Ordered a birthday cake and it was amazing. So happy to have such a delicious vegan cake option.

I've been wanting to come here for a while because it's a place where you can eat gluten-free sweets 💕 This is the first shop I've found in Amsterdam that sells gluten-free sweets and advertises them as gluten-free. I ordered an iced matcha latte and an orange brownie ball. I had the iced matcha latte made with almond milk and it was delicious and made me feel at ease. The brownie balls were very soft and sweet but slightly bitter, which I also liked. Next time I would like to try other gluten-free sweets 🥰 The people at the shop were also kind and cute😍💯 ⚠️There seems to be no restroom🚽 in the store🙅‍♀️

It was straightforward to order a birthday cake online. The cake was available for pick up on the desired day. The cake tasted great and it was freshly made. All members of staff were extremely kind and helpful. Thank you so much for offering such a high quality of services.

Great bakery with fresh items! The Brookie bar (recommended by Emilia) was excellent. Emilia also delivered really excellent customer service during my visit. I will visit again next time I am in Amsterdam.

Have ordered the dark chocolate cake with berries on two different social occasions and it’s always been a party hit! The cake itself is moist and not too sweet while the berries add a beautiful zing. Would move to Amsterdam just for this!

Hands down the best vegan cakes in Amsterdam! I can’t recommend them enough, they’ve been my go-to for all birthdays and celebrations four years in a row. Super delicious, with the perfect soft texture and just the right amount of moisture. All my friends love them (even non vegans!), and they’re also very cute! 🥰 the staff is really nice, and the pickup process is very smooth and organized, so highly recommend!

They took the effort to deliver a delicious cake sooner for a birthday party. Everyone enjoyed the cake very much! Will be back there again to try more delights 😋

The cake was absolutely gorgeous as depicted and with the message on it! The chocolate cream however was a bit disappointing in terms of taste.

My brother and I visited here recently, on a vacation from the UK. The service was outstanding, warm, friendly. Amelia went above and beyond and explained the choices available. Very cozy place on the side of busy street. We iedereen Almond Swir and it taste amazing, very subtle almond taste just tipped your tongue, well balanced with the raspberry, between sweet/sour. I think she got the highest compliment on her dessert from an Asian “It’s not too sweet”. Coffee is also good as well, we ordered oat milk late and Cappuccino, nice.

Amazing latte matcha, not super sweet which was great and awesome carrot cake as well! In other locations, diary free options tend to be too sweet, which was not the case here. :) Amazing place, really recommended!

Cute place and delicious pastries. I ordered a gluten-free and nut-free cake, even though I don’t have dietary restrictions and it was so tasty. I would definitely recommend it to friends that do have allergies and intolerances. Our barista, Katie, was also very sweet and helpful!

Wonderful birthday cake for four people, tasty, great layers that were moist and wasn’t too sweet on the buttercream. Perfect!

Little bit dissapointed by the special sinterklaas pepernoten cake which was very tiny and just cake with buttercream on top and the slightest hint of pepernoten. It was fine but nothing exciting and definitly not worth 4,60 :( I do love their other vegan cakes so still 3 stars! (:

Ordered the Matcha cake here for a special occassion and it was lovely. The cake layers were moist and the matcha icing was delious! Also grabbed some small treats as well and they were just as lovely! Will for sure be back! Thanks for the lovely plant-based treats

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s 20th birthday and am happy to share my wonderful experience. First of all, thank you Sam for the delicious cake and highly professional service. As I ordered from abroad, for some reason the order didn’t pass through. But Sam was very responsive and helpful by email and phone messages. We all liked the cake and will definitely order at Petit next time again.

Just made the deadline for a cake pick up on delivery. Questions and clarifications were quickly made by phone to ensure I understood the ordering options. the letter/numbers cake option is very nice way to personalize a cake.

I had a first experience with my first order a bit chaotic, however I received a very good quality of customer service to solve it. Sam is very understanding, friendly and efficient. The cake was also very tasty, I will definitely order again !

Very good cappuccino and cinnamon swirl. The chai latte had a bit too much ginger for us, but is also very tasty. Great atmosphere and service. You should try it out!

We had a LOVELY experience with Petit by Sam! For our company's 5th anniversary we wanted to order a big beautiful vegan birthday cake and boy did Samita and her team deeeeeeliver 💚 We had some very nice and swift contact via email and phone to hash out the deets and they got us an absolutely GLORIOUS vegan cake with real quality red fruits they kept separate for us to top the cake with. A nice bonus: with € 45 for their biggest size they are actually the most affordable luxury plant-based option we found in Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

We bought a “chocolate chip cookie cake”. Not sure why it refers to a “cookie” as there is nothing as such but It’s a nice moist cake with almond flavor and chocolate chips (gluten and dairy free)

We ordered a chocolate vegan cake and it was really nice. Not that usual cheap 'slagroom taart' taste I was afraid about. Also, there was a tiny problem with the delivery but it was solved in a very customer friendly way (so that it didn't really get an issue!) Thanks a lot, we loved the cake and will order again!

Friendly staff and delicious sweets. It's a small space so best to get something to go although there are a few tables available. Best items are their cinnamon swirl cake and cherry amaretti cookies. A downside is that the prices of the items are quite high.

Very expensive! The pastries are almost double the price you would expect for something like that (mostly very small pieces) in Amsterdam. Nothing remarkable taste wise. Atmosphere wasn’t really cosy but the staff was friendly and attentive! They also don’t have toilets for customers. A bit of a disappointment for us…

Very expensive! Not worth it. It just sells small sugary cakes/pastries homemade style for 10x the normal price. Plus the staff in the Amsterdam shop is extremely unkind, terribly negligent and visibly preoccupied with their own affairs. The only thing I suggest buying / ordering here are the big cakes!

This store has really super good looking desserts. The eyes would definitely be triggering you to try. The taste for everything in general is fair. They have really good wide selections and gluten free options. But in terms of sweet stores, their options are fair. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Cute coffee shop with gluten free options. I tasted the banana bread and it was very hard and dry. They didn’t have a microwave to heat it so I didn’t really enjoy it. Service is good though.

Love this place since it opened! Gluten free options (but possible cross contamination)! My favorite are: the lemon poppyseed cake, peanut butter bars, and the tahini chocolate chip cookie!

Wat een geweldig bedrijf hebben jullie! Ik ben bij zowel de vestiging in Amsterdam als de vestiging in Den Haag geweest en beiden zijn echt prachtig qua interieurstyling en heel fijn qua sfeer. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en lief. Ze doen er echt alles aan om je belevenis zo goed mogelijk te maken. En dan hebben we het nog niet eens over de taartjes en de koffie gehad.. OMG zoooo lekker!! Alles is gewoon heerlijk en met veel liefde bereid. Ik kan ze dus zeker aanraden! De vestiging in Den Haag is nog niet zo lang open dus ga er snel heen zou ik zeggen :)

All I can say is WOW!! When one is only able to eat gluten-free & vegan, oftentimes pastries are out for me. However, with a beautiful bakery catering to those with this same need, Petit by Sam is so there for you!! I cherished every morsel of several yummy treats!! Highly Recommended!

This cake was Devine. No non vegan would know it was vegan and it was a decent price and would do a nice slice for 8-10 people. I am so happy to find this place. My daughter was over the moon that they could ice her name on top it made her feel very special. Thank you so much!

The Berry Swirl was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had

Loved the delicious cakes I ordered for a meeting today. They ranged from cinnamon to blueberry-almond, to orange-pistachio and lemon-poppy. We couldn’t believe they were all gluten-free and two were vegan (the other two were vegan & dairy free, but used eggs). Impressed that they tasted so scrumptious with the use of healthy “sweeteners”. I will definitely be back!

Cakes are amazing! You wouldn’t be able to tell that they are gluten free or vegan! I hope they can make their layer cakes both gluten free AND vegan. That would be the dream come true!
