A very nice salesperson. I had trouble choosing a cake for my child. He let me see all the cakes and explained the flavors. The one I chose showed me what it looked like inside. I really liked it and he was very professional. The cake was delicious. Bravo to you. Keep it up. I recommend it.

A top-notch place. A little bit of peace and quiet in bustling Amsterdam. With relaxing music and sometimes even two sweet dogs in the shop. A large slice of cake with coffee that's still affordable. More than 25/30 kinds of tea. And the supplier of the most delicious cakes in Limburg. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍

I received my tart with the message that the raspberries on top were moldy, but that the ones inside were fine. They asked me to remove them myself. And that it was the baker's fault. And it was! Four or five raspberries were covered in mold, and I'd chosen the tart because of the raspberries! I wasn't offered another one, and we'd already paid. How can you offer a moldy piece to a customer??? I was so surprised that I did what he said... But honestly, I'm so furious and would rather go visit than write this review, but I don't want to waste any more time or attention on it.

What fantastic service! I came for a cappuccino with oat milk, but the friendly man who helped me said he didn't have any. Seeing my disappointment, he went to the supermarket to get some especially for me. A bottle of tap water, the cake beautifully presented on a plate with cutlery, and I sat outside in the sunshine. What more could you ask for? I say, don't go to those big chains, but spend your money here on a delicious cup of coffee, tea, or a piece of cake!

I'm 8 months pregnant and wasn't allowed to use the restroom here. That says a lot about customer service.

I asked for sugar-free pastries for someone with diabetes. The seller said they were safe, but only after paying, I was told they contain agave syrup — which is not suitable for diabetics. Also, pastries were handled without gloves. Just be careful if you have dietary needs.

This fantastic place accommodated us after a café nearby just sent me and my friend away telling us we were not welcome for ‘just a drink’. Here we enjoyed us some great time, real Amsterdam hospitality, tasty drinks and plentiful cakes for very reasonable prices as well. Business run with the heart (and not for nothing being there for 14 years now)! Definitely coming back!

I was there today and I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk. I got a cappuccino that was just a little warm, almost cold actually. When paying, I wanted to say it to the actual person, in a polite way. The response was shocking. That very rude man rudely said that was impossible (yes, impossible), then I was literally shown the door. I felt shocked and insulted. It's a shame that such a beautiful place is run by such a rude and rude man.

We were watching a baking tv show when my partner said: 'remember when we used to get cakes at that one place?!'... That was zoet & hartig. For two years this was our weekly sweet treat. Sadly we moved cities but this place might be our first stop when back. Make sure to visit (and try the red velvet!!) when around, you won't regret it!

Came for cake at 4.40pm...the sign was already closed. The gentleman at the back of the shop looked at me and turned his head. I stood there for a moment, but he continued to ignore me. The door says open until 5pm. Unfortunately no cake.

I had a cake here and I really didn't like it at all. It was not better quality than the cakes sold in the Jumbo or Albert Heijn, and not cheap compared to low quality. Service was also very strange.

Beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. If you stand in front of the display case drooling, you are guaranteed to walk out with a licking mouth or a stiff tongue if you choose to eat all those goodies at home.

We zijn er niet vaak, maar als we in de buurt zijn dan komen we hier graag een glas thee (uit het enorme assortiment) drinken met een lekker stuk heerlijke(!) vlaai erbij! En altijd vriendelijk en gaatvrij geholpen. Een grote aanrader!

Afgelopen zaterdag zijn een vriendin en ik hier voor een high tea geweest. Het was geweldig! We werden in de watten gelegd en hebben genoten van heerlijke broodjes, taart en bonbons. Wat we niet op kregen, werd perfect ingepakt meegegeven om thuis van te genieten. Bij al het lekkers mochten we steeds opnieuw thee kiezen uit 30 verschillende soorten zodat het gelijk ook een theeproeverij was. En Ronny (als ik het goed heb) is een ontzettend grappige en zorgzame gastheer! Voor herhaling vatbaar deze high tea!

Probably the best cake I've had in The Netherlands! I had the frambozen amandel; my friends also had frambozen amandel, plus sacher and schwarzwalder, and they love it too. The staff is also very nice, they took care of everything we asked in the online order with kindness and consideration. The shop is also very cute, smells so nice, I wanted to buy and eat everything. They have a large variety of tea and bombons. Very happy to get to know this place. Looking forward for the next opportunities.

I ordered a black forest cake for my wife's 30th birthday. The cake the service was excellent, everything was on time. The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star rating is because I had specifically mentioned and asked for a less sweet cake, but the cake still turned out to be very sweet. Just a point for your future customers and hopefully when I again order as well, if a customer asks for less sweet cake please try and make it as requested.
