Hands down the best roti in town. I’ve been ordering the vegetarian roti with tempeh and aubergine for eight years, and it has never disappointed. The flavour is always spot on, and the portion size is just right. It’s worth noting that this is a takeaway spot, not a sit-down restaurant, which might explain some of the comments about the space. Judging it by how it looks means missing out completely. I also often buy their Madame Jeanette sambal from here—there’s honestly no contender for it anywhere else. Anyone who skips this place is seriously missing out.

I've picked up roti chicken fillet curry three times now from Perries Exotic Food on Cornelis Troostplein, and every time it's been simply delicious. The quality is always consistent: well-seasoned, hot, and fresh. It's often busy, but I always receive friendly and prompt service from the staff behind the counter. No fuss, just delicious roti at a good price. I'm a satisfied neighbor and love coming back. A great place for anyone who's craving a tasty roti nearby!

Got food poisoning. Became very ill from it

For €17, I picked up the most pathetic, paltry lamb/chicken roti ever. Shrinkflation? A total of 3 (three) pieces of lamb, some dry chicken breast, but half a kilo of potatoes. Disappointment!!

The sandwiches here used to be generously filled... these days, they're practically empty. It's truly scandalous! The stingiest sandwiches you'll ever find! It's a real shame for this place.

Had the Chicken Curry Roti and it was amaaazing. Had it take away and they put some pickled onion and madame Jeanette sambal with the order. The perfect dish, I am obsessed. Highly recommend.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. What stingy people these are, I didn't know what I saw. The chicken and meat for the Surinamese sandwiches are sort of weighed out in bowls and dishes, it's unbelievable how stingy people are. 😔🤣 The quality is not special either. The atmosphere and customer friendliness are very unsatisfactory.

Have been ordering here for 3-4 years and have always been very satisfied with the food, especially in relation to the price. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, with the chicken fillet ketjap as a personal favorite. I sometimes read low reviews, but it seems like some people have extremely high expectations. For a generous meal, including extras and free delivery, for a price around €20, you really can't complain about minor shortcomings. It is unrealistic to expect the highest quality for such a low price. In short, top service and good food!

Unfortunately I have to give this one star otherwise I can't leave a review! Very disappointed in the quality of the food, the hygiene and the complaint regarding how something is served was not dealt with. The sauce was simply poured over the fried banana. It was dry, slippery and dusty. The barra was stuck to the bag and the oil did not drip off normally! Even after the complaint, the payment was simply shrugged off and nothing was done the last time I was there! unfortunately I can't recommend this place to anyone! Be warned!!!!! Very rude and not customer or service oriented! Cleaning above eating… A real deception! I just got outside and I'm already not feeling well... I've been leaving a lot!

Ordered often enough because of the delicious food and smooth delivery. Now only during delivery a complete portion of saoto soup has leaked. Forgot a can of drink and received 2 wrong flavors. After a call, it was immediately arranged and the correct order was delivered again. However, the same delivery person came to the door very unpleasantly and very rudely, tearing the bag open in front of my daughter's nose and then at the same time taking back a small bag of garnish because the previous bag was just soaked and that is fine according to him. I fished out the small container of ketjap pepper with the same question as to whether the other one had also leaked, otherwise it would just go back. I find it very rude for the delivery person to rip open the buttoned bag and then fish out items to take back. There's no point in calling because they don't answer. So I will never order from here again. Picking up yourself is always best.

Best saoto soup of Amsterdam! Chicken is juicy, flavors of the broth are amazing intens. I have tried a lot of saoto’s in Amsterdam as it is my favorite dish. Of all I have tried this one really amazed me! Also the spicy chicken sandwich was so good.

Beef, shrimp and 2 vegetarian takeaways here. Called in advance to see if there was pepper in it. No, no pepper in the food, that's what you get. When we got home, there was pepper in the beef and shrimp (and sugar too, by the way). If there is pepper in the food, don't say it isn't there. Some people just can't eat it!!! Ordered extra eggplant for 2.50 euros, but two tablespoons is very little for 2.50. Furthermore, the roti was very tough and the baka bana is nothing to write home about either. But I'll order somewhere else for a while.

I ordered a vegetarian roti with tempeh and extra eggplant. I have been making roti myself for 10 years and I also eat a lot of roti out. but this was really really good. 10 times better than the roti I can get here in Utrecht. Also add delicious pickled onions and the Madame Jeanette sauce, you won't get a panic attack like I sometimes have at other places. Highly recommended.

Years ago, with its old owner, this store was great! But it is incomprehensible where the positive reviews come from. Several bad experiences with this takeaway shop. Tried again after a while. After all, we live around the corner. The dirtiest roti ever. 1 vegetarian and 1 with meat. Both watery gunk to the brim, which had partly spilled out along the way, looked like watery soup, barely any taste, 2 level spoons of long beans. You definitely shouldn't be here for the vitamin. Also microwaved for too long. This was really the last time. The only plus point is that it all looks hygienic and clean.

I picked up a roti chicken fillet. Contents: chicken fillet, potato, long beans, egg, pickles, sambal, roti plate. Everything was tasty! I will definitely be getting takeout from here more often. The only point for improvement is the roti plate, which was a bit dry.

Great experience! I ordered the vegetarian roti with eggplant. First of all, it is great that this can be done via their own website and that the delivery costs are low (€2). The food was really delicious, everything was fresh, the taste was great, the tempeh crunchy enough but not dry, the portion was generous and the roti plate was also of good quality. The service was also great: I called to see if the order could be delivered 30 minutes later, this was no problem. And as a bonus: I was offered a free drink with the order, and when spa red was not in the list of options and I asked for it, I was promptly given a spa red with a smile from the delivery person!

Zeer goede bara met garnalen. Bediening was minderjarig, en daardoor ook niet klant ervaren.

Hadden besteld. Werd netjes op tijd afgeleverd, eten was nog heel goed warm en erg zorgvuldig ingepakt. We hadden zowel broodjes als volledige roti gerechten en iedereen vond het heerlijk! Als ik in de buurt ben ga ik zeker een keer binnen eten.

Lekkerste roti ooit! De roti zelf is heerlijk zacht, in tegenstelling tot anderen die vaak droog/korrelig zijn. En de vulling is super smaakvol. De vega roti met aubergine en tempeh is echt een 10 uit 10 😍 een blije vaste klant hier 👌🏼

Good takeaway food, good prices. Friendly family business serving surinamese and asian food. Great bami and nasi. Large vegetarian choice, the tempeh was nice. 15€ for everything on my picture, i could not finish in one meal.

The food here is delicious. I had the bami noodles with chicken curry. It was absolutely delicious but they give you so much I couldn’t finish it all. I can’t wait to come here again when I come back to Amsterdam.

Haal hier elke week af! Vegetarische roti met aubergine is het ultieme comfort food na een drukke werkdag of op een kater middag. Ruime porties en super lekker. Echter, als de mevrouw er staat zit er vaak niet zo veel tempeh in, en iets meer aardappel wat wel jammer is.

Ik had roti met kipkerrie besteld. Alles in 1 keer gegeten. De prijzen zijn niet omhoog gegaan, dus lekker betaalbaar👍
