Super tasty, always fresh and plentiful! We definitely come here once every 1-2 weeks! And super sweet people. Not too expensive. The lamb roti roll is highly recommended!

We thought we were getting some tasty chicken curry roti for my husband's birthday, but it turned out to be a bad idea. We got roti for 3 people. The chicken was bone dry, you had to search for the long beans, the potatoes were large and half-raw, and the sauce turned out to be a thick mush. And... no curry egg with it. The only thing that was even remotely edible was the roti flatbread. Such a terrible waste of money!

Everything was dry, there was no curry egg, barely any green beans, the chicken was dry, and the "sauce" was more of a thick mush so it couldn't be dipped with the roti flatbread. For over €14 per person, it was a real waste!

This guy is a scammer. He claims to be Indian, but he's not Suriname. He's not Indian, he's from Kurt. Scammer, he overcharged too. What he sells isn't roti. Not tasty either. Scammer, people don't go get food there. Dirty man.

By far, the best tempeh sandwich in town!

Excellent vegetarian roti roll. Tofu and tempeh is a real treat. The roti itself (the 'pancake') was just okay, but the filling was particularly tasty.

The food was very tasty. We also got quite a lot. But the evening and the day after, I had terrible stomach pain and diarrhea. Do not order from here!!!

This Roti shop doesn’t look impressive but the food was amazing. This is a shop where you stop in and take the food home. We are staying at the Pestana Hotel a 5 star hotel a block away and this is much better than the hotel! I highly recommend it! The price was right too, a good value.

I've picked up vegetarian roti rolls from here a few times now, and I really like them! A great combination of flavors and textures. For my taste, there could be a bit more long beans than tempeh, but otherwise, it's absolutely fantastic!

I regularly get vegetarian roti here. The portions are large and very tasty (I often eat one roti dish twice). The people are super nice and I always have a chat there, which is very pleasant. Sometimes I bring friends along and every time I hear how delicious they find it. So, highly recommended!

Vegetarian roti has nothing to do with roti. Sweet tomato goo with chunks of tofu and tempeh. And frozen vegetables. Absolutely not okay.

The owner is friendly! He also chats with you while preparing your order, so it's not because of the hospitality. But the food is really disappointing. You have to pay extra for an egg next to your roti order. This is not really Surinamese as suggested. The bami had a dominant tomato flavor I came here because I was looking for halal Surinamese food. Not worth repeating.

Just a nice roti roll. Had roti roll chicken, good flavor, freshly rolled, potato was cooked a little too hard. Friendly price for €8.50. My friend was also enthusiastic. Will definitely come back

I am used to Indian Surinamese cuisine at home, but I was somewhat surprised by the delicious vegetarian roti with bean curd. The potatoes could be a little less hard and hygiene seems to be in order. In contrast to various other reviews from people who did not pick it up themselves and of course perhaps less fresh and a shame, I think this is definitely worth repeating and particularly distinctive, especially considering a street full of Indian restaurants. We actually wanted to go to Rams Roti but it was closed on Monday, as was Roepram, so we looked for an alternative and ended up here. We still had doubts because of the bad reviews, but our roti was more than fine so we would definitely come back here, only the 2 I thought the euro for the egg was a bit much, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

SUPER SUPER SUPERRR GOOD FOOD!!!! I had a bara chicken myself and it was so delicious, it made me completely emotional🤣😅 And the ginger beer is also really tasty!

I called 20 minutes in advance to order and when I got there it still had to be made. Making the roti roll took almost 15 minutes and it wasn't even busy. I ordered non-spicy and got spicy and also ordered spicy for my friend and it wasn't spicy. The kitchen was not tidy and there was nowhere to sit. And he was unfriendly!!!! Really not recommended.

The roti is really not tasty, it says "Surinamese specialties" but believe me this is not Surinamese food, that man puts way too much curry, it is just watery so you can no longer taste the whole roti roll or flavor, you only taste the curry. The roti plate was chewy and the long beans ARE GREEN BEANS! We also called 20 minutes in advance and when we arrived he still had to make the order. You can't sit inside and it's not fresh. Very disappointing, we were really hungry. Soul food is recommended, there is the best roti ever!!

Never again Roti here where you have to pay extra for an egg. That's roti chicken fillet special, they say. Never experienced that an egg is not included as standard, and no special option can be found on the menu. The pancake was a bit too tough and there was no curry sous in it, which makes it quite a dry bite. Including 2 € extra for the egg, certainly not worth 15:50. Unfortunately, my regular address was closed due to renovations, where I had a super roti standard with egg for €10. I will not recommend this tent to anyone

The food is decent but very pricey for what you get. My reason for not coming back since the last 2 times was the satay with chicken pieces the size of dice. Since the lady started working behind the counter, they have become extremely economical. Shame.

We quickly popped in before getting back on the road. I must say really yummy food!! I really enjoyed the loempia as well really tasty. If I come back to Amsterdam definitely grabbing more food!

Roti roll was fine, the nasi chicken was inedible. Not fresh, had a strange smell and was not as it should be. The delivery person almost scammed us by claiming that we still had to pay and did not deliver our food.

I give 5 stars out of goodwill and everyone is entitled to a 2nd chance. The food was inedible, all the meats on my 2 sandwiches were sort of over-dipped (marinated?) in some type of red sauce. It had been a while since I ordered but I think 1 sandwich was with hot chicken. Way too much sauce with lots of color but little authentic taste. Certainly not in the Surinamese style. Please take a Surinamese marinating course, less is more! The interior could also be a little more attractive to the eye, it resembles a company kitchen.

Ordered Barra lamb for 7 euros. The food was ready super quickly (heated up), but unfortunately not fresh - which does not affect the quality of the food. Price-quality is reasonable.

I ordered a “broodje tempeh”. The tempeh was nice, the broodje was microwaved way too much so it was hard and stale. As I wanted to eat vegetarian I asked for the teloh with some peanut sauce, and still had to pay the full price of six euro for bakkeljauw/teloh. On top of that the teloh was super dry. I won’t come back here.

Makkelijk te bereiken winkel en zeer vriendelijke mensen. Maar bovenal... Het eten is er echt een aanrader. Smaakvol en ruime keus. Echt een aanrader!

Franchement ça paye pas de mine mais purée que c'est bon ,je conseille a ceux qui aiment soit épicé soit pimenté soit normal, mais franchement c'est excellent, bravo

Lekkere tempeh en roti, goede vega opties.

De rotirol hier is een maaltijd op zich. Ik haal er elke week en de kwaliteit is top! Vriendelijke mensen ook.

Wij hebben hier een Rotirol besteld welke ons enorm gesmaakt heeft! Het is werkelijk fantastisch dat je een volledige maaltijd in een cozy wrap kan krijgen. De met vlees (of veggie variant), aardappelen en een beetje groentjes gevulde wrap vulde onze buik goed en heeft ons goed gesmaakt. En dit allemaal voor €6,5. Deze prijs-kwaliteit vind je nergens anders!

Zalig gegeten voor een hele zachte prijs. Fijn dat dit soort afhaaltenten nog bestaan.

Ik kom er in mijn lunch pauze regelmatig. Zalige broodjes. De pistoletjes zijn altijd knapperig en de opties voor in de broodjes zijn stuk voor stuk erg lekker. Wel iets aan de prijzige kant, maar ik ben Rotterdamse prijzen gewend.

De broodjes kerrie ei zijn geen Surinaamse puntjes, maar gewone bruine pistoletjes.

Roti gehaald voor mijn collega's (die nog nooit roti hadden gegeten...naja!). Erg lekker en volle bak. Pittige kip is ECHT pittig! Zalig. Roti pannekoek was iets te taai.
