The staff is unfriendly and insulted us. The owner's responses to other comments are inaccurate. Perhaps in the future, instead of blaming the guests, you should fire the unfriendly employees.

Unfortunately, the employee was extremely unfriendly. The menu states two patties and two slices of cheese. Every burger can be ordered as a veggie burger for €1.50+, which is perfectly fine, but when the burger arrived, it only had one patty. When I pointed this out, the employee immediately became unfriendly and abusive. It would be perfectly acceptable if it were stated on the menu, but for the price and the service, I absolutely do not recommend it!

Fries were dreadful and really dont even bother getting them as they are drenched in oil. My friend took a chiken berger and I took beef and both of them tasted really bad and greasy. While also getting us food poisoningand both of us were sick all night after eating it. So please check that the meat hasn't gone bad. Moreover expect to wait 1 hour for your burger. Just go to another place and dont even bother going there

Ordered food here today. Waited an hour, which isn't so bad, it's Sunday. The burger was cold. Ordered for €49. I definitely wouldn't do this again. A real disappointment.

Not veggie friendly (+€1 charged for a veggie burger), 40min waiting time while the restaurant was almost empty, burger and fries were nothing special. Would have expected more for the high price you pay. Would not go back. Tip from a local: go to Smash burger instead: cheaper, better quality and veggie friendly!

it came up as almost 5 stars, and the burgers looked good on the pictures. They are okay, not the best I ever had. For 15 Euro I either expect them to be bigger or with fries. And then add a little extra if you want special fries, like garlic and herbs. We had to order those seperately. The fries were delicious though. But 6 euros for fries is a bit steep. It is just the amount/quality versus price was below expectations. What bothered us was that they add a refund to the coke cans, but they won't refund them. You can leave them there or take them home. It is a small thing but it also feels like a small scam. By now I read more reviews and I can already type the answer: " we work with fresh goods, etc" And I understand and believe that to be true. But a 15 Euro hamburger then needs to blow your mind, be a bit bigger or come with fries, small salad. It was the small refund thing (I am sure there will.be an answer to this too) that tipped the scale for me and made me write this as feedback. Room for improvement, but with so many places to choose from, not my first choice to revisit in the future

The service is excellent, the burgers are all very creatively prepared, but the ambiance leaves something to be desired – it's only suitable as a snack spot for a family dinner. The prices are relatively high at around €20 per burger including fries; this could be adjusted to better reflect the value for money.

Okay, we went with very high hopes after seeing all the hype and advertising, but it was seriously the worst quality of burgers we’ve had. The bread, the meat, especially the “cheese” fries are so bad quality, and unfortunately was very salty. The service was super slow, although staff was nice. I think this place unfortunately needs a lot of improvement.

Oh man, we feel betrayed. We used to love this place, but everything we ordered tonight was not up to their usual standard. Dry dry dry. The smash patties were much thinner than normal and burnt to a crisp making them very dry. The chicken nuggets were not buttermilk fried as advertised but instead they were exactly like McDonalds nuggets and incredibly dry. The fried chicken for the burger has changed for the worse and is now a flat sad patty instead of the thick crispy hunk of chicken. So bummed this spot let us down from once being such a solid burger joint.

The Mighty Chicken Burger was incredibly delicious and the fries were very crispy. The staff/owners were very nice and friendly. The only downside was that the chili mayo was a bit too runny and could have been spicier. We would definitely come back on our next visit to Maastricht 👍🏻

We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. We waited an hour for our food. The burgers were completely cold, as if they had been ready 20 minutes ago. The fries were okay, but that was it. Unfortunately, the price was far too high.

Super cozy little place, in a location you wouldn't expect to find a burger joint. Nice interior, trendy. The burgers were really great. We think we ordered the wrong side dishes. We had the wings, but they were covered in a sauce that was very overpowering. We also had the fries with garlic and herbs. Lots of oil and a whole lot of garlic. Really too much of a good thing. We waited a long time for our order. Just over an hour after ordering, the pager went off, allowing you to pick up your food at the counter. Overall: burgers are highly recommended, but the wait time was a real shame.

Very delicious smashed burgers and huge portions, we couldnt finish all the food. The fries were also very tasty and high quality Their homemade ice tea was also super tasty. We will definitely come back. The vibes are nice an great for a dinner out. I had a vegetarian burger with bacon and it was super tasty and juicy. The vegan meat they cook is on a separate grill which is great because not many restaurants cook vegan meat on the same grill as the regular meat.

Food is good but price and experience spoiled the fun. We paid close to 60€ for 2 burgers (without any extra, one loaded fries, a regular one, a sauce and 3 cans of coke. Ok everything is expensive nowadays bla bla bla. Still, 60€. The worst was the experience with the service though. We ordered at 18:43 and got the food at 19:25 🥴. People were served before us and others coming around 19:10-15 got served at the same time we did. Not even an apology. We were also kicked out from our table since a larger group came. I can understand the idea but they must find another way. Either larger groups book or they don’t offer very uncomfortable stool without back but kicking someone out of its chair is rude. Period. Oh I was about to forget, don’t bother wearing freshly cleaned clothes, they’ll be good to be washed again the minute you enter the place. The smell of grease gives you the impression to eat in the kitchen itself.

Not to be repeated Let me be honest: this was not a pleasant experience. After waiting for an hour and a half, I decided to call, and was told that they had just started because it was so busy. It can happen, but then you should let them know or at least offer something as compensation. Half an hour later, the food finally arrived. The hamburger was mainly a sauce explosion. So much ketchup and mustard that you could hardly taste the rest. The wings almost certainly seemed to come from the freezer. And if that is not the case, then they are just quite mediocre. The fries were so salty that it seemed more like salt with fries than the other way around. And then you pay €35 for that. No drink with it, no small gesture as compensation, while that is quite normal at other places if you have to wait that long. Here? Nothing at all. If you want to eat here, better go to the restaurant yourself. Maybe it is better there. But delivery? I will not do that again. Waste of my time and money.

Very friendly and pleasant little place. The burgers are homemade as are the fries and sauces. We feel the quality behind the products. On the other hand, the place is not very big so don't hesitate to come in advance.

The portions of fries are different sizes. So if you are with people who mind that: be careful. My fries with garlic and herbs only had a very smollndrop on them. Not nearly as much as others on the photos here had.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. Took over an hour to receive two citizens. The patties were unfortunately very unappetizing; didn't taste fresh and like it had pork in it. Unfortunately the burgers were thrown away after two bites. Contacted the restaurant about this. They would come up with an appropriate solution. Never heard anything again. Not recommended.

This places makes incredible burgers, both with meat and without. Their Firebird is to die for and has the best buffalo sauce I've ever had. The Garlic and herb fries are great but I wish the toppings were a but more mixed into the fries bc you get a layer of great garlic fries and then just regular fries on the bottom. The staff is super nice and they always have good music :)
