The food came fairly quickly, but I have to say that it is the most tasteless and the cheese was rubbery and long, it is the most boring lasagna I have ever had, all the food we got lacked salt

Visited in March 2026. A very good Italian restaurant/pizzeria where you can eat delicious meals or fresh pizzas for 15-20 euros. The owner is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I tried their Tonno pizza and loved it! :) The restaurant is very well located in the center of Amsterdam. I highly recommend it! ;)

Worst saltimbocca ever. Looked terrible, swimming in a curdled sauce with some broccoli. Some potato slices and 3 pieces of carrot. Taste was edible but salty. No sage.

I went with my husband and son for dinner. The place is pleasant, the service is attentive, we ordered pizza and pasta with shrimp and garlic which was simply wonderful and a very generous portion! I recommend it!!

We've eaten there a few times now and the food has been delicious every time. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and plentiful. For us, the price-performance ratio was absolutely fine.

Exorbitant prices for frozen food. The pasta tastes like instant noodles. The pizzas not only look frozen, they taste like it too. The value for money is truly shameful, and the whole experience left a bad taste in your mouth. The staff was overwhelmed despite the small number of customers; it took over 15 minutes to get the bottles of cola from the refrigerator, which was less than 10 meters away, in direct sunlight at 28 degrees Celsius. We couldn't understand the 4.5-star rating, and the negative reviews will most likely be deleted. Not recommended!

Had their special, penne norma, a penne with grilled eggplant and the tiramisu. The food was wonderful and the staff were great. Prices were reasonable and service was timely. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately it seems pizza isn’t their strong suit, the dough was somewhat spongy and the topping felt very cheap like pre-sliced supermarket pepperonis and canned ham.

We came for some Pasta and it hit the spot. We had 2 children with us and they accommodated their needs very well.

Close to hotels, easy walking distance. Great authentic Italian food. We split the Insalata Mista and Scaloppina Con Melanzane, which were both excellent. Portions are fair and servings are complex. Salad included lettuce, tomatoes, arugula, cucumbers, olives, onions, olive oil, and balsamic cream. Scaloppina Con Melanzane has veal steak with eggplant and buffalo burrata in tomato sauce. We chose this over the Pizzaioli for eggplant over capers, plus a waitress recommendation; fresh parmessian cheese on the side. Others, each had the Lasagne and probably could have shared, but they shared with the rest of the table; it was great and rich from the generous cheese layer. The Dinner Special board showed, Penne Norma, which was a table favorite, so there were also a couple of happy orders for the special. A bottle of wine and a few beers (Moretti in the bottle) and we were set. Servers were great and had all the answers and side options available. It started to get quite warm and they opened the door to cool things off. It seems to be a family-type restaurant with Italian speaking servers which is very authentic. We may have stayed too long, as we heard the BGM, background music, play Volare by Dean Martin 3 times. Prices are very affordable and the dining experience is wonderful.

The decor is quite pleasant, but lacks the music and bustle of an Italian restaurant. The food was okay, but we weren't impressed. A few details were lacking, for example, the veal was overcooked and quite tough. It's a shame, because the place has potential. We had to wait a long time for our main courses.

If you want to try Italian food in Amsterdam, this is a very nice place. They were very attentive; since we were Turkish, the staff knew we didn't eat pork and offered suggestions accordingly.

Our pizza was dry, tasted bland, and wasn't fluffy. Most likely frozen. The truffle risotto tasted mainly of ready-made mushroom sauce to me. It had nothing to do with truffles. The beer was okay. We definitely won't be coming back.

I walk past this restaurant regularly and it is always pleasantly full. I wanted to give it a try on a quiet Monday evening. As a starter, a Vitello Tonnato, which amounted to half an ounce of very thinly sliced ​​veal with half a container of tuna salad draped over it with some arugula. Not very special, but the worst was yet to come: the Saltimbocca alla Romana. Truly the absolute worst Saltimbocca I have ever eaten. A sort of schnitzel with salty "Parma" ham and an indistinct, rancid brown sauce. The service is attentive, that’s not the issue. But as far as I’m concerned, not recommended.

The risotto was absolutely delicious. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth the price. We were a group of about 10 people, and they welcomed us warmly.

The restaurant's atmosphere, the taste of the food, the service from the staff—everything was perfect!!! Each dish had its own unique characteristics, and the quality of the ingredients was showcased wonderfully. My recommendation is the shrimp and asparagus risotto 🦐 I visited this restaurant as a tourist, and I was so grateful that the staff helped me with my drunk friend and kindly spoke to me despite my broken English. I would definitely like to eat here again when I visit the Netherlands!

We ordered pasta carbonara and lambrusco bianco. The impressions are mixed - it seems delicious, the sauce is delicate in the pasta, but it seems like it was cooked at home, I want something tastier from a restaurant. We are used to the fact that they put egg yolk and parmesan in carbonara, here there was only spaghetti in sauce and bacon. Lambrusco is delicious, but for some reason there was a smell of fish.. I don't know, maybe it should be like that, but it hasn't happened before. The girls (staff) are friendly, it's easy and pleasant to communicate

Great meal, my wife and I had a tagliatelle carbonara, it was fantastic. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Edit after our third visit in the past few years. The food service and restaurant are still a great choice. We will certainly return on our next visit to Amsterdam. 😋

I went on a monday , lunch time, together with another person, arriving just very few minutes after a group of 8 persons. The meals were goof but the waiting time to bring us the starters, 2 soups, was over one hour , a little bit too too much. Once we finished the starters, like 10 mins after the main course arrived to our table. The waitress service is satisfactory. In general everything was OK, but the waiting/ delivery time, for bringing things to the table, is definitely a point of room for improvement.

The service was fabulous. We ate there twice. The food was fresh and served pronto. It was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was quaint.

We ordered two types of pasta, one with prawns and the other Carbonara. The prawn pasta was quite bland, and there were hardly any prawns. The Carbonara was just your average, run-of-the-mill pasta. But what really left a bad taste in our mouths was when we asked for a glass of water for a three-year-old, and they told us that water was sold separately and cost 7 euros. From that moment on, the experience was terrible.

Cute place, very welcoming staff, and delicious food. I have been to this restaurant twice and both experiences were very pleasant. A large menu and so far they have all been good. Definitely recommend a meal here.

The spaghetti with tomato sauce and salmon we ordered was made with a commercially available sauce, too bland, far from a traditional Italian sauce, the pizza 🍕 was average.

They leave they door open even when it's cold inside and you ask them to close it. So bring a warm jacket or go somewhere else. Maybe in December they'll finally start closing the door...

Aperitif: I received a half portion with 3 ice cubes, so it tasted like water... The pizza was served lukewarm... at the same time as the aperitif. So, far too expensive for such poor service.
